Abstract

Shopping centres in Denpasar are faced with parking supply problems. One of the problems is the difficulty in providing sufficient parking spaces based on actual demand. Efficiency of parking supply can be achieved if parking supply meets actual demand. This research is conducted in order to know parking characteristic, the degree of relation ship between parking demand and parameters of shopping centres as independent variables, to develop parking demand model and to analyse parking demand standard for shopping centres in Denpasar. Primary and secondary data are required in order to know parking characteristics. Primary data were obtained from direct observation onsite which include: parking vehicles data, number of visitor & parking inventory. Primary data were obtained from one day survey an Saturday between 09.00 am to 09.30 pm at each shopping centres. Secondary data (i.e. parameters of shopping centres) were obtained from the management of shopping centres. Shopping centres included in this study are: Robinson, Alfa Imam Bonjol, Ramayana Bali Mall, Tiara Grosir, Alfa Diponegoro and Hardy?s Sesetan. Parking demand models were developed by using simple & multiple regression methods with the help of SPSS 15.0 software. Independent variables included in this study are: floor area, netto floor area, service floor area, number of permanent employees, number of non-permanent employees, number of cashier and number of visitors. The dependent variables are average parking accumulation for car, motor cycle and taxi. Parking demand standards were calculated based on regression analysis of parking demand and shopping centres parameters. The results of the simple regression analysis showed that the relationship between car parking demand and number of non-permanent employees (X5) was indicated by regression formula : Y1 = -1,805 + 0,358.X5 (R2 = 0,965), where the car parking demand standard was 1,097 spaces/person. The relationship between motor cycles parking demand and number of non-permanent employees (X5) was indicated by regression formula: Y2 = -24,497 + 2,059.X5 (R2 = 0,873), where the motor cycles parking demand standard was 6,205 spaces / person. The relationship between taxi parking demand and number of non-permanent employees (X5) was indicated by regression formula: Y3 = -1,262 + 0,037.X5 (R2 = 0,915), where the taxi parking demand standard was 0,001 spaces / person. The results of the multiple regression analysis showed that the relationship between car parking demand and number of non-permanent employees (X5) was indicated by regression formula : Y1 = -1,805 + 0,358.X5 (R2 = 0,965). The relationship between motor cycles parking demand and combination number of permanent employees (X4) with number of non-permanent employees (X5) was indicated by regression formula : Y2 = 135,401 ? 1,200.X4 + 2,829 (R2 = 0,972). The relationship between taxi parking demand and number of non-permanent employees (X5) was indicated by regression formula: Y3 = -1,262 + 0,037.X5 (R2 = 0,915).

Abstract

Mall Ramayana Denpasar sebagai pusat perbelanjaan memiliki fasilitas parkir baik di dalam maupun di luar gedung. Untuk meningkatkan kepuasan pengguna parkir, maka dilakukan pemberlakuan pola petak parkir mobil dengan sudut 900  melalui penerapan teknologi tepat guna dengan pendekatan sistemik, holistik, interdisipliner dan partisipatori. Pengukuran kondisi lingkungan (suhu, kelembaban, kebisingan, intensitas cahaya) dilakukan menggunakan alat environment meter  dan anemometer (kecepatan angin). Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif dan diuji normalitasnya dengan uji Shapiro-Wilk  dan uji beda dengan One Way Anova, sedangkan yang tidak berdistribusi normal menggunakan uji Wilcoxon pada tingkat kemaknaan 5%. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan terhadap perbaikan basement parkir mobil menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan terhadap kepuasan ditinjau dari penurunan beban kerja sebesar 17,57%, penurunan penggunaan energi otot sebesar 29,96%, peningkatan kemudahan parkir sebesar 35,79%, peningkatan kenyamanan parkir  sebesar  54,63%, dan peningkatan produktivitas parkir sebesar 29,50%.

Abstract

Sebagai salah satu pusat perbelanjaan yang ada di kota Denpasar, area parkir sepeda motor di Hardy’s Sesetan memerlukan perhatian pihak manajemen. Beberapa hal yang perlu diperhatikan antara lain: tidak digunakannya fasilitas parkir yang ada; serta tempat parkir sepeda motor yang melebihi kapasitas. Jika masalah parkir tidak segera diatasi, maka akan terjadi masalah parkir di Hardy’s Sesetan, Denpasar. Hal ini didasarkan dari hasil penelitian karakteristik parkir di lokasi tersebut mempunyai karakteristik yang berbeda dengan puncak terjadi pada hari Sabtu, 31 Desember 2016 dengan rata-rata lama parkir sebesar 6,496 jam dan indeks parkir sebesar 5,1 serta terjadi pada hari Minggu, 1 Januari 2017 dengan rata-rata lama parkir sebesar 5,397 jam dan indeks parkir sebesar 6,45. Hal ini disebabkan karena pada hari tersebut adalah hari yang banyak kegiatan dan kunjungan di pusat perbelanjaan ini. Dengan demikian, kebutuhan parkir sepeda motor di Hardy’s Sesetan melebihi daya tampung yang ada.

Abstract

Program Iptek Bagi Masyarakat (IbM) bagi kelompok tani di Desa Batunya Baturiti Tabanan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas tanah olahan sehingga didapatkan produktivitas yang setinggi-tingginya. Kualitas tanah olahan dikatakan baik bilamana agregat atau butir-butir tanah terdiri dari butiran kecil yang memungkinkan terjadinya sirkulasi oksigen ketika tanah ditanami, sedangkan kuantitas tanah olahan adalah jumlah tanah dalam meter persegi yang mampu diolah tiap satuan waktu. Dengan kualitas tanah olahan yang baik petani akan mampu menanam bibit lebih banyak jika dibantingkan jika tanah olahan terdiri dari bongkahan-bongkahan kasar tidak merata. Pisau bajak atau yang lebih umum disebut singkal memegang peranan penting ketika proses pengolahan tanah akan dilakukan. Pisau bajak yang selama ini dipakai oleh warga kelompok tani adalah pisau bajak existing yang memiliki kelemahan pada bentuk mata pisau yang tidak bisa dibelokkan atau dibuat membentuk sudut, sehingga tidak mampu menjangkau tanah yang berada di pinggir pematang. Kira-kira 1 meter di sepanjang pematang tanah garapan tidak bisa dikerjakan karena alasan teknis, yaitu terhalang oleh roda traktor. Tanah-tanah tersebut, ditambah tanah di setiap sudut petak ladang terpaksa harus dikerjakan dengan tenaga tani upahan yang tentunya memerlukan biaya tambahan. Dengan mempertimbangkan adanya kemungkinan untuk upaya perbaikan, anggota kelompok tani Kembang Sari Batunya Bedugul sepakat berkolaborasi dengan para akademisi Politeknik Negeri Bali untuk mendapatkan solusi. Ada tiga desain yang ditawarkan kepada kelompok tani Kembang Sari, Desa Batunya Kecamatan Baturiti Tabanan Bali. Pertama, pisau bajak dengan empat mata pisau. Desain ini mengadopsi model pisau bajak yang dipakai oleh petani di Negara Inggris. Kinerja pisau bajak empat mata cukup baik, namun kurang disukai oleh petani karena agak berat dan tidak mampu menghalau sampah. Pisau bajak bermata dua juga memberi harapan cerah karena mampu meningkatkan produktivitas hampir 12%, namun sebagaimana juga pisau bajak bermata empat, pisau bajak ini memiliki kelemahan pada desain yang kurang fleksibel serta relatif berat. Mempertimbangkan kelemahan kedua desain di atas, pilihan kemudian jatuh pada desain yang ketiga, yaitu sebuah pisau bajak multi fungsi yang ergonomis. Multi fungsi karena posisi pisau dapat diatur sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Ergonomis karena ukurannya memakai antropometri petani. Produktivitas kerja meningkat cukup signifikan saat pisau bajak jenis ini diaplikasikan pada tanah lahan kering.

Abstract

The women workers usually work more than 8 hours a day and are in static condition, especially in the parking lot. Such conditions give rise to (a) fatigue accumulation, (b) musculoskeletal disorders, (c) increased workload, and (d) decreased work productivity. The study used the same subject design (treatment by subject design) involving 8 workers. In this case, will be compared the average score of workload and musculoskeletal disorders between before and after treatment. The data analysis used is paired t-test with 5% significance level. Some of the findings in this study are: (1) physical work environment in the comfort category based on acclimatization of Indonesian people; (2) the attitude of the parking officer is relatively natural, since they are using an ergonomic work station in terms of the suitability between the work table and the height of the worker's elbow and the seat is already referred to the popliteal height; (3) there was a significant decrease of workload between before and after the implementation of active participatory ergonomic break of 3.41% (p <0.05); and (4) there was a significant decrease of musculoskeletal disorder 41,63% (p <0,05).

Abstract

This research is an observation conducted on the health aspects of the work of carving artists, especially ergo-mechanical implementation to reduce subjective complaints. Ergo-mechanical is a set of equipment to maintain working environment conditions to remain within the required limits, so that the carving artist remains in a safe and comfortable condition. This study begins with direct observation of the process of carving handicrafts in several centers of carving crafts in Badung, Tabanan and Gianyar Districts. In accordance with the Bali State Polytechnic research master plan, problem solving will focus on human aspects and the use of appropriate technology. This research method is experimental with the design of the same subject, involving 9 samples that carried out activities before and after treatment. Data on environmental conditions, fatigue and musculoskeletal complaints are processed with statistics at a significance level of 5%. The results showed that with ergo-mechanical implementation and ergonomic work stations, occupational health indicators such as musculoskeletal disorders and fatigue showed better data, characterized by decreased musculoskeletal disorders and reduced fatigue.

The strategyshould be applied is (i) Maintain Yeh Gangga Beach as tourist attraction developedTabanan through local regulations, (ii) increasing public awareness of tourism. Abstract

It was needed an ergonomic work system to increase productivity for the vehicle driver work systems involves a lot of physical activity. Regarding preliminary observations, it showed the work system that was implemented still has shortcomings, unlike the work organization. Therefore, it needs to be prioritized to be improved. It becomes healthier, safer, more comfortable, and more productive. The driver?s work system improvement was carried out with an ergonomics approach. The study design used was the same subject design with ten people sample for each group. The study focused on the application of short rest with indicators of workload and musculoskeletal excitability before and after the short rest application. Based on the results of research and discussion can be concluded. The short rest application reduced the workload of vehicle drivers 28% from the category of moderate workloads to being moderate and reducing musculoskeletal complaints 42.21%.

Abstract

The implementation of the project from year to year is significantly improved on implementation aspects of cost, quality, and time, in order to manage the use of human resources to be realistic. Occupational health and safety in a company is often ignored especially for companies which are doing project developments. This also affects the occupational safety of the workers and occupational illness arisen after the projects have been implemented. So in running safe business, occupational health and safety management Systemshould be implemented consistently. The research was conducted in the project of Dialog Villa Petitenget, Cendrawasihstreet, Denpasar, with 15 workers as sample. The implementation of occupational health and safety management systemcan ease the workload of the workers of the structural finishing works of reinforced concrete columns. This is proved by analysis on the treatment group ((p-value< 0.05). This shows that the workloads felt by group P1 (group which implement occupational health and safety management System are lighter than the ones felt by group P0 (group which do not implement the system). The decrease in workload felt by group P1 is 4%. The implementation of occupational health and safety management system can increase work productivity on the construction project of reinforced concrete structure columns. This is proven by the productivity analysis result which shows that the productivity increase experienced by group P1 is 25% with significance level (p-value<0.05). Thus, the implementation of occupational health and safety management system on the structural finishing works of reinforced concrete columns is proven to be able to improve work productivity
