Abstract

The objectives of research are: (1) to find out whether or not there is a significant effect of physical work environment on the morale of KJKS Kospin Syariah Karanganyar employees in 2012, (2) to find out whether or not there is a significant effect of organizational culture on the morale of KJKS Kospin Syariah Karanganyar employees in 2012, and (3) to find out whether or not there is a significant effect of physical work environtment and organizational culture n the morale of KJKS kospin Syariah Karanganyar employees in 2012.This research employed a quantitative research approach with a descriptive method. The population of research was the employees of KJKS Kospin Syariah Karanganyar in 2012. The sampling technique used was  saturated sampling technique, the one with all members of population used s the sample so that the number of samples was 42. The technique of collecting data used was questionnaire supported by documentation method. The data analysis use in this research was a multiple linear regression analysis technique. Based on the result of research, it could be concluded that: (1) there was a significant relationship of physical of work environment to the morale of KJKS Kospin Syariah Karanganyar employees in 2012. It could be seen from the values of rstatistic > rtable­ or 0.450 > 0.304 at significance level of 5%. (2) There was a significant relationship of organizational culture tio the morale of KJKS Kospin Syariah Karanganyar employees in 2012. It could be seen from the values of rstatistic > rtable­ or 0.458 > 0.304 at significance level of 5%. (3) There is a significant relationship of physical work environment and organizational culture to the morale of KJKS Kospin Syariah Karanganyar employees in 2012 . It could be seen from the values of Fstatistic > Ftable­ or 11.165 > 3.238 at significance level of 5%. With the result of multiple linear equation of ? = 7.779 + 0.526X1 + 0.315X2. The physical work environment variable give relative contribution of 48.93% and effective contribution of 17.82%.Organizational culture variable give relative contribution of 51.07 and effective contribution of 18.59%. Keywords: physical work environment, organizational culture, and morale.

Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of this research are to investigate: (1) the effect of the motivation to achive on the learning achievement; (2) the effect of the learning facilities on the learning achievement; and (3) the simultaneus effect of the motivation to achive and the learning facilities on the learning achievement. This research used the descriptive quantitative research method. The population of the research was all of the XI class students of the office administration skill program of the state vocational high school 1 of Surakarta in the education and training year 2011/2012 as many as 75 students. The sample of the research consisted of 45 students or 60% out of the total number of population, and they were taken by using proportional random sampling technique. The data of the research were gathered by using questionnaire and documentation. They were then analyzed by using the multipel linear regression technique of analysis. The results of the research are as follows: (1) there is a significant and positive effect of the variable of the motivation to achive (X1) on the learning achievement; (2) there is a significant and positive effect of the variable of the learning facilities (X2) on the learning achievement; and (3) there is a simutaneusly significant and positive effect of the variable of the motivation to achive (X1) and that of the learning facilities (X2) on the learning (Y). The relative contribution of the motivation to achive (X1) on the learning achievement (Y) is 66.65%, and that of the learning facilities (X2) on the learning achievement (Y) is 33.34%. The effective contribution of the motivation to achive (X1) on the learning achievement (Y) is 48.05%, and that of the learning facilities (X2) on the learning achievement (Y) is 24.03%.

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of research is to find out the implementation of labor division in improving the effectiveness of employee performance in Human Resource Division of PT. Pos Indonesia Surakarta in 2010/2011. This research employed a qualitative approach, descriptive method, and single embedded research strategy. The sampling techniques used were purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Techniques of collecting data used were interview, observation, and documentation. The data validation was done using data and method triangulation. Technique of analyzing data used was an interactive model of analysis one. Considering the result of research, it can be concluded The implementation of labor division in Human Resource Division of PT. Pos Indonesia Surakarta in 2010/2011 includes a labor division implementation time. The labor division is carried out when the work exists, both routine and incidental works. Abstract

Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) merupakan cara berfikir yang mengedepankan nilai-nilai berfikir kritis dan kreatif sehingga dipandang mampu memberikan solusi dalam menghadapi tantangan perkembangan zaman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui dan memberikan gambaran tentang pemahaman guru kelas Sekolah Dasar (SD) terhadap HOTS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian survey sedangkan pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskritptif kuantitatif. Instrumen dalam pengambilan data menggunakan kuisioner/ angket tertutup yang dibagikan langsung kepada responden. Selanjutnya, data dalam penlitian ini dianalisis dengan teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 91,43% responden memahami konsep dari HOTS dan 8,57% responden belum memahami. Sebesar 85,71% responden berpendapat HOTS bisa diajarkan pada tingkat sekolah dasar, 11,43% berpendapat HOTS belum bisa diajarkan dan 2,86% responden menjawab tidak tahu. 82,86% responden sudah menerapkan HOTS pada kegiatan pembelajaran dan 17,14% responden belum menerapkan. Sebesar 79% responden kesulitan dalam merancang dan menerapkan evaluasi berbasiskan HOTS, 59% kesulitan dalam penyampaian materi pembelajaran, 45% kesulitan dalam merancang media pembelajaran, 38% kesulitan dalam merancang perangkat pembelajaran dan sebesar 31% kesulitan dalam proses penyusunan bahan ajar.

Abstract

The success of Jack Welch raised General Electric from buried to makeprograms remarkable changes as a benchmark for the modern business world in the 21st century. Development stages of Jack Welch include: (1) the demolition, which is doing the labor downsizing on a large scale, so got nickname of "Neutron Jack." (2) Creation, namely by offering to rebuild the working pattern of "opening up" the known as "Work-out," removes the parapet wall, providing a channel for employees to talk about whatever they think of related jobs. (3) Quality, i.e. introducing an extensive quality program, known by the name "Six Sigma," which spreads responsibilities related to quality. Rather than become an issue of production lines, quality becomes an issue that must be faced by everyone in the company.
