Abstract

The developmental research objective is to produce the module of outer space physics (Fisika Bumi Antariksa or FBA) that is suitbale and effective to increase the students’ achievment of Physics  Education in Faculty Teacher Training and Education, Lambung Mangkurat University.  The developmental method used Four D Mode covering define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subject of research is 33 students who took the outer space physics lecture for odd semester in 2011/2012. The data collection technique used the evaluation of suitability, questionnaire, and test. The tecnique of data analysis is qualitative and descriptive. The result of research stated that (1) the module of outer space  physics is suitable for learning material relating to content, language, and dilivery; (2) the students’ achievment is good because 9% of the students total number got “A” meaning very satisfying, 45% of them got “B” meaning satisfying, 27% of them got “C” meaning enough satisfying; and (3) the students responded positively to the use of the module of outer space physics in teaching learning activity. In a word, the module of outer space physics is suitable and effective to increase the students’ achievment of Physics Education in Faculty Teacher Training and Education, Lambung Mangkurat University.

Abstract

Nature of education is to optimize the learning outcomes of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor students, but in fact, the result of students of class X-1 SMAN 1 Anjir Pasar is still low. Conducted research described the effectiveness of the cooperative learning model TTW in improving student learning outcomes. The specific aims of this research describe feasibility RPP, learning outcomes, social skills, and student response. The research using classroom action research model of Hopkins which consists of 3 cycles include planning, action/observation, and reflection. The research subjects consisted of 28 students. The data obtained through the tests, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. The data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The findings of research showed: (1) feasibility RPP in cycle I, II, III respectively 79,40%; 91,90%; 95,83%, (2) an increase in exhaustiveness of students learning outcomes in classical the first cycle of 72,0% (not completed), the second cycle of 88,5% (complete), and the third cycle was 92,0% (complete), (3) social skills of students in the first cycle is generally pretty good, the second cycle increased to well, and a very good third cycle, and (4) students positive response to cooperative learning model TTW generally good. Conclusion of research is the effectiveness of application of cooperative learning model TTW in improving student learning outcomes in class X-1 SMAN 1 Anjir Pasar on the subject of heat transfer categorized effectively.

Abstract

Teaching and learning Process by teacher center on class effect at the skill of student social. Low of students? skill during teaching and learning process of Physics study indirectly low influencing of students? learning result. Therefore the researcher did the research with the aim to uplift skill class student social of XI TGB B SMNKN 5 Banjarmasin at static fluid discussion fundamental through applying of the study of type co-operative of Team games of Tournament. This Research type of Class Action Research (CAR) model Hopkins Which the research consist of 3 cycles, every cycle cover planning, observation and perception, and also reflection. The subject of the research is 20 class student of XI. This Matter is caused by done/conducted] study still centrally [at] teacher without entangling student actively. [Is] therefore done by research with the aim to increase the skill of student social by applying the model study of type co-operative of TGT. Data obtained to through etiquette, observation, test, and documentation. Data analyze descriptively qualitative and quantitative. Result of data analysis shows 1) the result of lesson plan [at] cycle of I, II, and III each of 63 %, 64 %, and 73 2) uplifting of skill of social [at] cycle of I, II, and III each of 27 %, 44 %, and 43,7 3) result learn student [at] cycle of I, II, and III each  0 %, 50 %, and 5,29 %, and 4) student response to model study of type of TGT unfavourable in general.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa diduga karena kurangnya karakter yang dimiliki seorang siswa selama proses pembelajaran seperti tekun, tanggung jawab, kejujuran, santun, dan ketelitian serta kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran, sehingga dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan khusus penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (1) kemampuan guru, (2) karakter siswa, (3) hasil belajar, (4) respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri atas 2 siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Temuan penelitian: (1) kemampuan guru pada siklus I dan II berkategori sangat baik yaitu 86,3% dan 94,9%,  (2) karakter siswa mengalami peningkatan pada semua aspek pada siklus I baik menjadi sangat baik pada siklus II, (3) ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa siklus I  sebesar 82% (tidak tuntas), dan  siklus II sebesar 92,3% (tuntas), (4) respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran adalah baik. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT berbasis karakter efektif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII A SMPN 1 Kertak Hanyar pada pokok bahasan tekanan.

Abstract

Rendahnya keterampilan proses sains siswa disebabkan karena siswa jarang dilatih berdiskusi dalam mempelajari materi pelajaran ataupun praktikum. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan model Inquiry-Discovery Learning (IDL) terbimbing dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas X-1 SMA Negeri 10 Banjarmasin pada materi ajar optika geometri. Secara khusus bertujuan mendeskripsikan keterampilan proses sains siswa, hasil belajar produk siswa, keterlaksanaan RPP, dan respon siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas model Hopkins meliputi identifikasi masalah, perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, tes, angket dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif, kuantitatif, dan kualitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksaan RPP terlaksana sangat baik dengan reabilitas rata-rata 90%, hasil belajar produk siswa mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I sebesar 83% (belum tuntas), siklus II sebesar 97% (tuntas), dan pada siklus III sebesar 100% (tuntas), keterampilan proses sains siswa mengalami peningkatan dari silkus I, II, dan III dengan ketegori cukup terampil menjadi terampil, dan respon minat dan motivasi siswa secara umum baik. Simpulan penelitian adalah model Inquiry-Discovery Learning (IDL) terbimbing pada materi ajar optika geometri di kelas X-1 SMA Negeri 10 Banjarmasin efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran fisika dikarenakan siswa jarang terlibat dalam pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian  yang bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar. Tujuan khusus dari penelitian ini adalah mendiskripsikan (1) keterlaksanaan RPP, (2) peningkatan hasil belajar, (3) aktivitas siswa, (4) respon siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) model Hopkins yang terdiri atas tiga siklus, di mana setiap siklus meliputi plan, action/observation, dan  reflective. Data diperoleh melalui  tes, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) keterlaksanaan RPP model quantum teaching pada siklus I secara umum terlaksana sangat baik, siklus II dan siklus III terlaksana sangat baik, (2) aktivitas siswa terdiri dari membaca, mendengar penjelasan, bertanya, diskusi, dan menyampaikan pendapat, sehingga secara umum aktivitas siswa pada siklus I aktif, sedangkan pada siklus II dan III sangat aktif, (3) peningkatan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal yaitu siklus I sebesar 80% (tidak tuntas), siklus II sebesar 88% (tuntas) dan siklus III sebesar 91% (tuntas), (4) respon siswa  pada aspek  attention, relevance,  confidence, dan satisfaction , dalam kategori baik. Simpulan bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA KORPRI Banjarmasin dapat ditingkatkan melalui penerapan model quantum teaching pada materi ajar usaha-energi.

Abstract

Scientific creativity and responsibility are believed to be key factors for overcoming increasingly complex real-life problems faced by students; but both competencies are not trained in school. Therefore, this research aims to describe the effectiveness of creative responsibility based learning (CRBL) to increase student?s responsibility and scientific creativity on physics learning in senior high school. This research used one group pretest-posttest design involving 66 students of two senior high schools in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, Indonesia. The data collection was conducted by using responsibility observation emphasizing on participatory, cooperation, delivering an opinion, and leadership. Additionally, data were gained through scientific creativity test emphasizing on problem finding, product improvement, scientific imagination, scientific problem solving, and creative product design. The data analysis was done through qualitative descriptive, n-gain, and paired t-test. The results showed      (1) student?s responsibility for each meeting is in good criteria, and (2) there is a significant increase on students? scientific creativity at ? = 5 %, with n-gain constitutes moderate category. Thus, the CRBL is believed to be effective to increase student?s responsibility and scientific creativity in physics learning

Abstract

Keterampilan proses sains peserta didik khususnya dalam hal memprediksi, menyimpulkan dan mengomunikasikan data hasil percobaan masih rendah. Oleh karena itu, diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif berbasis hands on activity untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif berbasis hands on activity. Adapun tujuan secara khusus, yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan: 1) keterlaksanaan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, 2) keterampilan proses sains dan, 3) hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas model Hopkins yang terdiri atas 3 siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) keterlaksanaan RPP pada siklus I, II, dan III terlaksana dengan baik, 2) keterampilan proses sains pada siklus I dengan kriteria baik (mengobservasi), kriteria cukup (menyimpulkan dan mengomunikasikan) dan kriteria kurang baik (memprediksi) mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II dan III menjadi kriteria baik dan sangat baik, 3) hasil belajar siswa meningkat dari siklus I (18,75%) dan siklus II (56,25%) dengan kategori tidak tuntas menjadi (87,50%) dengan kategori tuntas pada siklus III. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa keterampilan proses sains siswa di kelas VIII-E SMPN 25 Banjarmasin meningkat setelah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif berbasis hands on activity Science process skills of students, especially in terms of predicting, concluding and communicating experimental results data is still low. Therefore, a hands-on-based cooperative learning model is applied to improve students' science process skills. The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of science process skills of students after applying a cooperative learning model based on hands on activity. The specific objectives, namely to describe: 1) the implementation of the learning implementation plan, 2) science process skills and, 3) student learning outcomes. This type of research is a Hopkins model action research consisting of 3 cycles. Data collection techniques obtained through observation and tests. The results showed: 1) the implementation of lesson plans in cycles I, II, and III were carried out well, 2) science process skills in cycle I with good criteria (observing), sufficient criteria (inferring and communicating) and unfavorable criteria (predicting ) experienced an increase in the second and third cycles into good and very good criteria, 3) student learning outcomes improved from cycle I (18.75%) and cycle II (56.25%) with the incomplete category being (87.50%) with complete category in cycle III. It was concluded that the science process skills of students in class VIII-E SMPN 25 Banjarmasin increased after the application of hands-on-based cooperative learning models.

Abstract

Kurangnya antusias siswa karena tidak ada upaya guru untuk menggunakan multimedia seperti komputer sebagai variasi dalam proses pembelajaran menyebabkan rendahnya hasil belajar IPA.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalahuntuk (1) mengetahui komparasi model drill dan tutorial dalam mengoptimalkan hasil belajar siswa, dan (2) mengetahui respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran berbasis komputer. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan model pretest-posttest design dengan 2 macam perlakuan. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII D dan VIII E yang dipilih dengan metode probabilitas berupa convinience sampling dan jumlah siswa pada masing-masing kelas 28 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, tes hasil belajar, angket, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dan homogenitas, serta uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan PBK model drill dan model tutorial, dengan temuan (1) hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan PBK model tutorial sedikit lebih baik daripada siswa yang menggunakan PBK model drill, dan (2) siswa menunjukkan respon yang baik terhadap pembelajaran berbasis komputer.
