Abstract

Abstract : Duplang site in Jember regency has a historical value high enough so it can be              used as a source of historical learning. This research is aimed to examine and describe the historiaty and use the Duplang Site as a source of historical learning with using historical methode. Analysis and interpretation result prove that prehistoric relics on the Duplang Site has a historical value. It can be known by the historic period in Kamal village was in habited by early humans. With the objects of  prehistoric relics on the Duplang Site it can be used as a medium of teaching history. Key Words: History, Advantage

Abstract

This article discusses the dynamics of the UD lathe industry. Indo Trading 2011-2018. The problem that will be revealed is the factor behind the establishment of the UD lathe industry. Indo Trading in 2011, dynamics which included the development, change and sustainability of UD. Indo Trading. The scope of the material is the industrial elements which include capital, raw materials, labor, production and marketing processes. Factors that influence the establishment of UD. Indo trade can be classified into two types, the first is a factor that directly influences the establishment of UD. Indo Trading, this factor stems from the family's push to continue the family industry that has existed since the range of 1953. The second factor is a factor that affects indirectly, namely geographical factors where this factor is related to the fulfillment of raw materials in the wood lathe industry. In 2016 this industry changed to CV. Sicash Makmor with various changes and complex developments in it including capital, raw materials, labor, production processes and marketing.

Abstract

Sekar Budaya Group is an art group which houses the jaranan campursari art in Sukosari village, Sukowono subdistrict, Jember Regency. The Sekar Budaya Group has 35 members and also has 44 social gathering members. Sekar Budaya Group houses several art forms which are encompassed by the name of jaranan campursari. In the show, the Sekar Budaya Group always presents the arts it fosters, known by the people of the jaranan campursari sukosari. The establishment of the Sekar Budaya Group was motivated by economic factors and the condition of the art jaranan. Efforts made by the Sekar Budaya Group in preserving the art of the campursari network include protection efforts, utilization efforts, and development efforts. The efforts made by the Sekar Budaya Group had a positive impact on the development of network art and member income.   Keywords: Sekar Budaya Group, Jaranan Art Campursari

Abstract

In 1920, many Banjar people migrated to Tulungagung. Banjar community gradually grew more and more to the end of the interaction with the indigenous peoples of Tulungagung the majority of Javanese people. Therefore, from the interaction, in the year 1980 Banjar Migrant society is doing marriage with the people of Tulungagung who are aiming to establish their lives. At first the implementation of the marriage still follows the customs of the Banjar people, so it has not seen the function of marriage between Banjar and Java. Therefore, the existence of the marriage has emerged cultural influences and occurred accultutation. In the year 1987 when there began to be many who did the marriage between the two tribes, began to see a change of function in the marriage by looking at the customary clothing used and in the provision of Mahar. Then there is also a function of marriage that appears, judging by the use of customary marriage used based on the customary origin of the bride candidate. So that in the year 1991 to 2018 Acculturation is seen from the customary marriage that is used based on the origin of the bride candidate. Abstract

Learning material used learners in learning have not been able to grow the ability to seek and find their own and construct their understanding. Different speed of understanding and limited time in implementing learning in school resulted in learners unable to learn independently and directed and learn to solve problems systematically. For that the need for the use of innovative teaching materials in the form of module-based inquiry. Through the use of this inquiry-based module, learners are expected to develop their ability to learn through their own initiative and be able to solve problems critical, logical, and analytical learning so that they can formulate their own inventions full confidence. This study identifies the students needs analysis of the innovative teaching materials that learners want. This type of research is development research. Expert validation in this research is learning design expert, learning material expert and linguist. Research subjects in small group test as 10 children, big group test as 2 class in school faithful. Data collection techniques: observation, questionnaire, interview and documentation. A student needs analysis of inquiry-based module was obtained by questionnaire dispersion in three schools with class selection in low learning category. The needs analysis of learners measured through questionnaires used data with a presentation of needs of 78%. The results of validation of 60% design learning experts, 82% learning material experts and 82% language validation. One to one test result is 91%, small group test in SMAN 5 Jember class XI IIS 2 get t test (2,55) and SMAN Plus Sukowono class XI IIS 1 obtained t test (2,83). Large group test in SMAN 5 Jember class XI IIS 1 obtained data t test (2,83), class XI IIS 2 obtained data t test (3,16). Large group test in SMAN Plus Sukowono class XI IIS 1 was obtained t test (3,16) and class XI IIS 2 t test (2,91).   Keywords: Learning Resources, Inquiry-Based Modules

Abstract

This research aims at understanding the role of Admiral John Lie. It utilizes historical methods in analyzing data and facts. Three steps of research are applied in this writing. At an early stage the researcher collects data from books and. In the latter stage, various facts and findings are arranged one to another in order to discover the milestone of his contribution during the independence era. Thereafter in the final stage the researcher compiles stories and historical facts in a chronological manner. At least three important landmarks of his career could be traced back to understand his role in independence era: firstly the life before he joined the navy; secondly his role in the fight against the colonial rule; and thirdly his role in the military after the independence. We can conclude that John Lie had been grown up in the maritime community that which very positive for his career in the navy. In 1947 he made a heroic effort to penetrate the Dutch naval blockade in Singapore and smuggle rubber in exchange of weapons. Besides that, he made another important contribution to the nation when he led his troops in the fight against the rebellions of RMS and PRRI/Permesta.   Keywords: John Lie, Maintaining independence, filling independence

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Abdurrahman Wahid’s thought about democracy including what the factors of his idea in realizing democracy. The method used in this study is historical research method. The result showed that because democratic values haven’t run well, so Abdurrahman Wahid want to implement democracy in the domain of social, political, and economic. According to Abdurrahman Wahid, a democratic state when equalized all citizens before the law, upholds sovereignty law, free stating opinion, apply function checks and balance, and give priority to the welfare. The conclusion is thought Abdurrahman Wahid about democracy influenced by the sociocultural, education, and political experience, who good synergy, until formed the idea of democracy. This research is expected to be a reference for the community to apply the values of democracy in order unites the various interests and the diversity of Indonesian peoples.   Keywords: Abdurrahman Wahid, political thought, and democracy.

Abstract

American intervention in the government of President Ferdinand E. Marcos related to the economic crisis, political, social in Philippines. The development of communist ideology supports the growing crisis in the Philippines and it influences the interests of America that related to the economic and politics in both countries. The purpose of this study is to provide new knowledge about the politics in Southeast Asia with America around the 20th century, especially the leadership of Ferdinand E. Marcos in Philippines. This study applies the method of historical research with a heuristics technique or a source selection, a source criticism, an interpretation, and historiography. American intervention overthrows the power of Ferdinand E. Marcos through the military field and political field. America utilizes a conspiracy between the high officials RAM (Reform the Army Movement), the diplomacy senator from the part of President Reagan to the government of Philippines, and support to the opposition under Cory Aquino. Finally, American intervention managed to depose Marcos from the presidency which is later replaced by Cory Aquino in 1986. Keywords: American intervention, President Ferdinand E. Abstract

The dynamics of community life around ulo coastal tourism in Jember district have increased, both in terms of economic income increase and socio-cultural changes that occur. The problems in this research are; how is the history of the establishment of Watu Ulo as a tourist attraction ?; and how is the socio-economic life of the people in Watu Ulo Sumberejo village around 2003 ?; and how is the dynamics of socio-economic life of the people in Watu Ulo Sumberejo village in 2003-2015?. The purpose of this research is to analyze the history of the establishment of Watu Ulo as a tourist attraction, and to analyze the socio-economic life of people in Watu Ulo Sumberejo village around 2003, and to analyze the dynamics of socio-economic life of the people in Watu Ulo Sumberejo village in 2003-2015. The research method used is historical research method.
