Abstract

This research aimed to design wave visualization based VBA on microsoft excel as a valid physics learning media for senior high school students of class XI. This research used Research and Development method with ADDIE type. The steps of the design of learning media of this wave visualization include Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. However, in this research the researchers only implement up to the development step, then conducted media validation using assessment instruments. The instrument used is validation sheets of the wave visualization learning media. assessment is done on three aspects, namely design aspect, learning content aspect, and pedagogic aspect assessed by validator. Validator consists of team experts and users. Expert validator is a lecturer of Physics Education University of Riau, while the user is a teachers from senior high school on pekanbaru. The validation score obtained for the design aspect of the experts and users is 3.62. The validation score on aspects of learning content from the experts and users is 3.60 and the validation score obtained on the pedagogic aspect of the experts and users  is 3.73. The validation results of  wave visualization based VBA on excel is in the  category very high for all aspects assessed, thus this media can be valid and feasible to be used as a valid physics learning media of students class XI in senior high school.

Abstract

This research is motivated the low achievement motivation of employees in the implementation of tasks in Office Education of West Sumatra Province. This study aims to obtain information about employee achievement motivation in the implementation of tasks in the West Sumatra Provincial Office viewed from aspects of responsibility, acceptance of feedback, creativity and innovation. This type of research is descriptive with the population being employees of the Education Office of West Sumatra Province, amounting to 191 people . The sampling technique was Proportional Random Sampling so that the respondents were 68 people. The research instrument is a questionnaire (questionnaire) with a Likert Scale model with five alternative answers, namely always (SL), often (SR), sometimes (KD), rare (JR), and never (TP), which has been tested for validity and reliability. Questionnaire declared invalid by rho rho Countof rho table validity test using SPSS 16.0 to test the validity perbutir and declared all valid items with a 95% confidence level and reliability of otherwise reliable with rho Countof rho table is 0.971> 0.444. The data were processed using the formula average(mean).The results showed that achievement motivation seen from the aspect of responsibility was in the high category with an average score of 3.67. For the aspect of receiving feedback, the category is quite high with an average score of 3.55. For the aspect of creativity in the high enough category with an average score of 3.56, then the innovative aspect is in the high category with an average score of 3.67. In general, achievement motivation in carrying out tasks in the West Sumatra Provincial Education Office is in the high category with an average score of 3.67. Based on this, the authors suggest that the provision of achievement motivation be increased again so that it can increase employee motivation in work.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa praktek perkuliahan Tata Rias Pengantin Indonesia sulit dipahami karena media pembelajaran belum efektif. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang efektif pada mata kuliah Tata Rias Pengantin Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan modelpengembangan 4-D (Four-D). tahapan model 4D yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Media pembelajaran ini akan diterapkan menggunakan aplikasi edmodo. Simpulan hasil penelitian menunjukkan media pembelajaran yang dihailkan efektif yang ditunjukkan dengan perbedaan nilai hasil belajar mahasiswa antara kelas control dan kelas eksperimen. Media ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran mata kuliah Tata Rias Pengantin Indonesia.

Abstract

penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran Kesehatan Keselamatan Kerja dan Lingkungan Hidup (K3LH) menggunakan model problem based learning dalam memenuhi tuntutan kurikulum 2013 edisi revisi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Perangkat yang dikembangkan terdiri dari silabus, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD), dan penilaian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan dalam kriteria sangat valid pada aspek validitas, kriteria sangat praktis pada aspek praktikalitas, dan kriteria sedang pada aspek efektivitas. dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran Kesehatan Keselamatan Kerja dan Lingkungan Hidup menggunakan model  problem based  learning  telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif.

Abstract

This research was based on the demands of the 21st century in which teachers should have 4 skills (critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication).  Teachers are required to change the way of teaching that initially (teacher-centered) turns into (student-centered) and able to participate to follow the development of technology. Therefore,  E-book learning is needed that can present material pedagogy integrated with kolb learning and 4C's. This research aims to produce the final product in the form of valid e-book media learning, practical and effective in pedagogy subject. This was a research and development (Research and Development) research. This development research used ADDIE development model consisting of 5 stages which were Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Based on the results, e-book validation testing conducted by three validators, it obtained Aiken's score 0.9 with a valid category. The test results practicalities of the teachers and the students were 86% in the practical category. The effectiveness test results was 89.65%. Thus, it can be concluded that this research has produced a pedagogical e-book which is valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

Akademi komunitas merupakan bentuk Pendidikan vokasional baru yang ada di Indonesia. Basis pendirian dari Akademi komunitas ini adalah keunggulan lokal atau memenuhi kebutuhan khusus, hal ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan potensi yang ada didaerah. Untuk mewujudkan tujuan dari pendirian Akademi Komunitas ini, maka perlunya suatu inovasi pada kegiatan pembelajaran yaitu dengan memilih model pembelajaran yang dapat mewujudkan tujuan dari pendirian Akademi Komunitas tersebut. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan pembelajaran Praktek Las di Akademi Komunitas dengan penerapan model project based learning dalam mewujudkan tujuan pendiriannya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Data penelitian diperoleh dari observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dari penerapan model project based learning pada mata kuliah praktek las yang telah dilakukan mahasiswa mampu mengidentifikasi potensi, tantangan atau masalah yang ada didaerah sekitaran Akademi Komunitas. Hasil indetifikasi dan diskusi tentang potensi daerah yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa adalah pada bidang pertanian dan masalahnya alat pertanian yang dimiliki oleh petani masih konvesional. Berdasarkan hal ini mahasiswa membuat tugas proyek berupa alat pertanian sederhana. Produk hasil tugas proyek mahasiswa ini berpotensi untuk mengembangkan potensi daerah dan memecahkan masalah yang berkembang dimasyarakat.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe the learning outcomes of Senior High School 1 rupat utara students by applying the time token learning model accompanied by question card media and knowing the difference in learning outcomes between students who apply the time token learning model accompanied by the question card media with conventional models. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with posttest-only design. The population is all students of class XI Science Senior High School 1 Rupat Utara in the 2018/2019 school year. The sample consisted of two classes, namely class XI Science 1, which numbered 30 people as the experimental class and class XI Science 2, which numbered 29 people as the control class. This research instrument uses cognitive test questions. Data were analyzed descriptively by looking at differences in students cognitive learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class then analyzed inferentially using the T-Test. The results of data analysis obtained are the average absorption of the experimental class with the value obtained is 79.17% and 72.07% control class. The absorption percentage of the experimental class and the control class are in the good category with a value difference of 7.1%. Based on the results of this research it can be concluded that the application of the time token learning model along with the media card questions can improve student cognitive learning outcomes in the material temperature, heat, and heat transfer of class XI Science in Senior High School 1 Rupat Utara.Key Words: Time Token, Question card, Cognitive Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Ibn Hazm is one of Muslim thinkers who is famous for his philosophical thoughts. One of his philosophical thoughts is concerned with epistemology of science. In his view, the truth of science can be obtained through reason and senses.  Senses can comprehend the real objects while reason comprehend the abstract ones. He asserts, however, that reason faculty is higher than sense faculty since the later usually makes mistakes in understanding an object. Abstract

This article deals with the concept of education evaluation from the Qur’anic perspective. Evaluation is a popular term much used in education to know a student’s performance in education. In this context, in the Qur’an, we also find  some terms that have similar  meaning with evaluation. For example, al-inba’, al-hisab, al-bala, al-nadzar, al-wazn, al-fitnah al-taqdir . These terms are used by the Qur’an to evaluate God’s servants, either  those who believe or disbelieve in God. Abstract

Subgrade is an important part in road pavement construction, which serves as the foundation and must have the ability to bear the traffic load applying on the surface of the pavement. This study examined changes in the carrying capacity of soft soil after stabilization process using asphalt emulsion. The results of this study indicate that the stabilization process using asphalt emulsion can lower the Plasticity Index and increase the dry density and strength of the soil.Keywords: subgrade, stabilization, asphalt emulsion, Plasticity Index, dry density, soil strength.
