Abstract

Studies of green synthesis of nanoparticles mediated by plants extract is extensively explored and studied in recent time due to eco-friendliness, cost-effectiveness, and use a minimum amount of toxic chemicals in the process of inorganic material synthesis. In this study, the immobilization of silver nanoparticles on the surface of titanium dioxide (TiO2) was carried out using Uncaria gambier Roxb. leaf extract as a silver ion (Ag+) reducing agent. The synthesized Ag/TiO2 nanocomposite was characterized by UV-Vis spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy (DRS). The formation of silver nanoparticles was confirmed through UV-Vis spectroscopic analysis, which showed a silver surface plasmon resonance (SPR) band at 426 nm. The X-ray diffraction pattern shows that Ag can inhibit the transition of the anatase into rutile phase. The presence of Ag particles in TiO2 can increase the absorption ability from an initial wavelength of 407 nm to 438 nm. Based on the results of Rhodamin B degradation, it can be seen that Ag/TiO2 has a higher photocatalytic activity than bare TiO2 with 99% percent degradation at 120 minutes of irradiation time.

Abstract

Catalysts have played an important role in many industries because they allow the reaction occurs faster. The aim of this work were to synthesize and characterize a Cu(II)-acetonitrile complex immobilized on modified silica and to investigate its catalytic activity at optimal condition (catalyst concentration, stirring rate, and the duration of reaction) in transesterification of frying oil. Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) and Nano Laser-Particle Size Analyzer (NL-PSA) were used to characterized the catalyst obtained, metal loading and leaching of the copper content was measured by Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) and the formation of product from transesterification reaction was analyzed by Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy (GC-MS). FTIR spectra reveal a successful synthesis of modified silica and the immobilized Cu(II)-acetonitrile complex on it. NL-PSA Analysis showed that the catalyst possesed smaller particle size than the parent silica. Analysis with AAS confirms the stable catalysts formed because metal loading and leaching value were of 6.19 and 0.16%, respectively. The optimum conditions were found to be 0.80% catalyst concentration, 300 rpm stirring rate and 10 h duration of reaction.

Abstract

Abstrak?Beton merupakan salah satu campuran material yang sangat banyak digunakan dalam setiap pekerjaan konstruksi, baik untuk kegiatan bangunan, jalan atau pembuatan jembatan. Beton memilikki kriteria yang berbeda-beda sesuai dengan perencanaan yang telah disepakati. Mutu suatu beton sangat dipengaruhi oleh material pembentuknya ataupun dari sisi perawatannya. Mutu beton dapat berkurang dikarenakan terjadinya hal yang tidak diinginkan seperti terjadinya kebakaran. Proses pemanasan berlebih terhadap suatu beton tidak direncanaan pada tahapan perencanaan beton sehingga bisa saja mengurangi atau menambah mutu beton tersebut. Oleh karena itu tujuan dari pada penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan kuat tekan beton yang terjadi akibat pembakaran dengan kuat tekan beton normal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode American Concrete Institute (ACI). Penelitian ini dilakukaan terhadapat mutu beton 20 MPa dengan sampel berbentuk silinder dengan jumlah sampel penelitian pada masing-masing sampel beton sebanyak 8 buah dengan pembagian sampel penelitian 4 sampel untuk dibakar dan 4 sampel untuk kondisi normal. Pembakaran dilakukan pada suhu >250oC dan lamanya pembakaran selama 3 jam. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terhadap sampel yang di uji diperoleh mutu beton untuk kondisi beton kondisi bakar berturut- turut sebesar 17,7 Mpa, 20,9 Mpa, 11,4 MPa, dan 21,7 MPa. Sedangkan untuk kondisi beton normal diperoleh sebesar 25,8 MPa, 26,67 MPa, 28,4 MPa dan 22,5 MPa. Berdasarkan kuat tekan beton dengan pembakaran didapatkan kuat tekan rata-rata sebesar 17.925 MPa. Sedangkan pada perlakuan beton normal tanpa bakar diperoleh kuat tekan rata-rata sebesar 27.00 MPa. Sehingga penurunan kuat tekan beton akibat terjadinya kebakaran adalah sebesar 33,61% dari kondisi beton normal. Kata kunci: Kuat Tekan Beton, American Concrete Institute, Beton Bakar. The quality of concrete is greatly influenced by its material and maintenance. Concrete quality can be reduced due to fire. The overheating process of concrete is not planned at the concrete planning stage. Therefore, it may reduce or increase the quality of the concrete. The current study aimed to compare the press strength of combusted and normal concrete. The American Concrete Institute (ACI) method was employed in the study. This study was conducted on the 20 MPa cylindrical concrete for a total of 8 samples. Four samples were set to be burned while the other four were in normal conditions. Combustion is carried out at temperatures above 250oC for the duration of 3 hours. The results showed that the concrete quality of the combusted concrete was 17.7 Mpa, 20.9 Mpa, 11.4 MPa, and 21.7 MPa, respectively while the normal concrete obtained 25.8 MPa, 26.67 MPa, 28.4 MPa, and 22.5 MPa respectively. The average press strength for combusted concrete was 17,925 MPa while the normal concrete without combustion was 27.00 MPa. It can be concluded that combustion reduced the press strength of the concrete at about 33.61% compared to the normal concrete. Abstract

AbstractThis research was movitated by lack of social skills in 5-6 year student in one class who amounted to 20 children with 2 teachers. The purpose of this study aims to enhance the development of the child?s social skills through role play activites in children aged 5-6 years in Gembala Baik kindergarten. Social skills are very important for each person to be able to interact with environtment. Therepore social skills need to be improved since an early age. This research is a classroom action research. The subject in this study is children aged 5-6 years in group B of Gembala Baik kindergarten. The variables of this study are the social skills of the children. Data collection is done through observation and interview. The technique of data analysis was done in descriptively. The stages of the research consist of done in descriptively. The stages of the research consist of olanning, action, observation, and reflection, this study implemented as many As 2 cycles. The results showed that the social skills of children can be as 2 cycles. The result showed that the social skills of children can be increased after the given action, as for the action given a role ?play activity. Social skills, develop in the aspect of children patienty waiting for their. Turn to reach 100%, the aspect child can obey the rules that was agreed upon reaches 100%, and aspect of children work together with friends to reach 90% in cyle 2 meeting 2. Thus, social skills can  be enhanced through role-play activites. Keywords: Social Skill, Role Play

Abstract

Abstract: All verses Quran are opened to be interpreted in various science contexts, including education. This article focuses on study at reconstructing the instructional concept of Quran. Results of this study indicate that instructional concepts own sturdy bases in al-Qur’an. A lot of verses of Quran give indication of people to learn more about thinking than memorizing. The past occurrence mirrors the instructional dynamics of human learning. The instructors are not only Allah, but also people, bird, and nature. Al-Qur’an always learns human being based on concrete media support even if the items are eschatology and theology. The instructional conception of Quran must not only use term ‘allama-yu‘allimu, but also yuwâri, yatafakkaru containing instructional elements. This reality shows that instructional concepts of Quran put more nuances of concrete-media than abstract-verbal ones.Abstrak:  Semua ayat al-Qur’an terbuka untuk ditafsirkan dalam berbagai konteks keilmuan, termasuk pendidikan. Tulisan ini memfokuskan rekonstruksi konsep pembelajaran al-Qur’an. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan konsep pembelajaran memiliki dasar kokoh dalam al-Qur’an. Banyak ayat al-Qur’an memberikan indikasi manusia belajar lebih banyak berpikir daripada menghafal. Kejadian masa lalu mencerminkan pembelajaran manusia secara dinamis. Pelaku proses pembelajaran bukan saja Allah, tetapi juga manusia, burung, dan alam. Al-Qur’an membelajarkan manusia berbasis dukungan media konkrit al-Qur’an sekalipun materi eskatologis dan teologis. Konsep pembelajaran al-Qur’an tidak mesti menggunakan istilah ‘allama-yu‘allimu, tetapi juga  yuwâri, yatafakkaru mengandung unsur pembelajaran. Realitas ini menunjukkan, konsep pembelajaran al-Qur’an lebih bernuansa media konkrit daripada abstrak-verbal.

Abstract

Telah berhasil dilakukan penumbuhan lapisan tipis magnetite (Fe3O4) di atas substrat Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) dengan metode elektrodeposisi (ED), menggunakan Continue Direct Current (CDC). Karakterisasi XRD menunjukkan bahwa proses pemanasan sangat mempengaruhi terbentuknya lapisan tipis magnetite. Magnetite terdeposisi dengan struktur FCC dengan ukuran kristal 32,617 nm sampai 185,521 nm, dibawah kontrol konsentrasi surfaktan terhadap pelarutnya. Parameter deposisi optimum adalah ukuran kristal dan permukaan yang lebih halus. Parameter kisi masing-masing sampel adalah 8,313 , 8,365 , 8,354 , 8,351 , sedikit lebih rendah dari nilai standar 8.375 (JCPDS # 01-088-0315). Sedangkan jarak antar bidang kristal yang diperoleh berada pada kisaran 2,507 sampai dengan 2,522 . Hasil karakterisasi SEM menunjukkan bahwa magnetite tersebar merata di atas substrat ITO. Tiga sampel (K,O,P) terdeposisi dalam bentuk agregat dari kristal magnetite. Sedangkan sampel Q terdeposisi dalam bentuk lapisan.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter identik dengan pendidikan akhlak. Keduanya memiliki kesamaan tujuan yaitu membentuk watak atau sifat manusia. Dalam Islam, esensi pendidikan karakter dilakukan pada masa kanak-kanak yaitu antara 0 sampai 10 tahun. Usia ini merupakan usia penentu pembentukan karakter baik dan buruk manusia, sebagai peletak dasar bagi pembiasaan karakter yang akan dijalani selama hidupnya. Usia remaja dan dewasa hanya membiasakan karakter yang sudah terbentuk sejak masa kanak-kanak. Bagi Islam, tujuan utama pembentukan dan pendidikan manusia yaitu memahami etika kehidupan sebagai bekal hidup berdampingan dengan sesama manusia dan makhluk lain di alam raya dan terbiasa menyembah Allah dengan segala aturannya. Dua karakter utama yang hendak dibentuk perspektif Islam adalah manusia muslim yang senantiasa berzikir beribadah kepada Allah dan berbudi pekerti mulia terhadap semua makhluk ciptaan Allah di langit dan di bumi baik alam nyata maupun alam gaib.

Abstract

AbstractClassroom management is part of the classroom activities that determine the quality of education, and plays an important role in developing the ability of classroom teachers at the elementary school level. Classroom management demands classroom teachers to do more upbringing in the classroom. The nurturing efforts are contained in the skills component of the classroom teacher associated with the creation and maintenance of optimal learning conditions, and skills related to optimal learning condition control. While Catholic ethics is the basic foundation of the character in Catholic Religion taught in Catholic schools as part of the character formation of learners, are as follows: (1) love, (2) honesty, (3) discipline, (4) responsibility (5) hard-work, (6) huminity, (7) wisdom, (8) anti-dishonesty, (9) happiness, (10) peace/harmony, (11) goodness, (12) compassion, (13) charity, and (14) justice. Class-based Catholic ethics management at Bruder Singkawang Private Elementary School wants the quality of education to start from a professional classroom management based on Catholic ethics which then the Catholic ethics values are developed through integration into all subjects, integration into everyday activities by all citizens of the school, integration through routine habits such as maintaining the cleanliness of the school environment and words of motivation, integration into school programs, integration through extracurricular activities, and parents-teachers coordination.Keywords: Classroom Management, Catholic Ethics.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to find out about the implementation of the teacher's personal competence in learning at TK Negeri Pembina Pontianak Barat. The research method used was qualitative. The subjects in this study were 6 teachers at TK Negeri Pembina Pontianak Barat. Data collection techniques used was direct observation techniques, direct communication techniques and documentary techniques with data the collection tools observation and interview guides also documentation. The results obtained that the implementation of teacher personality competencies in learning at TK Negeri Pembina Pontianak Barat can be carried out well as follows, 5 of 6 teachers can implemented the teacher personality competencies that are steady and stable in learning, by fostering discipline to students, all teachers can implemented a mature personality that is not emotion in dealing with problems, not all teachers can implemented a wise personality in learning, there was still 1 teacher who does not carry out her responsibilities as a teacher, all teachers have implemented an authoritative personality in learning of students by providing a good example to students, all teachers have implemented a personality that has a noble character to students by being honest.Key words: Early Childhood Learning, Teacher?s Personal Competence
