Abstract

This research was focus on the low of student?s learning outcome, specially on Basic Electricity and Electronics subject at SMKN 1 Sumatera Barat. The objective is to reveal the comparisons of applying inquiry learning model and problem based learning model to the subject. By using Quasi experimental with simple random sampling; one of probability sampling tecnique, the Inqury model was enducted in experiment class and The Other class where PBL learning model, was also implemented to compare the treatment. The primary data was collected by structured  test (Pre-test and Post-test) according to basic competences described of the subject. based on the t-test result, complying the pre-requisite test such as normalityexamination, this research found that t0?t ? t0 (-2,052 ? 2,55  ?  2,052). However, the result has shown that inquiry learning model is providing better student?s learning outcome than PBL model. Therefore, the inquiry model is more effective than PBL model as research conclusion.Keywords: learning outcomes, learning model, Inquiry, Problem Based Learning.

Abstract

Problems in this research The media used in the teaching and learning process still has a shortage of the limited physical component in SMK Negeri 1 Lembah Melintang. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of GNS3 on the results of learning network-based broad-based installation of students of class XI TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Lembah Melintang. This type of research is experimental research. class  experimentI is class TKJ A using software simulation GNS3 and class experiment II is TKJ B using sotware simulation packet tracer. Technique of collecting data from post-test value, then analyzed for homogeneity test, normality test and hypothesis test. From the experimental class experimental I result I get the average value 78.77 and experiment II get average value 75,42. The result of hypothesis calculation at significant level ? = 0,05 got tcount> ttable (3,574> 1,688), because big tcount of ttable, null hypothesis (H0) rejected and alternative hypothesis (Ha) accepted. Thus, the hypothesis is accepted that there is a significant comparation to the student learning outcomes using Software GNS3 to the learning outcomes of installation of broad-based network devices on students of class XI TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Lembah Melintang. Keywords: learning outcomes, GNS3, Packet Tracer.

Abstract

Tujuan pembuatan sistem Closed House ayam broiler adalah untuk mengaplikasikan penggunaan penggunaan arduino mega 2560 dan sensor DHT22 pada bidang peternakan. Alat ini dirancang untuk mengontrol suhu dan kelembaban kandang serta menyediakan udara sehat bagi ayam. Hal ini dilakukan dengan menjaga sirkulasi udara didalam kandang ayam. Metode perancangan alat dimulai dengan perancangan blok diagram, pemilihan spesifikasi komponen sesuai dengan blok diagram, penggabungan antar blok diagram, pembuatan flowchart dan pemograman sistem. Alat ini terdiri dari lampu pijar sebagai pemanas, kipas sebagai alat pendingin dan penjaga sirkulasi udara. Pompa mengalirkan air pada jaring-jaring agar dihasilkan udara segar ketika kipas pendingin bekerja. Udara segar yang dihasilkan meningkatkan kelembaban udara didalam kandang. Alat ini dilengkapi dengan Modul SIM800L yang bertujuan untuk monitoring keadaan kandang. Data yang dikirim kepada pemilik berupa pesan singkat data suhu, kelembaban, umur ayam broiler dan keterangan apakah suhu telah sesuai dengan suhu acuan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang telah dirancang mampu mempertahankan suhu 30-33°C pada siang hari dan 26-33°C pada malam hari. Hal ini menunjukkan sistem bekerja dengan baik sesuai dengan rancangan.Kata kunci : Closed House, DHT22, Modul SIM800L. The purpose of making Closed House broiler system is to apply the use of arduino mega 2560 and DHT22 sensors in the field of animal husbandry. This tool is designed to control the temperature and humidity of the cage and provide healthy air for chickens. This is done by maintaining air circulation in the chicken coop. The method of designing tools starts with designing block diagrams, selecting component specifications according to block diagrams, merging between block diagrams, making flowcharts and programming the system. This tool consists of an incandescent lamp as a heater, a fan as a cooling device and air circulation guards. The pump drains water in the nets to produce fresh air when the cooling fan is working. The fresh air produced increases the humidity of the air inside the cage. This tool is equipped with SIM800L Module which aims to monitor the state of the cage. The data sent to the owner in the form of a short message data on temperature, humidity, age of broiler chickens and information whether the temperature is in accordance with the reference temperature. The test results show that the system that has been designed is able to maintain temperatures of 30-33 ° C during the day and 26-33 ° C at night. This shows the system works well in accordance with the design.Keywords: Closed House, DHT22, SIM800L Module.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to reveal the influenceof learning method and creativity, individually or in groups, to learning outcomes. The population is 49 people and the sample is 34 students of class X TAV in SMK N 1 Koto XI Tarusan. This research is using Simple Random Sampling method. The data ofstudent?s learning outcomes obtained from teachers of Elektronika Lanjutan subject. The data of learning method and creativity the way collected through a questionnaire to students by using a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. The result showed that (1) learning methodis significantly affecting the learning outcomes of students at19.82%, (2) creativity issignificantly affecting the learning outcomes of students at 14,44%, (3) both learning method and creativity are significantly affecting student?s learning outcomes at 24.05%. The conclusion is learning method and creativity are affecting the student?s learning outcomes at SMK 1 Koto XI Tarusan. The better learning method and creativity, the higher student?s learning outcomes. Keywords: How Learning, Creativity, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

The contraction of final assignment is purposed to develop the automatic porridge mixer that can be used to mix more than one kind of porridge. The device uses the Arduino Uno Microcontroller that has function as input, and output processing. The input is a DHT11 temperature sensor and the output is for control the motor?s speed that moves the mixer. In the other hand, output also has function as display manager and menu selection. The device works as the automatic porridge mixer which will do the porridge mixing at the speed rotation which suit with the temperature that be read. The porridge mixing will be started after choosing one kind of porridge menu which can find in the display of led panel. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the use of computer assisted media in discovery learning models to learning outcomes of basic electrical and electronic training courses. The research subject is class X in the expertise of Audio Video (TAV) expertse. this type of research is a quasi-experimental. Students of class X TAV in SMK 1 Ranah Ampek Hulu are 29 school year 2018/2019 and here only take samples from the study as many as 25 students. The data of this study were taken by collecting scores four times through Pretest and Postest with an objective question of 15 items for a single meeting, the question also passed the different test questions, difficulty indexes, validity and reliability. From the four pretest and posttest meetings the results of the study can be seen using the normality test and hypothesis testing. From the results of the study there are average results of the pretest is 60.64 while the posttest is 82.88. The results of the t-test analysis obtained by tcount = 3.738 which is greater than t table = 1.711 at the 0.05 level of significance. Thus it can be concluded that the learning process using powerpoint media has an influence on the learning outcomes of class X TAV students of SMK 1 Ampek Hulu.Keywords: Computer Based Learning, Powerpoint, Discovery Learning (DL)

Abstract

This research is caused by working interest and industrial internship experience have a contribution on the students? readiness to face the work field. The aim of this research is to show the contribution of working interest and industrial internship experience on individually or together on readiness to enter the work field. The population of this research is 134 students and the sample study is 58 studentsof SMKN 1 Sintuk Toboh Gadang who have done industrial internship experience. The data of this research is collected by questionnaire distributed to the studentswith using a Likert scale that has tested for validity and reliability. The results of data analysis showed that (1) The working interest and industrial internship experience in together contributed significantly onreadiness to enter the workfield of students by 36.8%. (2) The working interest contributed significantly onreadiness to enter the work field by 11.76%, (3) The industrial internship experience contributed significantly onreadiness to enter the work field by 24.01%. It can be concluded that working interest and industrial internship experience contributed on readiness to enter the work field of the XII grades students of SMKN 1 Sintuk Toboh Gadang, the higher of working interest and the good industrial internship experience, then the higher the readiness to enter the work field. Keywords:the working interest, industrial internship experience, readiness to enter the work field

Abstract

WPAN Zegbee adalah salah satu jaringan personal area pada data rate rendah maksimal 250 Kbps. Pada implementasinya dapat digunakan topologi mesh, star dan cluster tree. Topologi cluster tree memiliki kelebihan karena dapat menambah covered area jaringan, akan tetapi pada sisi lain menambah latency waktupengiriman data. Penelitian ini dibuat dengan simulasi software Network Simulator 2 (NS2) untuk menganalisis kinerja jaringan WPAN zegbee dengan topologi cluster tree. Indikator kinerja yang diuji adalah throughput, delay dan packet delivery ratio (PDR). Kinerja jaringan dimati melalui lima scenario dengan memvariasikan jumlah node. Skenario node yaitu 4 , 13, 28, 49 dan 76. Masing-masing scenario dikirimkan paket data 50. Jarak masing-masing node adalah 10 meter. Routing protocol yang digunakan AODV, model antenna omni, tipe antrian first in first out (FIFO), model propagasi two way ground dan tipe trafi FTP. Analisis kinerja jaringan WPAN skenario pertama didapatkan nilai throughput 8,037 Kbps, delay 0,007342 detik dan PDR 97,37 %. Skenario kedua didapatkan hasil throughput 6,562 Kbps, delay 0,007774 detik dan PDR 90,37 %.. Skenario ketiga didapatkan hasil throughput 7,663 Kbps, delay 0,009809 detik dan PDR 77,15 %. Skenario keempat didapatkan hasil throughput 7,954 Kbps, delay 0,015264 detik dan PDR 74,93 %. Skenario kelima didapatkan hasil throughput 2,899 Kbps, delay 0,020772detik dan PDR 63,11 %.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted in April-May 2019 in the waters of Poncan Island, North Sumatra Province, which aims to determine the large nutrient content of substrate (nitrate and phosphate), the level of seagrass density Enhalus acoroides, and to determine the effect of nutrient content of the substrate on the density of seagrass Enhalus acoroides. Determination of the research station by purposive sampling and research sampling using the transect line method. The results showed that the highest nutrient content of substrate (nitrate and phosphate) was found at Station II which has a type of muddy sand substrate and the area is influenced by tourist activity.Nitrate concentration values were 0,074 mg / l and 0,122 mg / l for phosphate concentration values.The highest seagrass density was in Station II with a value of 74,22 stands / m2which had the highest nitrate and phosphate content, and the lowest seagrass density was in Station III which had the lowest nitrate and phosphate concentrations.Simple linear regression test results of the influence of nutrient substrate on the density of seagrass with a value of R2(coefficient of determination) = 0,27 (nitrate), 0,40 (phosphate) indicates there was effect of nitrate and phosphate on the density of seagrass Enhalus acoroides. Keyword: Nutrient Substrate, Nitrate and Phosphate, Seagrass Density

Abstract

This research was conducted on October-December 2013, at Freshwater Culture Installation of Fisheries and Marine Department of  Riau Province and Bandar Kayangan Lake,  Lembah Sari village subdistrict Rumbai Pesisir Pekanbaru city Riau Province. The research aimed to analyze the water quality condition of Bandar Kayangan lake and determine the impact on  survival and growth of Catfish (Pangasius hypothalamus) fry. The method used is an experimental method by observing and measuring  sample directly on rearing cages measure 1x1x1 m. Catfish fries were stocked at the two weeks on age with the number ( 50 fries ) and  3 months time of rearing. Three units of cages were placed at each station that has been determined  and  Rumbai Freshwater Cultured Installation pond as control. The datas analyzed by descriptively and statistically, the descriptive analysis performed on physical and chemical parameters of water based on PP No. 82 year 2001 and was associated with the growth and survival of catfish fingerlings. Statistical analysis was using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and completely randomized design (CRD) with treatment of 3 times repetition. Growth and survival of catfish fingerlings on each station were quite well where the average growth of absolute weight between 35.43-36.20 grams, the average  growth rate of daily weight between 5.602-5.782%, the average of absolute growth in length between13,61-14.10 cm, the average of daily growth in length between 2.285 - 2.321% and the survival rate between 56-79%.
