Abstract

The aim of this research is to know and to identify: (1) The teaching learning process of artistic skill of seventh grade students of State Junior High School in Surakarta, (2) The existing difficulties which occur in the teaching learning process of artistic skill, (3) The type of artistic skill which is given to the seventh grade students in order to express themselves. This research revealed that (1) before teaching learning process of cultural art, teachers make a study design, and formulate it into the lesson plan; teachers create various teaching methods according to the condition of participants, teaching materials, and school condition; teachers apply various methods in delivering subject matters; teachers use materials; teachers may utilize media and learning source in teaching. (2) the difficulties found in teaching learning process mainly occur in the activity of self-expression through works of art which is not yet maximum; the lack of practice room for the participants, and the place to keep participants' master pieces which is not yet available; the activity of practice requires much time and cost. (3) The applied fine art which is given is batik and decorative manner.

Abstract

The article discusses the implementation of fine arts education in Kindergarten, specifically in the free drawing study. It is proper if the learning and implementation activities in kindergarten refer to the philosophy and basic purpose determined in law. Teacher is demanded to know the development of their students who are developing accordance to their age (childhood). Teacher conducts learning activity in accordance to the schedule determined by particular strategy (motivation distribution), so the children may remain to express their selves as well as been expected before. In evaluating the children's work, teacher has to refer to the philosophy of free expression approach in that children expression is unique and natural and inside of the substances. There are not any ?true? and ?false? terms in expressing themselves in fine arts. The evaluation system is appreciative, that is accepting and appreciating what the children express or create by showing the possibility of the increase of the quality of the created work of art.

Abstract

Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk mengetahui keuntungan (kerugian) ekonomis yang  diterima pelaku kegiatan pariwisata jika kondisi atau kualitas pariwisata di Bukit Cinta menjadi membaik (memburuk). Perubahan kondisi atau kualitas pariwisata dilihat atribut biaya perjalanan, lingkungan alami, pementasan budaya jawa, dan pasar tradisional. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengukur  perubahan keuntungan ekonomis yang diterima atau kerugian ekonomis yang harus ditanggung oleh  pelaku kegiatan pariwisata di  Bukit Cinta  dengan pendekatan model utilitas random.  Studi menemukan bahwa faktor biaya perjalanan, lingkungan alami, dan pasar tradisional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap preferensi responden dalam memilih perubahan kondisi pariwisata. Nilai kompensasi yang diterima pengunjung sebagai akibat perubahan kondisi membaik sebesar 736,49 juta sedangkan perubahan kondisi memburuk sebesar 397,41 juta. Rekomendasi penelitian ini adalah pemerintah daerah perlu memperhatikan faktor lingkungan alami dan pasar tradisional dalam merumuskan pengembangan pariwisata di Bukit Cinta kedepan.  Kata kunci: bukit cinta, kualitas pariwisata, nilai ekonomi, utilitas random

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui, mengidentifikasi, dan mendeskripsikan strategi pembelajaran ”pemberian motivasi” bercerita/berdialog untuk membangkitkan perhatian dan merangsang lahirnya motif yang dapat dijadikan dasar dalam berkarya; serta strategi pembelajaran ”pemberian motivasi” tiga cara untuk meningkatkan kualitas hasil kemampuan menggambar bebas pada peserta didik. Penelitian tindakan kelas dilakukan dalam 3 siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi partisipasif; wawancara informal secara mendalam terhadap guru; dan kumpulan karya (portofolio kerja) peserta didik. Uji Validitas Data digunakan triangulasi sumber data, triangulasi metode, dan diskusi bersama guru dengan peneliti untuk membahas kemajuan yang telah dicapai. Hasil  penelitian menunjukkan hasil: a). Strategi pembelajaran pemberian motivasi melalui bercerita/berdialog yang dirancang lebih atraktif dan menarik dapat membangkitkan perhatian dan rangsangan lahirnya motif yang dapat dijadikan dasar dalam berkarya (kegiatan menggambar bebas) pada peserta didik. b). Strategi pembelajaran ”pemberian motivasi” dinyatakan dapat meningkatkan penguasaan peserta didik akan teknik, bahan/alat, dan mengenalkan warna dalam kegiatan menggambar bebas, serta meningkatkan kualitas hasil kemampuan menggambar bebas peserta didik. The goals of this research are to find out, identify, and describe learning strategy of “motivation rewarding” in retelling/making dialogs to evoke students’ attention and stimulate their motives for drawing; and to use three ways of “motivation rewarding” to develop their aptitude in a free drawing. The action research was conducted in three cycles. Techniques of collecting data were implemented by participatory observation; a thorough informal interview with teachers; and students’ portofolio. Data validity test used data source triangulation, method triangulation, and discussion with teachers and researchers to evaluate the achieved progress. The findings show: (a) Learning strategy of motivation rewarding through a more attractively designed retelling/making dialogs could evoke students’ attention and stimulate their motives to make free drawings; (b) Learning strategy of motivation rewarding could improve students’ mastery of techniques, materials/tools, and colors in free drawing activity, and enhance the quality of their free drawing aptitude.

Abstract

Sektor pemasaran sebagai salah satu fungsi dalam perusahaan yang diharapkan mampu berperan banyak dalam upaya meningkatkan volume penjualan. Fungsi dari kegiatan pemasaran adalah menyakinkan konsumen agar bersedia membeli produk yang ditawarkan. Untuk menghindari kesalahan sasaran program pemasaran perlu adanya suatu strategi pemasaran yang tepat, yaitu strategi pemasaran yang berwawasan lingkungan pemasaran. Hal ini penting untuk menghadapi setiap perubahan lingkungan pemasaran yang semakin tidak menentu dan agar dapat bersaing serta bertahan dalam percaturan bisnis dan untuk mengantisipasi kecenderungan pemasaran karena sifat pasar yang selalu berubah dan tidak  pasti.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis lingkungan internal (kekuatan dan kelemahan) serta eksternal (peluang dan ancaman) perusahaan, serta untuk mengidentifikasi strategi yang tepat bagi perusahaan.Dari hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa strategi pemasaran yang diterapkan adalah strategi pertumbuhan internal perusahaan dengan cara pendekatan penetrasi pasar. Alasan yang mendasari pemutusan  strategi tersebut adalah pada analisis lingkungan eksternal EFAS (External Factor Analysis Strategy) yang meliputi kondisi demografi, teknologi yang menunjukkan beberapa peluang bagi perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang perikanan untuk tumbuh dan berkembang. Pada analisis lingkungan internal IFAS (Internal Factor Analysis Strategy) perusahaan menunjukkan kondisi internal perusahaan masih perlu dibenahi karena kekuatan Sumber Daya Manusia merupakan potensi yang dapat dikembangkan dimasa yang akan datang.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi pemasaran dalam hal ini untuk mengantisipasi lingkungan internal.  Kata kunci: analisis lingkungan, penentuan strategi.

Abstract

The education of art and culture contributes to the development goals of the Indonesian nation in the form of collective art (integrated art) of the whole art. Concretely, traditional art form in Indonesia can be found in wayang art. Globalization and the development of ICT in the show world now have a negative impact on the lack of interest of the younger generation to recognize the performance of wayang art, especially Solo cultural city. The research on the background of the creation of the Heri Dono puppet legend involves the aspect of the idea (source of ideas) that underlies the artist in the wayang puppets way of being a new wayang. This research uses qualitative-descriptive approach. The object of research is the process of making and events Wayang Legend show. Sources of research data are informants, places, events, and documentation. Data obtained through observation techniques, interviews, and content analysis to examine existing document study, purposive sampling, and snowball sampling. The validity of the data is tested by triangulation of sources and methods. Data were analyzed using interactive analysis technique.The background of the Wayang Puppet creation Heri Dono stood on the consciousness of presenting himself, turning to tradition, and beginning in the 1980s. Experiencing puppet characters is related to understanding puppet show stories. Heri Dono reaffirms his belief that art is not separated from culture. Underlying his art making, he feels the need to develop the sensitivity to listen to the sounds and music, the sensitivity to motion and the sensitivity of telling. Heri Dono created two series of Legend Puppet: in 1988 "Si Tungkot Tunggal Panaluan" based on the legend of Batak society of North Sumatra and in 1992 "Momotaro" which raised the legend of Japanese society. The Legend Wayang Series uses vernacular as a medium for the disclosure of contemporary art; universal language is used to build communication within the sphere of the modern world, which incorporates the image of cartoons and comics.
