Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of physical properties and chemical properties of breadfruit flour Toddo'puli varieties. This research is experimental research, object in this research that is breadfruit flour which are made from varieties of Toddo'puli, with 3 times repeat so as to produce amount of unit trial counted 3 unit. Data of research obtained by way observation, documentation and experiment. files analysis techniques used are descriptive statistics. The results showed that the average value of yield obtained was 17.09%, viscosity 4,960 centipoise, moisture content 6,66%, amylose content 0,65%, amylopectin content 36,38%. While for organoleptic test of flour consist of color, smell and texture in a row get average value equal to 2,75%, 2,88%, 3,41%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the chemical characteristics of milk dairy cow in Sinjai District include fat content, protein content, calcium level and phosphorus level. The results of this test will be compared with the requirement of fresh milk quality based on Indonesian National Standard. This research is a kind of survey research, this research is done by taking samples of milk dairy cattle at three farmer groups in Sinjai District, especially in West Sinjai Sub-district namely  Batu leppa farmer group, Batu Pangkaiya  farmer group and Pattiroang farmer group. The results showed that milk protein content of dairy cows in Sinjai District has complied with Indonesian National Standard, but its fat content has not fulfilled the Indonesian National Standard. The calcium and phosphor content of dairy cattle milk in Sinjai District is good enough and meets the standards of fresh milk based on the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksplorasi yang bertujuan untuk mengisolasi senyawa metabolit sekunder dalam ekstrak n-heksana Daun Lannea coromandelica Houtt Merr. yang berasal dari kecamatan Cina, kabupaten Bone, Sulawesi Selatan. Isolasi dilakukan dengan beberapa tahap yaitu maserasi, partisi dengan n-heksana, fraksinasi, pemurnian dan identifikasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh isolat murni berupa kristal jarum berwarna putih dengan titik leleh 140,20C. Hasil uji dengan pereaksi Meyer menghasilkan endapan putih dan Wagner menghasilkan endapan coklat menunjukkan positif alkaloid. Identifikasi dengan spektroskopi infra merah memberikan serapan pada bilangan gelombang (cm-1) : 3502,73 ; 2954,99 ; 2868,15 ; 1687,71; 1463,97; 1382,96; 1330,88; dan 1037,70 yang menunjukkan adanya gugus fungsi -N-H, -C-H alifatik (CH2 dan CH3), -C=O, -C=C, dan -C-N. Kata kunci : Daun L.coromandelica Houtt Merr., Isolasi, Alkaloid. ABSTRACT This study is exploratory research that aims to isolate the secondary metabolite compound contained in n-hexane extract of Lannea coromandelica Houtt Merr. leaves from Cina district, Bone Regency, South Sulawesi. The isolation was done through several stages, maceration, partitioning with n-hexane, fractionation, purification and identification. The results was obtained in pure needle crystal shape with a melting point 140,2°C. The test result with the Meyer reagent showed the formation of a white precipitated and the Wagner test showed the formation of a brown precipitated, there for it can be categorized as positive alkaloid. Identification with an infrared spectroscopy giving absorbance at the wave number (cm-1): 3502,73 ; 2954,99 ; 2868,15 ; 1687,71; 1463,97; 1382,96; 1330,88; and 1037,70 refers of function groups -N-H, -C-H aliphatic (CH2 and CH3), -C=O, -C=C, and -C-N. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh penambahan katalis asam klorida (HCl) terhadap sintetik polieugenol, bagaimana pengaruh penggunaan media NaCl terhadap sintetik polieugenol, serta kelarutan polieugenol dalam beberapa pelarut murni. Polieugenol yang akan disintesis berasal dari minyak cengkeh (Syzigium aromaticum) yang diperoleh dari kabupaten Soppeng. Tahapan penelitian ini terdiri dari (1) isolasi minyak atsiri dari bunga cengkeh dengan metode ekstraksi kontinu dan water distillation, (2) ekstraksi eugenol dari minyak atsiri bunga cengkeh yang dikarakterisasi dengan penentuan rendemen, analisis GC-MS, serta analisis dengan spektrofotometer inframerah (IR), dan (3) polimerisasi eugenol dengan katalis asam klorida yang dikarakterisasi dengan penentuan kelarutan, rendemen, serta analisis spektrofotometer IR. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa rendemen terbesar hasil polimerisasi diperoleh pada perbandingan mol HCl dan eugenol 1 : 2, yaitu 87,21 % pada polimerisasi eugenol dengan media NaCl dan 86,56 % pada polimerisasi eugenol tanpa media. Selain itu diketahui pula bahwa polimerisasi eugenol dengan menggunakan media NaCl tidak terjadi dengan sempurna, dikarenakan proses adisi pada tahap inisiasi terganggu karena ikutnya media tersebut bereaksi yang dibuktikan oleh masih terdapatnya serapan khas gugus C=C pada bilangan gelombang 1606,70 - 1637,56 cm-1, sehingga lebih baik melakukan polimerisasi eugenol tanpa menggunakan media.Kata Kunci : Polieugenol, Bunga Cengkeh, Eugenol, HCl, Polimerisasi, dan SintetikABSTRACTThe aim of this research was to know about the influence of chloride acid (HCl) addition as a catalyst toward the polyeugenol synthesis, about the influence of sodium chloride (NaCl) medium usage toward polyeugenol synthesis, and about the solubility of polyeugenol in some pure solvents. The polyeugenol was made from clove oil which obtained from Soppeng regency. This research consists of several stages, i.e (1) the isolation of essential oil from clove?s flower using continuous extraction method and water distillation, (2) the extraction of eugenol from clove?s oil which characterized with yield determination, GC-MS analysis, and infrared (IR) spectrophotometer analysis, and (3) polymerization of eugenol using chloride acid which characterized with solubility determination, yield determination, and IR spectrophotometer analysis. The result of this reaserch showed that the largest yield was obtained from ratio of mol HCl and eugenol as 1 : 2, was 87,21 % on polymerization of eugenol with NaCl medium and 86,56 % on polymerization of eugenol without using medium. Also note that polymerization of eugenol with using NaCl medium was unsuccessful, due to the addition process on inisiation step was disturbed, because the medium joined in the reaction that proved by typical C=C absorption on 1606,70 ? 1637,56 cm-1, so would be better to polymerize eugenol without using medium.Keywords : Polyeugenol, Cloves, Eugenol, HCl, Polymerization, and Synthesis

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk menemukan langkah-langkah yang tepat dalam penerapan model pembelajaran TGT sehingga dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan aktivitas belajar peserta didik Kelas X MIA-3 SMAN Tanete Rilau, barru. Subyek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik Kelas X MIA-3 semester I tahun pembelajaran 2014/2015 sebanyak 38 orang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, siklus I dilaksanakan sebanyak 3 kali pertemuan dengan waktu 9 jam pelajaran. Pertemuan pertama dilaksanakan game, pertemuan kedua dilaksanakan turnamen dan pada pertemuan ketiga dilaksanakan tes hasil belajar dan begitupula pada siklus II. Adapun langkah-langkahnya yang tepat dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran TGT yaitu: (1) Guru menyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran dan memotivasi peserta didik serta guru mengaitkan pelajaran sekarang dengan yang terdahulu. (2) Guru menjelaskan  langkah-langkah model TGT dengan menggunakan bahasa yang mudah dipahami dan menyampaikan materi kepada peserta didik dengan media power point. (3) Guru mengorganisasikan peserta didik ke dalam kelompok belajar (setiap kelompok beranggotakan 4-6 orang peserta didik) dan menunjuk ketua kelompok. (4) Guru meminta perwakilan masing-masing kelompok untuk berada di meja turnamen dan memberikan soal untuk di jawab. (5) Guru membagi peserta didik ke dalam meja turnamen dan membagikan soal-soal turnamen berdasarkan tingkat kesulitannya kepada masing-masing kelompok turnamen. (6) Guru memberikan penghargan kepada setiap kelompok yang memiliki poin tinggi.Kata kunci: Penelitian tindakan kelas, Langkah-langkah model pembelajaran TGT                                              ABSTRACTThis study is about a research of a classroom action that aims to find the right steps in the TGT (Team games tournament) implementation learning model in order to increase the motivation and activity student learning outcomes in class X MIA-3, SMAN 1 Tanete Rilau, barru. The subject is the 10th students consist of 38 participants. This study was conducted in two cycles, the first cycle performed 3 time meeting in taking 9 hours. The first meeting implemented game, the second implemented tournament and at the third meeting conducted study outcome test and similarly,on the second cycle. The steps are: (1) The teacher (the researcher) informed the purpose of learning and motivated the students, and the teacher connected this lesson and its previous. (2) The teacher (the researcher) explained the model steps of TGT in using an easy way to be understood and using power point software as well. (3) The teacher (the researcher) organized the students in a group (each group has 4 to 6 participants) this search group has a leader. (4) The teacher (researcher) asked for each group to keep staying in the tournament table to give questions to be answered. (5) The teacher (the researcher) divided in several tournament tables and distributed the tournament questions based on the difficulties level to the each group. (6) The teacher (the researcher) then gave a reward to the each group who had high point.Key words: The action class research, measures TGT learning model.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Desain penelitian Posttest-Only Control Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Tamalatea yang terdiri dari 6 kelas yang mana kelas X-1 sebagai kelas Eksperimen dan X-4 sebagai kelas Kontrol. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen sebesar 61,8529 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 55,4117 dengan standar deviasi berturut-turut adalah 13,5778 dan 13,3805 dengan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 35,29% untuk kelas eksperimen dan 23,52% untuk kelas kontrol. Hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan uji-t pada taraf signifikan, ? = 0,05 diperoleh nilai t hitung (1,97) > t tabel (1,66) menunjukkan hipotesis diterima.Kata kunci: pembelajaran berbasis masalah, reduksi dan oksidasiABSTRACTThis study was a quasi-experimental. The research design is Posttest - Only Control Design. The population was class X SMA Negeri Negeri 1 Tamalatea consisted of 6 classes, the smaple of this research consisted of two classes namely X-1 as an experimental class and Class X-4 as a control class. The results of descriptive analyzed showed that the average score of experimental class is 61,8529 and control class is 55,4117 with standard deviation are 13,5778 and 13,3805 while completeness is 35,29% for experimental class and 23,52% for control class. The results of hypothesis testing using t-test at significance level, ? = 0,05 was obtained tcount = 1,97 > ttable = 1,66 suggests the hypothesis is accepted.Keyword: problem based learning, reduction and oxidation

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu(quasi eksperimen) yang bertujuan mengetahui ada tidaknyaperbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik yang dibelajarkandengan metode pemberian tugas kerja kelompok denganmetode pemberian tugas kerja individu pada modelpembelajaran discovery learning pada peserta didik kelas XIMIA SMA Negeri 1 Tondong Tallasa Kab. Pangkep (padamateri pokok termokimia). Desain penelitian ?Posstest-onlyControl Desaign?. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelasXI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Tondong Tallasa Kab. Pangkep,dengan kelas XI MIA1 sebagai kelas eksperimen I yangterdiri dari 25 peserta didik dan XI MIA2 sebagai kelaseksperimen II yang terdiri dari 24 peserta didik. Pengambilandata dilakukan dengan pemberian tes hasil belajar. Data hasilbelajar yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif daninferensial. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan nilaiposttest kelas eksperimen I lebih tinggi yaitu 73,80dibandingkan nilai posttest kelas eksperimen II yaitu 67,71serta persentase ketuntasan kelas eksperimen I yaitu 64,00 %dan persentase ketuntasan kelas eksperimen II yaitu 37,50%.Hasil analisis inferensial dengan uji Mann-Whitney (U-test)menunjukkan nilai signifikan < ? (0,05) yaitu 0,033<0,05dengan kriteria pungijian tolak Ho dan terima H1. Demikiandapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajarpeserta didik yang dibelajarkan dengan metode pemberiantugas kerja kelompok dengan metode kerja individu padamodel pembelajaran discovery learning.Kata kunci: Kerja kelompok¸ Kerja individu, discoverylearning, Hasil belajarABSTRACTThis is a quasi experiment research to find outwheather the learning results of students that were give teamwork assignments are different to srudents that were givenindividual assignments during the application of thediscovery learning model. This study was conducted usingstudents of year XI MIA SMAN 1 Tondong Tallasa Kab.Pangkep for thermochemistry topic. The research designposstest only control design. Two classes were used as thesamples XI MIA1 which consisted of 25 students as theExperimental Class and XI MIA2 which consisted of 24students as the Experimental Class II. The learning resultsdata was collected using an achievement test and the datawas analyzed inferential statistics test. The results showedthat the learning results of the Experimental Class 1 werebetter than the Experimental Class 2 (Mann-Whitney Testwas 0,033< ? (0.05) where the post-test results were 73,80and 67,71 for the Experimental Class I and the ExperimentalClass II. The number of students who achieved completenesswas 64% for the Experimental Class I and 37,50% for theExperimental Class II. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media animasi pada model discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar kimia peserta didik kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Bungoro pada materi pokok ikatan kimia. Desain penelitian ini adalah ?Posttest-Only Control Design?. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Bungoro yang terdiri dari 5 kelas. Penentuan sampel dilakukan secara random kelas dan terpilih kelas X MIA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X MIA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pada penelitian ini, variabel bebasnya terbagi atas dua yaitu model discovery learning dengan penggunaan media animasi dan model discovery learning tanpa penggunaan media animasi sedangkan variabel terikatnya yaitu hasil belajar kimia peserta didik kelas X MIA SMAN 1 Bungoro pada materi pokok Ikatan Kimia. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan pemberian Tes Hasil Belajar sebanyak 20 nomor jenis pilihan ganda yang telah divalidasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan pengujian hipotesis. Deskripsi hasil belajar peserta didik menunjukkan nilai rata-rata untuk kelas eksperimen adalah 65,44 dan kelas kontrol adalah 56,18. Ketuntasan untuk kelas eksperimen adalah 45,16% dan kelas kontrol 21,21%. Hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan uji-t pada taraf signifikan, ? = 0,05 dengan nilai thitung 2,55 lebih besar t(0,05)(62) 1,669 menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif penggunaan media animasi pada model discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar kimia peserta didik kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Bungoro.Kata kunci: Animasi, Discovery Learning, Ikatan KimiaABSTRACTThis study is a quasi-experimental research aimed to determine the effect of animation media on the discovery learning models to chemical learning achievment of students of class X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Bungoro in the subject matter of chemical bonds. The research design is "Posttest-Only Control Design". The population are all students of class X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Bungoro which consists of 5 classes. Sampling is selected by randomly and class X MIA 3 as the experimental class and X MIA 2 as the control class. In this study, the independent variables are divided into two, namely a discovery learning models using animation media and discovery learning models without animation media while the dependent variable is the learning achievnent. Data were obtained by Tests Learning Achievment as many as 20 numbers that have been validated. Data are analyzed using descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing. Description of the study of students showed an average value for the experimental class is 65,44 and the control class is 56,18. The completeness of the experimental class is 45,16% and the control class is 21,21%. The results of hypothesis testing indicate tcount of 2,55 better than t(0,05)(62) of 1,669; there is a positive influence of the animation media on discovery learning models to chemical learning achievment of students of class X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Bungoro.Keywords: Animation, Discovery learning, Chemical bonding

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of adding red dragon fruit to the chemical and hedonic content of caramel milk. This study used a method of adding 20%, 30%, and 40% red dragon fruit pulp for caramel milk candy with a cooking time of 2 hours at 80˚C. This research is a quantitative study (experiment) using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments, each control, 20%, 30%, and 40% with 3 replications. The research data was obtained from the results of chemical testing (moisture content, ash content, fiber, reduction sugar, and antioxidants) and organoleptic (color, taste, aroma, and texture), data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and continued with DRMT test (Duncan ) at a 95% confidence level. The results showed that the addition of red dragon fruit pulp had an effect on caramel milk candy, the best research on the manufacture of caramel milk was the addition of 40% red dragon fruit pulp with characteristics of 3.54% moisture content, 1.98% ash content, 1.48% fiber content, decreased sugar content 2.18%, antioxidant content 53.77%, favorite color value 4.10, favorite aroma value 3.52, flavor 3.83, and favorite texture value 3.23

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey and ex-post facto yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara motivasi peserta didik dengan hasil belajar kimia kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri Se-Kecamatan Ternate Utara tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Total populasi penelitian sebanyak 311 peserta didik dengan ukuran sampel sebanyak 175 peserta didik. Teknik penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan propotional cluster random sampling. Pengambilan data penelitian menggunakan instrumen berupa angket terbuka dan tes. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan Software SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa korelasi antara motivasi peserta didik dengan hasil belajar kimia sangat kuat dengan niai yag diperoleh adalah 0,88. Untuk uji hipotesis digunakan uji t, data yang diperoleh menunjukan thitung > ttabel yaitu 8,23 > 1,97 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 di terima sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat korelasi antara motivasi peserta didik dengan hasil belajar kimia.Kata Kunci: motivasi, hasil belajar.ABSTRACTThe study is a survey and ex-post facto which aims to determine the correlation between the motivation of students with chemistry learning outcomes grade XI IPA of State Senior High Schools in North Ternate District in the academic year 2017/2018. The total population of the study was 311 students with a sample size of 175 students. The sample determination technique is used propotional cluster random sampling. Retrieval of research data using an instrument in the form of an open questionnaire and test, research data were analyzed using SPSS Software. The results showed that the correlation between the motivation of students with chemistry learning outcomes was very strong with the value obtained was 0.88. To test the hypothesis, the t test is used, the data obtained shows tcount > t table that the number is 8.23 > 1.97 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted so that it can be concluded that there is a correlation between the motivation of students with chemistry learning outcomes. Keywords: Motivation, Learning Achievement.
