Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the effect of applying the cooperative learning model of the talking stick type to the results of mathematics learning in fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Bukit Batu Bengkalis Regency. This type of research is a Quasi Experimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The subjects of this study were all students in class V, Va class totaling 20 people as the experimental class and Vb class totaling 18 people as the control class. Data collection techniques using tests. Instruments for measuring learning outcomes using pretest and posttest in the form of objective tests. The data analysis technique uses the t test. The results of the study on the control class of the pretest value obtained an average of 36.66 and the posttest value of 57.77 while in the experimental class the value of the pretest was 33.50 and the posttest value was 70.25. The results of the hypothesis test indicate that the value of 〖t 〗_count ≥ t_table or 4.33 ≥ 1.69 is obtained. This shows that the application of the cooperative learning model of the talking stick type influences the results of mathematics learning in fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Bukit Batu, Bengkalis Regency.Key Words: Talking Stick, Mathematics Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research was carried out because of the low role of parents’ in giving tutoring to 4th grade students at 188 Pekanbaru state elementary school which can be seen from the many students’ who are lazy to learn and the value is still below KKM. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of the parents’ role in providing learning guidance with learning outcomes of 4th grade students at 188 Pekanbaru state elementary school. This research was conducted at 188 Pekanbaru state elementary school in August, 2018. This research is quantitative research with a sample of 78 students. The data use in this study is secondary data obtained from questionnaire and data of students’ learning outcomes. Data collection techniques of the parents’ role in providing tutoring are obtained from questionnaires given to students and students’ learning outcomes are obtained from teacher’s value book documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study use software SPSS type 21. The result that there is a significant relationship between the role of parents in providing tutoring with learning outcomes of 4th grade students at 188 Pekanbaru state elementary school with a contribution of 13%.Key Words: The role of parents, tutoring of learning, learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: SAS method (Structural Analytical Synthetic) in beginning reading  skill improvement in I Grade Primary School. This research aim to describe: a step-by-step method of SAS (Structural Analytical Synthetic) that can improve beginning reading and improved reading skills beginning first grade elementary school students. This research uses classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each cycle includes the planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results include: the use of measures SAS method can work well and improve the I grade read the beginning of elementary school. Background problem in this research is the low reading skills of students who do not reach KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria) established by the school which is 72 to 21 the number of students who do not reach KKM 11 students (52.3%) and who completed 9 students (42, 8%). Based on the problem, the researchers conducted a PTK using SAS. In using this method, the quality of the learning process has increased. Based on data from this study can be seen from the observation of student activity in the first cycle with a percentage of 60% the first meeting enough categories, 75% meeting II both categories increased in the second cycle to 80% in the first meeting either category, and 95% meeting II category very well. Activities of teachers also increased from 75% in both categories dipertemuan I, 80% II meeting both categories in the first cycle and to 85% with very good category at the first meeting and 90% II meeting with the category very well in the second cycle. Preliminary data as the basis of a score of 21 students averaged 67.07, and the first cycle increased to 68.72 (2.46%), on the second cycle increased to 80.80 (20.47%). From the above data it can be concluded by applying SAS can improve the results of the reading skills of students of class I SDN 88 Pekanbaru. Keywords: beggining reading skill. SAS method

Abstract

Abstrac :Science subjects in primary schools should be given with the aim that students have the ability IPA. For the Science learning outcomes need to be improved by changing the paradigm of learning in elementary education teacher centered to student centered learning. This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve learning outcomes IPA with application of learning models CTL in the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 010 Semelinang Army Peranap Indragiri Hulu subdistrict. The research was conducted on March 12, 2015 to April 9, 2015. The subjects were students of class V Elementary School 010 Semelinang Army totaling 22 people comprising 10 men and 12 women. With the formulation of the problem is the application of learning models CTL (contextual Teahcing and Learning) in the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 010 Semelinang Army Peranap Indragiri Hulu subdistrict. This thesis presents the results of student learning gained through daily test I in the first cycle and the second daily test on the second cycle. In the first cycle an average of 69.10 learning outcomes in the second cycle student learning outcomes on average 76.37, so the average increase of 7.27 students. Mastery learning of individuals in the first cycle, there are 15 people (68.18%), the second cycle, there are 20 people (90.90%). The average activity of teachers in the first cycle was 69.64% with the category enough, on the second cycle was 89.29% with the good category. The average activity of students in the first cycle was 71.43% with the good category, the second cycle was 89.29%. From this study it can be concluded that the application of learning models CTL (contextual Teahcing and Learning) can improve learning outcomes IPA at Elementary School fifth grade students of the District Land 010 Semelinang Peranap school year 2014/2015.Keywords: CTL (contextual Teahcing and Learning) and learning outcomes.

Abstract :This research is based on the averaga much lawer student learn science bg the number of student who did not complete that 22 student 73 %. The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes by implementing the model study contextual teaching and learning can improve that result learn the class student Ivso elementary school country 004 Sungai Lala? This research method use the research of class action. This research is with two cycle with every cycle twice meeting and once daily restaling. This research entangle the class student IV elementary school country 004 Sungai Lala as much 30 student people.This action is from Maret until April 2015. Result learn the IPA obtained from data of early horizontaly flatten 59,47 categorize less completely minimize bs with the standard KKM. At cycle of I UH I obtained to flatten to flatten the result learen the IPA 64,77 kategorize enaugh,hereinafter at cycle of II UH II of result of learning to mount to return to become 73,83 categorize good ness. Abstract

Abstract : The study design was a classroom action research (CAR). Research was conducted in two cycles of four meetings and two replications of material daily. Background of the problem in this study is the low student learning outcomes fourth grade in public primary schools 016 kusau makmur with an average value of 66.17% of 34 students reached the KKM beelom as many as 22 people (64,70%). KKM while reaching only 12 people (35,30%). formulation of the problem in this research ?is the research debate active method can improve learning outcomes of students on the subjects of Civics fourth grade in public primary schools 016 Kusau Makmur ??. The purpose of this research to improve the learning outcomes of students in learning civics by applying an active debate. The experiment was conducted in the second semester in March 2016 of the school year 2015/2016 subjects were fourth grade in public primary schools 016 Kusau Makmur by the number of students 34 people, consisting of 13 boys and 21 girls. Data collection instrument in this study is the observation sheet and the teacher and the student achievement test. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of active learning methods debates can improve learning outcomes of students of fourth grade in primary school 016 Kusau Makmur Tapung Hulu district Kampar regency. Key Words: Active debate methods, learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve learning outcomes IPS Elementary School fourth grade students Gedabu 011 Talang District of Kulim Rafts in the academic year 2014/2015. Subjects in this study were students in fourth grade Gedabu State 011 Talang District of Kulim Rafts Indragiri the number of students 22 students, consisting of 15 men and 7 women. This study is a Class Action Research (Classroom Actions Research) which comprises two cycles. Based on the results of research and data analysis known that an increase in the percentage of activity for teachers to get an average of 79.37% success criteria very well. Implementation of the second cycle of activities for teachers to get an average of 91.25% success criteria very well. Implementation of the first cycle of activity students gain an average of 73.12% success with both criteria. Implementation of the second cycle of activity students gain an average of 89.37% success criteria very well. before implementation of cooperative learning model type STAD was 65.59 from 22 people who follow replicates only 8 people were completely and 14 students have not completed the completeness percentage of 36.36% with less qualification. In the first cycle UH 1 daily value increased to 75.29 students who have increased as much as 14.78%, the number of students who completed 9 students. In the second cycle increased the average value of as much as 13.28% to 85.29. All students completed the implementation of the UH 2 with a percentage of 100%. Class declared complete when it reaches ? 80 of the number of students who reach the specified KKM is ? 70. It can be concluded that cooperative learning model Student Team Achievement Devision (STAD) can improve learning outcomes IPS Elementary School fourth grade students Gedabu 011 Talang District of Kulim raft.Keywords: Cooperative Learning Model Student Team Achievement Devision ( STAD ) , IPS Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : The problem this research is the students achievement of social fourth graderes studies still low with an average value of 63,2 and minimum completeness criteria (KKM) social studies is 70. Between students, amounting to 25 people only 10 students who achieve classical KKM with 40%. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which aims to improve the student achievement of social studies class IV at SDN 006 Muda Setia Sekijang with implementation cooperative learning model type Make a Match. Formulation of the problem : Is the implementation of cooperative learning model type Make a Match can improve students achievement of social studies at SDN 006 Muda Setia Sekijang. The research was conducted on November 14, 2013 to November 28, 2013 by 2 cycles. Subjects were students of SDN 006 Muda Setia Sekijang, totaling 25 people who use the data source. The data collection instruments in this thesis is a teacher and students activities sheets and students achievement. This thesis presents the results obtained each day before the action an improve in base score cycle with the average being 63,2. In the first cycle improve an average of 71,2 with increase big as 12,65% and an improve in the second with an average of 80,4 with increase big as 27,21%. Activities of the teacher in the learning process in the cycle I with the first meeting of an average of 62,5% and a second meeting improve to 70,83%. Cycle II first meeting of an average of 91,66% and a second meeting improve to 95,33%. Results of data analysis of students activities in the cycle I with the first meeting of an average of 58,33% and a second meeting improve to 62,5%. Cycle II first meeting of an average of 79,16% and a second meeting improve to 91,66%. Results in the class IV at SDN 006 Muda Setia Sekijang that the implementation of cooperative learning model of Make a Match can improve the student achievement of social studiesat fourth graderes SDN 006 Muda Setia Sekijang.Key Words: Make a Match, fourth graderes Students Achievement.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of the low ability to read the beginning of students, so that the SAS method is applied so that it can help students in the success of reading the beginning. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in pretest and posttest by applying structural analytical synthetic(SAS) in reading the beginning of elementary school students and to determine the increase in pretest and posttest in reading the beginning of students. This type of research is a pre-experimental type of pretest-posttest one group design, which is an experiment that is only carried out in only one group, without comparison. This study was conducted in class 1 with 34 students. Based on the results of the study it was found that the average reading ability before being treated (pretest) was 51.77 while the average reading ability after treatment (posttest) was 88.41 and the average value of gain normality was 0.76 which including the high category and the results of hypothesis testing using t-test with tcount=51.080 and ttable=2.0345 can be concluded tcount>ttable, then reject H0 means significant. This means that there is an increase in initial reading in class I students who are significant between before (pretest) and after (posttest) applying the Structural Analytical Synthetic (SAS) method.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the fact that the learning outcomes of students in science subjects low it can be seen from the symptoms is of 20 students, 12 people or 61% of students do not reach KKM set is 65. As many as 12 people or 63% of students no homework the teacher. When given exercises 13 people or 66% of students do with cheating, of 10 test questions only 5 to 6 questions answered correctly. The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes fifth grade science students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 020 Padang Mutung by implementing cooperative learning model type group investigation. This research is a classroom action research conducted in Class IV 020 SD Negeri Padang Mutung Kampar District Kampar District, Riau Province. Research instruments consisted of a Learning Tool used in this research is guided by the Education Unit Level Curriculum (SBC), known as Curriculum 2006 learning device consists of a syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheets and observation sheet. Based on data analysis of student activity first meeting sikuls I average student activity 54% with the classification of "High Enough" at the second meeting of the average activity increased to 62% with the classification of "High Enough" At the third meeting of the second cycle the average student activity 75 % on the classification of "High" and the fourth meeting increased compared with the previous meetings by an average of 83% of student activity with the classification of "Very High". In the first cycle, it is known that the number of students who reached the KKM is 15 students (75%) of 20 students. Improved student learning outcomes in the first cycle to reach (33%). In the second cycle, the number of students who reached the KKM amounted to 17 (85%) of 20 students. This means that an increase in student science learning outcomes of the first cycle.
