Abstract

Untuk mengembalikan kinerja sektor riil yang mampu mengatasi perubahan dan persaingan yang terjadi, maka Bank Indonesia (berdasarkan UU No. 23 Tahun 1999) tidak diperbolehkan melakukan kegiatan selain di bidang moneter dan pengawasan perbankan. Dengan demikian, pembiayaan dan penjaminan ekspor yang selama ini dilakukan oleh Bank Indonesia dialihkan ke suatu lembaga khusus pembiayaan ekspor, yakni PT. Bank Ekspor Indonesia (Persero) atau BEI. BEI sebagai salah satu lembaga keuangan yang dipersiapkan untuk menjadi lembaga pembiayaan ekspor (Exsport Credit Agency) yang menawarkan produk penjaminan L/C impor, pembiayaan kembali L/C impor, pembiayaan kembali Kredit Modal Kerja Ekspor, dan pembiayaan kembali Diskonto Wesel Ekspor. BEI perlu mempersiapkan suatu strategi untuk mengelola berbagai produk tersebut, sehingga dapat berkontribusi satu sama lain dengan melakukan manajemen portofolio produk dan selanjutnya dapat digunakan untuk mengevaluasi strategi pemasaran ya Berdasarkan hasil kajian diperoleh bahwa strategi yang akan dilakukan bertujuan untuk lebih meningkatkan posisi perusahaan yang ada di sini. Untuk itu, di masa yang akan datang, perusahaan perlu berusaha meningkatkan pangsa pasar dengan konsentrasi pada commercially viable sector, secara kontinyu melakukan pendekatan ke JBIC (Japan Bank for Internasional Cooperation) sebagai penyandang dana untuk lebih mengoptimalkan utilisasi kuantitas pembiayaan untuk valas, menyediakan produk yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pasar, mengoptimalkan fungsi lain jasa konsultasi di bidang trade financing dan solusi masalah ekspor, serta aktif melakukan kerjasama dengan ECA (Exsport Credit Agency) luar negeri, lembaga keuangan dan pendanaan internasional lainnya dengan melakukan aliansi strategi dengan prinsip cooperative advantage. Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Analyze the development of Indonesian CPO export competitiveness in the global market from 1998 to 2017 (2) Analyze factors affecting the competitiveness of Indonesian CPO export in the global market from 1998 to 2017. The data used is time series spanning 20 years (1998-2017). The competitiveness of Indonesian CPO export in the global market is presented descriptively in the form of images, while affecting factors are analyzed using a multiple linear regression model. The results show that Indonesian CPO has comparative and competitive competitiveness in the global market. The results of multiple linear regression tests indicate that the factors that comparatively affect the competitiveness of Indonesian CPO exports in the global market are domestic CPO production, global CPO prices and petroleum prices while factors that competitively affect competitiveness are ??oil palm plantation area, Malaysian export volume, soybean oil price and exchange rates. Factors that positively impact Indonesian CPO competitiveness are domestic CPO production, oil prices and the ??oil palm plantation area. Improving these variables will increase the competitiveness of Indonesian CPO exports, while an increase in global CPO prices, soybean oil prices and the exchange rate will reduce the competitiveness of CPO exports. The variable that has no significant effect is the export volume of Malaysia.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the factors that influence the demand for rubber, as well as to analyze demand response for rubber in Jambi Province. This research is using simultaneous equations through 3 Stage Least Square (3 SLS) estimation method. The result showed that factors influence the demand for rubber in Jambi is bokar prices, demand for rubber in South Sumatra, Indonesia rubber consumption, the price of synthetic rubber and rubber demand in Jambi at the prior period. While the response of demand for rubber in Jambi is inelastic as changing all the explanatory variables in the short term and long term.

Abstract

As a producer of rice, Indonesia still import rice to meet domestic rice consumption. This is not appropriate with data that shows that domestic rice production has a surplus. Surplus rice production, the government should be able to meet domestic demand for rice without the need to import rice. Therefore, this study aims to: 1) describe the development of rice imports in Indonesia and the factors that influence them, 2) analyze the factors that influence rice imports in Indonesia. Variables used in this research are inflation, gross domestic product, land area, rice production, direct and indirect consumption, supply of rice, population, domestic rice prices, exchange rate and world rice prices period 1996-2016. The data used are secondary data obtained from FAO, COMTRADE UN, BPS and Directorate General of Food. The analytical method used is an approach using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that rice imports in Indonesia fluctuate tend to increase due to the influence of macroeconomic variables with moderating variables, both directly and indirectly. Macroeconomic variables with moderating variables in rice farming have no significant effect on rice imports. While macroeconomic variables with moderating variables demand for rice significantly influence rice imports. Macroeconomic variables directly influence the import of rice. Abstract

Coffee is a source of foreign exchange, a source of income for farmers and industrial raw materials producers. This study is aimed to describ competitiveness and to analyze the factors influencing the competitiveness of Indonesian coffee in international markets in Year 1996-2015. The data used was 20 years-time series data. The competitiveness of Indonesian coffee exports in the international market is presented descriptively and the factors that influence the competitiveness of Indonesian coffee in the international market are analyzed by using multiple linear regression models. The results show that Indonesian coffee was competitive both in comparative and competitive in the international market. Coffee export volume and domestic coffee production have a positive effect, while Indonesia's domestic consumption and GDP have a negative effect on the competitiveness of Indonesian coffee exports in the international market. Increasing competitiveness of Indonesian coffee exports is obtained through increased quality and quantity of coffee production. The increase in export volume can be done through export policies in the form of export subsidies and removing export barriers. The increase in export volume will increase export competitiveness in the international market.

Abstract

Indonesia is the second rubber producing country in the world after Thailand, faces more intense competition with the other rubber exporting countries, such as Vietnam, India and China. The United States of America is the main destination for Indonesian rubber exports. Despite fluctuations in the number of exports, especially the decline in exports in all countries due to the global crisis in 2009, until 2015 the average Indonesian exports increased. The paper objective is examining the determination of Indonesian rubber exports to the main export destination country. By using secondary data in the Gravity model it is found that the variables of GDP, total exports and boundaries have a significant influence. There is a negative relationship between distance and population size in the flow of trade. In the future Indonesia needs to diversify its rubber export destination and qualification to countries that still experience under and overtraded conditions.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk 1) Memberikan kontribusi yang berguna khususnya bagi petani yang terkait langsung maupun investor yang akan mengembangkan usaha berbahan baku kentang. 2) Meningkatkan minat petani komoditas kentang untuk meningkatkan produksi lebih banyak dan meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kecamatan Jangkat. 3) Menjadikan Kecamatan Jangkat contoh bagi petani di daerah yang lain bahkan dicontoh petani komoditas lainnya. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan bulan Maret sampai Bulan Mei Tahun 2019. Penentuan lokasi pengabdian ini dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive) dengan pertimbangan Kecamatan Jangkat sebagai kecamatan penghasil kentang terbesar. Kegiatan pengabdian dimulai dari pemberian kuesioner awal tentang pentingnya melakukan sortir. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengetahuan petani mengenai apa itu sortir, bagaimana melakukan sortir yang benar, dan manfaat dari sortir itu sendiri. Pemberian sosialisasi tentang pentingnya sortir. hal ini bertujuan memberikan informasi mengenai sortir sehingga petani memahami pentingnya melakukan kegiatan sortir guna menarik petani untuk mempraktikkan langsung. Melakukan praktik langsung bersama petani pada saat panen raya. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengawasi kegiatan sortir yang dilakukan petani agar mengetahui pemahaman petani dalam mempraktikkan sortir setelah mengikuti sosialisasi sebelumnya. Memberikan kuesioner akhir. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kegiatan pengabdian dan mengetahui pemahaman petani serta pendapat petani bagaimana kegiatan sortir, apakah sortir perlu dilakukan dan dilanjutkan.
