Abstract

  Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pengenalan sains sederhana melalui metode demonstrasi di TK Kristen Maranatha Pontianak Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan langkah-langkah yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Sedangkan alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pedoman observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan yang cukup berarti pada kemampuan pengenalan sains sederhana dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi pada hasil penelitian. Peningkatan ini dilihat dari hasil belajar anak diantaranya kemampuan anak mengamati benda yang terapung dan tenggelam sebanyak 10 anak (50%) Berkembang Sesuai Harapan, sedangkan kemampuan anak menyebutkan benda yang terapung dan tenggelam sebanyak 14 anak (70%) Berkembang Sesuai Harapan, kemudian kemampuan anak mengelompokkan benda yang dapat terapung dan tenggelam sebanyak 18 anak (90%) Berkembang Sesuai Harapan. Dengan demikian pembelajaran melalui metode demonstrasi mampu meningkatkan kemampuan pengenalan sains sederhana di TK Kristen Maranatha Pontianak Utara.   Kata kunci: Pengenalan Sains Sederhana, Metode Demonstrasi Abstract: The purpose of this research is to improve the ability of simple scientific recognition through demonstration method in kindergarten Maranatha North Pontianak. This research uses descriptive method of research is a form of class action (PTK) with the steps: planning, action, observation and reflection. While the data collection tool used in this study are guidelines for observation, interviews, and documentation. This increase is seen from the results of children's learning including the child's ability to observe objects floating and sinking as many as 10 children (50%) Developing accordance Hope, while the ability of the child mentioned objects floating and sinking as many as 14 children (70%) Developing accordance Hope, and then the ability of children grouping objects that could float and sink as many as 18 children (90%) Developing accordance Hope. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang peranan guru dalam menanamkan perilaku sopan santun pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Assalam Pontianak Barat Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah guru kelas B2 yang berjumlah satu orang. Setelah data terkumpul, dilakukan penyajian data untuk kemudian ditarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan peran guru sebagai inspirator dalam menanamkan perilaku sopan santun yaitu guru menunjukkan perilaku sopan santun dirinya kepada anak serta menjelaskan dan memberikan nasehat kepada anak. Peran guru sebagai model dalam menanamkan perilaku sopan santun yaitu guru merupakan  panutan serta menjadi contoh yang baik bagi anak didik yang terkait dengan perilaku sopan santun. Peran guru sebagai motivator dalam menanamkan perilaku sopan santun yaitu guru selalu memotivasi atau mendorong anak untuk lebih baik dengan memberikan pujian atau reword kepada anak. Kata Kunci: Peranan Guru, Perilaku Sopan Santun, Anak Usia Dini Abstract: This study aims to describe the role of teachers in imparting behavioral manners in children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Assalam West Pontianak in West Kalimantan. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. Subjects were classroom teachers B2 which amounted to one person. Once data is collected, made the presentation of data to then be deduced. The results of the study describes the role of teachers as inspiration in instilling behavioral manners that teachers behave in manners himself to the child and explain and give advice to children. The role of the teacher as a model for instilling manners of behavior that the teacher is a role model and a good example for the students related to the behavior manners. The role of the teacher as motivator in instilling behavioral manners that the teacher always motivate or encourage children to be better by giving praise or reword to children. Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the importance of introduction of English Vocabulary by teachers in early childhood. This research uses qualitative approach and descriptive method. This study aims to obtain information about the learning activities of English vocabulary introduction in early childhood from the preparation stage, implementation to the evaluation stage. This research was conducted at TK Kristen Immanuel I Pontianak Selatan research subjects of A6 group English teachers and Head of Kindergarten. Based on the results of research and data analysis concluded that: 1. Planning learning activities introduction of English Vocabulary through audio visual media is categorized well, because the teacher has done the planning by looking at the needs and abilities of children. 2. Implementation of learning activities to introduce English Vocabulary through audio visual media is categorized well, because in the implementation of teacher learning activities have used the media and how to deliver an interesting so easy to understand the child. 3. Evaluation of learning activities of English Vocabulary introduction through audio visual media is categorized well, because the teacher has done evaluation when the learning activity took place and after the learning activity is completed. Keywords: English Vocabulary, Audiovisual Media

Abstract

Abstrak :Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendiskripsikan apakah pembelajaran bahasa Inggris melaluiTotal Physical Response Method dapat meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris pada anak usia 5-6 tahun kelompok Autumn di TK Town For Kids Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, dengan jumlah siswa 20 anak. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus dilakukan dalam tiga kali pertemuan. Pengumpulan data berupa lembar observasi guru, anak dan dokumentasi. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan cara perhitungan persentase. Kesimpulan hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1)Rencana pembelajaran yang tertuang dalam RKH dengan menggunakan TPR dalam IPKG 1 Siklus I diperoleh 71,66% dan IPKG 2 Siklus II diperoleh 76,66%. 2) Membuat langkah-langkah pembelajaran, 3) Respon yang ditunjukkananak sangat baik dan anak sangat tertarik dalam mempelajari kosakata bahasa Inggris melalui TPR. Adapun saran pada penelitian ini adalah sebaiknya media/alat yang digunakan harus menarik dan tidak membahayakan anakdan mudah diterima oleh anak.   Kata kunci: Penguasaan Kosakata, Bahasa Inggris, TotalPhysical Response Abstract :This study aims to identify and describe whether by introducing the English language through the Total Physical Respons method canimprove the recognition vocabulary of English children aged 5-6 years old Group kindergarten Autumn Town For Kids Pontianak. The research method used was Classroom Action Research toward 20 students. The research was done in 2 cycles, each cycle requires three meetings. Data collection is in the form of teachers/students observation and documentation. The data process is done through percentage computation. The result of the research concludes that 1)the lesson plan contained in RKH by using TPRin IPKG 1 cycle 1 acquires 71,66%, while IPKG 2 cycle 2 acquire 76,66%. 2) creating learning procedures, 3) respond shown by children is good and children are interested in learning vocabularies through TPR. It is suggested that the teaching aid used is harmless, interesting, and acceptable forchildren. Abstract

AbstractThe Purpose of this research is to know about the differentciation of children confidence before using show and tell method and knowing the confidence differencitation before and after using show and tell method and knowing the confidence differenciation before and after using show and tell method. This kind of research is experimental research method with one-group pretest-posttest design. The data experiment full filled with observation and documentation. The sample of this research is 4-5 years old children. Based on data analysis the research result titled The Effect Of The Show And Tell Method On Self Confidence in Childern Aged 4-5 Years In The Nursery Kindergartens TK Negeri Pembina Kecamatan Tebas is totally significant, because for the pretest score average is 17,7, and the posttest average is 10,60. And then the result from the table (8.271>2.0518) it means that there has after threatment given. Then to know how big the show and tell method the self confidence it has done ?effect size? test. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to defermine differences in childern?s confidence. Before znd after the storytelling method is applied, whether there are differences in childern?s confidence before and after the medhod of storytelling is applied. This type of research is research using experimental methods with one-group pretest- posttest design, datacollection using observation and documentation activities.The sample in this study was children aged 5-6 years in group B  consisting of 6 girls and 8 boys.  Based on the analysis of data that has been done, the results of a study entitled the effect of the method of telling stories on the confidence of chidern aged 5-6 years in the TK Islam Semesta Khatulistiwa Pontianak, there is very big influence it is evidenced by the acquisition of the average child at pretest which is 7,071 and the average value at posttest is 10.  Then from the results the t-test calculation is done an the result the show that t-hitung > t-tabel 7,614> 1,604. Which means that there is a difference in childern?s confidence. After being treated using the storytelling medhod. Then to find out how much influence the medhod of storytelling on a child?sconfidenceistested for effect size and result obtained are 2, 035> 1,00 which means that the medhod of storytelling has a strong influence on the confidence of children aged 5-6 years at TK Islam Semesta Khatulistiwa Pontianak and in the strong categoryKeywords: Children Aged 5-6 Years, Self Confidence, Storytelling Medhod.

Abstract

AbstractThis research was aimed to describe the implementation of the assignment methodfor cognitive development on 5-6-year-old children in the Kindergarten of Kristen Immanuel I Pontianak Selatan. The research method used was descriptive with aqualitative approach. The subject of research was the teachers and studentsof Kindergarten of Kristen Immanuel I Pontianak Selatan. The data were collectedusing observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The instruments used for data collection were observation guidelines, interview sheets, and documentation tools. The findings showed that the implementation of the selected method has been employed in accordance with the steps in carrying out the activities and tasks given related to the cognitive development of children. Thus, in applying the assignment method, it is suggested that teachers should pay more attention to children who tend to be busy themselves, provide a variety of media so that children do not feel bored, and add play tools that support the learning. Keywords: Assignment Method,  Cognitive Development

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to determine the increase in fine motor development in art learning through finger painting techniques in children aged 5-6 years in Southeast Pontianak Islamiyah Kindergarten. The general objective in this study was to describe the learning of painting through finger painting techniques to improve fine motor development in children aged 5-6 years. The research method used was descriptive with a qualitative approach and type of case study research. The data sources of this study included 1 teacher and child group B3 in Islamiyah, which amounted to 16 people as subjects. After data is collected, data is presented to draw conclusions. From the results of the study, it was found that painting through finger painting techniques to improve fine motor development had increased, namely that children could flex their fingers. both with 75% BSH and 25% BSB results. exploring the percentage of MB 37.5%, BSH 43.75% and BSB 18.75%, and children can also do neat activities from the results of the percentage of MB 25%, BSH 68.75% and BSH 6.25%. Increased learning activities in children's fine motor development is to stimulate the child's small muscles such as fingers and stimulate eye and hand coordination.Keywords: Learning art painting, finger painting technique and increasing fine motor development

Abstract

Anak akan optimal dalam belajar apabila pembelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru sesuai dengan karakteristik perkembangannya. Proses pembelajaran itu sendiri terdiri dari komponen yang berbeda-beda,  yang saling terkait satu sama lain. Komponen yang dijadikan  fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah proses pembelajaran, yaitu bagaimana proses penyampaian materi pembelajaran dilakukan oleh guru di PAUD.  Barbara K. Given dalam bukunya Brain Based Teaching (2007) mengatakan bahwa pendidikan lebih dari sekedar meraih standar pembelajaran tertentu, pendidikan identik dengan mengembangkan keinginan untuk belajar, memahami cara belajar dan menerapkan praktek pengajaran berdasarkan bagaimana sesungguhnya otak berfungsi. Mengacu pada pendapat Barbara diatas, proses penyampaian materi pembelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru kepada anak didiknya di TK hendaknya disesuaikan dengan bagaimana cara  kerja otak anak dalam belajar. Pendidikan memiliki tujuan mengoptimalkan penggunaan otak. Tidak saja untuk aspek rasional-kognitif, tetapi  juga emosi, fisik dan spiritual. Otak yang optimal adalah otak yang semua potensinya teroptimalkan dengan baik. Untuk dapat mengoptimalkan kerja otak dengan cara yang natural, Barbara menyebutnya sistem pembelajaran alamiah otak, yaitu sistem pembelajaran  emosional, sosial, kognitif, fisik dan reflektif. Kelima sistem pembelajaran alamiah otak tersebut merupakan satu kesatuan yang harus ada dalam sistem pembelajaran yang disampaikan oleh guru kepada anak didiknya. Penelitian  yang berkaitan dengan bagaimana kinerja otak anak usia dini dalam proses pembelajaran penting dilakukan untuk mengoptimalkan hasil pembelajaran pada anak usia ini, oleh karena itu peneliti tertarik untuk mengetahui sejauhmana pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh para guru TK dengan metode deskriptif dan menggunakan angket dan lembar wawancara sebagai alat pengumpul datanya. Metode analisis yang yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif persentase. Hasil  dari penelitian ini menunjukkan para guru di TK Mujahidin Pontianak memiliki pengetahuan yang sangat baik terhadap metode pembelajaran berbasis kinerja otak.
