Abstract

Abstract: The objective of research was to find out: (1) which ones having better achievement, the students using TPS (Think Pair Share) learning with CTL approach or STAD (Students Teams Achievement Divisions) cooperative learning model with CTL approach or direct learning, (2) which ones having better learning achievement, the students with kinesthetic or visual or auditory learning style, (3) in each learning style, which ones having better achievement, the students using TPS (Think Pair Share) learning with CTL approach or STAD (Students Teams Achievement Divisions) cooperative learning model with CTL approach or direct learning, and (4) in each learning model, which ones having better learning achievement, the students with kinesthetic or visual or auditory learning style. The population of research was all VIII graders of Public Junior High schools in Bojonegoro Regency consisting of 55 schools. The sample was taken using cluster random sampling. The sample consisted of 304 students divided into experiment I, experiment II, and control groups. The conclusions of research were: (1) TPS CTL learning provided learning achievement better than STAD CTL and direct, but STAD CTL learning provided learning achievement as same as the direct learning did. (2) The students with kinesthetic learning style had learning achievement better than those with visual and auditory learning styles. But, the students with visual and those with auditory learning styles had equal learning achievement. (3) a. In kinesthetic learning style, all learning models provided the same learning achievement. b. In visual learning style, TPS CTL learning provided learning achievement better than STAD CTL. Meanwhile, direct learning provided the learning achievement as same as the TPS CTL and STAD CTL learning models did. c. In auditory learning style, all learning models provided the same learning achievement. (4) a. In TPS CTL learning model, the students with kinesthetic learning style had better achievement than those with auditory learning style. The students with visual learning style had learning achievement equal to those having kinesthetic and auditory learning styles, b. In STAD CTL learning model, the students with kinesthetic learning style had better achievement than those with visual and auditory learning styles. However, the students with visual learning style had learning achievement equal to those with auditory learning style, c. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembentukan karakter siswa melalui mata pelajaran pendidikan Kemuhammadiyahan dan pendidikan akhlak di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta dan SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kota Tidore. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif naturalistik dan holistik. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Februari-April 2011. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta dan SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kota Tidore. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kajian dokumen. Observasi digunakan untuk memperoleh data tentang kegiatan transformasi nilai Kemuhammadiyahan dan akhlak, wawancara digunakan untuk memperoleh data tentang strategi pelaksanaan pendidikan kemuhammadiyahan dan akhlak, sedangkan dokumentasi berupa program materi untuk melengkapi hasil observasi dan wawancara. Tekhnik pemeriksaan dan keabsahan data dengan cara triangulasi data dan tekhnik analisis data secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut. (1). Nilai-nilai moral dalam pendidikan Kemuhammadiyahan dan akhlak yang membentuk karakter siswa SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta dan SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kota Tidore merupakan seperangkat nilai moral yang ditetapkan melalui muktamar.               (2). Sekalipun terdapat kesamaan dalam materi pendidikan karakter akan tetapi antara SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta dan SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kota Tidore memiliki perbedaan dalam strategi penerapan. (3). Pendidikan Kemuhammadiyahahn dan akhlak sangat efektif dalam membentuk karakter siswa SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta dan SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kota Tidore.Kata kunci:  Karakter siswa, kemuhammadiyahan dan akhlak, SMP Muhammadiyah.

Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas tentang peranan lembaga perbankan syariah dalam  rangka  mendukung  perekonomian  Indonesia. Besarnya porsi pembiayaan yang disalurkan ke sektor Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah  (UMKM) memberikan  bukti komitmen  bank syariah  terhadap  pemberdayaan   ekonomi   rakyat.  Penelitian ini menggunakan   pendekatan kualitatif    deskriptif.  Dalam menganalisis  data, peneliti  menggunakan  metode triangulasi, triangulasi data dengan teori dan membandingkan data diamati dengan  wawancara.  Hasil penelitian  ini menunjukkan  bahwa pembiayaan   syariah diarahkan menuju pembiayaan  dengan prinsip bagi hasil yang menekankan  pola hubungan  kemitraan antara pihak bank dan nasabah. Prinsip bagi  hasil  dapat dilakukan dalam empat akad, yaitu mudharabah,  musyarakah, muzara’ah, dan musaqah.Kata kunci: pembiayaan, bank, pemberdayaanTHE ROLE OF SHARIA BANKING IN MSMEs FINANCE. This article discusses about the role of Islamic banking institution  to support Indonesian economy. The financial portions transmitted to the micro business sector (Small and Medium Enterprises MSMEs) proves   the  commitment    of  shari’ah   banking   in  economic empowerment. This study applies descriptive-qualitative approach. Data are analyzed through triangulation method, comparing data with theory, and the result of interview. Result of this study shows that syariah finance is conducted in accordance with the principle of profit sharing emphasizing on bank and customer’s partnership. Profit sharing may be conducted in four agreements: mudharabah, musyarakah, muzara’ah and musaqah.Keywords: finance, bank, empowerment

Abstract

 There  is a lots of competitions in the business of modern market and the success of Giant Mall Olympic Garden (MOG) to survive and thrive can not be separated from the strategy to market its products including the canned fish products. One of product marketing strategies is marketing mix used by the company as a mean of assessment to identify the consumers decision  in order to purchase the canned fish products. This study aimed is to analyze the effect of the marketing mix simultaneously toward the decision to purchase the canned fish products at Giant (MOG) and to analyze the variables of  significant marketing mix as well as the variable of dominant in partial (respectively) on purchasing decisions to buy the canned fish products at Giant (MOG). The type of research is explanatory research. The sampling technique used is nonprobability sampling  with the incidental sampling method. Determination of the number of samples is using a linear time function, which obtained the number of sample 75. The data was collected by using questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis was performed by using multiple linear regression analysis. Data processing was performed by using IBM SPSS 21. The results showed that the marketing mix gives influences on purchasing decisions to buy the canned fish products at Giant MOG. The marketing mix consists of product, price, promotion, place, people, physical evidence, process, and honesty gave significant influential based on the value of R2 entirely in which able to explain the purchasing decision up to 84.2%, while the 15.8% is explained by other variables outside of the model studied. Variable price, honesty, product, and people those are the variables that significantly influence purchasing decisions, meanwhile the remaining variables promotion, place, physical evidence and process does not significantly on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The study aims to describe: (1) public service for elementary education in rural areas; (2) the meaning of education and the implementation of elementary education in the people of rural areas; and (3) the life and meaning of poverty for people of rural areas. The study was etnographic research. The subjects were the providers and users of educational service. The research concludes that: (1) educational service in rural areas has not been coordinated and integrated both vertically and horizontally, so that the service elements have not been maximum in providing educational service; (2) the implementation of education is influenced by the surrounding environments (policy, community, and nature) so that its condition or the problems emerging in the lower level is a reflection of that in the upper level. People in rural areas regard education as a symbol of profession and self-actualization within the children’s selves in order that the children would show respect to their parents, would not destroy the nature, have noble characteristics and be smart persons for their own sake in the future; (3) physically people in rural areas might be described as a community that lacks facilities including transportation, highway systems, water, electricity, and market for trading the harvest. On the other hand, mentally, people in rural areas might be described as a community that is fond of having aids, enjoys the final products, is lazy and dependent on the nature. People in rural areas regard their poverty based on physical indicators (the possession of luxurious goods, rice fields, livestock, income, and housings) and non-physical indicators (the dependency on the nature and absence of education).

Abstract

The study aims to develop an instrument used to measure  faith of the students of Islamic senior high schools. The study was a research and development study consisting of three steps: pre development, development process, and presentation. The quantitative data analysis was to test the validity and reliability of the instrument and to test the model fit through the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) using LISREL 8.80 Program. The results of the study show that: (1) the faith instrument of the study is an inventory model of summated rating scale containing 113 items named as Islamic Faith Scale; (2) the instrument validity is considered as the loading factor value (the lowest loading factor value is 0.47 and the highest is 0.89). The instrument reliability regarded as the coefficient of the construct reliability is > 0.7, (the coefficient of reliability construct of tashdiq al-qalb is 0.847, and the coefficient of the construct reliability of amal al-qalb is 0.999); (3) the overall model fit produces a fit model indicated by Chi Square (χ2) = 48.23, df = 64, p-value = 0.929 (p > 0.05), and Root Mean Square Error of Approximation = 0.000 (< 0.08).

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the influence of mix marketing and sharia compliance on customer’s decision in choosing Sharia bank in Kudus. It used purposive sampling method with 120 respondents. Hypothesis testing used multiple linear regression analysis. The analysis of T test showed that product influences the customer’s decision because thitung &gt; ttable (2,239&gt; 1,657), Price influences the customer’s decision because tcount &gt; ttable (2,563&gt; 1, 657). Place influences the customer’s decision because tcount &gt; ttable (2,002&gt; 1, 657). Promotion influences the  customer’s  decision  because  tcount  &gt;  ttable  (4.436&gt;  1,657). Syariah compliance influences the customer’s decision because tcount &gt; ttable (2,072&gt; 1, 657). Based on F test, it indicated that Fcount &gt; Ftable (11 689&gt; 2.290) which means the mix marketing consists of product, price, place, promotion and Sharia compliance significantly influenced the customers’ decision in choosing sharia banks in Kudus.

Abstract

This research aimed to evaluate the implementation of Population Education in senior high school in terms of (1) learning process, (2) learning materials, (3) evaluation process, (4) course outcome, (5) teachers’ role, (6) perception of Population Education, and (7) factors supporting and inhabitting Population Education. The research subjects were one teachers’ supervisor, three teachers, and 65 students. The data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation and analyzed quantitatively using descriptive statistics. The qualitative data collected through interviews were used for deeper explanation. The research findings were: (1) the teaching process was not quite appropriate, (2) materials for Population Education were available and efficient, (3) the evaluation process was not appropriate, (4) the students were satisfied with the teachers’ role, (5) the students’ perception of Population Education was very positive, and (6) the constraints in Population Education included (a) limitation in time, (b) too many extracurricular activities, (c) rapid change of data, and (d) the validity of materials.

Abstract

The study was to develop a madrasa ibtidaiya quality evaluation model (MIQEM) for measuring the quality of madrasa ibtidaiya (MI), including the input, the process, the short-term outcome, and the long-term outcome. The method implemented in this research was research and development (R & D). The subjects of the study were the principals and teachers of state madrasa ibtidaiya. The study concluded that: (1) the a MIQEM was developed through the product selection, review and result analysis, and model draft; (2) the implementation of the developed MIQEM was done by the principals and the teachers by operating the MIQEM instrument; (3) the results of the developed MIQEM implementation showed that it could improve madrasa ibtidaiya quality; (4) the results of the model fitness test indicated that the model was fit into the data.
