Abstract

The measurement of total magnetic induction and identification of elements of iron oxideparticles (consentrate) from Southern Padang City West Sumatera has been done. Thesample was dried under sun ray prior to iron sand separator. X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) wasused to identify the elements of iron sand only from Bungus and Carolina beach, before andafter iron sand separator process. Total magnetic induction of the sample and solenoid wasmeasured by Pasco magnetic probe 2162. The solenoid was designed for 2500 wonds and 8cm long and diametre of 3 cm. The electric current was applied to the solenoid with the valueof 2-10 A. The total magnetic induction was measured in the direction of horizontal distance,namely 1-5 mm from the edge of the solenoid. The total magnetic induction values increasewhen the electric current increased and decreased when the horizontal distance is increased.

Abstract

A thin layer of Barium Strontium Titanate Ba0.15Sr0.85TiO3 (BST) was developed on a glass substrate using a sol-gel method with annealing temperatures and spin coating process at 3500 rpm for 30 seconds. The annealing temperature varied from 600oC, 650oC, and 700oC.  Characterization of optical properties was developed using UV-Vis spectroscopy to determine the energy bandgap. The values of the BST thin layer energy band at the annealing temperature were 3.55 eV, 3.32 eV, and 3.10 eV, respectively. The results indicate that the BST thin film was a semiconductor material.

Abstract

Safety driving is the right way to drive, knowing the right driving techniques, understanding and following the traffic rules so that driving will always be safe and can help to avoid traffic problems.During the year 2016-2017 there have been 2 skid tank car accident owned by PT X on the way. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between age, employment, knowledge, attitude, safety briefing, participation of safety driving training, the role of supervisor and the role of partner. This research uses quantitative research with cross sectional approach. The population of this study is all skid tank car drivers in PT X which amounted to 38 people with a total sample of 38 people. Sampling method was done by total sampling technique.The independent variables in this research are age, working period, knowledge, attitude, safety briefing, participation of safety driving training, role of supervisor and role of co-worker. and the dependent variable of safety driving practices. The result of research is 60,5% of respondent have good driving safety practice. Based on Chi-Square statistic test, the variables related to safety driving practice are knowledge (p-value: 0,033), attitude (p-value: 0,041), safety briefing (p-value: 0,024), participation of safety driving training (p- value: 0.006), and the role of supervisor (p-value: 0,024). While the unrelated variables are age (p-value: 0.775), tenure (p-value: 1,000), and the role of co-workers (p-value: 0.286). The researcher advises the driver to follow and implement the company's policy regarding safety aspects that start from the beginning before doing the job and for the company to provide training to all drivers as well as to make a list of materials and schedule of filler safety briefing activities.

Abstract

Asiatikosida merupakan komponen utama dalam  tanaman pegagan (Centella asiatica) yang mempunyai khasiat obat terutama sebagai antiinflamasi yaitu wound healing. Pembuatan obat herbal pegagan diperlukan penetapan kadar. Proses penetapan kadar harus dilakukan standarisasi untuk menjamin keseragaman kandungan zat aktif sehingga keamanan, khasiat, dan mutu obat herbal dapat terjamin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kadar asiatikosida pada ekstrak etanol 70 % pegagan dengan menggunakan metode liquid chromatography–mass spectra (LC-MS ). Pembuatan ekstrak pegagan menggunakan metode maserasi dengan pelarut  etanol 70 %. Uji kualitatif asiatikosida ekstrak etanol 70 % pegagan menggunakan kromatografi lapis tipis (KLT).  Kemudian penetapan kadar asiatikosida menggunakan metode LC-MS  termasuk validasi metode yaitu: linearitas, akurasi, presisi, selektivitas, LOD, dan LOQ. Penelitian ini menunjukkan Rf asiatikosida ekstrak pegagan pada uji KLT sebesar 0,2750. Kadar  asiatikosida dengan metode LC-MS sebesar 0,232 %. Semua parameter validasi dalam penetapan kadar asiatikosida, linearitas mempunyai nilai korelasi hubungan (r) 0,999 dengan LOD 65,6361 ppb dan LOQ 218,7869 ppb. Akurasi  (% recovery) 99,2867–105,5843 %, dan presisi (% koefisien variasi) 0,0613 – 0,2245 %. Kata kunci: Asiatikosida, Centella asiatica, LC-MS, Pegagan.

Abstract

Alauddin State Islamic University or UIN Alauddin State Islamic University is located in the university Makassar.Sebagai berinisialkan Islam, of course, this university has facilities such as a facility to worship the mosque. Amir Saud Bin Fahd Mosque Campus II Alauddin State Islamic Uinversitas is also commonly used as a place to socialize among students there. However, the area of the mosque at the State Islamic University Alauddin less well ordered. Landscaping areas such as mosques, parking lots that are not clearly make that parked vehicles do not fit in place, access to the mosque that is not directed to make the students or Jumaah not know the direction toward the mosque, which is less street furniture such as street lights, trash and furniture, as well as other landscape elements that can support student activities. To that end, the need to redesign the region Amir Saud Bin Fahd Mosque Campus II Samata Alauddin State Islamic University Gowa as the infrastructure is not only used as a place of worship, but also can serve as a place to socialize as well as ordering a science for students.

Abstract

Preeklampsia merupakan sindrom spesifikkehamilan berupa berkurangnya perfusi organ akibat vasospasme dan aktivasi endotel, yang ditandai dengan peningkatan tekanan darah dan proteinuria. Preeklampsia terjadi pada umur kehamilan diatas 20 minggu, paling banyak terlihat pada umur kehamilan 37 minggu, tetapi dapat juga timbul kapan saja. Sindrom Hemolysis Elevated Liver Enzymes Low Platelet (HELLP) Parsial yaitu bila dijumpainya satu atau dua dari ketiga parameter sindrom HELLP yaitu: Hemolysis (H), Low Trombosit counts (LP), Hemolysis + low trombosit counts (H+LP), hemolysis + elevated liver enzymes (H+EL). Metode yang digunakan adalah case report dengan analisis data primer diperoleh dari gejala, pemeriksaan fisik danPemeriksaan penunjang laboratorium menunjukkan hemoglobin: 12,9 g/dL, hematokrit: 36%, leukosit: 15.880/uL, trombosit: 157.000/uL, serum glutamic oxoloacetic tranminase: 130u/L, serum glutamic pyruvic transminase: 80 u/L, laktat dehidrogenase: 119 u/L, proteinuri 500mg/dL dan pada pemeriksaan ultrasonografi usia gestasi 29 minggu, janin tunggal hidup presentsi kepala, berat janin 1193 gram, ketuban cukup.Terdapat faktor-faktor yang berhubungan erat dengan timbulnya penyakit preeklamsia pada pasien ini, yaitu ketidak tahuan terhadap penyakit dan obesitas pada pasien. Pada kasus ini dipilih tatalaksana konservatif karena pada pasien kehamilan pretrem kurang dari 37minggu tanpa disertai tanda-tanda impending eklamsia dengan keadaan janin baik. Abstract

Mengacu pada kebutuhan manusia, maka tujuan-tujuan yang hendak dicapai olehsebagian masyarakat melalui aktivitas olahraga futsal diantaranya untuk memenuhi kebutuhankebutuhanhidup seperti kebutuhan fisiologis, rasa aman, harga diri, cinta kasih danketergantungan, aktualisasi diri, dan berprestasi. Beragamnya tujuan yang menyebabkanpartisipasi seseorang dalam suatu kegiatan menandakan adanya dorongan yang cukup besarsehingga orang tersebut rela meluangkan waktunya untuk melakukan aktivitas yangdiinginkannya. Hal ini pun menggambarkan adanya hukum aksi-reaksi yang mendasariseseorang melakukan suatu aktivitas. Oleh karena itu motivasi dan partisipasi apa yangdominan melatar belakangi aktivitas olahraga masyarakat dan bagaimana keterkaitannya?Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif.Populasi penelitian yang dijadikan sebagai sumber data yaitu peserta latihan olahraga futsal digelanggang olahraga futsal planet dago sebanyak 200 orang. Sedangkan sampel yangdigunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 40 orang yang diperoleh dengan cara acak (randomizesampling). Instrumen penelitian ini adalah angket mengenai motivasi dan partisipasi. Teknikanalisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik korelasi.Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan dan analisis data, maka kesimpulan dari penelitian iniadalah sebagai berikut: 1) Motivasi yang lebih dominan mempengaruhi partisipasi masyarakatdalam melakukan aktivitas olahraga futsal di Kota Bekasi adalah motivasi untuk memenuhikebutuhan ketergantungan dan cinta kasih. 2) Ciri-ciri partisipasi yang lebih dominan munculdalam aktivitas olahraga futsal adalah memberikan tanggapan. 3) Terdapat hubungan yangpositif dan siginifikan antara motivasi dengan partisipasi masyarakat dalam aktivitas olahragafutsal di Kota Bekasi .

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know how big the role of mastery of knowledge and science process skills to improve scientific creativity, using C3PDR teaching model, that is teaching model that encourage and utilize knowledge mastery, science process skill, creative thinking technique and motivation to improve students scientific creativity. The data used are the results of pre-test and post-test of: the mastery of knowledge, scientific process skills and scientific creativity, as a result of the implementation of the model conducted in the 2015/2016 learning year. The sample of this research is 160 students of 8th grade divided into 5 classes in two schools in Samarinda city. The magnitude of the role is expressed by the coefficient of determination (r2) and the probability value (p). Scores of the mastery of knowledge, scientific process skills and scientific creativity are grouped into 5 levels. Data were analyzed using Kendall Tau test b. The results showed: 1) mastery of knowledge plays a significant role to increase of scientific creativity by 30% indicated by the mode r2> 0.3 and p mode <0.0001, in the weak category, 2) the science process skills play a significant role of 20% indicated by the mode r2> 0.20 and p mode <0.0001, in the weak category. Mastery of knowledge that plays a role in scientific creativity is the mastery of knowledge more broadly and in more detail. The science process skills that plays a role in scientific creativity is of determining the variables. How the role of mastery of knowledge and skills of scientific processes in enhancing scientific creativity is discussed in this article.

Abstract

Perikanan bagan merupakan salah satu pekerjaan yang umum dilakukan masyarakat Desa Saramaake, Halmahera Timur. Kegiatan edukasi pelestarian sumberdaya dan lingkungan pantai ini dilaksanakan pada Juni, Agustus, September dan Desember 2018, bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi pemahaman tentang pelestarian sumberdaya dan lingkungan pantai di desa tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan, diskusi dan monitoring dan evaluasi. Sasaran kegiatan merupakan nelayan dan istri nelayan yang merupakan anggota Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUB) atau Koperasi.  Beberapa kegiatan yang telah dilakukan antara lain penyuluhan tentang perikanan bagan (Agustus), penyuluhan tentang konservasi lingkungan dan sumberdaya (Juni), dan kegiatan monitoring dan evaluasi (September, Desember 2018). Dari hasil kegiatan dapat diketahui bahwa secara umum masyarakat nelayan telah mengetahui dan mengimplementasikan kegiatan perikanan yang baik, dan menjaga kondisi lingkungannya dengan lebih baik, dengan tidak membuang sampah di laut, tidak melakukan penebangan hutan pantai, tidak mengubur ikan by catch di pantai, dan mengingatkan pada sesama nelayan, keluarga dan aparat pemerintah untuk tetap menjaga lingkungan laut. Education on the environmental and resource conservations of the lift-net fishermen  AbstractLift-net fisheries is a commonly job of the coastal community at Saramaake Village, East Halmahera. This education activity on environmental and resource conservations was done on June, August, September and December 2018, aimed to educate resource and environment conservation in the village.  Methods used in this activity were survey in the fied, discussion and filling in the questionnaire form. Objects of the activity were fisherman and their wives who were member of the Common Business Group (KUB-Indonesian) and Cooperative (Koperasi-Indonesian).  A number of activities were carried out to educate the fisherman community such as extension on the lift net fisheries, extension on the resource and environmental conservation, and monitoring and evaluation.  The community commonly knew and implemented a good fishing activity and  environmental and resource care better such as no drop garbage to the sea, no using the sea for toilet, no cutting mangrove tree, no burying by catch in coastal area, encouraging to families, fishermen and village officials to keep the sea better.

Abstract

Head trauma or traumatic brain injury (TBI) gives most serious impact on the central nervous system. Several experimental models have been established to mimic different pathogenesis characteristics of TBI. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is evidence of hystopathological lesions in the brain tissue after Marmorou TBI models. This study uses Rattus norvegicus Sprague Dawley strain. Macroscopic and microscopic observations on the brain tissue were done. Macroscopic lesions were observed in the brain. Microscopic observation was performed with Haematoxylin-Eosin (HE) staining and immunohistochemistry on the distribution of microglia cells and pyramidal cells in the cortex. Meanwhile, the distribution of NRG-1/ErbB, proliferation, and apoptosis were observed in the hippocampus. The results of macroscopic observation showed that there were wounds caused by falling loads and vasodilatation. On microscopic observation, the TBI group showed an increase in neutrophils distribution and distribution of activated microglia to produce TNF-α, and decrease in the number of cortical pyramidal cells significantly. The distribution of NRG-1 tended to decrease after exposure of TBI and had no effect on its receptor, erbB. Exposure of TBI appears to lower the activity of neuronal cells proliferation in dentate gyrus (DG) area and significantly increase the number of apoptotic cells. Marmarou model is a physiological model of TBI that spontaneously occurs following a trauma to the head, for example trauma due to an accident. This data can be used as a preliminary data of inflammation and tissue regeneration of disrupted adult brain. Therefore, this research could be used as the basis in the studies of therapeutic agents in the process of neurogenesis of brain cells.Keywords: traumatic brain injury, ERG-1/ErbB, dentate gyrus, Ki67, TNF-a, microglia
