Abstract

Impact of Land Rehabilitation by Arbuscule Mycorrhizae Fungi (AMF) and Organic Matter for Tsunami-Affected Land on the Availability of Soil P, Growth and P Uptake of MaizeABSTRACT. Phosphor, a macro element, is often a problem especially in tropical regions not only because its content in soil but also its availability. This problem also occurred at tsunami-affected land. Both micorrhizae and organic matter able to improve soil quality, include by improving nutrient status of soil. The aim of this work were to examine the effect of AM fungi and organic matter on availability of soil P and N and P uptake of maize at the tsunami-affected land. This work was arranged in Factorial Randomized Block Design with three replication. The results were both AMF inoculation and organic matter affected the availability of soil P not significantly. The dry weight of upper crop and P uptake of maize were influenced by interaction of these treatments high significantly while the dry weight of root was affected significantly.

Abstract

The study is look at the effect of various doses of the chemical properties of organic materials Andisol, growth and production of wheat. This study was conducted in March to June 2013 in the village Tunyang, Timang Gajah, Bener Meriah province of Aceh and continued in Soil Chemistry Laboratory Faculty of Agriculture, Unsyiah, Darussalam Banda Aceh. This experiment used a randomized block design (RBD) with 10 treatments and 3 replications. experiments conducted in this study were: control, manure 10 tons ha-1, manure 20 tons ha-1, manure 30 tons ha-1, compost 10 tons ha-1, compost 20 tons ha-1, compost 30 tons ha-1, 10 tons of manure ha-1 + compost 10 tons ha-1, manure 20 tons ha-1+ compost 10 tons ha-1, 20 tons of manure ha-1+ compost 20 tons ha-1. These results indicate that increase of organic material does not change the status of pH, C-organic, N-total and P-total planted wheat Andisol. increase of organic materials can improve status P-available and P-retention in Andisol. Highest result the addition of organic material encountered increase manure 30 tons ha-1.

Abstract

Islam sebagai suatu agama, memiliki ajaran yang diakui lebih sempurna serta komprehensif dibandingkan dengan agama-agama lainnya. Islam tidak hanya mengatur cara mendapatkan kebahagiaan hidup di akhirat, ibadah dan penyerahan diri kepada Allah saja, melainkan juga mengatur cara mendapatkan kebahagiaan hidup di dunia, termasuk di dalamnya mengatur masalah pendidikan. Sumber untuk mengatur kehidupan dunia dan akhirat tersebut adalah Alqur’an dan Assunnah. Sebagai sumber ajaran, Alqur’an telah dibuktikan oleh para peneliti ternyata menaruh perhatian yang besar terhadap masalah pendidikan dan pengajara Hal ini jelas memperlihatkan bahwa Islam sebagai agama yang ajaran-ajarannya bersumber pada Alqur’an dan al Hadist sejak awal telah menancapkan revolusi di bidang pendidikan dan pengajaran. Langkah yang ditempuh Alqur’an ini ternyata amat strategis dalam upaya mengangkat martabat kehidupan manusia. Kini di akui dengan jelas bahwa pendidikan merupakan jembatan yang menyeberangkan orang dari keterbelakangan menuju kemajuan, dari kehinaan menuju kemuliaan, serta dari ketertindasan menjadi merdeka.

Abstract

This study is a school action research that aims to improve pedagogic competence of non-educational teachersSDN 003 Bagan Hulu through Academic Supervision. This research was conducted in SDN 003 Bagan Hulu,this research was conducted in two cycles with four stages: planning, implementation, observation, andreflection. In this study researchers only focus on the ability of teachers in preparing lesson planning. The resultof research stated that after applied by academic supervision by supervisor, teacher's ability in making learningplan is increasing. This is seen from the initial scores of indicators of the indicators of learning objectives toobtain data of 40% in the first cycle has increased with a score of 60% and in the second cycle has increasedagain up to 70%. In the indicator of the determination of the material / subject matter at the initial scoreobtained a score of 65%, in the first cycle increased up to 70%, and in the second cycle increased to 80%. In theindicator of the use of learning media at the initial score of 40%, in the first cycle increased up to 60%, and inthe second cycle increased to 80%. In the indicator of strategy selection and learning method in the initial scoreof 40%, in the first cycle increased up to 60%, and in the second cycle increased up to 75%. And on indicatorcomponent of learning evaluation planning at initial score get 40%, in the first cycle has increased up to 60%,and in cycle II have increase until 70%.

Abstract

The Purpose of this Study was to Determine the Extent to which the Process of Processing Soybeans into Processed Products,Namely Tofu that can Provide a level of Profit and added Value for Businesses in the Study Area. Data Collection was Done by Purposive Sampling method (Deliberately). The Results showed that the Tofu Processing Process was Carried out Using Simple Technology,Namely Using the Main Raw Material of Soybeans. Mashed with added Vinegar and Salt Acid with a Simple Tool.As for the Amount of Soybean Raw Material once the Production is an Average of 133,33 kg Per day With 226,61kg of Tofu. Workforce 6,90 HOK with Labor out of 0,052 HOK Per kg of Soybeans to Know in Return for Rp 5.460 Added Value of Rp 7.164,02 per kg with a Ratio of Added Value Obtained 42,89 % of the output Value means that Every Rp 100 output Values Will Get an Added Value of 42,89 Which is Include in the Category of High Added Value. Profits are Obtained in the Amount of Rp1 .704,02 with a Ratio of 23,79 % to Added Value. Keywords : Soybean,Tofu, Added Value

Abstract

This study was aimed at determining kinds of soil amendements that increase fertility on peat soil.  The research was conducted in Soil Chemistry Laboratory, Agriculture Faculty, Syiah Kuala University, Darussalam Banda Aceh from December 2013 to March 2014.  The experiment was arranged in a completely randomized design (CRD) with 8 treatments and three replications. Kinds of soil amandements evaluated were: control, mineral soil, sawdust, lime, mineral soil + sawdust, mineral soil + lime, sawdust + lime, sawdust + lime+ mineral soil.  The result showed that the amendements increased pH(H2O), P-available, base saturation and decreased Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC). Sawdust + lime had the highest ability to increased P-avaiable. Lime had the highest ability to increased base saturation. Sawdust + mineral soil had the highest ability to decreased CEC.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of moisture content of field capacity on the growth of several mutant genotypes of 3rd generation (M3) Kipas Merah soybean varieties. The research was conducted at Screen House and Soil Chemistry Laboratory  Faculty of Agriculture Syiah Kuala Universtity from May to Jun 2015. The experimental Randomized Block Design (CRBD) factorial was used, consisting of two factors and three replications. The first factor was based on the field capacity level, consisting of 100%, 80%, 60%, and 40%, and the second factor consisted of 14 mutants of 3rd generation Kipas Merah and the original Kipas Merah variety as control. The results showed that the interaction between field capacity and soybean genotype significantly affected the growth of soybean crops. In a 40% field capacity treatment of almost all the parameters tested the genotype showed no significant difference, howeverKM300-38 showed the highest plant among the genotypes tested. In a 60% of field capacity, genotype KM200-18 and KM200-37 showed better growth on all parameters tested, although not significantly different from genotype KM200-9, KM200-41, and KM300-9. Genotypes of mutant soybean that can survive and provide good growth in water shortage are KM200-18, KM200-37, KM200-9, KM300-9, and KM200-41.Selection of drought-tolerant genotypes can be performed under 40% of the field capacity.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The study was aimed at determining kinds of ameliorants that increase fertility on Hemic Peats Soil.  The experiment was arranged in a completely randomized design (CRD) with 6 treatments and 4 replications.  The result showed that the ameliorants increased pH (H2O), exchangeable cations (K, Na, Ca, Mg) and base saturation.  Sawdust had the highest ability to increase base saturation, K, and Na.  Lime had the highest ability to increase pH (H2O), Ca, and Mg.  Sawdust increased fertility hemic peats soil better than lime.

Abstract

Selection of 3rd generation soybean mutants (M3) of Kipas Putih has been selected for tolerance of drought stress. The research was conducted at the Tissue Culture Laboratory of Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University, Darussalam - Banda Aceh. Gamma ray irradiation was performed at Puslitbang Teknologi Isotop dan Radiasi BATAN, Pasar Jumat Jakarta. Seed of Varietas Wilis and Dering soy bean was used as control for drought tolerant and Kipas Putih was used as original variety. Selection was performed in vitro by using 20% Polyethylene Glycol (PEG). The results showed there were 8 genotype mutants categorized as tolerant to drought stress, ie KP100-26, KP100-28, KP200-31A, KP200-38, KP200-51, KP200-62, KP300-34, and KP300-47. Eleven mutan genotypes were categorized as medium tolerant and six genotypes were sensitive to drought. Selection of M4 generation selected lines are needed to find the drought tolerant and high-yielding mutant.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to evaluate the influence of some types of soil ameliorans (lime, sea mud and some types of soil microorganisms) on P nutrient and soybean root development in peat soil.  The experiment was carried out in the Greenhouse of Agriculture Faculty of USU, Soil Biology Laboratory, Central Laboratory of Agriculture Faculty of USU and Laboratory of Soil analysis at RISPA, from March to November 2011.  The experiment was arranged in a completely randomized design, consisted of 13 treatments and two replicates. The treatments included control, dolomite lime, sea mud, lime + sea mud, Bradyrhizobium, mos, Mycorrhizal isolate of peat soil, mycorrhizal isolate of mineral soil, Bradyrhizobium + mos, mos + mycorrhizal isolate of peat soil isolates, mos + mineral soil mycorrhizal isolate, Bradyrhizobium + mos + mycorrhizal isolate of peat soil, Bradyrhizobium + mos + mycorrhizal isolate of mineral soil. Variables observed included soil pH, soil P available, plant P uptake, and weight of root dry. Types of amelioran exerted significant effect on soil pH, but did not exert significant effects on soil P available,  plant P uptake, and weight of dry root.
