Abstract

This study aims to improve the physics Science Process Skills Students on cognitive and psychomotor aspects by using model based Project Based Learning training.The object of this study is the Project Based Learning model used in the learning process of Computationa Physics.The method used is classroom action research through two learning cycles, each cycle consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. In the first cycle of treatment with their emphasis given training in the first phase up to third in the model Project Based Learning, while the second cycle is given additional treatment with emphasis discussion is collaboration in achieving the best results for each group of products. The results of data analysis showed increased ability to think Students on cognitive and Science Process Skills in the psychomotor.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis (1) perbedaankemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi fisika siswa pada model pembelajaranberbasis masalah dengan menggunakan media flash dan pembelajarankonvensional, (2) perbedaan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa yangmemiliki sikap ilmiah di atas rata-rata dan di bawah rata-rata, serta (3)interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan tingkat sikap ilmiah dalam mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen. Pemilihan sampel dilakukandengan teknik cluster random sampling sebanyak dua kelas, dimana kelaspertama diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah denganmenggunakan media flash dan kelas kedua dengan pembelajarankonvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari tes kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dan angket sikap ilmiah. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisisdengan menggunakan anova dua jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwakemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi fisika menggunakan model pembelajaranberbasis masalah dengan menggunakan media flash lebih baik dibandingkandengan pembelajaran konvensional, kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggisiswa dengan sikap ilmiah di atas rata-rata lebih baik dibandingkan dengansiswa yang sikap ilmiah di bawah rata-rata, serta terdapat interaksi antaramodel pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan menggunakan media flashdan sikap ilmiah dalam mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa. Kata kunci: model pembelajaran berbasis masalah, media flash, sikap ilmiah, kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi

Abstract

The purpose of this research has described difference: (1) skill of student science process between inquiry training assist media of handout and direct instruction, (2) skill of student science process between student possess attitude scientific upon and under of mean, and (3) interaction of inquiry training assist media handout and direct instruction with attitude scientific increase skill of student science process. Type of this research is experiment quasi, use student of senior high school Private sector of  Prayatna as population and chosen sample by cluster sampling random. The instrument used essay test base on skill of science process which have valid and reliable. Data be analysed by using ANAVA two ways. Result of research show that any difference of skill of student science process (1) between inquiry training assist media of handout and direct instruction, where inquiry training assist media of handout better then direct instruction, (2) between student possess attitude scientific upon and under of mean, where possess attitude scientific upon of mean better then student possess attitude scientific under of mean and (3) any interaction between inquiry training assist media of handout and direct instruction with attitude scientific increase skill of student science process, where interaction in class direct instruction better then inquiry training assist media of handout.

Abstract

The purposes of the research are to determine the differences between learning outcomes physics students with cooperative learning model based Collaborative Group Investigation and learning model of Direct Instruction; The difference in results between the groups studied physics scientific attitude is low and the high; Interaction between learning model with the level of scientific attitude of students in influencing student learning outcomes. The sampling technique in this study conducted in cluster random sampling of two classes, where first class as a class experiment applied cooperative learning model Group Investigation and second class as a class of control applied learning model of Direct Instruction. The instruments used in this research achievement test physics in the form of descriptions of 10 questions and instrument scientific attitude questionnaire with 22 questions that have been declared valid and reliable. From the results of this study concluded that there are differences in learning outcomes physics students with cooperative learning model Group Investigation based collaborative learning and model direct instruction learning, this means that learning outcomes of students who learned with group investigation model of learning is better than learning model of direct instruction. There are differences between groups of low scientific attitude and high scientific attitude; this means that the learning outcomes of students who have high scientific attitude is better than learning outcomes of students who have low scientific attitude. There is interaction between learning models with the level of scientific attitude of students in influencing student learning outcomes; this means that the model of good cooperative group investigation applied to students who have a high scientific attitude.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Perbedaan keterampilan proses sains siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model inkuiri terbimbing dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional, 2) Perbedaan keterampilan proses sains pada siswa yang memiliki tingkat kreativitas tinggi dan pada siswa yang memiliki tingkat kreativitas rendah, 3) Interaksi antara kreativitas dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan desain faktorial 2x2. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X pada SMAN I Julok semester genap tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas yang ditentukan dengan cluster sampling diambil dari dua kelas, yaitu siswa kelas  X-2 (eksperimen) sebanyak 30 orang dan  siswa  X-5 (kontrol) sebanyak 30 orang. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes kreativitas dan tes keterampilan proses sains. Hipotesis dianalisis denganbantuan SPSS 17 for windows pada taraf signifikan 0,05. Berdasarkan analisis data dan uji hipotesis yang dilakukan diperoleh bahwa: 1) Terdapat perbedaan keterampilan proses sains antara siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Inkuiri terbimbing dibandingkan dengan siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. 2) Terdapat perbedaan keterampilan proses sains siswa yang memiliki tingkat kreativitas tinggi dengan siswa yang memiliki tingkat kreativitas rendah, dimana siswa memiliki tingkat kreativitas tinggi memperolehketerampilan proses lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang memiliki tingkat kreativitas rendah. 3) Ada interaksi antara kreativitas dengan model pembelajaran  inkuiri terbimbing terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a device design appropriate learning with problem-based learning model and analyze whether learning instrument developed can improve student learning outcomes. This development research done on a limited test by using a class by using research methods 4D development. 4D method is used as a method for designing a learning device to the stages define, design, and develope, while disseminate not done for a limited test. The development of learning instrument assessed by a team of experts, small group, and then the field test. Improved learning outcomes using the NGain. The result of the design of the learning device developed by researchers in accordance with input from a team of experts, small groups and field testing of the categories eligible to use. There is an increase in student learning outcomes after using problem-based learning instrument with the N-Gain in the medium category.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze (1)The results of studying physicsstudents by learning model Inquiry Training and Direct Instruction. (2)Theresults of studying physics students who have low initial concept mastery andmastery of high initial concept. (3)The interaction between the levels ofmastery learning model with the initial concept in improving learning outcomes Physics. The study population is a private junior high schoolstudent PAB 8 Deli Serdang. The sample is random cluster class. Theinstrument used consisted of (1)initial concept mastery test, (2)Test resultsof learning with dynamic power subject matter. The next stage is to test theprerequisite analysis tests of normality and homogeneity. Results of dataanalysis showed that the samples come from populations that are normallydistributed and variances homogeneous both samples. Then test thehypothesis by using ANOVA analysis of two paths. The results showed that(1)Results of student learning in the classroom Inquiry Training better thanthe class of student learning outcomes Direct Instruction. (2)The results ofstudents mastery of concepts that have high and low at the beginning ofInquiry Training class is better than mastery of the concept of high and lowinitial class of students in the Direct Instruction. (3)There is no interactionbetween learning model and Direct Instruction Training Inquiry with theinitial level of mastery of concepts in Physics improves learning outcomes.

Abstract

The objective of this research were to produce a lesson plans and worksheets learning instrument design that corresponded to problem based learning models and analyze whether it was can improve student learning outcomes. This research development was done in classroom by using development research methods of Analysis Design Development Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE). ADDIE method was used as a method for designing a lesson plans and worksheets that corresponded to it. Three stages of development of lesson plans and worksheets such as an assessment by a team of experts, small group, and a field test. Assessment by a team of experts based on theree aspects such as format, content, and language. In small group and field test based on a response of students sheet. The student response sheet contains of teachers ability to teach. Worksheet assessment based on aspects of the format, content, and language. Assessment of student learning outcomes based on pretest and posttest were analyzed by ngain. The results of development of lesson plans and worksheets were validated by a team of experts on aspects of format, content, and language. The result both of development of lesson plans and worksheets in small group and field test produced good categories. There was an increased student learning outcomes of  first to third meeting with categories of low to moderate.

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to analyze the different between physic resolving problem ability by using problem based learning model and direct instruction model, the different of physic resolving problem ability between the students that have critical thinking ability upper the average and the students that have critical thinking ability under the average, and the interaction of problem based learning model toward critical thinking ability and students’ physic resolving problem ability. This research was quasy experimental research that use critical thinking ability tests and physic resolving problem ability tests as the instruments. Result of the research showed that the students’ physic resolving problem ability by using problem based learning model was better than by using direct instruction model, students’ physic resolving problem ability and critical thinking ability upper the average showed better different and result than students’ critical thinking ability under the average, besides there was an interaction between problem based learning model and critical thinking ability in improving students’ physic resolving problem ability.
