Abstract

This study aimed at determining the increase in students? learning outcomes in social science by applying the student teams achievement divisions (STAD) model with the steps based on Curriculum 2013. This research was a type of a classroom action research which was conducted in two cycles in 33 fourth grade students in a primary school in Salatiga in second semester of academic year 2017/2018. Data was collected using test and non-test techniques with help of evaluation test and an observation sheet. Results show improvement of learning outcomes by applying STAD model on social science subjects. The average completeness of learning outcomes increased from pre-cycle to cycle II. At pre-cycle, the average was 57.71 with 31,42% completeness, at cycle I was 68.28 with 50% completeness, and cycle II was 70 with 71.87% completeness. Therefore, applying the STAD model can improve the learning outcomes of primary students in social science.

Abstract

This study that aimed at improving learning outcomes in social science using cooperative learning model type Jigsaw in social science. The model was implemented in a primary school. This learning model was developed into 2013 curriculum-based learning. We conducted the study into cycle 1 and cycle 2, each consisted of 3 meetings. The research subjects were 4th grade students. The research design was arranged based on planning, action, and reflection. Results show that there is an increase in the number of students passing the minimum requirement. Therefore, Jigsaw can improve students? learning outcomes.

Abstract

AbstractThis study is aimed to find out the improvement of students learning result and problem solving skill in Mathematic subject by the appliance of PBL (Problem Based Learning) method to the fifth grade elementary school students. In this research, the researcher used CAR (Classroom Action Research) method that bring about of two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research is the fifth grade elementary school students. The Data analysis is carried out by using comparative descriptive analysis. It shows that there is improvement from the students cognitive result, from 71,42 % up to 89,29%, it means the students result improve up to 17,87%.  The result of students problem solving skill in mathematic subject improves from 70,86% to 90,28% and to the students affective result, there is improvement on their behavior become much better, and the student?s mindset become more advance, the student is able to work together with their friends to solve their problem, and become more courageous to ask and share their ideas. From the result, it could be concluded that the using of PBL (Problem Based Learning) with the helping of white and black box could improve student?s learning result and problem solving skill in Mathematic subject.Keywords:  Problem Based Learning (PBL), black and white box, learning result, problem solving skill in Mathematic subject AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar dan keterampilan pemecahan masalah Matematika dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning(PBL)berbantuan kotak hitam putihpada siswa SD kelas IV. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus.Tiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi.Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar.Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif komparatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif dari 71,42% meningkat menjadi 89,29% untuk itu terjadi peningkatan sebesar 17,87%. Hasil belajar keterampilan pemecahan masalah matematika dari 70,86% menjadi 90,28% dan hasil belajar afektif terjadi peningkatan pada perilaku siswa yang lebih baik, pola pikir siswa menjadi lebih berkembang, siswa mampu bekerjasama dalam pemecahan masalah dan lebih berani bertanya serta mengungkapkan gagasanya. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaranProblem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan kotak hitam putih dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keterampilan pemecahan masalah matematika.Kata kunci: Problem Based Learning, hitam putih, hasil belajar, keterampilan pemecahan masalah Matematika

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to improve the learning outcomes of natural sciences  through Discovery Learning model in the fourth grade students on  Tingkir Lor 02 Salatiga State Elementary Schools. This type of research is a Classroom Action Research with two cycles. Both cycles consist of three meetings. The subjects of the study were the fourth grade students. The initial condition showed that the score was 62,15 with the total number of students who passed were only 8 students and the number of students who hasn?t passed were 17 students. At the first cycle of natural sciences learning the outcomes increased to become 74. It means the percentage of completeness reached 76%. At the second cycle the average of student?s learning outcomes increased again to become 80,32. Showed that percentage of completeness reached 88%, thus it can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model can improve student learning outcomes.Keywords: Discovery Learning Model, Science Learning Outcomes AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning pada siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri Tingkir Lor 02. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan dua siklus. Siklus I dan II terdiri dari tiga kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV. Pada kondisi awal nilai rata-rata  adalah 66,12 dengan jumlah siswa tuntas sebanyak 8 siswa dan jumlah siswa tidak tuntas sebanyak 17 siswa. Pada siklus I rata-rata hasil belajar IPA  meningkat menjadi 74  dan pada siklus II rata-rata hasil belajar siswa meningkat lagi menjadi 80,32. Presentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus I presentase ketuntasan mencapai 76% dan pada siklus II presentase ketuntasan mencapai 88%, dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar. Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to improve student?s mathematic learning outcomes by implementing Think Pair Share as a learning model. The Type of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Technique of data collection is observation and test result learn. The subjects of the study were students of grade V SD N Ujung-ujung 03 which amounted to 20 students Data collection tools were observation sheets, test questions then analyzed with quantitative descriptive data. The results showed an increase in the percentage of cognitive, affective and psychomotor learning outcomes of learners. In cycle I is there are 13 students with an average of 75.50. In the second cycle, there are 17 students succeded to get 84.52. Student?s activity is also increased from 88% in cycle I, and increased to 100% in cycle II, as well as teacher?s activity. The percentage of 90% in cycle 1 increase to 100% in cycle II. It is suggested that teachers should use Think Pair Share learning models to organize active learning.  Keywords: Think Pair Share, Learning Outcomes, Mathematics AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik yang masih rendah di salah satu SD Negeri Kecamatan Pabelan pada mata pelajaran matematika. Tujuan penelitian untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika menerapkan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share. Jenis penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi dan tes hasil belajar. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD N Ujung-ujung 3 yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, soal-soal tes kemudian dianalisis dengan data deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan persentase hasil belajar kognitif, afektif  dan psikomotor peserta didik yang mencapai KKM pada siklus I meningkat dari 7  menjadi 13 peserta didik dengan rata-rata 75.50. Pada siklus II peserta didik yang mencapai KKM mencapai 17 orang dengan rata-rata 84.52. Aktivitas peserta didik juga mengalami peningkatan dari 88% disiklus I meningkat menjadi 100% pada siklus II. begitu juga dengan aktivitas guru. Pada siklus I menunjukan presentase 90% meningkat menjadi 100% pada siklus II.  Guru sebaiknya menggunakan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share untuk menyelenggarakan pembelajaran yang aktif.Kata kunci : Think Pair Share, Hasil Belajar, Matematika

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes in mathematics through learning methods Problem Solving Grade 4 SDN Ngrawan Semarang District 02 subdistrict Getasan second semester of academic year 2015/2016. This research is a classroom action research (PTK). Model class action research model was used Arikunto using two cycles, each cycle consists of 3 phases: 1). Action planning stage. 2). Implementation of actions and observations. 3). Reflection activity. The subjects were4th grade students of SDN 02 Getasan Ngrawan Kab. Semarang totaling 21 siswa.penilitian there are two cycles, each cycle consisting of three meetings. The data collection technique is a technique test and non test. Assessment instruments used to use observasi.pada sheet items and pre-cycle average value of learning outcomes was 60.8, the first cycle of the average value of learning outcomes 74, and the average value of learning outcomes in cycle 2 was 83.1. 2 cycles result is higher than the indicator PTK.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika melalui metode pembelajaran Problem Solving siswa kelas 4 SDN Ngrawan 02 Kecamatan Getasan Kabupaten Semarang semester II tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Instrumen penilaian yang digunakan menggunakan butirsoal dan lembar observasi.pada pra siklus nilai rata-rata hasil belajar adalah 60,8, pada siklus 1 nilai rata-rata hasil belajar 74, dan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar pada siklus 2 adalah 83.1. hasil siklus 2 lebih tinggi dari indikator PTK.Kata kunci: Metode Problem Solving, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

Abstract : Background research problem is the teacher in delivering the subject matter of mathematics in the form of assignments and lectures. With that result the students are less enthusiastic and active in learning and learning outcomes of students 4th grade math N Ketapang 01 becomes low. This study aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes and describe the steps of the methods Problem Based Learning (PBL) aided audio-visual media that are tailored to the standard process. Classroom action research consists of two cycles, each cycle consisting of three meetings. The subject of research students 4th grade N Ketapang 01, as many as 21 students. Data collection instruments using test and non test. The research instrument is a matter of essay tests, observation and observation sheet. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes. Improving student learning outcomes seen from the average value of classical, before action is 68.7, the first cycle increased to 78.5, and the second cycle increased to 87.8. Completeness student learning outcomes in pre-cycle by 42.9%, after the implemented action first cycle increased to 76.9%, and the second cycle increased to 90.47%. So PBL teaching methods aided audiovisual media adapted to the standards process can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes. Suggestions in the study are expected teachers can apply the methods of PBL aided by audio-visual media in improving student learning outcomes in mathematics, student activity in learning increases, adding the work in the school library, can complement the weaknesses of previous studies and discover new things, namely the application of PBL aided media EEK-based audio-visualAbstrak : Latar belakang masalah penelitian adalah guru dalam menyampaikan materi pelajaran matematika berupa tugas dan ceramah. Dengan itu mengakibatkan siswa kurang antusias dan tidak aktif dalam pembelajaran dan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas 4 SD N Ketapang 01 menjadi rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa dan mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah metode Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media audio visual yang disesuaikan dengan standar proses. Jenis penelitian tinda-kan kelas ini terdiri dari 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari 3 kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas 4 SD N Ketapang 01 sebanyak 21 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan non tes. Instrumen penelitian berupa soal tes esay, lembar pengamatan dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dilihat dari nilai rata-rata klasikal, sebelum dilakukan tinda-kan adalah 68,7, siklus I meningkat menjadi 78,5, dan siklus II meningkat menjadi 87,8. Ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada pra siklus sebesar 42,9%, setelah dilaksanakan tindakan siklus I meningkat menjadi 76,9%, dan si-klus II meningkat menjadi 90,47%. Jadi metode pembelajaran PBL berbantuan media audio visual yang dis-esuaikan dengan standar proses dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Saran dalam penelitian adalah diharapkan guru dapat menerapkan metode PBL berbantuan media audio visual dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika, keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran meningkat, menambah karya di perpustakaan sekolah, dapat melengkapi kelemahan penelitian sebelumnya dan menemukan hal baru yaitu penerapan PBL berbantuan media audio visual berbasis EEKKata Kunci: Metode Problem Based Learning (PBL), Media Audio Visual, Standar Proses, dan Hasil Bela-jar Matematika

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of Quantum Learning combined with concrete objects media with conventional learning on mathematics subjects to activities and learning outcomes in one SD Negeri Salatiga. This experimental study used a type of Experimental Quasi. The sample of this study was the fifth grade students, amounting to 20 students as the experimental group and the control group with 20 students. The data collection instrument used in the study was a test of learning outcomes which included pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique used in this research is average difference test using Independent Sample T-test. The results showed that the experimental group was superior to the control group with the average value of the experimental group of 80.50> 77.25 the average value of the control group and the observer's study of the learning activity showed that the experimental group value was 7.60> 6.55 average score control group. From the hypothesis test, the 2 tailed significance value 0.0271 is smaller than 0.050 so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus there are differences in the effectiveness of Quantum Learning combined with concrete objects media on learning mathematics on student activity and learning outcomes. Quantum Learning is recommended for teachers in mathematics learning.Keywords: Quantum Learning; Learning activity; Learning outcomesAbstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas Quantum Learning yang dipadukan dengan media benda kongkrit dengan pembelajaran konvesional pada mata pelajaran matematika terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar di salah satu SD Negeri Kota Salatiga. Penelitian eksperimen ini menggunakan jenis Quasi Experimental (Eksperimen Semu). Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 20 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol berjumlah 20 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah tes hasil belajar yang meliputi pretest dan posttest. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini uji beda rata-rata menggunakan Independent Sample T-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kelompok eksperimen lebih unggul dari kelompok kontrol dengan nilai rata- rata kelompok eksperimen sebesar 80,50>77,25 nilai rata- rata kelompok kontrol dan hasil penelitian observer mengenai aktivitas belajar menunjukkan nilai kelompok eksperimen sebesar 7.60 > 6.55 nilai rata- rata kelompok kontrol. Dari uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai signifikasi 2 tailed 0,0271 lebih kecil dari 0,050 sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian terdapat perbedaan efektivitas Quantum Learning yang dipadukan dengan media benda kongkrit pada pembelajaran matematika terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. AbstractThis reseach has to purpose know result of increase study report tematic for social sciens with aplication Project Based Learning model. The study report purpose of kognitif domain, afektif domain and psikomotoric. This reseach is Class Action Research in implement in two cycles in the cycle has a planning stage, implementation stage, observation, and reflection. The subject in the reseach is student grade IV in Ngajaran 03 Elementary School, Tuntang distric, there is 22 student in this class. The technic data colection is use non test and test. The instrument of data colection use a test question and observation shett. The result of this reseach refer that this reaseach has increasing study report of tematic at sosial sciens with Project Based Learning model as pop-up book. The increas of student report became in stage, in pra cycle this presentation result of the student is (45,6%)  with avarage score is 60,40. In the cycle I the complete  presentation in ( 77,27%) with avarage in score 79, 60. In the second cycle that upgarding with the presentation is (83,36%) and avarage score in 81,79. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Ngajaran 03 kecamatan tuntang yang berjumlah 22 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar pembelajaran tematik muatan mata pelajaran IPS dengan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning berbantuan pop-up book, Peningkatan ketuntasan hasil belajar terjadi secara bertahap di mana pada kondisi pra siklus presentase ketuntasan siswa (45,6%) dengan rata-rata nilai 60,40, pada siklus 1 presentase ketuntasan siswa (77,27%) dengan rata-rata nilai 79,60. Pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan dengan presentase (86,36%) dan rata-rata nilai 81,79. Abstract

This study aimed at improving learning outcome in social science using cooperative learning model type Jigsaw in social science. The model was implemented in a primary school. This learning model was developed into 2013 curriculum-based learning. We conducted the study into cycle 1 and cycle 2, each consisted of 3 meetings. The research subjects were 4th grade students. The research design was arranged based on planning, action, and reflection. Results show that there is an increase in the number of students passing the minimum requirement. Therefore, Jigsaw can improve students? learning outcomes.
