Abstract

Research on larval production of Parrot red rainbow fish Glassolepis incisus has been done by using different numbers of raffia’s rope as substrats for eggs attachment. A raffia’s rope substrats of different plys concentrations namely A 360 plys, B 720 plys, and C 1080 plys were used. The spawning was carried out during 30 days, and larval feeding was given twice a day with frozen Chironomus larvae in ad satiation rate. The results showed that highest spawning frequencies was found in treatment A (360 plys) with 24 times, and then treatment B (720 plys) with 23 times, and treatment C (1080 plys) with 18 times. Highest eggs production were found on treatment A, B and C respectively at 1154 eggs, 892 eggs, and 691 eggs, respectively. Whiles the hatching rate were found that the treatment A = 92 %, treatment B= 85 % and treatment C= 94 %. The Treatment A overall was the best treatment in this experiment.Keyword: Larval, Parrot red rainbow, raffia rope, spawning

Abstract

Seaweed has been cultivated with the purpose to meet a demand of market which incrense immediately. One of factors that can determine the success of seaweed culture is the right location to meet requirement for seaweed cultivation. The purpose of this study to analyze physical and chemical parameters in the Lontar village. Determination of station with randomized method that represent the location that includes 5 stations with repetition three times. Measurement of physical and chemical parameters that the brightness of the water, wave height, current velocity, depth, temperature, salinity, pH conducted at research sites. While for nitrate, phosphate and TSS parameter were measured in the analysis laboratory of department of water resources and settlements (DSAP provinsi Banten). Results of testing the physical and chemical parameters in the waters of Lontar village at District Tirtayasa, Serang, in November-December 2014 can be stated suitable to be used as a location for seaweed cultivation Kappaphycus alvarezii. While the test results showed that the suitability of the location of all stations which observed were stated kind and proper to be used as a location for seaweed cultivation Kappaphypus alvarezzi.

Abstract

The study on the effect of shelter on growth and survival rate of the tiger shrimp (Penaeun monodon Fab.) have been carried out. Three kinds of different shelters and one control were conducted, namely (1) control, (2) shelter with mangrove branch (3) shelter with coconut branch, (4) shelter with bamboo branch. The result showed that the survival rate of tiger shrimp were 52.00%, 78.67%, 64.00%, 68.00%, respectively, while their growth rate were 9.08%, 7.74%, 5.95%, 6.85%, respectively. These findings indicated that the shelter have affected to the survival rate of the tiger shrimp, however, there were no significant difference in the growth of tiger shrimp.

Abstract

Perkembangan  teknologi  saat  memungkinkan  akan  konsep  rumah  yang  Hi  – Tech, pada saat ini TV, Home System Audio, mesin cuci, mesin pompa air, dan lain-lain adalah  contoh  beberapa  peralatan elektronik yang  penggunaaannya masih menggunakan tombol  atau  remote  control.  Namun  dengan  konsep  “  Hi-Tech  future  Home  “  dimana semua  peralatan  elektronik  yang  terhubung  dengan  internet  memungkinkan  dapat dikembangkan  dengan  mudah.  Voice  Command  Recognition  System  adalah  salah  satu konsep pengendalian perangkat elektronik dengan menggunakan perintah suara. Dengan konsep tersebut maka semua peralatan elektronik bisa dikendalikan dengan perintah suara dari penggunannya.Pada Jurnal ini akan menjelaskan perancang system voice command recognition yang  digunakan  untuk  aplikasi  peralatan  rumah  tangga  yang  dikendalikan  oleh  suara pengguna.  Perancangannnya  akan  menggunakan  teknologi  Google  Voice  Recognition system, Arduino Uno, Bluetooth dan teknologi transistor untuk mengefisiensi dalam hal biaya perancangannya. Dari  hasil  pengujian  dapat  disimpulkan  bahwa  sistem  ini  memiliki  kelebihan yaitu  mudah  untuk  digunakan,  penerapannya  sederhana  yang  dapat  membantu meningkatkan  kenyamanan  pengguna  (penghuni  rumah).  Akan  tetapi  kekurangan  dari sistem  ini  adalah  sangat  bergantung  kepada  server  google  untuk  dapat  mengartikan perintah suara yang ada, sehingga apabila paket data pengguna system ini terbatas dapat dikhawatirkan system ini tidak dapat digunakan.
