Abstract

The problem of education and teaching is a fairly complex problem in which many factors that come into effect. One of these factors include instructional media. Phenomena that occur in the field in teaching and learning activities are still centered on the teacher, student activities monotonous, many students receive the teachers explanation, and student learning outcomes obtained unfavorable. The problem in this research is how to use instructional media torso toward student learning outcomes and whether there is influence learning media usage torso toward student learning outcomes. On the subject of human digestive system in SMP Negeri 19 Palembang held on July 27, 2015 until August 14, 2015. The purpose of the study is to examine the use of learning media torso toward student learning outcomes on the material in the human digestive system in SMP Negeri 19 Palembang , which includes planning, implementation, and evaluation, as well as to determine the effect of the use of learning media torso toward student learning outcomes on the material in the human digestive system in SMP Negeri 19 Palembang. The method in this research is quantitative experiments using t-test analysis. Posttest value analysis results obtained thitung price > ttable or 3.193 > 2.66. This indicate that the rejected Ha Ho accepted that hypothesis states that "There is the influence of the use of learning media torso toward student learning outcomes on the material in the human digestive system in SMP Negeri 19 Palembang

Abstract

Normally, there are three basic emotions of human beings since the human born, such as emotionally upset, excited and scared. Angry compensation theory is a theory that the human ability to divert the anger feelings that arise and it is human nature given by God. The compensation can be received directly or indirectly,  Prinsiply,  in direct competition if the person able to control their feeling of temper it’s can  protect  them  from  all diseases  such as;  heart disease, hypertension and others. In other hand, indirect compensation which is person will get the reward from the God that heaven will be included, and will be increased in rank highest, including pious, looks wise and admired by many people. Angry in man is something that is natural from God that cannot be removed by anyone but can be managed positively angry. Angry that someone means the positive impact will be more assertive and respected, can improve a persons self confidence and can overcome fear if someone can manage angry emotions well.

Abstract

The learning process, the teacher always use conventional method so the teacher is more activities and the situation of the activities make the students bored. From the explanation above the result of learning process is less. The writers are interested about the influence of dicovery learning method to improve the students achievement. The research of study was conducted in MTs Patra Mandiri Plaju Palembang academic year 2013/2014. Whether there is influence learning discovery learning methods to the learning outcomes of students in the subjects of Biology class VII MTs Patra Mandiri Plaju Palembang . The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of discovery learning method learning on learning outcomes of students in the subjects of Biology class VII MTs Patra Mandiri Plaju Palembang. Type in this study experiment study using a quantitative approach analysis techniques using t test analysis. The results of the analysis of the posttest valuesobtained is 3.54 at a price t table at 5% significance level and d f = ( 34 +35 ) -2 table = 2.00. Turns t count > t table or 3.54 > 2.00 . This suggest that Ho rejected Ha accepted the hypothesis stated that "the result of study of students from experiment class better than from students of control class”.

Abstract

Schools are strategic institutions to fight for gender equality. There is one school in South Sumatera that applies the concept of gender, namely SMA 2 Sekayu. This study aims to analyze the social aspects of gender-responsiveness in schools. The approach used is descriptive qualitative phenomenological. The informants consisted of school principals, teachers, students, school committees, and education staff. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation and analyzed using an interactive model of analysis consisting of reduction, presentation, and verification. Meanwhile, the social aspects of gender-responsiveness were analyzed through Longwe. The results showed that the implementation of gender-oriented schools on social aspects involved women and men of the school committee. Teachers' and parents? interactions run well. The school had a puberty management forum for male and female students. The interaction of all school members is in accordance with the concepts of gender equality. But the teacher did not yet have the ability to control and detect sexual harassment against students. To realize gender-responsiveness, all components in the school must have gender sensitivity.

Abstract

Educated and Professional Teachers were not only required to do their task in education but also were demanded to do their work for society. Teachers were formalism:  First, limited action of teahers area was just around the classroom. Second, Limited function of educated teachers was as carataker eduacted mission and curriculum.  Third, polarisation and dichotomy of education and knowledge made teachers uncomprhensive to see developed problems in society, so that education process was not actual in students’ life. Fourth, teachers were forced to teach 24 hours in a week. However, there were many assignments that should be done like reading and correcting students’ homework. By considering those factors, teachers have to involve in creating curriculum. Therefore, poor education related to birocration  made limited action for the Islamic teachers in cultivating their students and lost their creativity, inovation, improvisation, and adaptation in running curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a product that is a guided Inquiry module that contains values / characters. This research is a development research developed by Borg & Gall. Data analysis techniques using N-gain score, independent t test and MANOVA test. Product development validation is carried out by material experts, educational media value / character experts. The subjects of this study were students of class X MA Al-Fattah Palembang. Research instruments include modules that are integrated in values / characters, in which there are critical thinking questions and values / characters. Measurement of aspects of critical thinking according to Fascione and attitude based on an integrated questionnaire values / characters according to Einstein consisting of five values / characters namely religious, educational, socio-political, intellectual and practical values. The results of the product research are in the form of modules according to experts "good and" very good ". Learning by using a module shows an increase in the level of critical thinking (average gain score is 0.41), attitude with the value / character: moderate religious value (average score score 0.45), moderate education value (average score score 0.30), moderate socio-political value (average score score 0.32), moderate intellectual value (average score score 0.36) and moderate practical value (average score score 0.35). The Manova test shows that the Sig value is) .00.

Abstract

Parents have an obligation to organize education regardless ofwhether they have educational knowledge or not. The low level of parentalknowledge in children's education will have an impact on negative things.In this regard, it is necessary to conduct research on parents'understanding of the concept of gender to determine the picture ofchildren's understanding in the future. This research is a quantitativestudy that aims to explain the existing phenomena by using numbers todescribe the characteristics of individuals or groups. This study assessesthe nature of several conditions that appear and describes thecharacteristics of something as it is. This research was conducted in 32PAUD Institutions in Muara Enim Regency. The research target isparents who send their children to PAUD institutions with a total sampleof 64 parents. The data collection tool is a questionnaire of 10 items thatare distributed to parents of students. Data analysis used is a percentagetechnique to present data. The results of this study are that genderresponsive parents empowerment in Muara Enim District has a highawareness in assisting their children in school both in delivering school,attending school meetings, and activities carried out by schools but in theprovision of funding facilities gender responsive infrastructure is stillquite low as well as the involvement of parents as resource persons at theirchildren's school.

Abstract

The purpose of writing is to get a picture of how gender-oriented educational interaction that occurs in SMA Sekayu South Sumatra? From the above explanation it can be concluded that; the educational interaction that takes place in SMA Negeri 2 Unggul Sekayu Palembang runs well and there is no discrimination in interacting either during learning process or beyond learning. Educational intercommunication that took place in SMA Negeri 2 Unggul Sekayu was implemented in all school stakeholders both in teachers, students, principals, staff, parents, school committees, cafeterias, and security officers.

Abstract

The ability of critical thinking is very important to have. If the students have an ability of critical thinking, they students can solve the problems that facing them on the lesson study especially biology. Based on that problem, the writer was conducted a research which have the aim to know the difference between the ability of male students’ and female students’ critical thinking on blood circulation system material in biology lesson of XI MIPA MAN 1 Banyuasin. This research was conducted on july 17, 2018 At XI MIPA class of MAN 1 Banyuasin. This research was descriptive analysis research. The subject of this research was the students of XI MIPA 1, XI MIPA 2, XI MIPA 3 XI MIPA 4 of MAN 1 Banyuasin with the total of the students are 157 students. Data analyzing technique used probability sampling technique that is proportionate stratified random sampling with descriptive analysis method, the result of this research showed that the ability of male students’ critical thinking are low with the average 13.15. The ability of female students’ critical thinking are high with the average 14.05. There is the difference between the ability of male studets’ and female students’ critical thinking. In conclusion, the ability of female students’ critical thinking is higher than male student’s in MAN 1 Banyuasin.
