The Muslim population is expected to increase by 26% to 2030 to approximately 2.2 billion, and currently have a 7.7% share of global GDP which is expected to grow to 8.7% by end 2016. Therefore, the need of wealth management from Islamic way is growing rapidly. Hajj is one of Islamic pillars that Muslim people should concern on it. This hajj is performed depending on the ability of person in term of health and wealth. Moreover, the government plays a major role in management and service of hajj in many Muslim countries. The hajj fund can contribute significantly to economic development of the country. One of the possible mechanisms can be used for managing the hajj fund is by using wealth management as the instrument in managing the fund. Moreover, this study will employs qualitative research that refers to the meanings, concepts, definitions, characteristics, metaphors, symbols and descriptions of the matter understudy by using content and descriptive analysis to get finding of the study. The finding of the study is that the concept of Islamic wealth management differs from Conventional one. It is very comprehensive that cover all philosophical foundation; ontology, epistemology and axiology. Semantically, it is different from the Conventional, because Islamic wealth management has its own paradigm and philosophical underpinning, derived from Qur’an and Sunnah, and secondary source can traced through Islamic literatures such fiqh, tasawwuf, kalam. In practice level, it can be implemented in Indonesian Islamic banking especially in managing the hajj fund to contribute to economic development of ummah.

The first International Conference on Islamic Economics was held in Makkah, in 1976. Economists, jurists and scholars met together to discuss issues of Muslim ummah. However, there was many books written related to Islamic economics in the history of Islamic civilization, especially in the period of Abbasid caliphate. The fact, development of knowledge in Islamic medieval had established the epistemology of Islamic economics itself. Moreover, the epistemology is a study of the theory of knowledge, the source of knowledge, the application of knowledge and limitation of knowledge. Therefore, this paper aims to explore the contribution of earlier Muslim thinkers to the source of Islamic economics and to identify the epistemology of Islamic economics as proposed by the Muslim thinkers in medieval period. As a result, this paper will propose the epistemology of Islamic economics by integrating Islamic heritage and modern economics that is not conflict with Islamic principles and values. To achieve its objectives; this study employs qualitative research by applying content and descriptive analysis. The finding of this study is that the earlier Muslim thinkers have contributed to the construction of epistemology in Islamic economics. Then, to construct the genuine of Islamic economics, tawhid must be put as a core of Islamic economic epistemology that directs the sources of knowledge which are rooted firstly from revealed and then rational knowledge by using appropriate methods.

This study entitled Maqasid Shariahs View and Its Solution on Foreign Debt in Indonesia, aims to know the concept of debt from Islamic perspective and to analyze current issues foreign debt in Indonesia. Since economic crisis happened in European countries,Indonesia needs to be more careful in considering the impacts of the crisis. One of the causes was because of the high level of interest of the debts. It made most of crisis happened in many countries hard to pay back their debts. Therefore, it is needed to know how Islamic principles see the concept of debt and give the solution to the problem of debt by using Maqasid's approach. It can give comprehensive solution to the debt because it covers five dimensions: religion, self, intellect, family and wealth, which are very important in human life to attain the happiness and welfare on earth. The study will conclude with some suggestions for futureresearch.

Islamic banking as corporate is also subjected to the responsible of Corporate social responsibility (CSR). Moreover, Islamic Banking is different from Conventional bank in its worldview, operation and principle. It will impact to CSR operation in Islamic banking. CSR of Islamic Banking must constitute to its objective that should realize the just and welfare in ummah’s life. It came into existence as a collective religious obligation (fard kifayah) on the larger community (Ummah) as a financial intermediary for individuals in the community wishing to comply with Islamic law (Syari’ah). This study aims to discuss the role of maqasid Syari’ah, and to propose it into the applied of CSR on Islamic banking. Implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) is very important in Islamic banks because it is used as importantmeasurements to assess a successful company in its operation. CSR in Islamic bank should be different with the Conventional one from its worldview, system and standard of operational. The concept of CSR in Islam is not new, it is deeply mentioned and explained in sources of Islam. Maqasid Syari’ah is used to see the maslahat (benefit) and to make decision in all aspect of human life. In maslahat’s perspective, CSR of Islamic bank is to promote the justice and welfare and to avoid the disruption and chaos.
