Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning results of the IPS and the liveliness of the students in teaching and learning activities using the learning model of Decision Making. The analysis of the data used is the comparative descriptive. Results of the study showed an increase in the results of the study and the liveliness of the students as well as performance capabilities. Based on the initial conditions to the end result I cycle action learning there is a pretty good peningkata i.e. 12.86%., whereas in cycle II nearly 5%. For the liveliness of the students there is quite a good development of the cycle I to cycle II i.e. 29.46, and peningkatanya performance ability of 26.80% from cycle I to cycle II. Based on the results of the study above shows a model of Decision Making is very suitable to be applied to the study of IPS. In addition by IPS teacher Decision Making model would be motivated to provide more creative examples of concrete through the image or discourse or with illustration. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS Ekonomi dan keaktifan siswa dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Decision Making. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif komparatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar dan keaktifan siswa serta kemampuan unjuk kerja. Dari kondisi awal ke akhir tindakan siklus I hasil belajar ada peningkata yang cukup baik yaitu 12,86%., sedangkan di siklus II peningkatannya 5%. Untuk keaktifan siswa ada perkembangan cukup baik dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu 29,46%, dan kemampuan unjuk kerja peningkatanya sebesar 26,80% dari siklus I ke siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas menunjukkan model Decision Making sangat cocok untuk diterapkan pada pembelajaran IPS. Selain itu dengan model Decision Making guru IPS akan termotivasi untuk lebih kreatif memberikan contoh-contoh konkret melalui gambar atau wacana ataupun dengan ilustrasi.
