Abstract

Teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) saat ini banyak digunakan untuk penyebaran informasi dan bahkan untuk transaksi pada pelayanan yang bersifat publik.Teknologi ini sudah cukup dikenal oleh masyarakat luas, bersamaan dengan dikenalnya teknologi Virtual Reality (VR) yang banyak digunakan pada permainan (game).Pengunjung Perpustakaan terutama di Universitas, sebagian besar merupakan masyarakat dengan kategori generasi digital native.Untuk menemukan lokasi buku, waktu yang dibutuhkan oleh pengunjung perpustakaan biasanya relatif lama dan sangat tergantung dari pengalaman kunjungan atau frekuensi pencarian yang dilakukan.Untuk itu, pengunjung perpustakaan memerlukan aplikasi yang memudahkan mereka melacak dan menemukan lokasi koleksi pustaka yang dicari, dengan menggunakan ponsel cerdas mereka.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat lunak layanan perpustakaan dengan memanfaatkan teknologi AR dan berbasis AR marker.Ruang lingkup pengembangan aplikasi ini menggunakan metoda rekayasa perangkat lunak RAD. Aplikasi dikembangkan menggunakan metoda template matching dan algoritma A* untuk pathfinding. Skema layanan data pada alikasi terdiri dari empat bagian, yaitu OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog), deteksi lokasi, pathfinding dan navigasi. Lokasi yang dipetakan adalah gedung Perpustakaan Universitas Lampung yang terdiri dari 3 lantai. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa realisasi perangkat lunak menggunakan teknologi AR yang dapat memvisualisasikan arah menuju lokasi pustaka. Pengujian aplikasi dilakukan dengan skenario (a) pencarian Pustaka dengan OPAC, (b) mendeteksi lokasi (AR), (c) komputasi Pathfinding, (d) menampilkan marker, dan seluruhnya memperoleh hasil yang sesuai dengan requirement. AbstractAugmented Reality technology is now extensively being used to distribute information and even in transaction on public service. This technology is already well known, along with the Virtual Reality technology which is often used in game application. Library visitors, especially in universities, are mostly people categorized as digital native. To find a book location, the time needed by the visitors is generally high, which depends mostly on visitation experience or searching frequency. Therefore, visitors need an application that helps them to find the location of the library collection, with their smartphones. Library automation system helps to provide collection location information that library visitors must relate themselves to places in library building.AR allows this information to be embedded in the real world, making it easier for library searches.This research aims to develop software for library service that helps visitors finding book location by employing AR technology and based on AR Marker. The scope of this development is using RAD software engineering method. The application is developed using template matching method and algorithm A* for pathfinding. There are four parts of data service scheme: OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog), location detection, pathfinding, and navigation. Location of is the building of Universitas Lampung?s library, which consists of 3 floors. The result of this research is software realization using AR technology which can visualize the direction to the location of the collection. The application testing uses the scenarios: (a) finding collection using OPAC, (b) detecting location (AR), (c) computing pathfinding, (d) showing marker, and overall it achieves result as the requirement. Computation time on AR devices is measured against the process of algorithm A *, marker generation, and overall computing. The total computational time needed is an average of 37,379 ms, 44 ms mode, and a median of 38 ms. Overall computing time is below the 50 ms TTI limit value. The survey results show that more than 70% of library visitors have a Good and Very Good User Experience (UX).

Abstract

Intisari---Bengkel bubut adalah salah satu unit usaha jasa yang bergerak dalam bidang otomotif dan berkembang dengan baik. Sebagian besar pengusaha bengkel bubut masih menggunakan metode pengolahan data secara manual untuk proses administrasinya. Pengolahan data secara manual dapat menimbulkan beberapa masalah seperti sulitnya melakukan back up data-data penting, dibutuhkannya ruang yang cukup untuk menyimpan arsip-arsip data bengkel, dan lamanya waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk membuat laporan-laporan. Dengan berkembangnya teknologi informasi, pengolahan data secara manual dapat digantikan dengan sistem informasi terkomputerisasi. Bengkel Berkah menjadi objek penelitian karena masih mengelola data secara manual sehingga diperlukan adanya sistem informasi terpadu. Pengembangan sistem informasi ini menggunakan metode rekayasa perangkat lunak modified waterfall model. Metode Modified Waterfall Model terdiri dari 6 tahap, yaitu Requirement, Design, Implementation, Testing, Maintenance dan memiliki feedback di setiap tahapnya untuk melakukan perbaikan di tahap sebelumnya. Perangkat lunak yang digunakan adalah Lazarus Pascal IDE, MySQL Server, dan Gammu. Hasil pengujian fungsionalitas sistem informasi ini terhadap 125 komponen yang terbagi dalam 5 kategori pengujian adalah sukses sebesar 100% dan gagal sebesar 0%. Sistem informasi yang telah dikembangkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan bengkel bubut dan memiliki kemampuan untuk mengelola data-data berupa karyawan, aset mesin dan peralatan, supplier, bahan, pengguna, pelanggan dan pekerjaan, mampu mencatat transaksi-transaksi bengkel, mampu membuat laporan penunjang dan keuangan bengkel dan dapat mengirim informasi transaksi pelanggan melalui SMS. Kata Kunci---sistem informasi, modified waterfall, SMS Gateway, bengkel bubut Abstract---Turning shop is business service units engaged in automotive field. Despite advancement in information technology, business owners of turning shop are still using manual method in data management. Manual data processing leads various problems such as difficulties in backing up data, space to archive data, and long time to make reports or statements. With information technology, manual data processing can be replaced by computerized information system. The Research case study is Berkah workshop because it still use manual data. The development of this information system uses modified waterfall model as the 2ed2arch method. Modified waterfall model consists of five steps, requirement, Design, implementation, Testing, and Maintenance and it has a feedback in every step to verify and improve previous step. Information system developed according to Berkah workshop requirement. Lazarus Pascal IDE, MySQL, and Gammu used as tools to implement the model into software. The result of functionality testing of information system to the 125 items which had been tested and divided into 5 categories is 100% running successfully and no failure. Information system which had been developed has the ability to process data digitally such as employee, customer, machines and tools, user, and jobs, records transactions of workshop, makes a support reports and financial statements, and sends an information of customer transaction through SMS. Abstract

Institutional Repository (IR) Digital Collections in Unila Library is a restricted access collection, it is not directly accessible for users. Transactions such as whole collection information retrieval, printing and payment can be made only through librarians. Sometimes it leads to slow services due to the number of transaction requests queues from users. There were no system or device such as Kiosk that can be used independently for such purposes to minimize or even eliminate queue for librarians. Purpose of this research is to develop a KiosK self-contained system called Interactive Kiosk System (IKiS). IKiS serves for searching, accessing information as well as for self-printing transactions in Unila Library. IKiS hardware development uses hardware interface for input (barcode reader) and output (printer). IKiS casing made in accordance with the size and layout of the device as well as considering user ergonomics. Prototype method used for software development which focuses on functionality and user ergonomic. Data source retrieved from existing system data library which are IR collection on Eprints, ebook collection and ejournal collection on SLiMS. API (Application Programming Interface) is developed for transaction between data source to IKiS software. Testing is done on hardware, software, and both as a whole unit. Based on the test results, IKiS Print Mandiri can work well and meet the functionality required by Unila library. The research succeeded in realizing KiosKs self-service printing system tested on IR Library collection users of Unila Library. Use of the Web Service API and common computer tools make IKiS Independent Print agnostic against the IR Digital Collection system. This provides an opportunity for adoption on a wider scale as an improvement of services in the Library in general.Keyword: Index Terms—e-Kiosk, Institutional Repository, Library Services, Self-service Printing

Abstract

Objektives: Siger Tower Monument, a place where travelers travel, is on the limestone of Bakauheni Village. Related to that, Siger Tower Manager needs to build electronic commerce facility for international marketing of Lampung commodity. Methods / Statistical Analysis: After studying the details of existing commodity snippets only handicraft, selfie booth, rest area with Sumatera zero km point that can be facilitated it also requires preparation and arrangement of electronic business with priority on coffee commodities and derivatives in all stake holders. Test samples in the form of questioners to determine the preparedness of technology stakeholders, controlling the approach used compare the results obtained. Findings: UPTD Siger Tower needs preparation to welcome the opening of JTTS in the midst of land constraints where the tower positions belong to PT ASDP while the tower building belongs to the Lampung Provincial Government. This finding locks the development of management so that there is no form of cooperation that mentions the rights and obligations of the parties. It can be said that the minimum allocation of APBD for the care and development of Tower Siger. Its existence has a crucial position for the image of Lampung because: 1) Located at the point of 0 km Sumatra, near the Port of Bakauheni; 2) Siger Tower Tower landmark of Lampung; 3) Illustration Tower Siger used the community of Lampung as a symbol of Lampung. Phillip Kotlers marketing mix consists of four things that need to be considered to support marketing to answer consumer demand: product, price, place, and promotion, to consider the development of Siger Tower as a tourist destination and icon of Lampung. Local products come from the regions main commodities, coffee (mostly highland robusta) sold in the form of seeds, powder in various brands because of the variety of producers. The arrangement of the electronic business cultivates collaborative development opportunities to build the image of the Siger Tower for coffee connoisseurs, partly from outside Lampung Province. Application / Improvements: Portal providers of tourism support services with marketing information Tower of Siger related to various products to potential development opportunities for major coffee commodities. Abstract

Abstract— University of Lampung (Unila) is an Institution of Higher Education located in Bandar Lampung. Since 2016, Unila has deployed Internet Access Management (IAM) to guarantee the healthiness of the campus network, as well as to enhance the effectiveness of the bandwidth usage. This study focused on internet traffic measurement, conducted in Unila’s campus network during February 1 until February 29, 2016. Overall, this study shows user behavior on their application. The trend data of monthly most popular URL Categories accessed by users was; 1st Computers & Technology with 30032328 hits or 39.1%, the 2nd was Search Engines & Portals with 14214611 hits or 18.5%. There were around 30-40 % of internet traffic was use for Streaming Media activity, it proves that the existence of Streaming Media Activity in Campus Network which contribute to network congestion. During a month doing internet measurement, we identify the most active device/user that are the 1st was Aruba Wireless Controller with total traffic flow 40.45%, the 2nd was CCR-1 with 26.2%, the 3rd was CCR-2 with 16.9%, and the 4th was Digital Library Server with total flow was 0.6%. Monthly uplink traffic total flow was 5889.92 GB while downlink traffic total flow was 61041.35 GB. We made a recommendation to Unila management for implementing traffic provisioning especially on streaming media activity specific on access to Google Global Cache (GGC), to overcome network congestion during peak time period on working hours. Keywords—internet access management, internet traffic measurement; traffic trend

Abstract

Abstract—The Library automation system help reduce much work need to be done by doing monotonous routine jobs with the help of technologies such as Barcode and RFID. Unila Library as the pioneer of RFID technology implementation in Lampung province face challenge in migration. Unila Library used SLiMS Library Automation System to manage collections, which use mainly barcode to identify collection. RFID uses allow collections to be scanned in gate and warn librarian. Unfortunately, SLiMS doesn't support SIP2 protocol which is needed by RFID devices (gate, kiosk) to function properly. Therefore, a solution must be made to address the migration of data and support SIP2 protocol. ELIB is a library automation software which support SIP2 protocol. So, library automation systems integration which synchronize both database in ELIB and SLiMS to keep up to date data and allow support for SIP2 protocol must be made in the form of middleware. Some of difficulties arise in integration was the development of both library automation systems which require fine tuning everytime update occurs and both systems in active use. Benchmarking is done to find anomaly and disreparancies of data. And, because the integration system is build as middleware, it remain flexible and open to future development. It can be concluded, Library automation systems integration require vigilance and keen observations into minuscule level especially because both systems are so different.Keywords— library, RFID, ELIB, SLIMS, SIP2, middleware

Abstract

Masyarakat modern cenderung memakai listrik secara kontinyu. Dan, tergantung dari pemakaian, besaran listrik yang dipakai berubah seiring waktu. Nilai besaran listrik harus berada dalam batasan tertentu agar sistem yang bekerja menggunakan listrik dapat berfungsi dengan baik. Selain itu, teknologi hijau mendorong pemakaian listrik optimal sesuai dengan keperluannya. Tetapi, pengukuran konvensional untuk nilai besaran listrik terpakai tidak efisien, pengecekan dilakukan berkala dan harus ditera langsung pada perangkat pengukur seperti meteran listrik. Dan, pada sistem tenaga listrik yang lebih kompleks seperti sistem tiga fasa dapat terjadi fluktuasi perubahan beban, ketidakseimbangan beban pada tiap fasa, mau pun keadaan abnormal yang terjadi dalam rentang yang singkat. Sehingga, kebutuhan informasi pemakaian besaran listrik waktu nyata diperlukan. Penelitian untuk Dashboard Pengawasan Besaran Listrik Waktu Nyata dilakukan dengan tujuan melakukan pengawasan terhadap besaran listrik terpakai. IoT (Internet of Things) dimanfaatkan untuk mendapatkan data mengenai besaran listrik seperti Tegangan, Arus, Daya, Faktor Daya, dan Energi. IoT kemudian mengirimkan data besaran listrik ke server basis data yang kemudian diakses oleh Dashboard untuk disajikan dalam grafik yang mudah dipahami.

Abstract

Electricity Real-Time Estimation (ERTE) System Universitas Lampung, melalui pemanfaatan IoT (Internet of Things), memberikan informasi mengenai pemakaian listrik tiga fase dalam waktu nyata dan menympannya secara historis. Data tersebut dapat digunakan untuk melakukan prediksi kebutuhan listrik masa depan. Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan merupakan metode yang memungkinkan melakukan prediksi berdasarkan pengamatan pada pola data yang ada seperti layaknya otak manusia. Penelitian dilakukan dalam empat bagian, pertama adalah penentuan lapisan masukan (input layer) terdiri dari tanggal, hari, hari libur, jam, ruangan, dan pemakaian listrik serta lapisan keluaran (output layer) terdiri dari prediksi kebutuhan listrik; kedua adalah pelatihan model; ketiga adalah pengujian Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan. Semua bagian tersebut dibagi ke masing-masing fase RST. Pada bagian keempat, dilakukan prediksi kebutuhan listrik berdasarkan hasil estimasi dari setiap fase. Setelah dilakukan pelatihan dan pengujian dari model jaringan syaraf tiruan, prediksi kebutuhan listrik tiga fase menggunakan Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan memiliki tingkat akurasi yang tinggi, yaitu 99,11%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan dengan Backpropagation dapat digunakan untuk melakukan prediksi kebutuhan daya listrik dengan cukup akurat. Backpropagation menurunkan tingkat error yang cukup rendah sehingga hasil prediksi dapat dijadikan dasar dalam melakukan pengelolaan dan perencanaan perkiraan kebutuhan daya listrik untuk gedung yang menggunakan listrik tiga fase.

Abstract

Gita Persada Butterfly Park is the only breeding of engineered in situ butterflies in Indonesia. It is located in Lampung and has approximately 211 species of breeding butterflies. Each species of Butterflies has a different texture on its wings. The Limited ability of the human eye to distinguishing typical textures on butterfly species is the reason for conducting a research on butterfly identification based on pattern recognition. The dataset consists of 600 images of butterfly?s upper wing from six species: Centhosia penthesilea, Papilio memnon, Papilio nephelus, Pachliopta aristolochiae, Papilio peranthus and Troides helena. The pre-processing stage is conducted using scaling, segmentation and grayscale methods. The GLCM method is used to recognize the characteristics of butterfly images using pixel distance  and Angular direction 0o, 45o, 90o and 135o. The features used is angular second moment, contrast, homogeneity and correlation. KNN classification method in this study uses k values1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21 and 23 based on the Rule of Thumb. The result of this study indicate that Centhosia penthesilea and Papilio nephelus classes can be classified properly compared to the other 4 classes and require a classification time of 2 seconds at each angular orientation. The highest accuracy is 91.1% with a value of  in the angle of 90o and error rate8.9%. Classification error occured because the value of the test data features is more dominant with the value of the training image features in different classes than the supposed class.  Another reason is because of imperfect test data.

Abstract

Shuttle Bus Universitas Lampung merupakan moda transportasi lokal di dalam kampus. Penggunaan shuttle busdapat ditingkatkan dengan adanya sistem informasi yang dikontrol langsung oleh driver. Penyampaian informasimenggunakan Global Positioning System pada smartphone android secara real time. Sistem ini dibangunmenggunakan metode prototyping. Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode blackbox, pengujian data, dan Hasilnyasistem informasi dapat menampilkan posisi shuttle bus yang sedang beroperasi, kondisi penuh atau tidaknyashuttle bus, dan estimasi waktu perjalanan. Selain itu hasil User Acceptance Test masuk dalam kategori baik,efisiensi data base dan diketahui bahwa waktu untuk melalui semua halte di Universitas Lampung berkisar 11menit.Kata Kunci : Shuttle Bus, Smartphone, GPS (Global Positioning System)
