Abstract

This study was aimed to examine the effectiveness of e-accounting module integrated character values to improve students’ learning outcomes and honesty. This was motivated by lack of students' understanding of accounting materials so that students tended to take dishonest actions like cheating while doing assignments or examinations. Honesty is one of the characters developed in many curriculla, so that honest character needs to be integrated in learning activities. The data collected in this study were the data on students’ learning outcomes collected through multiple choice tests and the data on students’ honesty collected through questionnaires. Students’ learning outcomes data were analyzed through independent sample t test and the data on students' honesty were analyzed descriptively by narrative. The t test results obtained sig values 0.014 < 0.05 so that there were significant differences between the learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control class. The results of the questionnaire analysis showed that the students’ honesty level of the experimental class was in a very good category and the control class was in the good category.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out any factors which influence the learning achievement of productive subject of skill accounting program student at SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta, school year 2007-2008.The method has been used in this research is quantitative descriptive. The population is 237 student of grade X, XI, and XII of skill accounting program student SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta, school year 2007-2008. The technique sampling is Cluster Random Sampling, 113 student.  The collecting data technique which has been used is observation, questionnaire, interview and documentation. Based on the data analysis and the discussion, it can be concluded that there are nine factors which influence the learning achievement of productive subject of skill accounting program student. That is (1) relationship factor, (2) self-potential and learning factor, (3) fatigue factor, (4) family factor, (5) student learning condition factor, (6) learning facility factor, (7) physical and psychological factor, (8) willingness factor, and (9) economical factor. Based on the data analysis and discussion, it also can be concluded that all variables which group becoming six factors hypnotized in this research is accepted as new factor which influence the learning achievement of productive subject of skill accounting program student although social factor, in fact, doesn’t influence the learning achievement of productive subject of skill accounting program student.

Abstract

The culture Digital Natives Generations (DNG) are important considerations for lecturers in designing their courses because they are a generation that is very familiar with the technology. The DNG will feel pressured if the learning process is similar to that of the previous generation. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the effect of cultural values in the classroom that may lead to the academic stress of DNG. The research uses quantitative research methods. The instruments of cultural values in the classroom refer to Hofstede's cultural dimension, while Academic Stress (AS) refers to Gadzella?s Student-Life Stress Inventory, with 152 respondents representing students at Sebelas Maret University Indonesia. Data analysis was performed using simple regression analysis with the aid of MINITAB. The results show that there are significant influence of cultural values in the classroom Power Distance (PD), collectivism individualism (CI), feminism masculinity (FM), uncertainty avoidance (UAI), and long-term orientation (LTO) on AS (p < 0.05). The results of the study could be utilized to determine the cultural values in the classroom that could be incorporated into the design of learning models so as to minimize the AS of DNG at higher education.

Abstract

Has conducted research on the development of scientific learning-based module to increase the ability to create students in the learning process accounting. Target of trial module is student from XII IPS 1 SMA N 1 Slogohimo in 2014/2015 academic year, while target of modules development is XII IPS 2 (treatment class) and XII IPS Bio (control class) at SMA N 1 Slogohimo in 2014 / 2015 academic year.The test result shows that the instrument is valid to be used for research with excellent value: materials expert 83, 16%, media specialists 84,17% and practitioners 88%. The test results obtained excellent achievement percentage of 85.7%. The results showed that the Economics module in accounting section based on scientific learning approach is effective to improve the ability of creative learners to obtain significant value = 0.007 ≤ 0.05 at effectiveness test of the control class and treatment class. Further, the average value of the creating ability in treatment class is 80.45 and control class is 69.17. This value indicates that achievement of the treatment class is higher than the control class

Abstract

In digital era, the role of media as a helping tool in the process of teaching learning is very important. It is also the right choice in improving the quality of education. The purpose of this research is to find out whether archived e-book based curriculum 2013 which has been developed is effective to improve the learning outcomes at SMK 1 Surakarta in 2016. This was a research and development study. The data for the media developed used Sigil software with the help of Supreader software. The instrument was validated by experts. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire and tests. Interviews and observations were analyzed with descriptive qualitative, whereas the questionnaire and test were analyzed by descriptive quantitative tests. This study used SPSS 20 and IBM software to calculate the data. Based on the analysis, the mean score of experimental group was 81.25 and the control group was 75.94 for their post-test. The t-test score for t-observed was 2.53 meanwhile the t-table was 2.00. The null hypothesis was rejected because t-observes was higher than t-table. It implied that the experimental group performed better than the control group. The conclusion was that learning media using archived e-book based curriculum 2013 was effective to improve learning outcomes. It was based on the t-test calculation in the significant error of 0.05. So there was a significant difference between the mean score of experimental and control group. Keywords: Development, Archived E-Book, Curriculum 2013, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: Untuk mengetahui faktor psikomotor yang menentukan kemampuan groundstroke forehand tenis lapangan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan rancangananalisis faktor konfirmatori. Data yang telah dikumpulkan akan diolah dan dianalisa menggunakan Program Statistik Komputerisasi dengan sistem SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) Versi 23 dan menggunakan uji Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin and Bartletts Test. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa pembinaan prestasi tenis lapangan FKIP UNS Surakarta yang berjumlah 40 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah total sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan tes dan pengukuran. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: faktor psikomotor yang menentukan kemampuan groundstroke forehand tenis lapangan atau yang memiliki nilai komponen faktor ? ?0,5?adalah: kecepatan dengan nilai komponen faktor sebesar (0,91), daya tahan kardiovaskular dengan nilai komponen faktor sebesar (0,79), kordinasi mata tangan dengan nilai komponen faktor sebesar (0,50), kelincahan dengan nilai komponen faktor sebesar (0,79), Faktor biomotor dan psikomotor yang kurang dominan penentu kemampuan groundstroke forehand tenis lapangan adalah keseimbangan (0,37). Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: faktor psikomotor yang menentukan kemampuan groundstroke forehand yang paling dominan psikomotor adalah kecepatan dengan nilai (0,91).The purpose of this study is: To find out the factors of psychomotor determining tennis groundstroke forehand ability. This research method is using a quantitative approach and confirmatory factor analysis design. The data collected will be processed and analyzed using Statistical Program Computerized system with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) Version 23 and try-out Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin and Bartletts Test. The population in this study was 40 students of coaching achievement tennis FKIP UNS Surakarta. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data collection techniques were used test and measurement. The results of this study were as follows: biomotor and psychomotor factors which determines the tennis ability of forehand groundstrokes that have components value factor ? ?0,5? is: speed with the factors component value of (0.91), cardiovascular endurance the factors component value of (0.79), hand-eye coordination with the factors component value of (0.50), agility with the factors component value of (0.79). The conclusions of this study were as follows: psychomotor was the most dominant factors determining the ability of the forehand groundstrokes. psychomotorfactor wass the speed with the value (0.91).

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Rendahnya prestasi belajar siswa dapat disebabkan karena guru kurang tepat dalam memilih dan menerapkan metode pembelajaran yang sesuai untuk menyampaikan materi pelajaran. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan guru untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa yaitu dengan menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran pendekatan pembelajaran Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran CTL terhadap prestasi belajar ekonomi siswa. (2) pengaruh kemampuan awal siswa terhadap prestasi belajar ekonomi siswa. (3) pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran CTL terhadap prestasi belajar ekonomi ditinjau dari kemampuan awal siswa.Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen) dengan desain faktorial 2x3, dan dengan rancangan penelitian pre-test post-test control-group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Tumijajar Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Teknik penggumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode dokumentasi dan metode tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis variansi dua jalan sel tak sama.Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan: (1) Terdapat pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran CTL terhadap prestasi belajar siswa Fhitung &gt; Ftabel atau 5,819&gt;4,00 (2) Terdapat pengaruh tingkat kemampuan awal siswa tinggi, sedang, dan rendah terhadap prestasi belajar siswa Fhitung &gt; Ftabel atau 22,903&gt;3,15. 3) Terdapat pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran CTL terhadap prestasi belajar siswa ditinjau dari kemampuan awal siswa Fhitung &gt; Ftabel atau 5,786&gt;3,15. Dengan demikian hasil penelitian dengan pendekatan pembelajaran CTL lebih baik daripada siswa yang diajarkan dengan pendekatan pembelajaran konvensional. Prestasi belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan pendekatan pembelajaran CTL pada kemampuan awal awal siswa menunjukan adanya pengaruh.

Abstract

Background: The learning model that applied on the economic subject in the WARGA High School of Surakarta nowadays much emphasizes on the conventional learning model, then the problems is the low of student learning motivation and memory capacity that has the effect on the bad result of student a chievement, that is just 47% of 155 social students in XI Grade of WARGA High School of Surakarta above the passing grade. By using the cooperative learning model of Jigsaw type, it is expected the result of student a chievement on economic subject matter will be improved. This research is aimed to know the influence of cooperative learning model of Jigsaw type on the increasing of student learning motivation, memory capacity and the result of student achievement on economic subject matter.Subjects and Methods: This research was a classroom action research that conducted in the two cycles and each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, monitoring and reflection. The subjects of research were 155 students of first semester in XI Grade of social class WARGA High School of Surakarta. The data sources were the student, venue and the phenomenon of learning process and documentation. The method of data collection were questionnaire, observation and interview. The validation of data was internal validation. The data analysis was qualitative analysis.Results: The result of research shows that before using the cooperative learning model of jigsaw type, the student learning motivation is just about 43.0, that means the number of students that achieve the passing grade are 15 students or 41.67% of classical completeness. In the I cycle the average score is increased becomes 53.4 with the number of students that achieve the passing grade are 23 students or 63.89% of the classical completeness. It is continued in the II cycle in which the decided target of the researcher is passed over by the average score is 56.0 by the classical completeness of 83.33%, that means 30 students of 36 have the high motivation. The beginning memory capacity of students is 50.08 by the classical completeness is 50.00%, those are 18 students. In the I cycle the score is improved to be 57.08 by the classical completeness is 69.44%, those are 25 students. In the II cycle, the score becomes 60 and the classical completeness is 80.56%, those are 29 students. The earlier result of study in the XI grade social class with the passing grade of 70.0 just has the score of 62 with the classical completeness of 44.00%. In the I cycle, the result of study gets the classical completeness of 63.0% with the average score is 73. In the II cycle, the target is overcome, in which the result is 80 with the classical completeness of 80.09%.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh penggunaan tipe pembelajaran Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) terhadap prestasi belajar akuntansi siswa, (2) pengaruh aktivitas belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar akuntansi siswa, (3) pengaruh interaksi tipe pembelajaran Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) dengan aktivitas belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar akuntansi siswa.Metode: Penelitian ini termasuk eksperimental semu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA N 1 Kartasura Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode dokumentasi, tes dan angket.Hasil: Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Anava dua jalan dengan sel tak sama, dengan taraf signifikansi 5%, diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut: (1) penggunaan metode pembelajaran berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar akuntansi, (2) aktivitas belajar siswa berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar akuntansi siswa, (3) interaksi metode pembelajaran dengan aktivitas belajar siswa berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar akuntansi siswa. Hasil uji komparasi ganda dengan metode Scheffe, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) metode TAI menghasilkan prestasi belajar yang lebih baik daripada metode ceramah, (2) Prestasi belajar siswa yang mempunyai aktivitas belajar tinggi dan sedang lebih baik dari pada siswa yang mempunyai aktivitas belajar rendah, (3) Tidak ada perbedaan prestasi belajar siswa yang melakukan pembelajaran TAI dengan aktivitas belajar tinggi, sedang, dan rendah.
