Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effect of different concentrations of yeast in making tempeh from seed karet.Rancangan completely randomized (CRD) was used with two (2) yeast replication factor I concentrations (K) comprises 4 levels, yaituK1 = 0.2%, K2 = 0.4%, 0.6% = K3, and K4 = 0.8%. factor of 2 long fermentation (L) comprises 4 levels ie L1 = 12 hours = 24 hours L2, L3 = 36jam, L4 = 48 hours. The concentration of yeast members very real effect on carbohydrate carbohydrates where K1 is the highest at 8.850% was the highest carbohydrate fermentation contained in L1 is 8.360%. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Extract Bamboo Shoots ( shoots ) and compost on growth of oil palm seedlings in the Main Nursery . Experiments conducted at the Faculty of Agricultural Land Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra , on January to May 2012 . The design used a randomized block design ( Randoimized Block Design ) factorial with three replications . Consists of two factors studied , bamboo shoots extract factor 0 cc / l of water plot ( B0 ) , 30 cc / l of water plot ( B1 ) , and 50 cc / l of water plot ( B2 ) , and compost factor 0.9 kg / plot ( K1 ) , 1.8 kg / plot ( K2 ) , and 3.6 kg / plot ( K3 ) . The parameters measured are higher palm oil plant seeds , leaf number , stem diameter , stem fresh weight , root fresh weight , dry weight of stem and root dry weight of oil palm seedlings . The study states bamboo shoots extract showed no apparent influence on all parameters were observed , whereas treatment with compost showed a significant effect on all parameters . For the interaction effect of treatment also showed no significant effect on all parameters.Keywords: rebung, compost, palm oil sawit, main nursery

Abstract

The research objective was to determine growth and yield of sweet corn through the application of organic manure and compost cow urine oil palm empty fruit bunches. This study was conducted in June 2015 to August 2015 in the research field Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) subdistrict Percut Sei Tuan, Deli Serdang, with altitude ± 25 m above sea level. This study uses a randomized block design (RAK) factorial with two factors, namely Liquid Organic Fertilizer Urine Cow (S) with 4 levels, namely S0 = 0 ml/tanaman, S1 = 40 ml / plant, S2 = 80 ml / plant and S3 = 120 ml / plant. The second factor is a factor Compost Oil Palm Empty Fruit Bunch (K) with 3 levels, namely K1 = 1.5 kg / plot, K2 = 3 kg / plot and K3 = 4.5 kg / plot. The parameters used in the study that plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, days to flowering, weight cob with husk per plant, weight of cob without husk per plant, weight of cob without husk per plot, diameter cob without husk, length of cob without husk, and the number of rows per ear. The data were analyzed using ANOVA and continued with different test Mean according to Duncan (DMRT) with a level of 5%. The results showed that administration of liquid organic fertilizer of cow urine with dose 120 ml / plant)gave the highest growth in plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, days to flowering and production weights cob without husk per plant, weight of cob without husk per plot, length cob without husk, the number of rows per ear, composting empty oil palm bunches dose 4.5 kg / plot gave the highest growth in plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, days to flowering and production weights cob without husk per plant, weight of cobs without husk per plot, the length of the cob without husk, the number of rows per ear, while the provision of liquid organic fertilizer of cow urine at a dose of 120 ml / plant and compost empty fruit bunches of palm oil at a dose of 3 kg / plot gives the highest production on the weight of cob without husk per plant, giving liquid organic fertilizer cow urine at a dose of 80 ml / compost plants and oil palm empty fruit bunches at a dose of 4.5 kg / plot gives the highest production on the cob without husk weight per plot.Keywords: sweet corn , fertilizer liquid organic cow urine , compost oil palm empty fruit bunches

Abstract

This study used a randomized block design Factorial with two factors, namely the differences of some type sour orange (Citrus sp) (J) with 3 levels ie J1 citrus musk (Citrus mitis), J2 lime, J3 (Citrus hystrix). The second factor is the provision of onion extract concentration (B) with 3 traf, namely (B1) onion extract concentration of 25%, (B2) onion extract concentration of 50%, (B3) concentration of garlic extract merah75%. The results showed growth of shoot cuttings of lemon give the best effect against high Parameter shoots, number of leaves, number of shoot and root length. Onion extract with a concentration of 75% effect on age parameters appear shoots, shoot height, leaf number, number of shoot and root length. There is no interaction between several types of sour orange and red onion extract concentration levels on all parameters of observation.Keyword:  Concentration, Extrack Onion ,  Acid Orange
