Abstract

In general, any house or other building has the potential to experience fire. It requires fire detection devices as tools for early and effective fire prevention. The purpose of this research is to design and create an image based fire alarm system by using computer (PC) and a webcam as the main equipment to detect the presence of fire based on RGB colour values of fire from the recorded image. The recorded image by webcam will be processed on a computer (PC) via java program has been created in which the algorithm to detect the presence of fire by fire RGB colour value. From the test results obtained the RGB colour value of fire that can be detected by image-based fire alarm system for red (R), green (G), and blue (B) were 229-246, 188-212, and 100 -110, respectively. The program also set to emit a sound when a fire is detected.   Keyword :Fire Detection system, fire image, fire detection program

Abstract

Langkah menghemat penggunaan energi listrik adalah mengurangi pemakaian energi listrik yang digunakan untuk penerangan. Penggunaan jenis lampu yang berbeda seperti  LED, PIJAR, LHE dan TL dengan daya yang jauh berbeda tetapi lumen yang hampir sama besarnya berpengaruh pada energi yang terpakai. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah lampu LHE, lampu LED, lampu TL, dan lampu Pijar, sedangkan variable terikatnya adalah energi yang terpakai selama 1 bulan. Subjek penelitian ini Lab. Teknik Listrik, Kampus Politeknik Kotabaru Kabupaten Kotabaru Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan.Dengan jenis penelitian kuantitatif adalah penelitian secara langsung pada obyek penelitian dimana data yang diperoleh berdasarkan hasil identifikasi di lapangan / pengukuran. Pengukuran menggunakan alat ukur watt meter dan lux meter. Hasil pengukuran untuk variable bebas lampu Pijar (40 watt, lumen), LED ( 4 watt, lumen), LHE ( 8 watt, lumen) dan TL (10 watt, lumen) mempengaruhi variable terikat selama 1 (satu) bulan dapat dilihat ternyata lampu tipe LED yang lebih efiesien dari pada lampu yang lain. Keutungan dari penggunaan lampu LED dibandingkan dengan yang lain yaitu  pengeluaran biaya pembayaran rekening listrik lebih kecil dari pada lampu Pijar, LHE dan TL.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze: (1) The pattern of food consumption of households of fishermen Bajo in the village of Banu-Banua Jaya subdistrict Kulisusu North Buton, (2) The type of food consumed by households fishermen Bajo in the village of Banu-BANUA Jaya subdistrict Kulisusu District North Buton as a source of carbohydrates, protein and vitamins and (3) the relationship between the level of income by the number of types of food sources of carbohydrates, protein and vitamins that are consumed by households in the village of Bajo fishermen Banu-BANUA Jaya subdistrict Kulisusu North Buton. This research was conducted in November and December 2016. The samples were done by simple random method by taking a sample of 15% of the total population of 207 families, as many as 31 people. The data was processed using descriptive analysis and Pearson correlation analysis. The results showed that: (1) Household Bajo fishermen in the village of Banu-BANUA Jaya have food consumption patterns that vary at the time of breakfast, lunch, supper, dinner and midnight. Foodstuffs consumed include: rice, fish, vegetables, eggs, instant noodle, and pastries, (2) Type of food sources of carbohydrates are consumed fisherman Bajo is rice, instant noodle, cake, cassava and kansoami then sources of protein are fish and eggs , while the source of the vitamin only from vegetables and banana, (3) revenues have a strong enough relationship and significant with the number of types of food sources of carbohydrates and protein, high and low income means followed by a great variety of food sources of carbohydrates and protein consumed. While the types of food sources of vitamin ties are weak and insignificant and minerals have no relation to income, meaning that high and low income is not followed by a great variety of food sources of vitamins and minerals are consumed.
