Abstract

Rumah sakit merupakan fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan bagi masyarakat yang senantiasa dituntut untuk melakukan peningkatan kualitas pelayanan untuk memenuhi kepuasan pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis kepuasan pasien rawat inap di ruangan Penyakit Dalam terhadap pelayanan di Instalasi Farmasi RSUD dr. Soedarso Pontianak periode Desember 2011 – Ferbruari 2012. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien maupun keluarga pasien yang pernah mendapatkan pelayanan di Instalasi Farmasi RSUD dr. Soedarso Pontianak. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 172 orang. Proses pengumpulan data primer dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen penelitian dalam bentuk kuesioner dan  pengolahan data untuk mengetahui validitas dan reliabilitas kuesioner menggunakan program SPSS 17 forwindows. Variabel  bebas yang digunakan yaitu dimensi berwujud, dimensi keandalan, dimensi ketanggapan, dimensi jaminan, dan dimensi  empati. Sedangkan variabel terikatnya yaitu tingkat kepuasan  pasien rawat inap di ruangan Penyakit Dalam terhadap pelayanan  di Instalasi Farmasi RSUD dr. Soedarso. Analisis kepuasan pada  penelitian ini menggunakan model Weighted Servqual. Hasil  penelitian diperoleh indeks kepuasan secara keseluruhan sebesar  -0.92. Sedangkan indeks kepuasan untuk setiap dimensi adalah  sebagai berikut: -1.15 untuk dimensi jaminan, -0.91 dimensi  keandalan, -0.88 dimensi empati, -0.86 dimensi berwujud dan -0.76 untuk dimensi ketanggapan. Indeks kepuasan baik secara  keseluruhan maupun setiap dimensi menunjukkan nilai negatif  yang berarti pasien masih belum merasa puas terhadap pelayanan  di Instalasi Farmasi RSUD dr. Soedarso Pontianak. Kata kunci: tingkat kepuasan, harapan, kenyataan, dimensi kepuasan

Abstract

Brief Illness Perception Questionnaire (B-IPQ) Instrument is a questionnaire to identify and assess the patients perception of the disease, especially patients with chronic diseases. Chronic renal failure (CRF) is one of incurable diseases with the expensive cost of care and treatment. B-IPQ instrument has never been used yet in Indonesia to assess patients’ perceptions of chronic renal failure which have experience haemodialysis especially in Pontianak, West Kalimantan. The aim of this study was to determine the validity and reliability of B-IPQ instrument in Indonesian version on CRF patients at haemodialysis room RSUD Dokter Soedarso Pontianak. This study was a non-experimental study using cross-sectional method and prospective data collection. The sample is selected using non-probability sampling method rather purposive sampling technique, 30 CRF patients who had haemodialysis in November-December 2016 were taken as respondent. The validity test was conducted using Pearson correlation (correlation values ≥0.3) and reliability test using internal consistency (Cronbach alpha coefficient ≥0.7) technique. Validity test results showed a correlation value of each question was >0.3 (p: 0.05) and reliability test results showed Cronbach alpha coefficient was 0.755>0.7 (p: 0.05). The conclusion of this study was the B-IPQ instrument in Indonesian version is valid and reliable to measure the chronic renal failure patients’perception at haemodialysis room RSUD Dokter Soedarso Pontianak. Hence B-IPQ Indonesian version can be used directly to measure the perception of the disease in patients with CRF in order to help improve the quality of life of patients.

Abstract

Hypertension is still a health problem for the elderly group. The misperception about hypertension still occurs to the elderly. They often ignore hypertension and it impact their quality of life. The aim of this study is to obtain patient perceptions and the elderly?s quality of life who are experiencing hypertension, also the relationship between patient perceptions and the elderly?s quality of life who are experiencing hypertension at Sultan Syarif Mohamad Alkadrie Hospital Pontianak. This study was observational with analytival survey design. EQ-5D-3L (EuroQol five dimensions and B-IPQ (Brief Illness Perception Questionnaire) Indonesian version are instruments used which were valid and reliable. The subjects were hypertensive outpatient attending Sultan Syarif Mohamad Alkadrie Hospital Pontianak at aged> 60 years. The sample size was 118 respondents which were obtained from purposive technique sampling. Data was collected through B-IPQ instruments to measure patient perceptions, and EQ-5D-3L to measure patients' quality of life. The relationship between perception and quality of life was analyzed using Fisher's Exact Test with a 95% confidence level (? = 0.05). The results showed the percentage of respondents who had a positive perception was 74.22%, and  good quality of life was 76.56%. The results of statistical analysis show there is a significant relationship between patient perceptions and the quality of life of elderly patients who experience hypertension at Sultan Syarif Mohamad Alkadrie Hospital Pontianak with value of p = 0,000.
