Abstract

Several studies indicated the low creative thinking skills of vocational high school students. The objective of this study is to describe the application of discovery learning models to improve the ability of the teachers to manage learning, student activities during the learning process, the student learning outcomes in terms of creative thinking skills, and the student responses to the learning activities. The research subjects were 35 students from the study program of Catering Food Service in a Public Vocational High School, SMK N 6 Surabaya. The lesson plan included the syllabus, learning implementation plans, student activity sheets, and assessment. Meanwhile, the data collection instruments included tests, observations, and questionnaires. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and t-test. The results showed that discovery learning model could improve the teacher's ability to manage the learning, students? activities, learning outcomes of creative thinking skills, and students? responses.

Abstract

Schizophrenia is the main problem of mental disorder in the world. Most of patients that enter the psychiatric hospital suffer from schizophrenia (85% with schizophrenia). Violent act upon the schizophrenia patients is in line, the rate of nursing diagnose patients who suffer from violent act is the largest number on patient with mental disorder. There are various therapy activities of energy distribution group developed and researched; among them are with gymnastics medium. There are still few review studies on the effects of aerobics gymnastics and poco-poco gymnastics physical energy distribution on schizophrenia patients in reducing the rate of violent act. The objective of the systematic review is to evaluate the effects of aerobics gymnastics and poco-poco gymnastics physical energy distribution on schizophrenia patients in reducing the rate of violent act. Literature searching is conducted on Google Scholar. The study is published in Bahasa Indonesia. There are 578,000 articles found, however only 3 studies fulfill the search criteria. The result of this review shows that the therapy group activity of aerobics gymnastics and poco-poco gymnastics can reduce the rate of violent act. It improves the score of aggression self-control. This intervention can be conducted easily and inexpensively on the institutions providing mental health services.

Abstract

 AbstractThe presidentâ??Jokowi, has a mandate from the people to make Indonesia to be more equitable and prosperous. In order to fulfill this mandate, he has set nine priority programs known as the concept of Nawa Cipta. This program calls for concrete steps so as not merely a wish list. The most fundamental thing in economics field is how the constitutional mandate that the right to dominate the state can be realized in the management of economic activities, including in dealing with foreign economic domination in IndonesiaKeywords: implementation, the right to dominate the state, foreign economic domination.  AbstrakPresiden Jokowi telah mendapatkan mandat dari rakyat untuk mewujudkan Indonesia yang lebih adil dan sejahtera. Dalam rangka memenuhi mandat tersebut, telah ditetapkan sembilan program prioritas       yang dikenal dengan konsep Nawa Cipta. Program ini tentunya memerlukan langkah-langkah kongkret sehingga tidak sekedar menjadi daftar keinginan. Hal yang paling mendasar dalam bidang ekonomi adalah bagaimana amanat konstitusi yakni hak menguasai negara dapat diwujudkan dalam pengelolaan kegiatan perekonomian, termasuk dalam mengatasi dominasi perekonomian asing di Indonesia.  Kata kunci: implementasi, hak menguasai negara, dominasi perekonomian asing

Abstract

In order to achieve national development goals in the field of children health, the government is committed to enhancing the growth and development of children through the “Early Stimulation, Detection and Intervention for Growth and Development of Children (ESDIGDC)” Program. Efforts to improve the health status of children is very important, because in addition to being the target of health development, it also becomes an indicator of the health status of children is to prepare children to achieve optimal growth and development . This  study  aimed to analyze the influence of organizational commitment on the performance of kindergarten  teacher in implementation of ESDIGDC Program. The subjects of this cross sectional study were 68 kindergarten teacher at Panekan Sub District, Magetan District, East Java Province,  Indonesia.  Data  were  collected through  questionnaires and then analyzed using linear regression. The results showed that p-value = 0.001 (significant), so it could be concluded  that  there was the influence of organizational commitment on the performance of kindergarten teacher in implementation of ESDIGDC.

Abstract

Sociodrama method for improve learning outcomes civic education students of class VI SD Negeri 014 Rambah Hilir Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. The sociodrama method is way of teaching to give chance for students and perform certain role playing activities to teching and learning concerning human behavior in community life with social purpose. This method can to improve ability learning of civic education for students of class VI SD Negeri 014 Rambah Hilir, this is proven with this method the students very excited for study and can to expressed his opinion. Using this method the writer to present lesion the material in away gives the activities for students for gives good deeds both physical and non physical. And than preparation were done on the basis of an event in a predetermined situation and condition. Proved to be an increase of cycle I until cycle II this learning is success

Abstract

Introduction: The success of “Alert villages” (“alert village”) can be explained using an independence-based "community empowerment model", involving factors of physical capital, human capital, social capital and community empoweredness. Method: This model was developed with a cros sectional design involving physical capital, human capital, social capital, community empoweredness, and “alert village” success. The research subjects were 216 implementers of “alert village” in Panekan Sub-district, Magetan District, selected by cluster sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, then analyzed using structural equation modeling based on partial least square. Result: The success of “alert village” wass influenced by: 1) physical capital with total effect of 0.105360; 2) social capital with total effect 0.774022, 3) community empoweredness with total effect 0.952891. Analysis: The success of “alert village” was determined by a direct determinant of community empoweredness and two indirect determinants of physical capital and social capital. Discussion: In the model of community empowerment in the implementation of “alert village” in Panekan Sub-district, the success of “alert village” was determined by 2 main factors in sequence, namely: 1) community empoweredness that included the ability to identify and develop potential, identify and prioritize problems, solve the problem; 2) social capital that included social network, level of trust between people, obedience to norm, caring for others, and involvement in implementation.

Abstract

Parents sometime makes mistake to carry out their children because unknown about how to guide and parenting goodly. If this condition continues, growth and development of children will be delay. Guidance can be given by nurse to parents about step of development with simple counseling, interview and giving module, the parents will know what will happen and can fulfill the needs appropriate with children’s age. The aimed of this research to know effect of development stimulation education to knowledge and development stimulation practice in pediatric by parents at PAUD Kalisari Pasar Rebo. This research has used quasy experimental with non equivalent control group with thirty children were categorized into the intervention group (case 15) and the control group (N=15) by using consecutive sampling. The data was gathering instruments questionnaires which include demographic information, knowledge and observation of development practice by Develompent stimulation pre questionnaire, the government standard of instrument for parents and children. Hypothesis has analyzed by different mean test of two groups (intervention and control). Result of this research showed there was mean different between control and intervention group before and after intervention. Based on the result education about development stimulation should be given by nurse to parents in the community accourding to step of children development.
