Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of an implementation of green marketing strategies and consumer characteristics on product choice decision. Implementation of green marketing strategies such as: product, price, promotion, and distribution channel. The characteristics of consumer such as: consumer awareness, and gender. The research sample is 100 AMDK consumers in Surakarta taken by using purposive sampling technique. Many variables measured by using a Likert scale, exception for variable of gender and product choice decision. To determine the effect of product, price, promotion, distribution channel, consumer awareness, and gender variables on products choice decision used logistic regression analysis. Based on data analysis, product (B = 2,489), price (B = -3,278), and distribution (B = 2,882), and gender (B = -4161) significantly effect on AMDK product choice decision. While the promotion (B = -0,313) and consumer awareness (B = 1,861) not significantly effect on AMDK product choice decision.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) Mendeskripsikan implementasi program bauran pemasaran STMIK Duta Bangsa Surakarta.2) Menganalisis pengaruh program bauran pemasaran STMIK Duta Bangsa Surakarta terhadap minat masuk bagi para siswa lulusan SMA.3) Menganalisis variabel yang paling dominan berpengaruh terhadap minat masuk para siswa lulusan SMA ke STMIK Duta Bangsa Surakarta. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa variabel yang mempengaruhi secara signifikan dalam pengambilan keputusan siswa masuk di STMIK Duta Bangsa adalah produk, lokasi, promosi, personel dan proses. Sedang variabel yang tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan dalam pengambilan keputusan siswa adalah harga dan kondisi fisik. Dalam penelitian ini masih ada kekurangan yang perlu dikaji ulang, sehingga diharapkan untuk peneliti selanjutnya dapat melengkapi atau bahkan menyempurnakan penelitian yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya.

Abstract

Globalization and liberalization form a new dimension in trading. To facing emulation in theglobal stage, each state in the world tries to improve its competitiveness especially in manufacturing andservices sector. The lawful food industries are not quit of this phenomenon. Abstract

This article describes the phenomenon of currency exchange when there is high inflation in a countryor it’s referred to dollarization. The phenomenonof high inflation also occurred in Indonesia in recent years when the economic crisis. This article tries to examine whether there dollarization in 1997 until 2004.The results showed that there has been exchange of currency or dollarization is significant when the economic crisis and its aftermath.

Abstract

Since the early Islamic period zakat on agriculture sectors were being collected limitedonly on primary traditional sources such as paddy, wheat, camel, cow and goat. However in themodern time today agriculture sector has been commercialized. Farmers regardless of theiractivities, were capable of yielding good returns probably higher than the traditional sourc es ofzakat. The question is, are these farmers not obliged to pay zakat and what is the possibility ofwidening zakat base on agriculture sector. In this regards this study attempts to examine thepossibilities of widening agriculture zakat base, and then evaluating people perception andanalyzing the challenges. This study utilizes primary data for Malaysia and uses descriptiveanalysis and logit model in analyzing the data. The results show that based on income criteriathere are possibilities to extend agriculture zakat base and this step is expected to received goodresponse from the society. However there are challenges to be faced such as identifying theillah for zakat on uncensunsus wealth and determining the procedure for calculating zakat onagriculture sector since different types of plants possess different characteristics. Policyimplication that can be deduced from this study is that in order to hinder any difficulties there isa need for the government to establishing a separate law for zakat on agriculture sector.

Abstract

Abstract

The earnings management practice has a positive and negative perspectives. This study aimed to analyze the effect of earnings management, corporate performance, quality audits, and Investment opportunity set to cost of equity companies are included in the Islamic index (JII) and conventional index (LQ-45). Measuring the earnings management used a short-term discretionary accruals (STDA) model. There were 461 companies (257 companies LQ-45 and 204 companies JII) taken by purposive sampling. Data was analyzed using multiple linear regression. Result of the data analysis showed that earnings management and company performance has no significantly effect on the cost of equity in both companies as well as JII and LQ-45. The quality of audit has significantly effect on the cost of equity in the JII companies, but had not significantly effect on the LQ-45 companies. And the investment opportunity set significantly effect on the cost of equity as well as in both of JII and LQ-45 companies. This indicates the earnings management in Indonesia tend to use a negative or opportunistic perspectives. Keywords: earnings management, corporate performance, quality audits, investment opportunity set, cost of equity capital.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is 1 ) to describe the implementation of the marketing mix program STMIK Surakarta.2 Nations Ambassador ) to analyze the effect of marketing mix program STMIK Nations Ambassador Surakarta against interest in. SMA.3 for graduate students ) to analyze the most dominant variables affect the interestof incoming graduate students SMA to STMIK Nations Ambassador Surakarta. The analysis showed that the variables that signifi cantly affect the decision making of students entering in STMIK Nations Ambassador is a product, location, promotion, personnel and process. Moderate variables did not signifi cantly in the decisionmaking of students is the price and physical condition. In this study, there are still shortcomings that need to be reviewed, so that further research can be expected to complement or even enhance the research that has been done before.
