Abstract

This research aimed to design a strategy to develop character learning mathematics students that were based on the values of Islam. This study were in the frame of research and development method using qualitative approach. Subject of this research was the first year of undergraduate students of mathematics education department who took basic mathematics courses. Mathematics learning strategies in developing th character were designed in three stages to develop students character. The first stage was the inculcation. At this stage, lecturer facilitated students with activities that were able to raise awareness of the value of the character in learning. The second stage was Implementation where the lecturers facilitated student learning activities that fostered character value. Activities fostered values characters implicitly include group discussion, problems solving, seeking information from various sources, preparations reports, and presentations. The final stage was reflection, where the lecturer together with students did reflection on themselves and on the values of the characters that had not been well grown in learning. The results of interview with students suggest that the use of learning strategies has a positive impact on student character development.

Abstract

Kegiatan menyimak yang merupakan proses interaktif harus disampaikandalam pembelajaran sebagai sebuah proses interaktifuntuk meningkatkan motivasi mahasiswa. Pada umumnya, pelajaranlistening di perguruan tinggi sangat bergantung pada kegiatan yangmonoton. Masalah serupa muncul di mata kuliah Listening I padaprodi Tadris Inggris Jurusan Tarbiyah STAIN Ponorogo. Oleh karenaitu, penelitian berkaitan dengan strategi pengajaran yang memotivasiyang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak mahasiswa. Strategiyang diusulkan di sini termasuk penggunaan (STAD) dengan menggunakanmedia podcast. Untuk memecahkan permasalahan diatasmaka peneliti menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yangdisajikandalam 2 (dua) siklus. Dalam setiap siklusnya melaluialur PTK yang terdiri dari 4 (empat) tahap, yaitu perencanaan,pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkanbahwa penggunaan podcast dalam strategi (STAD) dapatmeningkatkan: (1) partisipasi mahasiswa dalam diskusi kelompok,(2) prestasi belajar dan (3) respon positif.

Abstract

Facing the business challenges of MEA Era is a challenge that should be faced by us, as an Educator I feel compelled to be able to participate in the success of my students, to face the challenge. The purpose of this study is not only for the Financial Statements of Bazaar, but also seek emphasis on the experience of an entrepreneurial process because through the Bazaar students are required to interact with people, how to offer well and politely to consumers, convince consumers to buy the products they offer and give explanation and the best service for consumers to be satisfied. Based on the result of observations which are conducted by the researcher as many as 15 times, SWOT observation analysis is with an average amount of 65.5% in GOOD Category. The results of financial statements analysis each group to see three important elements are: Elements Report L /R with the percentage of 56.09% High category, Elements of Capital Changes with the percentage of 78.05% Very High category, and Element Balance with the percentage of Current Assets 63.67%, High category, Fixed Assets 14.38% Low category and Liability 78.05% Very High category. This bazaar activity is very useful for students to gain experience and learning to become entrepreneurs. This activity is a very useful activity for students especially students of Accounting Education Studies Program FKIP University PGRI Palembang. By doing this activity, the students are expected to know how to offer and market a product that they make themselves well, and students can know more how to interact well and politely with consumers or customers.

Abstract

Ekonomi Kreatif, itulah yang selalu digaungkan oleh Pemerintah. Peneliti memberikan pembekalan, pengetahuan dan bimbingan kewirausahaan baik secara teori maupun praktek agar mahasiswa mampu melakukan perancangan usaha, pemilihan tempat usaha, jenis usaha, komoditi marketing plan, merintis, melaksanaan dan mengembangkan profesi wirausahan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah bagai mana membangkitkan kreatifitas, semangat, karakteristik dan jiwa berwirausaha dengan memanfaatkan limbah lingkuan yang berbentuk Kertas, Kardus, Kain, Kulit Telur, Kayu, Plastik, Biji dan Ban Motor (K5PBB) untuk di olah menjadi produk kreatif dan menghasilkan nilai ekonomis guna membantu ekonomi mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian setelah mahasiswa membuat produk dari limbah (K5PBB) tersebut dilakukan Bazar produk kreatifitas mahasiswa selama satu minggu, dari 5 kategori pertanyaan tentang produk K5PBB dengan persentasi tertinggi yaitu: (1) merancang produk 70% Cukup Kesulitan, (2) memproses produk 77% Kesulitan, (3) memasarkan produk 60% Sangat Kesulitan, (4) mengembangkan produk 57% Kesulitan , (5) melestarikan atau mempertahankan produk/semangat 82 % Kesulitan. Dan 1 kategori pertanyaan tentang Jiwa Kewirausahaan Mahasiswa dengan persentasi 82% Sangat Penting, 16 % Penting, 2% Cukup Penting, dan hasil penelitian tersebutwalaupun mahasiswa berpendapat mengalami kesulitan dalammengelola limbah K5PBB, namun semangat dan jiwa kewirausahaan mereka sangat Tinggi sebesar 97,98%, berdasarkan perhitungan Frekuensi  . Hasil penelitian ini akan peneliti kembangkan menjadi Program Pengembangan Desa Mitra (PPDM).
