Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the influence of the implementation of cooperative learning models to improve football playing skills and student cooperation at SMPN 2 Lembang. This study uses a classroom action research (CAR) method and uses a classroom action research design (CAR). The sample used in this study was 10% of the population representing 36 students. In the initial test of playing skills and cooperation, students get an average score of 24% for playing skills and 22% for collaboration. In cycle I, action I increased to 30% for play skills and 32% for cooperation, in cycle I, action II increased to 50% for play skills and 50% for cooperation, in cycle II, action I increased scores to 65% skills play and 66% for cooperation, in the second cycle of action II there was an increase of 82% for playing skills and 82% for cooperation so that it was seen an increase in each cycle in this study. Then it can be concluded that there is significant progress in the application of cooperative learning models to improve soccer playing skills and student cooperation at SMPN 2 Lembang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of tactical approach models and cooperative learning models on the amount of active learning time (JWAB) students in learning basketball games. The research method used is the experimental method. The population in this study were 300 students and a sample of 40 students. Sampling using a purposive sampling technique. The research design uses one group pretest-posttest design. The research instrument in this study used the physical teaching performance assessment instrument. Raw data shows an average difference between the tactical approach model group and the cooperative learning model group to the amount of active learning time. The results of data processing and hypothesis testing show an increase in the amount of active learning time for students of SMP Negeri 1 Plered. From the results of data processing and analysis, it can be concluded that the tactical approach model gives a more significant effect compared to the cooperative learning model on the amount of active learning time in Plered 1 Junior High School.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning-based learning model and learning and Intellectual intelligence to creative thinking. This research includes experimental study using Factorial Design 2 x 2. Samples are all girls grade 8 SMP Santa Ursula Bandung 2017/2018 academic year as many as 60 people. The findings of this research include; 1) There is a significant influence of Problem-Based Learning Model on creative thinking to students who have high intellectual intelligence, 2) There is a significant influence of Problem-Based Learning Model on creative thinking to students who have low intellectual intelligence, 3) There is influence which is significant from the Discovery Learning Model of creative thinking in students with high intellectual intelligence, 4) There is a significant influence of the Discovery Model on creative thinking to students with low intellectual intelligence, 5) There is significant interaction of Problem-Based Learning Model and Discovery Learning as well as Intellectual Intelligence towards the improvement of creative thinking. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem-Based Learning dan Discovery Learning serta kecerdasaan Intelektual terhadap berpikir kreatif. Penelitian ini termasuk studi ekperimental menggunakan Desain Faktorial 2 x 2. Sampel adalah semua siswi putri kelas 8 SMP Santa Ursula Bandung tahun ajaran 2017/2018 sebanyak 60 orang. Temuan penelitian ini diantaranya; 1) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari Model Problem-Based Learning terhadap berpikir kreatif pada siswi yang memiliki kecerdasan intelektual tinggi, 2) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari Model Problem-Based Learning terhadap berpikir kreatif pada siswi yang memiliki kecerdasan intelektual rendah, 3) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari Model Discovery Learning terhadap berpikir kreatif pada siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan intelektual tinggi, 4) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari Model Discovery terhadap berpikir kreatif pada siswi yang memiliki kecerdasan intelektual rendah, 5) Terdapat interaksi yang signifikan dari Model Problem-Based Learning dan Discovery Learning serta Kecerdasan Intelektual terhadap peningkatan berpikir kreatif.

Abstract

Pendidikan jasmani di sekolah berperan sangat penting karena memiliki nilai-nilaipositif yang tercakup di dalamnya. Pentingnya pendidikan jasmani bagi peserta didik,terutama dalam membangun kualitas hidup dan sikap sosialnya. Peserta didik akanterbentuk kualitas fisiknya, sikap mental, moral dan sosialnya melalui pendidikan jasmaniatau aktivitas fisik yang diperolehnya dari sekolah. Sehingga pada akhirnya diharapkanakan melahirkan generasi yang sehat jasmani dan rohaninya guna mendukung terciptanyamanusia yang berkualitas tinggi. Pelajaran pendidikan jasmani merupakan mata pelajaranyang menyenangkan, dan apa yang mereka harapkan dari pelajaran pendidikan jasmaniadalah untuk mengembangkan jasmani, mental, sosial dan psikis. Namun di lapanganmasih ditemui ungkapan negatif mengenai pendidikan jasmani, seperti misalnya,?pendidikan jasmani masih dianggap tidak penting.? Masih adanya pandangan negatiftentang pendidikan jasmani, salah satunya disebabkan karena proses pembelajaranpendidikan jasmani belum mampu untuk menciptakan atmosfir belajar. Jadi dibutuhkankemampuan dari guru pendidikan jasmani untuk dapat mengelola pembelajaran denganbaik, sehingga hasil yang diperoleh akan sangat membantu terhadap pertumbuhan danperkembangan peserta didik dalam segala aspek dan akan sangat berperan dalammewujudkan tujuan pendidikan nasional. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut perlu adanyastrategi khusus untuk mengatasi masalah-masalah yang terungkap sebelumnya. Salahsatu strateginya adalah dengan menerapkan model permainan, karena dengan permainansiswa akan merasa senang dan pendidikan jasmani dapat ditangkap oleh siswa, sehinggadiharapkan dapat menciptakan atmosfir belajar yang kondusif. Jika anak bermain ataudiberi permainan dalam rangka pendidikan jasmani, maka siswa akan melakukanpermainan itu dengan rasa senang (pada umumnya siswa merasa lebih senang melakukanpermainan, daripada melakukan cabang olahraga yang lain). Karena rasa senang inilahmaka siswa akan menangkap keadaan pribadinya yang asli pada saat mereka bermain,baik itu berupa watak asli, maupun kebiasaan yang telah membentuk kepribadiannya.Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa dengan bermain siswa dapat mengaktualisasikanpotensi aktivitas manusia dalam bentuk gerak, sikap, dan perilaku, sehingga pada akhirnyadapat disimpulkan melalui bermain tujuan pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani dapat tercapai.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop students' creativity through the application of problem based learning model in physical education in review of adversity quotient. The research method used is experimental method with 2x2 factorial designs. The population in this study are the students of 10th grade in SMK 1 Cipanas Cianjur Regency consists of 10th grade as many as 8 classes with a total of 375 students. The sample in this research is as many as 60 students, consists of 30 students with high adversity quotient skills and 30 students with low adversity quotient skills. The sampling using cluster random sampling technique. The instrument used is a questionnaire to measure the level of adversity quotient by Stolz (2000) and the creativity by Guilford (1950). The result of data analysis Two Way Anova showed that: (1) the development of students' creativity through problem based learning model is higher than direct instruction model. (2) There are differences of creativity between students who are given problem-based learning model and direct instruction model in groups of students who have high adversity quotient ability.(3)There are differences of creativity between students who are given problem-based learning model and direct instruction model in groups of students' who have low adversity quotient ability. (4) There are interactions between the learning model and the adversity quotient on students' creativity. The findings of this study confirmed that learning with problem based learning model gives more effective impact and can be applied by physical education teachers in an effort to develop student' creativity.

Abstract

Since competition activities can improve sportsmanship, moral development, motivation, and prepare students in the "real world", competition activities (sports orientation) in physical education is very necessary. A strategy that is proposed to stimulate sports orientation in physical education in this study is a Sport Education Model (SEM). The purpose of this study was to determine the differences between team sports and individual sports when using SEM, towards sports orientation in physical education for junior high school students. The research method uses true experiments with posttest-only control group design. The participants in this study were 80 grade seventh junior high school students. Using the Sport Orientation Questionnaire (SOQ), the data was analysed using independent samples t-test. The results stated that there were significant differences between the two conditions. The findings suggests that sports orientation in SEM team sports are more influenced by goal orientation is in accord with the statement that achievement in sports competition (sports orientation) depends on goal orientation, but not at SEM individual sports.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to analyze the relationship between physical fitness, concentration ability, and cortisol response as biomolecular markers in students whether they were under pressure or not. The method used in this study is an ex-post facto study for about ± 20 (twenty) months. The respondents were collected randomly based on geographic location, highland and lowland areas of various city districts in West Java province. The research subjects were 339 students, 151 male and 137 female students from grades 4, 5, and 6. The results showed that there is a positive correlation and a significant contribution between physical fitness and concentration ability in students from the highlands area; there is no correlation and contribution between physical fitness with the ability to concentrate in students from the lowlands area; there is a negative correlation and a significant contribution between physical fitness and cortisol response in students from the highlands area; there is a negative correlation and a significant contribution between physical fitness and cortisol response in the students from he lowlands area.Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kebugaran jasmani dengan kemampuan konsentrasi dan respon kortisol sebagai penanda biomolekuler pada siswa apakah mengalami tekanan atau tidak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi expost facto, dengan rentang waktu ± 20 (duapuluh) bulan. Pengambilan data secara acak berdasarkan letak geografis atau wilayah dataran tinggi dan dataran rendah berbagai wilayah kabupaten kota yang berada di provinsi Jawa Barat. Subjek penelitian melibatkan siswa kelas 4, 5 dan 6 dengan total jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak 339 siswa, laki-laki 151 orang dan perempuan 137 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat korelasi positif dan kontribusi yang signifikan antara kebugaran jasmani dengan kemampuan konsentrasi di daerah dataran tinggi; tidak terdapat korelasi dan kontribusi antara kebugaran jasmani dengan kemampuan konsentrasi pada daerah dataran rendah; terdapat korelasi negatif dan kontribusi yang signifikan antara kebugaran jasmani dengan respon kortisol di daerah dataran tinggi; terdapat korelasi negatif dan kontribusi yang signifikan antara kebugaran jasmani dengan respon kortisol di daerah dataran rendah.

Abstract

Hasil studi lapangan pada salah satu sekolah di Kota Bandung masih ditemukan kasus-kasus pelanggaran tata tertib, seperti masih ada siswa yang sekadar mengikuti pembelajaran, tidak mengerjakan tugas, meninggalkan kelas tanpa izin, coret-mencoret dinding, berkelahi dengan teman, dan pemerasan kepada teman atau adik kelas. Hal ini menunjukkan minimnya tanggung jawab dan perilaku sosial siswa sehingga perlu adanya upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut di antaranya dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility (TPSR). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penerapan model TPSR terhadap tanggung jawab dan perilaku sosial siswa dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MA Al Inayah Kota Bandung dengan sampel yang diteliti sebanyak 30 siswa. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest design. Semua data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan model pembelajaran TPSR terhadap tanggung jawab dan perilaku sosial siswa. Terdapat peningkatan nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest pada model TPSR baik terhadap tanggung jawab (p-value = 0,00) maupun perilaku sosial (p_value = 0,00). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran TPSR sangat penting dalam meningkatkan sikap tanggung jawab dan perilaku sosial siswa.  The results of a field study in one school in Bandung still find cases of violation of the discipline, such as there are still students who merely join the lesson, do not do the task, leave the class without permission, scrawl, fight with friends and confront their friends or juniors. This shows the lack of responsibility and social behavior of students. Thus, it is necessary to attempt to overcome these problems such as using the learning model of Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility (TPSR). This study aims to examine the effect of TPSR model implementation on the responsibility and social behavior of students in physical education learning. Population in this research is students of class X MA Al Inayah, Bandung with sample studied 30 students. The research used experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design design, all data obtained were analyzed using paired sample t-test technique. The result of the research shows that there is significant influence of the application of TPSR learning model to the responsibility and social behavior of the students. There is an increase in the average pretest and posttest values on the TPSR model both on responsibility (p-value = 0.00) and social behavior (p_value = 0.00). Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of TPSR learning model is very important in improving the attitude of responsibility and social behavior of students.

Abstract

Teaching physical education in schools today is still based on the delivery of the games  movement and sports information, so that the cognitive ability, reflective-critical thinking skills, and students’ performance have not fully developed yet. The purpose of this study was to discover the reflective cognitive development of critical thinking abilities and the performance in playing handball in physical education classes. Its used 2x2 factorial design conducted on 74 students of grade Sernior High School in Bandung. Instrument used to measure the ability of critical thinking was the test to measure the critical thinking ability, while GPAI was used to measure games performance. The study shows that there is a significant effect of the critical thinking skills inquiry learning model treatment, whereas the direct treatment shows that there is a significant influence on the performance in playing handball. The results also discover the interaction in intelligence quotient and learning model and both of the models have influence on the students who have high and low intelligence.  AbstrakPengajaran pendidikan jasmani di sekolah masih berlandaskan pada penyampaian informasi gerak permainan atau olahraga semata, sehingga kemampuan kognitif reflektif-kemampuan berpikir kritis  dan penampilan bermain  siswa belum berkembang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menelurusi kebenaran pengembangan kognitif reflektif-kemampuan berpikir kritis dan penampilan bermain bola tangan dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain faktorial  2x2 dilakukan pada 74 orang siswa kelas SMA di Bandung.  Instrument yang digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis yaitu dengan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis sedangkan GPAI untuk mengukur keterampilan bermain. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan kemampuan berpikir kritis dari perlakuan model pembelajaran  inkuiri, sedangkan pada perlakuan direct teaching  menyatakan pula terdapat pengaruh signifikan penampilan bermain bola tangan. Hasil penelitian selanjutnya model pembelajaran dengan intelligence quotient terdapat interaksi dan kedua model tersebut mempengaruhi pada tingkat siswa yang memiliki intelligence tinggi daan rendah.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan permainan dan tingkat intelligence quotient (IQ) terhadap keterampilan bermain bola basket yang diterapkan pada atlet UKM bola basket putri UPI Bandung. Penelitan ini menerapkan dua pendekatan permainan yaitu Tactical Games Approach dan Game Sense Approach. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Experimental, dan desain penelitian faktorial 2x2 yang dilakukan pada 30 orang atlet yang dibagi dalam 4 kelompok yaitu 2 kelompok di IQ tinggi dan 2 kelompok di IQ rendah. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat IQ adalah Advanced Progressive Matrices (APM) dan Games Performance Assessment Intrument (GPAI) untuk mengukur keterampilan bermain bola basket. Hasil pengolahan dan analisis data penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa 1) Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara pendekatan permainan dan tingkat IQ terhadap keterampilan bermain bola basket. 2) Terdapat interaksi antara pendekatan permainan dan tingkat IQ terhadap keterampilan bermain bola basket. 3) Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh pendekatan permainan pada kelompok tingkat IQ tinggi terhadap keterampilan bermain bola basket. 4) Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh pendekatan permainan pada kelompok tingkat IQ rendah terhadap keterampilan bermain bola basket. Dan berdasarkan hasil olah data tersebut diketahui bahwa pendekatan Tactical Games Approach lebih baik diterapkan pada kelompok yang memiliki tingkat IQ tinggi dan pendekatan Game Sense Approach lebih baik diterapkan pada kelompok yang memiliki tingkat IQ rendah.
