Abstract

Coelogyne dayana (Rchb.) merupakan salah satu anggrek spesies yang berpotensi mengalami kepunahan. Keberadaan Coelogyne dayana dapat dipertahankan melalui perbanyakan dengan teknik kultur jaringan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi berbagai konsentrasi NAA dan BAP pada media VW bagi pertumbuhan eksplan Coelogyne dayana menggunakan eksplan tunas anggrek hasil kultur jaringan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Bioteknologi Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak yang berlangsung dari September hingga Desember 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan percobaan faktorial dengan pola Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 2 faktor yaitu NAA dan BAP masing-masing terdiri dari 4 taraf (0,0 ppm, 0,5 ppm, 1,0 ppm, 1,5 ppm). Variabel yang diamati adalah waktu terbentuk akar, jumlah akar, waktu terbentuk tunas, jumlah tunas dan pertambahan jumlah daun. Data pengamatan diolah dengan ANOVA dan uji lanjut BNJ taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi NAA dan BAP yang efektif terhadap pertambahan jumlah daun anggrek Coelogyne dayana adalah tanpa NAA dan tanpa BAP. Perlakuan tanpa NAA memberikan hasil yang efektif terhadap jumlah akar, jumlah tunas dan pertambahan jumlah daun. Pemberian NAA 1,5 ppm memberikan nilai rerata tertinggi terhadap jumlah akar (5,77 helai), jumlah tunas (3,25 tunas) dan pertambahan jumlah daun (8,71 helai). Perlakuan BAP 0,5 ppm memberikan hasil yang efektif terhadap jumlah tunas dan pertambahan jumlah daun. Perlakuan tanpa BAP memberikan hasil yang efektif dan nilai rerata terbaik terhadap waktu terbentuk akar (17,86 HST), jumlah akar (6,26 helai) dan waktu terbentuk tunas (30,85 HST).Kata kunci: Coelogyne dayana, BAP, NAA, kultur jaringan, VW.

Abstract

Diatoms are the largest phytoplankton group and as the primary producer in marine waters. This research was conducted in September 2016 around Cawan Island of In-dragiri Hilir Regency of Riau Province. The aim of this research was to determine the structure of epiphytic diatom community on the midrib of Nypa fruticans and to deter-mine water quality as well as to see the relationship of epiphytic diatoms abundance with water quality. The survey method was applied in this research and sampling loca-tion determined by purposive sampling. Measurement of water quality was done by in situ and ex situ which consist of biology, physics and chemical parameters. Nitrate concentrations in waters ranged from 0,0139 to 0,0639 mg/l and phosphate concentra-tions ranged from 0,1342 to 0,2345 mg/l. The epiphytic diatoms on the midrib of Nypa fruticans in Cawan Island consist of 18 genera of diatoms, the average value of abun-dance ranged from 7.385 to 23.042 individual/cm2, the mean value of diversity index ranged from 1,41 to 2,05.The dominance index value ranged from 0,27 to 0,52 and the uniformity index value ranged from 0,58 to 0,91. Meanwhile, the correlation of diatom abundance with concentration of nitrate was 0,21 (weak relationship) and correlation of diatomic abundance with phosphate concentration was 0,11 (very weak relation-ship). Based on the result of epiphytic diatom calculation on the midrib of Nypa fruti-cans can be concluded that the waters in Cawan Island was in medium contaminated condition.

There are some constrain in obtaining common tissue culture medium, such as hard to make, the chemicals is hard to find and the price is relatively high so it needs an alternative medium that is easily obtained and be able to give the same effect with commonly used tissue culture medium. Hydroponics fertilizer can be used as an alternative medium because it is easy to make and relatively low price compared to MS medium. The research aims to determine wether hydroponic fertilizers can be used as an alternative medium and to find the best type of hydroponic fertilizer to the growth of Dendrobium sp. orchid on tissue culture. The research was conducted from December 20, 2017 to March 20, 2018 at the Laboratory of Biotechnology Faculty of Agriculture, Tanjungpura University. This research used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with one factor i.e. MS, WB Mix, Nutrisi Hidroponik, Veggie Mix, and Goodplant. The variables observed in this research include the increase number of leaves (piece), the increase number of root (piece), the time to buds appearance (weeks) and  number of buds (buds). The results showed that in general the use of hydroponic fertilizer as alternative medium for tissue culture medium provide equal response with MS medium to the growth of Dendrobium sp. orchids, but on MS medium the growth of buds is faster than all types of hydroponic fertilizer as alternative medium. Keyword : Alternative Medium, Dendrobium sp. Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effect of bamboo root extract and find the best concentration on the growth and yield of mung  bean on alluvial soil. This research was conducted in the village of Sungai Itik, Sungai Kakap District, Kuburaya. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), which consisted of a 6 treatments and 4 replication, each treatment consisting of 4 samples, so that there were 96 plants.  The treatment were : p0 = without bamboo root extract, p1 = 10 ml/l, p2 = 20 ml/l, p3 = 30 ml/l, p4 = 40 ml/ l, p5 =  50 ml/l. The variables observed were to plant height, dry weight of plants, dry root weight,  the number of productive branches, number of pods, weight of dry beans per plant, and weight of 100 dry seeds.  The results showed that the bamboo root extract has a significant  effect on plant height, dry weight of plants, the number of productive branches, weight of dry beans per plant,  number of pods but bamboo root extract did not significantly affect the weight variable of 100 dry seeds. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh POC                         (Pupuk Organik Cair) terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil kailan hidroponik. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan enam perlakuan dan empat ulangan dan masing – masing ulangan terdiri dari 3 sampel tanaman.        Total dari seluruh sampel penelitian adalah 72 tanaman. Perlakuan yang dimaksud adalah p0 (10 ml/ liter air larutan nutrisi AB Mix), p1 (200 ml/ liter air POC kotoran ayam), p2 (250 ml/ liter air POC kotoran ayam), p3 (300 ml/ liter air POC kotoran ayam), p4 (350 ml/ liter air POC kotoran ayam), dan p5 (400 ml/ liter air POC kotoran ayam). Variabel pengamatan yaitu volume akar, luas daun, berat kering, jumlah daun dan berat segar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian POC kotoran ayam tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua variabel, yaitu volume akar, luas daun, berat kering, jumlah daun dan berat segar tanaman.                                                                                          Kata Kunci : hidroponik, kailan, POC kotoran ayam

Abstract

Media kultur merupakan salah satu faktor utama yang menentukan keberhasilan perbanyakan dengan kultur in vitro. Media dasar kultur in vitro seperti Murashige and Skoog (MS) dalam pembuatannya rumit serta bahan-bahan kimia yang relatif mahal dan terkadang sulit untuk didapat. Media  alternatif pupuk dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif karena harga bahan-bahan yang murah, mudah didapat dan kandungan unsur haranya lengkap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pertumbuhan anggrek Phalaenopsis hibrid pada media MS dan berbagai jenis media alternatif secara in vitro. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 27 Maret hingga 27 Juli 2017 di Laboratorium Bioteknologi Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura. Penelitian ini menggunakan pola Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) satu faktor yaitu media MS, Growquick S, Growmore, Hyponex hijau dan Gandasil D dengan penambahan BAP 1,5 ppm dan air kelapa 100 ml/l. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini meliputi pertambahan jumlah daun (helai), pertambahan jumlah akar (helai), waktu terbentuk tunas (MST), jumlah tunas (tunas) dan persentase eksplan membentuk tunas (%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media alternatif lebih mampu mendorong pembentukan tunas dibandingkan media MS pada persentase eksplan membentuk tunas meskipun respon pertumbuhan anggrek Phalaenopsis hibrid secara umum sama baiknya pada media MS maupun media alternatif. Media alternatif pupuk Gandasil D menunjukkan hasil yang lebih baik pada persentase eksplan membentuk tunas, yaitu sebesar 75% dibandingkan dengan media alternatif lainnya. Kata kunci : Anggrek, In Vitro, Media Alternatif, Media MS, Phalaenopsis Hibrid

Abstract

The objective of the study were: 1 to know the type of distribution channel of cauliflower, 2) to determine the marketing and profit margins of each distribusion channel, 3) to determine the lowest and highest profit margin from the distribution channels of cauliflower at District of Baturiti to consumers in Denpasar. This study used survey method. The population in this research was the cauliflower growers in 3 Subak Baturiti. The samples used in this study were 25 farmers cauliflower. There were 5 distribut ion channels of cauliflower from Baturiti to Denpasar, there are 5 lines: Line 1) farmers - wholesalers -traditional market retailers - consumers; lane 2) farmers - wholesalers - retailers supermarket - consumers; 3) farmers - collectors - wholesalers - retailers – consumers, 4) farmers -collectors - consumer (hotel); and 5) farmers - the mediator - wholesaler - consumer (catering). Marketing margins and profit margins of each channel were as follows: 1) Rp 6.000 and 5.098; 2) Rp 14.000 and 10.797; 3) Rp 7.000 and 4.754; 4) Rp: 4.000 and 3.462; 5) Rp 8.250 and 4.385. The lowest marketing and profit margins was in channel 4, while the highest marketing and profit margin was in channel 2.

Abstract

The condition of good water quality is essential to support the survival of organisms that live in it. Determination of the status of water quality needs to be done as a reference in monitoring the water quality pollution.The purpose of this study to analyze and determine the status of water quality physically and chemically in the coastal waters Dumai. The method used in this research is survey method was conducted in December 2018 - April 2019 in the Coastal Water Dumai in Riau province. Sampling sites physical and chemical parameters determined by purposive sampling. Based on consideration of environmental conditions and Dumai City Regulation No. 11 In 2002, it was determined sampling consisted of four stations, with each station there are 5 sampling points were used as replicates. Determining the status of water quality using storet index and the index of pollution. Water quality measurement results About Coastal Dumai use Storet index and the pollution index shows that the coastal waters of Dumai categorized as Heavy Polluted waters.

Abstract

Fiber of pineapple leaf as one of the natural fiber which is very abundant availability at this time, but is no longer used and disposed of as waste. Though pineapple leaf fiber can be used as a natural alternative to fiber composite materials. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of variations in the composition of the composite epoxy / glass fiber and pineapple leaf fiber on impact toughness, and also can utilize waste pineapple leaf fibers. Pineapple leaf fiber combined with glass fibers in order to obtain optimum strength and toughness. Variation of weight percent composition of the composite is 90:10, 80:20, 70:30, 60:40. The process of manufacture of the specimen is done manually and stirring pineapple leaf fiber and glass fiber with resin done evenly and constantly. Pouring resin into the mold do without the absence of pressure. Of the results impact test be obtained impact energy and price of impact average for the composite with composition 90:10 = 0.12 J for impact energy and for price impact 0.003 J/mm2 , 80:20 = 0.0013 J for impact energy and price impact 0.0033 J/mm2 , 70:30 = 0.32 J for impact energy and price impact of 0.008 J/mm2 , 60:40 = 0.31 J for impact energy and price impact 0.0077. Toughness is highest obtained on the 70:30 composition. From the test results it can be concluded that the natural fiber – reinforced composites and glass fiber can improve the toughness in the shock loads.

Abstract

Pelanggan merupakan aset penting bagi suatu organsasi. Oleh karena itu harus dikelola dengan baik agar tidak hilang. Salah satu caranya yaitu dengan mencari nilai CLV atau nilai hidup pelanggan yang tujuannya untuk mengetahui kelompok-kelompok pelanggan yang memiliki nilai loyalitas dan profitabilitas yang tinggi yang akan mengungtungkan perusahaan. Segmentasi ini diawali dengan menganaliss data mentah (cleaning), dan kemudian ditranformasikan ke dalam LRFM (Length, Recency, Frequency dan Monetary). Lalu dilakukan normalisasi dengan range nilai 0-1. Setelah itu diklusterisasikan menggunakan algoritma Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) dan terakhir menghitung nilai CLV per kluster. Kluster dengan nilai CLV tertinggi yaitu kluster ke 1 dengan nilai 0,355. Diikuti dengan kluster ke 3 dengan nilai 0,314. Dan kluster dengan nilai CLV terendah yaitu kluster 2 dengan nilai 0,041 atau sama dengan di bawah nilai rata-rata CLV yaitu 0,236. Kluster dengan nilai CLV tertinggi dinilai menjadi kelompok pelanggan dengan loyalitas dan profitabilitas yang tinggi yang harus dipertahankan.
