Abstract

Abstract: The study aims to find out the scientific approach implementation on algebra learning of class VIII, SMPN 4 Batu. This study employs a qualitative approach while it uses interviews, surveys, and documents as the techniques under the descriptive method. The source triangulation technique is used to support the validity of this study. The result shows that scientific approach implementation on algebra learning of class VIII, SMPN 4 Batu was conducted contextually through a scientific approach. The school needs to equip its teachers and educational staff with competency by training and workshop, sufficient funding, and supporting facilities and infrastructure. By applying the scientific approach, the school can improve KKM completeness percentage, decrease misconception, boost self-esteem, be more communicative, increase discipline, augment academic and nonacademic achievement as well.Keywords: Implementation, Scientific Approach, Algebra Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi pendekatan saintifik pada pembelajaran aljabar kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 4 Batu. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif sedangkan metode yang digunakan deskriptif melalui tehnik wawancara, observasi dan dokumen. Keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini digunakan tehniktrianggulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dalam implementasi pendekatan saintifik pada pembelajaran aljabar kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 4 Batu, dilakukan secara kontekstual melalui pendekatan saintifik, sekolah perlu mempersiapkan tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan yang kompeten dengan melalui pelatihan, diklat dan workshop, adanya dukungan dana yang mencukupi, sarana dan prasarana yang mendukung. Dengan pendekatan saintifik dapat, meningkatakanprosentase ketuntasan KKM, memperkecil miskonsepsi, menambah percaya diri, lebih komunikatif, meningkatkan kedipsilinan, dan meningkatkan prestasi akademis dan non akademis.Kata kunci: Implementasi, Pendekatan Saintifik, Aljabar

Abstract

The number of bacteria in the grilled sausage is affected by sanitation hygiene. Aspects of hygiene sanitation include food handlers, equipment, presentation, means of peddlers, and merchant centers. If these five aspects do not meet the standards then it can trigger the occurrence of food contamination by microorganisms. This study aims to determine whether there is a hygiene relationship sanitation traders on the number of bacterial colonies roasted sausages in the car free day (CFD) of Malang City. Data collection using observation sheet referred to Decree of Minister of Health, Number 942/MENKES/SK/VII/2003. Data in the form of hygiene sanitation score. Product moment correlation is used to analyze the presence or absence of relationship between variables. Result of research indicate that there is relation of sanitation hygiene of merchant to the number of bacteria in burning sausage in Car Free Day (CFD) Malang. Abstract

Chronic wounds are still problem is one of the most frequent among the community. Pressure ulcers (decubitus) are examples of types of chronic wounds in which the maintenance costs of the injury fairly expensive. The use of plants is an appropriate alternative for the treatment of decubitus chronic wounds. One among the many plants that are known efficacious drugs for the health of Aloe vera. With the various components contained therein, aloe vera is known to affect the decubitus chronic wound healing. This study is purely experimental posttest-only design approach. The sample uses a white rats strain wistar female, weight 150-250 gr and 2,5 to 3 months of age. The variable is the concentration of the extract of Aloe vera and scores healing pressure ulcers (decubitus) degree II in white rats. The data obtained using observation, then analyzed with the assumption test (Lilliefors test and the Barlett test), one way Anova test and different test real distance of Duncan with significansy values of 0,05. The results indicate that there is the influence of various concentrations of leaf extract of Aloe vera to diameter decubitus chronic wound healing in rats and the concentration of leaf extract of Aloe vera 100% to give a good effect on the diameter of decubitus chronic wound healing on white rats (á 0.05).

Abstract

Red roses flower (Rosa damascena Mill) is plant which can be cultivated in Indonesia. Red roses flower have a natural pigment contain that anthocyanin which can be used as food coloring. The crown of roses flower contain an anthocyanin pigment that include to flavonoid and kind of sianidin anthocyanin which have a function as antioxidant or free radical preventing. Pigment as bioactive is important compound that useful for human health. The aim of this research is to know various concentration influence of red roses flower extract and to know effective concentration that the most influence to color stability of anthocyanin jelly. Research types with treatment, repetition, and control. The design of this research using completely randomized design (RAL), with 6 treatment (0%, 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, and 5%) and repeated 4 times. Population of this research is jelly. Sample of this research is jelly which added by red roses flower extract. If the data result is have normality, that the data is analysed by Anava one-way test and continue with Duncan’s 5%. Result of this research shown that there was influence of various concentration of red roses flower extract to color stability of anthocyanin jelly. Result test for color stability, the most influence concentration for brightness is 4%, red color is 5%, and yellow color is 0%.

Abstract

Staphylococcus epidermidis is one of the bacteria that can cause infectious diseases. In general Staphylococcus epidermidis can cause diseases of swelling (abscess) such as skin infections or acne. Cinnamon (Cinnamomum burmannii [Ness.] BI) leaf extract has a substance which gives antimicrobial effects that can be used as an inhibitor of the Staphylococcus epidermidis bacteria’s growth because it contains substances such as essential oils, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, and alkaloids. The aim of this research is to analyse the effect of the concentration of cinnamon leaf extract and to determine the concentration of extract which has the best influence to the inhibition zone diameter of Staphylococcus epidermidis bacteria. This research was conducted in Biology Laboratory of University of Muhammadiyah Malang, on 17-18 May 2017. The results showed that there was an effect of giving various concentrations of cinnamon leaf extract to the inhibition zone diameter of Staphylococcus epidermidis bacteria’s growth. The concentration of cinnamon leaf extract which has the best influence to the inhibitory zone diameter of Staphylococcus epidermidis bacteria is 100% with the mean of inhibitory zone diameter 15.16 mm.

Abstract

Petani yang menerapkan pertanian organik masih mengalami permasalahan terkait pengetahuan tentang pembuatan dan penggunaan fungisida organik, sehingga perlu dilakukan kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM). PKM ini bertujuan memberikan pendampingan kepada mitra sehingga terjadi perbaikan dalam hal, (1) penguasaan metode pembuatan fungisida organik anggota kelompok petani organik yang menjadi mitra dan (2) menguasai metode penggunaan fungisida organik anggota kelompok petani organik yang menjadi mitra. Mitra PKM adalah Kelompok Tani Sumber Urip-I dan Kelompok Tani Sumber Urip-II, Desa Wonorejo Kecamatan Poncokusumo Kabupaten Malang. Metode pelaksanaan PKM terdiri dari 2 kegiatan utama, yaitu sebagai berikut: 1) Pelatihan pembuatan fungisida organik dari bahan baku lokal dan 2) Pelatihan dan pendampingan penggunaan fungisida organik. Melalui serangkaian kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan, maka: 1) semua anggota (100%) mitra PKM telah menguasai metode pembuatan fungisida organik dan 2) semua anggota (100%) mitra PKM telah menguasai penggunaan dan mampu meningkatkan produksi fungisida organik.
