Abstract

Determinants of Consumer Decisions in Consuming Sariwangi Dye Tea(Case Study on Tiara Dewata Consumer Group in Denpasar City) The consumers? decision in purchasing Sariwangi tea bag products is affected byconsumer characteristics and marketing mix elements. These variables affect thebuying decision processes so as to produce a buying decision. This research wasconducted at supermarkets in Denpasar City with the aim to identify the factors thatplay a role in consumer decision to buy Sariwangi tea bags and analyze decisionprocesses of purchasing Sariwangi tea bags by consumers in Denpasar City. In thisresearch, the method used was descriptive-quantitative analysis method andqualitative-descriptive analysis. The results showed that all variables had a role to theconsumer's decision to consume Sariwangi tea, the variable that had the greatest roleto the secondary factor was the social variable with the communality value of17.29%, while the individual variable with the communality value of 10.49% had thelowest role to the consumer's decision to consume Sariwangi tea bags. Consideringthat the seven variables truly have a role to consumer decisions consuming Sariwangitea, then the producer should still pay attention to matters relating to these variables,especially social factors that have the most decisive role.

Abstract

Abstract The Effectiveness and Efficiency of The Usage of Production Factors in Chili Farming at Baturiti Village, Baturiti District, Tabanan Big chili (Capsicum annuum L.) is a potential commodity of horticulture in Bali. One of chili producer areas in Bali is Baturiti village, Baturiti district, Tabanan regency. This study aims to find out the influence of production factors, effectiveness and efficiency of usage of production factors to optimalizing production. The research was carried out at Baturiti village by analyzing production factors including the use of land, seed, fertilizer, pesticide, and labor using Cobb-Douglas production function. Data used in this study came from primary data of 56 respondents that were determined using random sampling method. The effectiveness of production factors use was examined from the comparison between marginal product and average product, while the efficiency of production factors was counted from comparison between marginal product value and production factors values. Results of this research show that seed, NPK fertilizer, and labor affect total production, meanwhile land, urea fertilizer, ZA fertilizer, KCL fertilizer, TSP fertilizer, and pesticide do not affect. The use of production factors was ineffective because of the effectiveness was under 80 percent. The use of seed has not been efficient yet so that the amount of use can be increased, on the other hand the use of other production factors was inefficient consequently their use can be decreased. Abstract

ABSTRACT Financial Analysis and Added Value Manufacturing of Arabica Coffee at Farm Cooperative of Manik Sedana Bangli Regency The study aims to analyze added value and feasibility study of Arabica Coffee manufacturing at Farm Cooperative of Manik Sedana. Survey method was used to gather primary data from five persons of management board of the company. Secondary data related to this study were collected from appropiate sources. The added value for one production cycle was accounted by using Hayami et al method and feasibility study implemented discounted criteria (NPV, IRR, Net B/C and sensitivity analyze) during the 10 years as economic life of project on rate 6% . The process from fresh to HS coffee and from fresh to powder coffee yielded additional value of IDR 1,875.05 and IDR 6,642.34 per kilogam fresh coffee. Based on investment criteria, the processing of Arabica Coffee was financially feasible indicated by NPV = IDR 667,757,620; IRR = 28.70%; Net B/C = 2.00 . The Bussiness will be financially infeasible if both HS and powder coffee prices decreased. Key Words: value added, feasibility, manufacturing of arabica coffee

Abstract

ABSTRACT Main Activity Of Farming Of Fragrant Screw Pine (Pandanus amaryllifolius roxb) At Subak Tegenungan, Kemenuh Village, Sukawati Subdistrict of  Gianyar Regency Indonesia is a tropical country, because geographically Indonesia traversed by the equator. The geographical position of Indonesia is very supportive the community to conduct agricultural activities. As the largest second contributor to GDP in Bali. Agricultural sector is still done mostly in Subak Tegenungan. The member of Tegenungan Subak from year to year there are convert its land to plant fragrant screw pine. This study aims to find out farm income of the fragrant screw pine, the value of R / C ratio of fragrant screw pine and constraints faced by the farmers. The results showed that farm income of fragrant screw pine equal to Rp 249,656,415.44 per hectare per year. The value of R / C ratio of fragrant screw pine is 5,35 constraints faced by farmers of fragrant screw pine that are in input of urea fertilizer because urea fertililzer subsidized for paddy so that farmers of fragrant screw pine is hard to get it. Abstract

The Comparison of Shallot Farming Income by Using and without Pheromone Technology (Case Study at the Association of Asta Mandiri Farmer Groups,Songan B Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency)The main problem faced by farmers in shallot cultivation is the pest attack fromworms. Farmers mostly control the pest by using high doses of chemical insecticidespraying. Pheromone technology is a breakthrough technology that can be used tocontrol worm pest in shallot farming, heading to less use of insecticides. Thisresearch took place at the Association of Asta Mandiri Farmer Groups, Songan BVillage, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency which was conducted from April toMay 2016. The purpose of this study was to compare the shallot farming incomeusing pheromone technology and without pheromone technology and the obstaclesfaced by farmers in applying the technology. Data were analyzed using analysis offarm income, the R/C ratio, and t-test. The results showed that the income of shallotfarming with pheromone technology was at Rp 97,597,413.38 per hectare per season,whereas without pheromone technology at Rp 78,605,563.89 per hectare perseason.The R/C ratio of shallot farming by using pheromones technology was 2,39,whereas without the pheromone technology was 2,06. Based on t-test analysis, thereis significantly difference in income at 95% level of confidence. Obstacles faced byfarmers in applying pheromone technology, namely difficulties to obtain thepheromones in the market. It is expected that the government will provide thepheromones massively, so that farmers are able to apply the technology sustainably.

Abstract

Analysis of Job Satisfaction at CV Food Sources in DenpasarHuman resources is a factor of production which is very important for a company,compared with other factors of production include natural resources, capital, andskills. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of employee satisfactionCV Food Source in Denpasar. The location determination is done deliberately. Thetotal number of the population sampled that stout 40 employees CV Source of Foodin Denpasar. The factors used in this study is the satisfaction of the salary receivedby the employee, satisfaction with the social aspects in the work, satisfaction withthe attitude of the boss, satisfaction with the work environment or workingconditions, satisfaction with the award, and satisfaction with security in work ,Methods of data analysis used descriptive analysis method using a questionnaire,measured with likert scale. The results show the percentage of the level ofemployee satisfaction score of 65.96%. Achievement scores of employees CVSource Food is categorized quite satisfied, this describes the majority ofrespondents had felt quite satisfied during work in CV Source Food. It should beconsidered to improve employee job satisfaction in CV Source Food that award,salary or compensation received and the sense of safety in the work.

Abstract

The Business Growth of Cut Orchid Vanda Flower in Kembang Batur AnggrekCollection at Desa Sanur Kaja Denpasar Timur, Denpasar-Bali Increasing number of flowrist at Denpasar City make every company must havemore value to attract consumers. Kembang Batur Anggrek Collection is one of theflowrist that supply consumer?s need at Denpasar. The purpose of the study todetermine how the business growth of cut orchid Vanda flower observed form profit,volume of sales, and constraints in Kembang Batur Anggrek Collection. The resultsof this study shows profit growth in the TR calculation is Rp 5.831.500.000,00 ; theTC calculation is Rp 3.704.811.000,00 and the calculation profit obtained is Rp2.126.689.000 over ten years. The average business profits of cut orchid Vandaflower in Kembang Batur Anggrek Collection is Rp 212.668.900,00 every year andthe sales volume of the annual accounts showed an increasing sales. The cultivationof Cut Orchid Vanda Flower in Kembang Batur Anggrek Collection should becontinued and developed with effort leads to an increase in the number ofproduction. In order to fulfill the increasing market demand of Cut Orchid VandaFlower.

Abstract

Abstract Noble values ??contained in Subak finally set to make UNESCO as World Cultural Heritage in need of protection. The challenge is not only coming from the onslaught of tourism alone but the biggest challenge comes from farmers themselves, namely the lack of interest of young generation to carry on the profession as a farmer. This led to concerns about the sustainability and preservation of the water control system. Subak as one of the world's cultural heritage contained in Sub Sukawati Gianyar regency which Subak Kulub Atas, Subak Kulub Bawah, and Subak Pulagan. Very important for the socialization of Subak as a world heritage, especially on the definition and management to the surrounding communities and the general location of the high school students in the District Sukawati Gianyar regency. Service activities that have been conducted in SMU 1 Sukawati, these students showed enthusiasm in listening to the material that we provide. After counseling, community service our team provides time for students to discuss around the water control system and world heritage, and there are many students who are interested and ask questions about how to preserve Subak and what they should do as the younger generation. Abstract

Kopi merupakan andalan ekspor Bali. Potensi pengembangan lahan usahatani kopi Arabika di Bali belum dimanfaatkan.  Namun produktivitas hasil kopi Arabika Bali masih rendah. Jumlah petani kopi makin berkurang. Keberlanjutan usahatani Kopi Arabika Bali terancam. Akibatnya sumber pendapatan daerah berkurang. Penting mempertahankan keberlanjutan usahatani kopi Arabika Bali. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor pendorong keberlanjutan usahatani kopi Arabika di Bali. Lokasi penelitian ditentukan dengan metode purposive. Lokasi penelitian merupakan sentra produksi kopi Arabika di Provinsi Bali. Metode pengumpulan data yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah surve, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Instrument penelitian adalah kuesioner. Metode penentuan jumlah sampling berdasarkan rumus Slovin dengan tingkat eror sebesar 15% yaitu 52 petani. Metode penentuan sampling berdasarkan random sampling. Analisis dimensi ekonomi menggunakan pendekatan pendapatan usahatani, dimensi sosial, lingkungan, dan teknologi menggunakan pendekatan analisis faktor konfirmatori. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dimensi ekonomi dilihat dari pendapatan usahatani kopi Arabika di Bali tahun 2019 per luas rata-rata lahan garapan petani (0,86 ha) sebesar Rp 22.820.376. Kontribusi pendapatan usahatani kopi Arabika di Bali terhadap pendapatan keluarga adalah sebesar 69,07%. Pengalaman Berusahatani (X22), umur petani (X20), dan pendidikan petani (X21) merupakan komponen Faktor Sosial. Pembuatan rorak (X13), Jumlah Anggota keluarga (X23), melakukan penanaman kembali (X12), penggunaan bibit lokal bermutu (X11), petani mengetahui kondisi lahannya (X10) mewakili Faktor Lingkungan. Penggunaan penaung (X14), umur tanaman (X5), penggunaan air bersih (X9), dan panen petik merah (X19) merupakan komponen pembentuk Faktor Teknologi.

Abstract

Analysis of Coffee Export Value of Bali Province and Its Affecting Factors This research aims to find out how much the contribution of coffee exports to the GDP of the agricultural sector of Bali Province, to know the factors that affect the value of coffee exports of Bali Province and to know the trend and the trend forecast of coffee export value for the next five years. This research was conducted in Bali Province using secondary data derived from government agencies. Data were analyzed based on contributions theory, multiple linear regression analysis and trend analysis. The results showed that the average contribution of coffee export of Bali Province to GDP of agriculture of Bali Province is 17,41%. The result of factors that estimated in this research stated that all significant factor to coffee export value of Bali Province is 72,3% and the remaining 27,7% is explained by other factors outside the study. Factors that partially significantly affect the value of coffee exports are coffee export volume of Bali province, world coffee price and US dollar exchange rate. Trend and forecasting export value of Bali Province coffee is projected to increased in the next five years, which is 2016 to 2020. Suggestions that can be given is increaseing export volume is very important to do because the export volume is the most influental factor on export coffee value, so it needs to be done product quality improvement and network marketing expansion.
