Abstract

Abstrak: Judul penelitian ini adalah bercerita mengembangkan sopan santun anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Pertiwi 1 Pontianak Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran bercerita dalam mengembangkan karakter sopan santun anak usia 4-5 tahun di Taman Kanak-Kanak Pertiwi 1 Pontianak Barat. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi partisipatif, wawancara, dokumentasi. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah panduan observasi dan catatan lapangan, panduan wawancara, dan dokumen. Sedangkan hasil penelitian yang dinilai dalam penelitian ini adalah  ini guru merencanakan kegiatan bercerita. pelaksanakan dalam kegiatan bercerita, Penilaian pada kegiatan bercerita yang dilakukan dengan melakukan teknik bertanya pada akhir kegiatan bercerita. Kata Kunci: Bercerita, Sopan Santun Anak, Anak  4-5 tahun Abstract: The title of this research is to develop the courtesy of children aged 4-5 years in TK Pertiwi 1 Pontianak Barat. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The purpose of this study is to describe the learning of storytelling in developing the character of courtesy of children aged 4-5 years in Kindergarten of Pertiwi 1 Pontianak Barat. The research technique used in this research is participant observation, interview, documentation. Data collection tools used in this study are observation guides and field notes, interview guides, and documents. While the results of research assessed in this study is this teacher planning activities telling stories. Conducting in the activities of storytelling, Evaluation on the activities of storytelling done by doing the technique to ask at the end of the story-telling activities. Keywords: Storytelling, Manners, Children 4-5 years

Abstract

AbstaractOne of the components to realize the quality of the school is the Principal Leadership and the quality of services provided to the students so as to produce qualified learners. It is expected that with the improvement of leadership function in the form of moving, guiding, influencing, directing personal school can improve school quality and overcome the obstacles. The focus of this research is Principal Leadership with research questions directed at: How the ability of school principals to mobilize, guide, influence, and direct personal school can improve the quality of school and what obstacles and how the solution to improve quality in SDN No. 8 Tengguli Kecamatan Sajad Sambas Regency ?. Qualitative research method of case study research type. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documents. It's a book of android phones, laptops. The results revealed that the leadership traits conducted by the head of SDN. 8 Tengguli Kecamatan Sajad Sambas Regency such as the ability to move, guide, influence, direct and motivate the personal to improve academic achievement in the institution he leads show that the concept has a tendency in line with that put forward by experts. However, the academic achievement of the school during its last 2 (two) years of leadership has declined because the principal has not mastered the philosophy and social history of the quality program (BERSINAPLAH) conducted by the previous headmaster's leadership.        Keywords: Principal Leadership,  moving, guiding, influencing, directing

Abstract

AbstractThis research aim to know the influence supervise the academic and motivate the headmaster job to discipline work the elementary schoolteacher in subdistrict of Jawai of South arch of regency Sambas. Approach used by is quantitative approach with the study corelational. Research data of about supervision academic ( Variable X1), motivate the headmaster job( Variable X2), and discipline work the teacher (Variable Y) collected by through/ passing enquette spreading to responder by using technique of proportional random sampling.Result of research indicate that the supervision academic show the result which significan with the discipline work the teacher that is reach 42,5%. Though do not show the dominant result but supervise this academic of vital importance so that teacher can realize the attainer of study target. And so do the things of with the motivation work the headmaster, result of from research got by Beta ( b1) of equal to 0,388 = 38,8%, the result show the existence of influence which significan with the discipline work the teacher. While influence supervise the academic ( X1) and motivate the headmaster job ( X2) by together with discipline work the teacher  ( Visible Y) from R2 ( R Square) equal to 0,723 or 72,3%. This matter indicate that the independent variable relation link percentag (supervise the academic and motivate the headmaster job) with the variable dependent (discipline work the teacher) equal to 72,3%. Keyword : Supervise The Academic, Motivate The Headmaster Job, Discipline Work Teacher

Abstract

AbstractThis research hopes to reveal the influence of the principal's situational leadership and the principal's motivation giving to the performance of elementary school teachers in Sebawi Sub-district, Sambas District. The research method is descriptive and the data collection technique is done by using a questionnaire. The sample of this research is elementary teacher in Sebawi sub-district of Sambas regency that is 57 respondents. The instrument consists of three variables that are principal situational leadership (X1), principal motivation (X2), and teacher performance (Y).Based on the analysis, this research obtained some findings. First, there was a significant influence between the principal's situational leadership on the performance of elementary school teachers, secondly, there was a significant influence between the principal's motivation giving toward the performance of elementary school, and thirdly, there was a significant influence between situational leadership and principal's motivation giving toward teacher performance.On the basis of the results of the study, for a principal to improve the teachers' performance, he needs to apply situational leadership style and should be able to provide motivation to improve the teachers' enthusiasm and performance. Meanwhile, the teachers are advised to always improve their performance for the sake of the improvement of the quality of education.Keywords: Headmaster's principal leadership, principal motivation, teacher performance

Abstract

Abstract: Grammar is one of important aspects in learning English. Most students faced difficulties in applying correct grammar in their writing. This study aimed to find out common students’ grammatical error in writing. This research was a descriptive research. This study showed that the most common students’ grammatical error is in the use of preposition with the percentage 36.8%. The error was commonly caused by the interference from their first language (interlanguage error) and the students’ problems inherent within the target language. Keywords : Grammar, Errors

Abstract

Tropical peat forest ecosystems have multiple benefits as regulating hydrological system, carbon storage, timber and non-timber products, and protecting the biodiversity. Lack of understanding of these functions, short-term economic benefits is more preferable despite reducing its ecological benefits. This study proposed a system dynamics model of tropical peat forest ecosystem in determining its optimum management for extractive utilizations (timber and non-timber forest products), environmental services, and biodiversity. A dynamics model was used to describe changes in peatland and forest cover, biomass accumulation and carbon storage, and total economic value of tropical peat forest ecosystem in Trumon and Singkil, Southern Aceh. The projection showed that peat forest ecosystem benefits would decline in the long term if degradations continue at the same rate over last decade. Efforts to change the primary peat forest to plantation would reduce the total economic value of ecosystem and biodiversity values at level -19.63% and -26.28% from current conditions. Carbon emissions were increased at 117.32 tons CO2 eq ha-1 year-1, higher than average of carbon losses from peatland oxidation. Preserving 50% of forest vegetation on moderate depth and protection very deep peatlands would reduce emission -6.96% to -35.06%  and increase forest carbon storage at significant rate +15.06% to +63.32%, respectively. These mitigation schemes would improve the biodiversity and hydrological function. Forest rehabilitation with agroforestry practices will enhance carbon uptake, especially on degraded lands.

Abstract

Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk  mendapatkan informasi tentang persepsi dari berbagai lembaga strategis terhadap  setiap  kriteria  indikator Pengelolaan Hutan  Alam Produksi  Lestari (PHAPL),  hasil  pengujian penerapan kriteria dan indikator, permasalahan yang muncul, dan hasil perumusan berbagai strategi pengelolaan hutan lestari. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pemenuhan kriteria prasyarat memiliki bobot tertinggi terhadap pencapaian pengelolaan hutan lestari khususnya indikator kepastian kawasan unit manajemen. Disadari oleh masing-masing stakeholder bahwa kepastian status unit manajemen merupakan dasar dari kepastian pengusahaan hutan dan ketidakpastian, hal ini merupakan akar dari konflik yang terjadi antara masyarakat dengan pemegang konsesi Hak Pengusahaan Hutan (HPH). Masalah ini juga diakibatkan oleh tidak terakomodasikannya kepentingan masyarakat terhadap sumberdaya hutan. Oleh karena itu strategi pemecahannya harus diarahkan pada penetapan kepastian kawasan, perbaikan pasar perkayuan (termasuk pengatasan illegal trade), dan pengikursertaan masyarakat dalam kegiatan pengelolaan hutan. Dalam implementasi penilaian kriteria dan indikator PHAPL, mekanisme penilaian yang terlalu spesifik dan kaku cenderung menyulitkan penilai untuk mengakomodasikan dinamika perubahan yang terjadi dan juga cenderung lebih bersifat teknis  prosedural, sehingga diperlukan perumusan kembali  terutama berkaitan dengan berbagai aspek gangguan dan kondisi spesifik hutan alam produksi.

Abstract

ABSTRAKHutan rawa gambut merupakan salah satu ekosistem spesifik dan kompleks. Terbatasnya pemahaman terhadap karakteristik biofisik dan sifat kritisnya menjadi akar masalah degradasi ekosistem gambut di Indonesia. Generalisasi penerapan kriteria lahan kritis menyebabkan penilaian menjadi tidak tepat, sehingga program rehabilitasi menjadi tidak efektif. Tujuan penelitian adalah menentukan faktor-faktor biofisik yang mempengaruhi tingkat kekritisan ekosistem gambut, dan mengembangkan kriteria dan klasifikasi tingkat kekritisan ekosistem gambut. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan pada berbagai tipe penutupan hutan dan tingkat keterbukaan lahan gambut di Trumon dan Singkil, Provinsi Aceh. Analisis data meliputi analisis korelasi bivariat, analisis gerombol, dan analisis diskriminan. Karakteristik biofisik yang diukur adalah dinamika kedalaman muka air tanah, penurunan permukaan tanah, tingkat dekomposisi, unsur hara, kehilangan karbon, dan penutupan lahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perubahan penutupan lahan dan pembangunan drainase mempengaruhi tingkat kekritisan ekosistem gambut. Perubahan tingkat dekomposisi gambut (nisbah C/N), perubahan kemasaman (pH) dan dinamika kedalaman muka air tanah merupakan penciri penting tingkat kekritisan ekosistem gambut. Ketiga faktor penciri ini diharapkan menjadi masukan dalam penyempurnaan kriteria tingkat kekritisan lahan pada Permenhut No. P.32/Menhut-II/2009 terutama pada ekosistem gambut.ABSTRACTPeat swamp forest is one specific and complex ecosystem. The limited understanding of the biophysical characteristics and critical properties are some root of problems peat ecosystem degradation in Indonesia. Generalizing in application of critical land criterions caused incorrect assessment, therefore the rehabilitation and management programs became ineffective. The objectives of the study was to determine the biophysical factors that influence the degree of criticality of peat ecosystem, and to develop criterion and classification of the criticality degree on peat ecosystem. Data collection was conducted on variety of forest cover types in Trumon and Singkil, Aceh Province. Data analysis included bivariate correlation analysis, analysis of clusters, and discriminant analysis. Biophysical characteristics were measured including the dynamics of the depth of the water table, rate of subsidence, level of decomposition, nutrient content, loss of carbon, and land/forest cover. Results showed land use change and drainage affects the critical level of peatland ecosystems. The change on level of peat decomposition (C/N ratio), soil acidity (pH) and groundwater dynamics were the identifier of critical peatland ecosystems. In addition to the criteria in Regulation No. P.32 / Menhut-II/2009, the identifier factors were expected to be considered in the refinement of the criteria of the critical level of peat ecosystem.

Abstract

Abstract       This study aims to: 1) Design the prescriptions of learning tasks that are contained in three-dimensional book media structure and cell functions. 2) Describe the three-dimensional book designing media techniques for cell structure and function. 3) Generate three-dimensional book media display of cell structure and function. 4) Know the acquisition of learning structure and cell function after using the media of three-dimensional book (Pop up book). This research type is research and development with quantitative approach. The research samples used random sampling technique in homogenous population in class XI MIPA 1, XI MIPA 2, XI MIPA 3, XI MIPA 4, XI MIPA 5, XI MIPA 6, XI MIPA 7, XI MIPA 8, and XI MIPA 9. Random sampling technique obtained by one class as research sample that is class XI MIPA 8 SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak. The results of the research are: 1) Learners become very helpful in understanding the concept of cell structure and function in the presence of learning scenarios that contain learning tasks that reflect the scientific approach stages; observing, questioning, collecting data, associating and communicating - as prescriptions of learning tasks. 2) The three-dimensional book is designed based on the learners' needs analysis aimed at solving learning problems. 3) The learners' enthusiasm in the study of cell material can be raised and motivated by a three-dimensional book view of cell structure and function. 4) The acquisition of learning the concept of cell structure and function increases as a result of the three-dimensional book. This can be seen from the results of t-test calculations. In the final stages of data analysis is the value of t arithmetic equal to -9.161 with Sig 0.000. Because Sig <0.05 can be concluded that the use of three-dimensional book structure and cell function can improve learning achievement learners.        Keywords: Three-Dimensional Books, Acquisition of Learning Concepts of Cell Structure and Function

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine teacher perceptions of the educational profession. The method in this study uses qualitative methods. The results showed that: (1) teachers' perceptions of the task in terms of the selection aspect show that teachers had an opinion on the need to use their knowledge and experience in choosing information  related to preparing Lesson Plans; (2) teacher perceptions in terms of organizational aspects show the teacher sees the need to distinguish true information related to education and distinguish between the main tasks of teachers and those that are not appropriate tasks; (3) teacher perceptions in terms of interpretation show that teachers believe the educational profession is a noble profession; (4) teacher perceptions in terms of gender indicate that female teachers have stronger perceptions than male teachers; (5) teachers' perceptions in terms of educational background show that teachers with a Master degree have higher perceptions than teachers with a bachelor degree / Diploma two / High School equivalent; (6) teachers' perceptions in terms of years of service, it was found that teachers who had a tenure of 15 to 24 years had higher perceptions than teachers who had other tenure.    Keywords: Teacher's Perceptions, Educational Profession.
