Abstract

The purpose of this study was to (1) describe the current condition of implementation of inclusive education in primary schools, (2) to develop a model of inclusive education management, and (3) to examine the effectiveness of the management model of inclusive education in primary schools. Method of Research and Development (R & D) was used in this study, with the following stages: (1) a preliminary study to see the existing implementation of inclusive education in elementary schools through literature review and field study, (2) developing a model of inclusive education management, and (3) examining  the effectiveness of inclusive education management model. This research was conducted in 51 inclusive schools located in four districts namely; Surakarta, Boyolali, Sukoharjo, and Karanganyar. The subject of this research consisted of principals, class teachers, students with special needs education (SNE), students without SNE, and school committee. The results of the preliminary study concluded (1) the use of existing performance indicators principals and teachers, the implementation of inclusive education in primary schools did not meet the expected criteria, (2) one of the most widely perceived obstacle is the unavailability of standardized management of inclusive schools, (3) response of the school committee, students with SNE, and students without SNE to inclusive education category is quite positive, (4) the inclusive schools did not run functions and aspects of school management adequately, (5) the schools urgently needed guide management of inclusive education. The final product of the development of inclusive education management model requires that inclusive schools run the four functions of management; planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling, by combining the nine aspects of school management in terms of institutional management, curriculum, teaching process, evaluation, student, facilities, human resources, public participation and financing. To run the management model of inclusive education effectively, guide book on inclusive education management should be provided. The result of the evaluation by principals and teachers indicated that inclusive education management model was very effective. From the result, it is recommended that the guide book be disseminated for use as a guideline in the management of inclusive education in elementary schools in Indonesia.

Abstract

The existing studies have resulteda coaching model for certified mathematics teachersof junior high schoolusing Mathematics Coaching Program (MCP). In this coaching program, mathematics teachers were given the opportunity to convey, discuss, and solve the problems associated with learning mathematics. At the end of each meeting, the teachers were given the task to apply the learning model that is an alternative for the problem solution in the field. With this training, teachers implement training materials using learning model chosen in each school. As teachers implement the model, the monitoring was held by the trainers and principals. At that time, the teachers still received coaching using social networking media through email (e-coaching). By e-coaching, without waiting for the next meeting, the teachers received the necessary guidance. The coaching results indicate that the competence of junior high school math teacher who have been certified is improved. Before getting the coaching program, the mean value of teacher was at 43.695 which means “intermediate” level. After getting the coaching program with MCP model, the mean value of professional competence becomes 73.2 which is “high” level After being tested using t-test, it is obtained that thit = 14,095. The result shows significant difference before and after the professional competence receivethe coaching program using MCP model which is followed by monitoring and e-Coaching (MEC). Regardingto the mean value, MCP model which is followed by the MEC is effective to be used to improve teachers’ performance, in this case is, to increase teachers’ professional competence.

Abstract

Vocational High School (SMK) is a type of secondary education that specifically prepares its graduates to become skilled and trained workers. Therefore, there is an urgency to provide a marketing service for the graduates through a special employement unit (BKK). This study discusses the development of a BKK management model in SMK. The preparation of BKK model design began with the field study to obtain factual condition in the field. This research was conducted using of Research and Development (R & D) method. This study was set in four vocational schools which had BKK. The four study sites were in SMK N 4 Semarang BKK, SMK N 6 Semarang BKK, SMK N 8 Semarang BKK, SMK N 9 Semarang BKK, as well as the representatives of industrial market in Central Java. The steps of the model in this study include (1) a factual analysis models of Special employement unit (BKK), (2) development of a conceptual model, (3) the needs analysis of BKK, (4) the development of a hypothetical model, (5) the development of a final model. The results show that the factual conditions in SMK BKK do not exhibit any optimal progress, especially dealing with their duties in marketing the SMK graduates. The aspect of finance greatly affects the implementation of SMK BKK. BKK Model Management in SMK is expected to overcome the problems encountered in the area of BKK

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang pertumbuhanikan belanak Liza subviridis di perairan TamanNasional Ujung Kulon, Pandeglang-Banten. Tujuanpenelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan panjangberat dan faktor kondisi. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitunilai R untuk jantan 98,5% dan betina 98,7% dankeduanya mempunyai pola pertumbuhan alometriknegatif. Nilai faktor kondisi jantan 1,0053 ± 0,1032dan betina 1,0072 ± 0,1201.Kata kunci: Belanak, mangrove, panjang-berat, faktorkondisi, Taman Nasional Ujung Kulon.

Abstract

The fisherman communities are still living within its limitations. The social limitations experienced by fishermen did not materialize in the form of alienation, but more manifested in the inability of fisherman communities to take part in the economic market activities. In general, the implementation of e-commerce in business can improve the quality of the product / service and lower the production cost which will eventually decrease the selling price (e-commerce or e- usiness), Besides, low socio-economic level is a common feature of fisherman's life wherever located. Their level of living is commensurate with that of small farmers, even when compared with other farmers in the agricultural sector, fishermen groups (especially fisherman workers and small fishermen or traditional fishermen) can be classified as poor social layers. This paper discusses, what efforts are made to empower fishermen. The answer is only two, that are: by establishing Fisherman Cooperative, because Poverty eradication of fishermen can be done with development of Fisherman cooperative, beside that also by doing marketing ecommerce because with marketing through ecommerce make business (Fisherman Cooperative) can directly communicate with buyers, so they can gain more profit.Keywords : Empowering Fishermen, Cooperatives,E-Commerce Masyarakat nelayan masih hidup dalam keterbatasan. Keterbatasan sosial yang dialami oleh nelayan memang tidak terwujud dalam bentuk keterasingan, tetapi lebih terwujud pada ketidakmampuan masyarakat nelayan dalam mengambil bagian dalam kegiatan ekonomi pasar secara menguntungkan. Secara umum, implementasi e-commerce dalam bisnis dapat meningkatkan kualitas dari produk/service serta menurunkan biaya produksi yang akhirnya akan menurunkan harga penjualan (ecommerce atau e-bisnis), Disamping itu tingkat sosial-ekonomi yang rendah merupakan ciri umum kehidupan nelayan dimanapun berada. Tingkat kehidupan mereka setaraf dengan petani kecil, bahkan jika dibandingkan secra seksama dengan kelompok masyarakat lain di sektor pertanian, kelompok nelayan (khususnya nelayan buruh dan nelayan kecil atau nelayan tradisional) dapat digolongkan sebagai lapisan social yang miskin. Tulisan ini membahas, upaya apa dilakukan untuk pemberdayaan nelayan. Jawabannya hanya ada dua, yaitu : dengan mendirikan Koperasi Nelayan, karena Pengentasan kemiskinan nelayan dapat dilakukan dengan pengembangan Koperasi Nelayan, disamping itu juga dengan melakukan pemasaran secara?e-commerce? karena dengan pemasaran melalui e-commerce membuat pelaku bisnis (Koperasi Nelayan) dapat langsung berkomunikasi dengan pembelinya, sehingga mereka dapat memproleh keuntungan yang lebih.Kata kunci : Pemberdayaan Nelayan, Koperasi, E-Commerce?
