Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar mata pelajaran pengantar ekonomi dan bisnis siswa kelas X PM 1 SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta tahun ajaran 2014/2015 melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD.Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilaksanakan secara kolaborasi antara peneliti dengan guru mata pelajaran pengantar ekonomi dan bisnis. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X PM 1 SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian adalah observasi, tes, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Prosedur penelitian meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe students teams achievement division (STAD) dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar dan hasil belajar peserta didik dari pra siklus ke siklus I dan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Hal ini terbukti pada siklus I keaktifan peserta didik dari segi mental activities meningkat (presentase pra siklus 0,00% dan siklus I 35,00%), keaktifan peserta didik dari segi oral activities meningkat (presentase pra siklus 0,00% dan siklus I 32,00%), keaktifan peserta didik dari segi visual activities meningkat (presentase pra siklus 12,90% dan siklus I 32,26%), keaktifan peserta didik dari segi listening activities meningkat (presentase pra siklus 32,26% dan siklus I 48,58%), keaktifan peserta didik dari segi writing activities meningkat (presentase pra siklus 6,45% dan siklus I 61,71%). Hasil belajar peserta didik juga mengalami peningkatan yaitu sebesar 23,79 (nilai rata-rata pra siklus 71,68 dan nilai rata-rata siklus I 81,01) dan presentase ketuntasan meningkat 22,79%(presentase pra siklus 38,50% dan siklus I 61,29%). Pada siklus II keaktifan peserta didik terus meningkat, terbukti keaktifan peserta didik dari segi mental activities meningkat 26% (presentase siklus I 35,00% dan siklus II 61,00%), keaktifan peserta didik dari segi oral activities meningkat 42% (presentase siklus I 32,00% dan siklus II 74,00%), keaktifan peserta didik dari segi visual activities meningkat 45,32% (presentase siklus I 32,26% dan siklus II 77,58%), keaktifan peserta didik dari segi listening activities meningkat 22,68% (presentase siklus I 48,58% dan siklus II 71,26%), keaktifan peserta didik dari segi writing activities meningkat 22% (presentase siklus I 61,71 % dan siklus II 83,71%). Hasil belajar peserta didik pada siklus II juga mengalami peningkatan yaitu sebesar 4,06 (nilai rata-rata siklus I 81,01 dan nilai rata-rata siklus II 85,07) dan presentase ketuntasan meningkat  25,81% (presentase siklus I 61,29% dan siklus II 87,10%).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas X IIS 1 SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta tahun ajaran 2014/2015 melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) dengan mind mapping. Model penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan kolaborasi antara guru kelas, peneliti, dan melibatkan siswa. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan prestasi belajar ekonomi melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) dengan mind mapping. Prestasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan yaitu sebesar 6,78 (nilai rata-rata pra siklus 72,45 dan nilai rata-rata siklusI 79,23) dan persentase ketuntasan meningkat 16,31% (persentase pra siklus 50,06% dan siklus I 74,19%). Prestasi belajar siswa pada siklus II juga terus mengalami peningkatan yaitu sebesar 5,36 (nilai ratarata siklusI 79,23 dan nilai rata-rata siklus II 84,59) dan persentase ketuntasan meningkat 19,36% (persentase siklus I 74,19% dan siklus II 93,55%).

Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate the improvement of the learning achievement in Economics subject matter of the students in Grade X IIS 1 of State Senior Secondary School 5 Surakarta in Academic Year 2014/2015 through the implementation of Group Investigation and Mind Mapping learning models. This research used the classroom action research and was conducted in collaboration among the Economics subject matter teacher and students of the school and the researcher. The result of research shows that the implementation of the Group Investigation and Mind Mapping learning models could improve the students’ learning achievement in Economics subject matter and learning completeness percentage. The students’ average score improved as much as 6.78 in Cycle I and 5.36 in Cycle II respectively; prior to the treatment, it was 72.45, and following the treatment, it became 79.23 in Cycle I and 84.59 in Cycle II respectively. In addition, the students’ learning completeness percentage improved as much as 16.31% in Cycle I and 19.36% in Cycle II; prior to the treatment it was 50.06%, and following the treatment, it became 74.19% in Cycle I and 93.55% in Cycle II respectively.

Abstract

Participatory learning model in functional literacy education attempts to involve learners completely to contribute and to participate actively in any stages of learning activity. This research aimed to apply participatory learning model and to find out the effect of participatory learning application on functional literacy education in rural community learners. This study was a research and development by producing a participatory learning model product applied to motivate the learners in rural community learning group of Semarang Regency. The design used in developing the model product was ADDIE model. Learning model trial was carried out using experimental research with pretest-posttest control group design. The participants of research involved 2 learning group with 35 learners in experiment group and 30 learners in control group. The result of trial was analyzed using statistic t-test. The result of research showed that (1) the application of participatory learning model could grow active participation and learner independency by utilizing their self-potency and environment, 2) Participatory learning affected positively the improvement of learners’ learning motivation with the mean score difference between pretest and posttest of 12.95 experiment group higher than 4.76 control group, and the learning outcome of learners improved with the mean score difference between pretest and posttest of  0.59 experiment group)higher than 0.3 control group. The application of participatory learning model was made the literacy acceleration process by involving the learners in functional literacy education as the attempt of empowering the rural community. The implications of the participatory learning model on functional literacy education can increase the active participation of the learning community, the motivation of learning, and the competence of the learning community. The implications for this participant learning model tutor can increase the creativity and innovation in teaching the learners of functional literacy education in rural communities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to enhance the activity and student achievement in the subjects operate office equipment Office class XI student of SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo.This research used the Classroom Action Research (CAR). The study was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects were students of class XI Departement Office of State Vocational High School 1 Sukoharjototaling 32 students. Source of data derived from students, teachers, and documents. Data collection techniques are observation, testing, documentation and interviews. Techniques for the validity of the data used triangulation of data sources and triangulation methods. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis techniques , qualitative analysis techniques and comparative description.The results of research shows that through the application of cooperative learning model with type Group Investigation (GI) can improve activeness and learning achievement Manage office equipment at Grade XI Departement Office State Vocational High School 1 Sukoharjo In Academic Year 2015/2016. The increase occurred in the first cycle and the second cycle. Before application of cooperative learning model with type Group Investigation (GI) grade average score is 73 with the percentage of completeness 34.8%. In the first cycle class average value increased to 77.12 with the percentage of completeness 78.13% and the second cycle the average value increased to 80 grade with a percentage of completeness 84.83%. The conclusions of this research is the application of cooperative learning model type Group Investigation (GI) can improve learning achievement Goods Administration subject matter in Grade XI Marketing of State Vocational High School 1 Sukoharjo.

Abstract

The research aims to improve students’ economic learning outcomes through Quantum Learning model by using Mind Mapping method of X MIA 1 in SMA N 5 Surakarta. This research used classroom action research method. There were 2 cycles in this research which each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation and refelction. The subject of the research was X MIA 1 students in SMA N 5 Surakarta which consists of 35 students. Data were collected by observation, interview, test and documentation. These data were analyzed with descriptive comparative technique and critical analysis.The result of this research showed that the implementation of Quantum learning model with Mind Mapping method can improve students’ economic learning outcomes of X MIA 1 in SMA N 5 Surakarta. The percentage of students’ passing the test was increasing to 48,56% from 37,14% in pre-cycle, 74,30 % in cycle 1 and 85,70 % in cycle 2. Moreover, the mean score of the test is also increasing to 14,9 %, from 65,51 % in pre-cycle, 78,1 % in cycle 1, and  80,41 % in cycle 2. The conclusion based on the research is that Quantum Learning model with Mind Mapping method can improve students’ economic learning outcomes of  X MIA 1 in SMA N 5 Surakarta.

Abstract

Background: The aims of this research are to know: (1) The difference of effect between internet media and VCD media to the achievement in social science of economics , (2) The difference of effect between high learning motivation  and low learning motivation to the  achievement in social science of economics, (3) The effect interaction between learning media and students learning motivation to the achievement in social science of economics. Subjects and Methods: The kind of research used in this study is experiment. The population of the research is the students of junior high school at the Islamic Foundation in Kartasura and Gatak District.  All of the samples were taken by using a multi-stage cluster random sampling technique.  The sample is 127 students represent the population of 771 students.  The data of the research were gathered by using questionnaire for learning motivation and test for learning achievement.  The data were analyzed by a two-way analysis of variance.Results and Conclusion:(1) There was significant effect difference between internet media and VCD media to the achievement in social science of economics (Fobs: 243.86 > Ftable: 3.84), (2) there was significant effect difference between high learning motivation and low learning motivation toward achievement in social science of economic between students who have high motivation to students who have low motivation (Fobs: 27.526> Ftable: 3.84 ), (3) there was effect interaction between learning media and learning motivation for achievement social science of economics (Fobs: 6.396 > F table: 3.84). All of at significance level of 0.05.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to increase the learning outcomes of transaction operating tools lesson on sale location of XI Marketing-3 Grade SMKN 1 Sukoharjo through the applying of the Role Playing method.This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted in two cycles, wich consist planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research was XI Marketing-3 Grade of SMKN 1 Sukoharjo which consists 36 students. The source of data was from the students, the teachers, and the documents. Technique of collecting data was observation, test, documentation and interviews. Techniques for the validity of the data using triangulation of data sources. The data analysis used descriptive analysis techniques, qualitative analysis techniques and comparative description.The results of the research showed that applying the method of Role Playing can increase the learning outcomes of transaction operating tools on sale location of XI Marketing-3 Grade of SMKN 1 Sukoharjo in Academic Year 2015/2016. It was proved there is increasing in cycle I and cycle II. Before applying the method of Role Playing the average score of the classroom was 70 with precentage of success 36.11%. In the cycle I the average score increased to 80.75 with precentage of success 77.78% and in the cycle II the average score of the classroom increased to 87.25 with precentage of success 88.89%. The conclusion of this research was applying the method of Role Playing can increase the students learning outcomes of transaction operating tools on sale location of XI Marketing-3 Grade SMKN 1 Sukoharjo.

Abstract

The objective of research is to improve the learning activeness and learning outcomes in the subject matter of Introduction to Economics and Business of the students in Grade X of Marketing Department of State Vocational High School 1 of Banyudono in Academic Year 2015/2016 through the application of think pair share teaching combined with power point media. This study used the classroom action research (CAR) with two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four phases i.e. planning, implementation, observation, and analysis & reflection. Its subjects were 29 students of the aforementioned school. The data of research were collected through (a) in-depth interview, (b) observation, (c) documentation, and (d) test. The application of the think pair share teaching combined with power point media can improve the learning activeness and learning outcomes in the Introduction to Economics and Business subject matter from Pre-cycle to Cycle I and from Cycle I to Cycle II. The percentage of the students’ learning activeness in visual activities is 13.79% in Pre-cycle, and it becomes 27.59% in Cycle I and 75.86% in Cycle II respectively; the percentage of the students’ learning activeness in oral activities is 0.00% in Pre-cycle, and it becomes 30.79% in Cycle I and 75,86% in Cycle II respectively; the percentage of the students’ learning activeness in writing activities is 0.00% in Pre-cycle, and it becomes 58.62% in Cycle I and 82.76% in Cycle II respectively; the percentage of the students’ learning activeness in mental activities is 0.00% in Pre-cycle, and it becomes 30.90% in Cycle I and 62.07% in Cycle II respectively; the percentage of the students’ learning activeness in emotional activities is 31.00% in Pre-cycle, and it becomes 44.69% in Cycle I and 72.41% in Cycle II respectively. Furthermore, the students’ average score is 73.96 in Pre-cycle, and it becomes 80.73 in Cycle I and 85.28 in Cycle II respectively. Finally, the percentage of the students’ learning completeness is 48.28% in Pre-cycle, and it becomes 65.52% in Cycle I and 86.21% in Cycle II.

Abstract

The objective of research was to improve the learning achievement of negotiation and confirmation matter in the students of State Vocational High School 1 of Sukoharjo through using blog as learning media. This study was a classroom action research (CAR). This research was taken place in two cycles in nine meetings, with duration of 2 x 45 minutes for each meeting, and each cycles consisted of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subject of research was the 11th Marketing 1 Graders of State Vocational High School 1 of Sukoharjo in the school year of 2014/2015, consisting of 33 students. Techniques of collecting data used were observation, test, field note, interview, and documentation. Technique analyse data is quantitative analysis, analysis qualitative, analyse comparability. The result of research showed that the utilization of blog could evidently improve learning achievement. It could be seen from the increase in the students’ learning outcome score from the mean class score of 71.69 in pre cycle to 83.83 in cycle I (increasing by 12.14 points) and from the learning passing score of 45.45% in pre cycle to 87.87% in cycle II (increasing by 42.42%). Meanwhile, for the learning outcome in cycle II, the mean class score increased by 1.43 points (from 83.83 in cycle I to 85.26 in cycle II) and the passing score by 6.07% (from 87.87% in cycle I to 93.94% in cycle II). Thus, it could be concluded that the utilization of blog as learning media to improve learning achievement had achieved the expected result in this research, in which the where each has achieved indicators reached by >75%.
