Abstract

  Abstract          The purpose of this research is to describing the validity of e-module flow virtual simulation based on macromedia flash. This research were developed by IDI (Instructional Development Institute) which has three major stages of the system approach, namely the stage of defining, developinng, and evaluating. Validation is done by the validator,the resuslts of the validaty analysis show that e-module flow virtual simulation based on macromedia flash included in valid criteria with the average overall aspect (Va) is 3.5.   Key word: validity, e-module, virtual simulation, macromedia flash

Abstract

Abstract   This development research aims to produce physics interactive learning materials in heat and thermo topic, insightful HOTS (High Order Thinking Skill) that can enhance the literacy science ability of students. The background of this research is the low literacy science ability of senior high school students/MA.  The research design used was Nieveen?s research design which consisted of three stages, namely preliminary research, prototyping stage, and assessement stage. The instruments used in this research were validation sheet and literacy science test. The results of expert validation retrieved that physics interactive learning materials insightful HOTS valid constructs and valid content. Based on development test results of the data analysis concluded: (1) the validity of physics interactive learning materials, insightful HOTS was at valid category with an average score of valid constructs was 4.17 and average score of valid content was 4, (2) the effectiveness of physics interactive learning materials in heat and thermo topic, insightful HOTS to improve students? literacy science skill showed that the average of N-Gain score was 0.59 which was in the medium category, so the physics interactive learning materials in heat and thermo topic, insightful HOTS was effective in improving literacy science skill.   Key Words: development, interactive learning materials, HOTS (High Order Thinking Skill), literacy science

Abstract

Model of discovery learning is a learning process that focuses on mental intellectual students in solving a variety of problems encountered, so that students can use her mental process to find a concept or the generalization of being studied and can be applied in the field. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence model of discovery learning process skills against science and learning results students on subjects science-physics at Islamic Junior High School Jember 1. This type of research is research experiments with design research using the post-test control group. Data collection methods included test, observation, portfolio, documentation, and interview. Methods of data analysis using Independent Sample T-Test with the help of SPSS 16. The results of this research are obtained average value of science process skills in the experimental class of 86,78 and 74,59 of the control class. Science process skills based on the results of the analysis of the Independent Sample T-Test acquired ttest of 8,398. While the student learning results obtained average value on experiments of 85,23 class and grade control of 73.52 an. Results of the study based on the analysis of the Independent Sample T-Test acquired ttest of 8,387. Based on the data obtained, the conclusion that can be drawn is a model of discovery learning science process skills affects and results of student learning on subjects science-physics at Islamic Junior High School Jember 1.

Abstract

SQ3R method is an efficient method of reading that can involve students become active in constructing science and engaging students to be active in studying and understanding the material directly that consists of 5 steps: survey, question, read, recite, and review. In step students are required to recite to make concept maps according to the understanding the material being.  The purpose of this study was to describe the learning activities of students during the learning SQ3R method using of science, examines the differences in learning outcomes and retention result learn of science use SQ3R method with a method is commonly used in school. This type of research is research design the research experiments with using post-test control design. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Data analysis methods to test hypotheses using Independent Sample T-Test with the help of SPSS 16. The results of this research are the learning activities of students during the learning SQ3R method using of science criteria are active and there are significant differences in the results of the learning and retention of learning outcomes students use SQ3R method of science with method that are commonly used in schools.

Abstract

Lesson Study is a major form of improving the quality of learning and professional development of teacher by reviewing the classroom leraning process conducted by a group of teachers collaboratively in the long term and continuous. Lesson study in three stages, namely plan (planning), Do (implementation using a model CIRC), and See (reflection). The perpose of this study was to describe the increase in student learning activities for learning outcomes in science subjects by using CIRC model based lesson study in class IX F. The technicue of collecting data using interviews, documentation, testing, and observation. The results of analysis of the data showed on the stage og pre-cycle, cycle 1, and cycle 2 showed good activity deficits improve learning of 48,28%, 69,42%, and 71,14% or completeness of student learning outcomes 62,16%, 75,68%, and 83,78%. The conclusion from this study is that there is increased activity and mastery learning students with CIRC model-based lesson sudy in class IX F SMPN 9 Jember.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine The Effect Of Type Script Cooperative Learning Model By Using Practice Method Through Students’ Multipresentation Skill In Learning Physics at senior high school. This type of research is the study of experimental, the determination of population using purposive sampling area methods. This research was carried out in senior high schhol muhammadiyah 3 jember. The respondents determined after research carried out a test of its homogeneity. Design research using the control-group post test only design. Data from this research there are two type, the primary data and supporting data. The primary data obtained from test, and supporting data obtained from observation, documentationed intervie. The primary data processing using independent sample t-test. The result of t-test obtained by the value of the sig 0,000 < 0,05. Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, meaning that there is a significant difference between the results of Type Script Cooperative Learning Model By Using Practice Method commonly used by teacher. Abstract

This research focused on the application of POE learning model (Prediction, Observation and Explanation) accompanied by audiovisual media. The purpose of this research is to describe the scientific work skills of students by using POE learning model (Prediction, Observation and Explanation) accompanied by audiovisual media in science-physics learning in junior high school and assess the effect of POE learning model (Prediction, Observation and Explanation) accompanied by audiovisual media of student’s achievement science-physics learning in junior high school. This type of research is experiment research at SMP 1 Jember. Data collection method used were observation, portfolios, documentation, test and interview. Data analysis technique used is the independent sample t-test with SPSS 16.The analysis results of scientific work skills using descriptive analysis is 3,45 with the criteria is very good. The analysis result of student’s learning achievement is 0,723> 0,05. Based on the analysis result,we can concluded that the scientific work skills by POE learning model (Prediction, Observation and Explanation) accompanied by audiovisual media is categorized as very good but has no effect on student’s science achievement.

Abstract

This research discusses about development of LKS multirepresentation based problem solving that is used as an alternative physics learning in the classroom. The research’s purpose is to determine the logic validity of LKS, the problem solving skills of students after using LKS, and the student responses after using LKS. Design of this research use 4-D development models, then simple random sampling technique to choose the using class. The results of this research indicates that the logic validity of LKS multirepresentation based problem solving obtain a value 3,98 and included in quite valid category. The problem solving skills of students after use LKS multirepresentation based problem solving with average achieved 85% that included in good category. Meanwhile, the student responses after use LKS multirepresentation based problem solving divided six indicators, there are: the pleasure of learning with a value 97% that included in very good category, the newness of the learning components with a value 90% that included in very good category, the easiness of learning materials with a value 95% that included in very good category, the readability of learning process with a value 97% that included in very good category, the easiness of language with a value 92% that included in very good category, the pleasure of writing and drawing with a value 97% that included in very good category.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang bagaimana model pembelajaran problem based learning dengan pendekatan STEM. Pendekatan STEM merupakan suatu pendekatan yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan menggunakan beberapa cabang ilmu. Pendekatan STEM ini sangat cocok diterapkan dalam kurikulum 2013 agar siswa dapat lebih aktif dan lebih memahami konsep pada suatu materi yang diajarkan karena suatu proyek yang dihasilkan siswa dalam materi pembelajaran berkaitan langsung dengan dalam kehidupan nyata yang dialami siswa sehari-hari. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran problem based learning dengan pendekatan STEM terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMA. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada kelas XI Mipa3 di SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Jember, dengan 28 siswa yakni 11 siswa laki-laki dan 17 siswa perempuan. Metode yang digunakan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pre-eksperiment dengan desain One Group Pretest - Posttest Design. Data pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes awal dan tes akhir. Hasil belajar yang didapatkan siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran problem based learning dengan pendekatan STEM menghasilkan N-gain yang sedang.Kata Kunci: STEM Education, model PBL, hasil belajar siswa

Abstract

Atom Tritium merupakan salah satu atom yang memiliki sifat hidrogenik sehingga tergolong isotop atom hidrogen. Permasalahan terkait gejala atom hidrogenik dalam kuantum dapat diselesaikan dengan persamaan schrodinger. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya probabilitas posisi elektron dalam atom tritium pada bilangan kuantum n?3 dengan metode kajian teoritis. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian non eksperimen dengan mengembangkan teori yang sudah ada sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian berupa nilai probabilitas yang dapat memberikan informasi mengenai kedudukan dan peluang keberadaan elektron dalam atom tritium. Simulasi grafik distribusi probabilitas radial pada atom tritium menunjukkan peluang ditemukannya elektron dalam atom tritium semakin kecil jika posisinya elektronnya jauh dari inti atom.Kata kunci: probabilitas, atom tritium, persamaan schrodinger
