Abstract

Selective harmonic elimination (SHE) is an efficient method to eliminate low-order selected harmonics. However, due to nonlinearity in the problems, many optimization techniques give unsatisfied performances in finding optimum switching angles for the SHE. This paper proposes a modified moth-flame optimization algorithm to eliminate selective harmonics in cascaded multilevel inverters. The optimization algorithm is employed to find sets of optimum switching angles for cascaded 5-level, 7-level, and 9-level inverters. The results have shown that modified moth-flame optimization is beneficial in finding optimum switching angles. It performs better than moth-flame optimization (MFO) and differential evolution (DE) algorithms. The optimum switching angles are applied to generate switching pulses for a cascaded 9-level inverter to demonstrate the algorithm?s accuracy. As a result, the low-order harmonics are entirely removed from the ac output voltage of the inverter.

Abstract

Tidak adanya data rill tentang potensi energi angin di kawasan pesisir Sungai Kakap, Kabupaten Kubu Raya, sehingga pada penelitian ini akan menentukan apakah kecepatan energi angin di lokasi tersebut layak untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber energi listrik melalui konversi energi. Penelitian ini juga membandingkan beberapa persamaan pemodelan kurva daya parametrik polynomial linier, quadratic 1, quadratic 2, dan cubic untuk menentukan metode mana yang lebih efektif dan sesuai dengan spesifikasi turbin yang digunakan. Nilai daya listrik total selama setahun menggunakan persamaan linier sebesar 1806920,132 Wh, dan energi listriknya sebesar 1806,920132 kWh. Nilai daya listrik total selama setahun menggunakan persamaan quadratic 1 sebesar 623258,8124 Wh dan energi listriknya sebesar 623,2588124 kWh. Nilai daya listrik total selama setahun menggunakan persamaan quadratic 2 sebesar 1096880,311 Wh dan energi listriknya sebesar 1096,880311 kWh. Nilai daya dan energi listrik total selama setahun menggunakan persamaan cubic menunjukkan hasil yang minus sehingga persamaan tersebut tidak cocok dengan spesifikasi turbin yang digunakan. Hasil energi listrik yang digunakan adalah hasil energi listrik total selama setahun menggunakan persamaan parametrik polynimial quadratic 1. Konversi energi angin menjadi energi listrik tersebut masuk kategori angin kelompok II, kondisi ini cukup baik sebagai penggerak sistem konversi energi listrik skala kecil dan keperluan pemompaan.

Abstract

Persepsi masyarakat tentang apa yang disebut hukum Islam harus selalu terus dibina sebab hukum Islam mengalami stagnasi pada saat ini, karena fanatisme fikih dengan dasar pengetahuan ilmu agama yang sangat terbatas. Hukum Islam adalah kata pengganti dari dua istilah. Aslinya Syari’ah dan Fikih. Hal ini juga menimbulkan kekacauan pengertian dikalangan Islam maupun luar. Suatu hal yang biasa terjadi dimanapun. Hokum islam sangat eksis dalam kehidupan umat. Sebagian besar mereka bersikap fanatik fiqih. Untuk itu perlu terus ditingkat kembangkan eksistensi dan peran serta profesionalis hukum Islam di Negara hokum Pancasila Indonesia.

Abstract

Holy Quran pay great attention to the issue of the rule of law as one of  the pillars to achieve ishlahal-afarat wa al-mujtama’, although in fact the Qur’an is not a book of statute law. So that the law can be enforced among men, the Qur’an has provided the principles of fundamental importance. The most fundamental principle of justice; whereas the other principle is the elaboration of the principles of justice.

Abstract

This paper analyzes influences of renewable fraction on grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) for office building energy systems. The fraction of renewable energy has important contributions on sizing the grid-connected PV systems and selling and buying electricity, and hence reducing net present cost (NPC) and carbon dioxide (CO2) emission. An optimum result with the lowest total NPC for serving an office building is achieved by employing the renewable fraction of 58%, in which 58% of electricity is supplied from the PV and the remaining 42% of electricity is purchased from the grid. The results have shown that the optimum grid-connected PV system with an appropriate renewable fraction value could greatly reduce the total NPC and CO2 emission.
