Abstract

Abstrack: This study aims to determine the level of practicality of static fluid experiment kits and worksheets for experimental guides to the concept of static fluids, so as to produce a learning media that is feasible and practical to be used as a media for teaching Physics Science in Junior High School. The object of this study is an experimental device consisting of a static fluid experiment kit and an experiment guide book. The research method used is research and development. Data collection techniques used a practicality assessment sheet given to respondents consisting of 20 students and 3 science teachers at Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru junior high school.Data were analyzed descriptively to determine the value of the practicality of the experimental device. Descriptive analysis shows that the practicality of the static fluid experiment kit is in the very high category with an average score of 3.32 and 3.36. As well, the assessment of the practicality of the Student Worksheets was very high by teachers and students with an average score of 3.42 and 3.58. Therefore the experimental device along with the student worksheet experiment guide for the concept of static fluid is declared practical to be used as a media for learning physics at junior high school.KeyWords:Experimental Tool, Static Fluid, Student Worksheets, Practicality, Learning Media

Abstract

The conflict is asymmetry or disequilibrium among many person in the organization. The conflict causes the team work can to be weakness and the others work in the organization will be unsuccsess. Otherwise the conflict also can be positive effect, if the leader can manage to be the conflict well competitive among individual until the organization performance will be increase, for that the leader participation is very important in the conflict management.

Abstract

Utilization of renewable energy becomes a necessity in the future due to the fossil energy supply continues to decline. In Indonesia, the use of electricity from renewable sources is minimal. The utilization of solar energy in Indonesia is still limited to remote areas or islands. The main problem of electricity in Indonesia, especially in the city of Banda Aceh, is the frequent occurrence of power outages from the state power plant (PLN), especially during peak load time (WBP). Outside of that time, electricity supply exceeds demand. This study aims to utilize solar energy to reduce the electricity consumption of PLN during WBP. The system is designed to divert the power supply from PLN to the solar power plant (PLTS). The results of a survey of 10 A (current limit) customers are used as a reference to calculate PLTS capacity. During WBP, PLTS supplies to the load, beyond that time, PLN will supply the load. The system is designed to store maximum energy beyond the WBP period into the battery, the source of energy is mainly from the PLTS and alternatively from the PLN when the PLTS can not supply the maximum power. Based on battery energy, the system diverts the load supply from PLN when the battery energy is below the recharge limit. In the case of 10 A customers, with the energy requirement during WBP of 4.3 kWh, it requires 12 solar panels (160 Watt maximum power) arranged in parallel. Thus, the system needs three batteries with 150 Ah capacity also assembled in parallel. The implementation results prove that the PLTS can store solar energy to the battery properly, the system also successfully divert the PLTS source to the load at the time of WBP and transfer back to the PLN source when the battery energy is less than the recharge limit.

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this study is to the result of student?s process skill of class XI MIA 3 SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru on the material of kinetic theory of gas with the application of instructional media. This form of research is Pre Experimental Design with One Shot Case Study design. The subject of this research is class XI MIA 3 SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. Instrument of the data collection was test of the learning result of students process skill given to subject of the research after giving treatment in the form of learning process based on inquiry approach. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results showed average absorption. It can be concluded that the implementation of instructional media of gas kinetic theory in the form of experimental device based on inquiry approach can improve the learning result of students' process skill on the material of gas kinetic theory in SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru.Keywords : The Result of Student?s Process Skill, Learning Media, Inquiry Approach

Abstract

Decrease in purchasing decisions on a product may cause a decrease in the value of its sale. The same thing happened at Atala Art, a company engaged in furniture and creative crafts in Jepara, Central Java, is experiencing a decline in product sales in recent years. Strategic steps need to be taken to overcome this phenomenon.The research was conducted by using independent variables including product innovation, price perception and product quality; intervening variable that is product trust and dependent variable that is purchasing decision. The data were collected on the sample using the questionnaire method. Data were analyzed by chi-square test method, descriptive three-box method and multiple linear regression analysis.The results stated that respondents, representing most consumers have income of 0-5 million rupiahs, work as self-employed and civil servants with age range 31-40 years. Consumer valuation on product innovation and product trust have high score 80,00% and79,67% respectively compared to price perception (74,60%) and product quality (74,27%), purchase decision (74,27%) With the calculation of multiple linear regression, it can be concluded that product innovation, price perception and product quality have a significant influence on product trust, as well as product trust have a significant effect on purchasing decision.

Abstract

The purpose of this training activity is to train the elementary school teachers in Inuman Sub-District, Kuantan Singingi Regency to developing an integrated  instrument component (IIC) natural science based on nature around. Teachers are trained to operate the Integrated Instrument Components natural science elementary shool that has been developed. The target audience is elementary school teachers in Inuman SubDistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency and who attended this event came from public and private elementary school representatives with 29 participants from 12 schools. Method of activity is the presentation of materials, modeling, training and simulation /discussion. Evaluation carried out from the beginning of the activity, during the implementation and the end of activities with questionnaires, observations and interviews. Data were analyzed descriptively. The result of data analysis obtained by the average of the performance of 89% participants in very good category, so also the participant response about this service activity equal to 97,5% in very good category. The conclusion of the results of this training activities of elementary school teachers in the Inuman Sub-District, Kuantan Singingi Regency has the knowledge and able to implemeting in developing an integrated  instrument component simple natural science based on nature around for natural science learning in elementary school.

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this study is to find the result of student?s cognitive through the implementation of gas kinetic learning media based on inquiry approach of XI MIA 3 SMAN 4 Pekanbaru.This research form is pre experimental with oneshot case study methode. The data of this study is student?s cognitive score by post test. The analysis conducted on the student?s cognitive learning outcomes in the form of study absorpstion, learning efectivity and the percentage of student?s pass of each tested indicator. The result obtained from this study are, from 36 students, 3 student have a very good study absorption, 23 have a good study absorption, 8 have a well study absorption, 1 have a less good study absorption and 1 fail. The learning efectivity is on good category with percentage of 69,4%. The conclusion is physics learning with inquiry approach goes well.Keywords : Inquiry approach, cognitive study result

Abstract

Abstract:Psychomotor skills are skills needed to acquire, develop, and apply concepts, laws, and theories of science, both in the form ofmental skills, physical skills (manual) and social skills. This study aims to determine the increase in learning outcomes of students' psychomotor skills after the application of Discovery Learning on the material of the Static Fluda class XI IPA YLPI Pekanbaru. This type of research is a Pre-Experimental design with Intact Group Comparison. This research instrument uses psychomotor sheets by observing students doing practicum using psychomotor assessment sheets on students. Data was collected by providingpsychomotor skills tests to the subject. Data were analyzed descriptively to provide a description of the learning outcomes of students' psychomotor skills including student absorption and learning effectiveness on static fluid material. The results obtained are the average absorption of students that is 88.16% are in the very good category in the experimental class and the average absorption of students that is 73.71% are in the good category in the control class. Thus it can be concluded that the improvement of psychomotor skills through enhancement of psychomotor skills through the application of discovery learning is very effective in knowing the psychomotor skills of students of class XI IPA of YLPI Pekanbaru in static fluid.KeyWords:Discovery Learning Model, Learning Outcomes Of Psychomotor Skills, Static Fluid

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the increase in learning motivation of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru by applying learning based on Pictorial Riddle to light material and optical devices. The type of research used is pre-experiment with the research design is one group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were class VIIIHN students of SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru Academic Year 2018/2019 which amounted to 36 students. The research data is learning motivation data cosisting of pretest and posttest scores through the application of learning based on Pictorial Riddle. The instrument used to collect data in this study was the John Keller ARCS motivation questionnaire. Data were analyzed descriptively through the calculation of N-Gain using Hake?s motivation criteria and formulas. The results of the analysis of the data obtained are, the are changes in the average score of the initial motivation score. Obtained an increase in the average score of student learning motivation for all indicators with N-Gain of 0,54 moderate categories. So that it can be concluded that there is an increase in student learning motivation before and after applying learning based on Pictorial Riddle to light material and optical devices.Key Words: Pictorial Riddle, Learning Motivation, Light and Optical Devices.

Abstract

Penelitian kerapatan batuan telah dilakukan di Desa Dalaka Kecamatan Sindue Kabupaten Donggala dengan menggunakan metode seismik refraksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perlapisan batuan dan kerapatan batuan berdasarkan kecepatan gelombang seismik bawah permukaan. Penelitian dilakukan pada 3 lintasan dengan jumlah geophone sebanyak 12 buah, dengan spasi antar geophone 3 meter. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kecepatan rambat gelombang seismik dan kerapatan batuan bawah permukaan pada Lintasan-1 berturut-turut sebesar 390 ? 1,153 m/s dengan kerapatan batuan 1,8 gr/cm3 pada kedalaman 7 - 16 mdpl. Pada Lintasan2 diperoleh kecepatan rambat gelombang sebesar 544 ? 779 m/s dengan kerapatan batuan sebesar 1,6 gr/cm3 pada kedalaman 4 - 9 mdpl. Sedangkan, pada Lintasan-3 memiliki kecepatan gelombang seismik sebesar 416 ? 574 m/s dengan kerapatan batuan sebesar 1,5 gr/cm3 pada kedalaman 4 - 9 mdpl. Dari ketiga lintasan pengukuran data seismik tersebut terlihat bahwa Lintasan-1 yang memiliki kecepatan gelombang seismik paling besar. Dengan semakin bertambahnya kedalaman maka kecepatan gelombang seismik yang diperoleh akan semakin bertambah sehingga densitas yang diperoleh akan semakin besar.
