Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui seberapa besar minat masuk perguruan tinggi bagi siswa kelas XII program keahlian Teknik Mesin dan Teknik Otomotif di SMK Serang masuk tahun 2016. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknik Proportional Random Sampling sejumlah 165 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket  (kuesioner). Uji validitas instrument dilakukan dengan construct validity melalui experts judgment dengan metode factor analysis. Uji reliabititas menggunakan Alpha. Besarnya minat diuji dengan statistic regresi ganda dengan bantuan SPSS versi 21. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahawa minat masuk perguruan tinggi di Serang dengan rerata persentase 71.76%. Minat tersebut dipengaruhi oleh faktor dalam diri sendiri, faktor lingkungan keluarga, dan faktor lingkungan sekolah dengan koefisien regresi masing-masing sebesar 0.199; 0.190; dan 0.090. Faktor diri sendiri dan lingkungan keluarga secara bersama-sama mempengaruhi minat masuk perguruan tinggi sebesar 37,6%. Kata kunci: Minat, Perguruan Tinggi, Diri Sendiri, Sekolah, dan Keluarga

Abstract

Problem Based Learning (PBL) is a learning method considered to be capable of changing the students? perception in facing the challenges of the 21st century. This study was aimed to improve soft skills in the form of critical thinking, motivation, and group dynamics and hard skills in the form of psychomotor ability by applying PBL. This study was designed with an action research design. The research subjects were 30 students at the age of 19 to 22 years old. Data were collected with performance appraisal, observation sheet and questionnaires. The results indicated that (1) the students? critical thinking works effectively during problem identification and problem hypothesis, (2) increasing motivational ability indicated by time discipline, and (3) improved group dynamics skills during group discussions and groups activities. The results for psychomotor ability showed an increase of 16.6 or 17%. This confirmed that PBL improved the students? soft skills and hard skills reflected in positive and effective group activities.

Abstract

Now days, the integration of technology in the concept of learning is the trend in global education. The conceptual framework model is a general reference, and the only concept is TPACK. However, vocational education has knowledge of specific content, so adjusting conceptual models in professional learning is important to learn and offer. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the concept of TPACK into the concept of vocational education to improve the professionalism of vocational teachers in content knowledge. The author discusses the knowledge structure of vocational fields that are built based on work, content, technology, and the suitability of the learning approach. Based on the results of the article found a new construction in building knowledge in the field of vocational education with special expertise characteristics and shifting pedagogical concepts towards andragogy in learning concept. The results of the analysis recommend the TPACK concept transformed into the TAWOCK concept in vocational learning.

Abstract

Pendidikan Teknik Mesin-Untirta melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat sebagai perwujudan kompetensi yang diperoleh pada mata kuliah Teknik Sepeda Motor dan Motor Kecil. Kompetensi ini membekali peserta didik agar mampu melaksanakan servis pada small engine atau kendaraan roda dua. Sebagai bentuk integrasi pengabdian, sejumlah mahasiswa dalam pengawasan dosen menyelenggarakan kegiatan tune-up motorcycle 4th. Sebanyak 45 kendaraan dalam waktu 2 hari berhasil diselesaikan. Tujuan pengabdian yaitu memberikan layanan jasa kepada masyarakat dan meningkatkan ketrampilan bagi mahasiswa. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari analisis situasi, jasa pelayanan (sikap, sistem, prosedur dan metode kerja, pengorganisasian tugas dan layanan), dan evaluasi kegiatan dan hasil. Hasil layanan tune-up motorcycle yaitu: (1) pelaksanaan pengabdian sesuai prosedur dengan kategori meningkat, (2) kesadaran masyarakat meningkat terutama pada tindakan awal berupa pemeriksaan tekanan ban, nyala lampu, dan fungsi rem, (3) pemahaman edukasi sebelum tindakan 22% melakukan perawatan dengan adanya edukasi 56% memahami; dan (4) pada pekerjaan tune-up total, sistem kemudi, rem dan penggantian oli memerlukan pengauatan khusus pada pengabdian selanjutnya. Pengabdian terintegrasi pendidikan merupakan bentuk perpaduan tridharma yang dapat diterapkan pada kegiatan lainnya.

Abstract

BNSP technical competence gets high legality on the side of the industry, while not all test participants can acquire it. Until now, studies that discuss relevant competency test models on automotive engine technology are still limited, not specific or even non-existent. The objective of this research is to produce a Competency Test Model for Engine Tune Up-System Injection and determine the characteristics after the model is applied. The subject of development consists of assesses (vocational education graduates, workers and educators), experts, and assessors from related Professional Certification Institutions (LSP). Instrument validation was conducted through expert judgment and feasibility trials. Reliability tests were performed using alpha and interrater coefficient analysis. The results of the test analysis include (1) competency test model assessment using the CBA approach; (2) competency dimension elements in instruments development are in the form of TS, TMS, CMS, EMS, and JRES; and (3) the characteristics of competency assessment include equipment verification of adequacy, avoiding impartiality, meeting requirements, transparent and accounTable, and able to produce recommendations as "competent" and "non-competent". The obtained findings showed that the developed competency test model could be used as a reference for use in vocational education.

Abstract

Abstrak?Produk yang sudah tersertifikasi halal dapat beredar di berbagai wilayah di Indonesia. Saat ini, proses pengajuan sertifikasi halal, dilayani di LPPOM MUI. Bahan baku yang digunakan oleh produsen menjadi bagian dari keharusan untuk didaftarkan dalam borang matrix bahan baku tanpa terkecuali. Bidang audit mengusulkan kepada komisi fatwa berupa sekumpulan hasil borang audit yang telah lolos dalam rapat post audit. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat tingkat penggunaan bahan tersertifikasi halal dan asal produk dari perusahaan yang mengajukan sertifikasi halal di Banten selama tahun 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka terhadap bahan dari tiap produsen yang diusulkan oleh bidang audit LPPOM MUI Banten kepada komisi Fatwa MUI di tahun 2017. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa? asal sertifikasi halal? yang digunakan oleh sebagian besar produsen di Provinsi Banten secara berturut-turut berasal dari LPPOM Pusat 75,78%; LPPOM Banten 7,08%; LPPOM Jawa Barat 5,21%; LPPOM Jawa Timur 4,70%; LPPOM DKI 2,22%. Produsen di Banten, sebagian besar menggunakan kelompok Roti dan Kue (bakery) 37,97%; kelompok makanan ringan (snack) 17,62%; kelompok daging dan produk daging olahan 11,56%; kelompok restorant 8,92% dan kelompok katering 6,57%. Semakin tinggi rangking kelompok produk yang digunakan oleh produsen, maka semakin tinggi frekuensi produk ditemukan oleh auditor LPPOM MUI Banten..?Kata kunci: sertifikasi halal, bisang audit, komisi fatwa, LPPOM, MUI

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah multimedia pembelajaran servis sepeda motor yang telah dibuat dan dikembangkan sudah layak atau efektif berdasarkan karakteristik media pembelajaran yang baik. Pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran menggunakan model ADDIE yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluate. Validasi kelayakan media menggunakan validasi ahli dan validasi pengguna. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket atau kuesioner. Analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif berdasarkan perolehan persentase. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) media pembelajaran yang baik harus memenuhi karakteristik media berupa kriteria pendidikan, tampilan program dan kualitas teknis dan (2) hasil penelitian berdasarkan kriteria pendidikan, tampilan program dan kualitas teknis masing-masing diperoleh rerata secara keseluruhan sebagai berikut 89,99%; 83,34% dan 83,02%. Hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa multimedia pembelajaran yang telah dibuat dan dikembangkan telah memenuhi karakteristik media pembelajaran yang baik dengan kategori “sangat baik”.

Abstract

Learning process at SMK Ma’arif 2 Sleman still passive and uncontrolled, this condition affects to the student learning outcomes. The role of the teacher in the learning process needs to be improved with the right methods to make students more active and encourage student solve the problems. Problem Based Learning (PBL) is one of learning method which the characteristics capable of demanding learners actively and directly involved in the learning. The Aim of this study is want to know affect PBL method can increase the activity and psychomotor learning outcomes of students. The subjects were students of class XI SMK Ma’arif 2014/2015 academic year. Collecting data used in this research is qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed an increase in activity of learners by 12.98% and psychomotor learning outcomes by implementing PBL increased 9.01%. The conclution using PBL method was known that activities of learners increase practical subject.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa pada kompetensi dasar sistem pengapian konvensional dalam mengimplementasikan metode problembased learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Data dianalisa secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagai berikut: (1) keaktifan siswa meningkat sebesar 11,20%; (2) keaktifan siswa kategori sangat tinggi sebanyak 36 siswa dan kategori tinggi sebanyak 3 siswa; (3) hasil belajar siswa aspek kognitif, psikomotor, dan afektif mengalami peningkatan masing-masing sebesar 5,32%, 5,03%, dan 2,05%; dan (4) hasil belajar siswa aspek kognitif, psikomotor dan afektif yang mencapai kompetensi minimal masingmasing sebanyak 36 siswa (92,31%), 36 siswa (92,31%), dan 38 siswa (97,40%) dari 39 jumlah siswa melalui penerapan problem-based learning. This study used a classroom action research which was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisted of four phases: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data were analyzed descriptively. The study results show that: (1) the learning activities increase as much as 11,20%, (2) the category of learning activities is very high for 36 students and high for 3 students, (3) the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective aspects in learning outcomes of students increasing which each part is 5,32%, 5,03%, and 2,05%, (4) the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective aspects in the learning outcomes reach minimum value criteria which each part is 36 students (92,31%), 36 students (92,31%), and 38 students (97,40%) from 39 students with the implementation of problem-based learning

Abstract

This development research aims to describe the working concept of EMC with VPE valuation method. The EMC quality is based on following aspects: (1) valid according to experts; (2) practical according to practitioners; and (e) effective based on students ability test. The developed cycles and procedures refer to the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). Data was collected using rating scale sheet (1-5) and percentage of learning using EMC outcomes. The research results show that the valid and practical aspects of the category are valid and practical enough with an average score of 3.68 (73.6%) and 3.75 (75.0%) respectively. While the results of the effective test obtained an average score of 3.74 (74.8%) and the competence test results is 80.51%. The advantages of EMC are attractive design, practical size, and ease of use (user-friendly). Students recommend that they enjoy learning with EMC and it supports learning about chassis.
