Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze the Improvement Process in the Elderly Health Service at the KlampisNgasem Health Center in Surabaya City using the Donabedian Theory. The research approach used is Descriptive. With the Qualitative method, as well as data collection techniques through Observation and Interview to elderly patients directly to get an idea of how the quality of health services at the KlampisNgasem Health Center in Surabaya, especially for the care of elderly patients.The results of the research conducted by the researchers can be concluded that the research on the Improvement Process of Elderly Health Services at the KlampisNgasem Health Center in Surabaya City using the Donabedian Theory through three approaches, namely the structural approach (input), the process approach, the outcome approach (output ) found two indicator that become service priority that is Service Statement or statement of ability and obligation of organizer to perform service in accordance with service standard and Service Time that is the time period needed to finish all service process from each service type. Keywords:Health Service, Donabedian Theory, Continuous Improvement Process

Abstract

This classroom action research is done based on the condition in the social science subject, specifically at class eight D of State Junior Islamic School 1 of  South Banjarmasin. It showed that the students? had low achievement and did not reach the minimum completeness of study determined by the school, namely 75. This study is used action research method to increase the students? achievement. It is expected that students no longer feel bored in learning social science subject and more active in discussion; therefore, the teacher is not the only source for learning. In this classroom action research, the researcher used two cycles. The first cycle consisted of two meetings and second cycle done in only one meeting. The data collection used were observation sheet for both teacher and students, written test, and questionnaire for students only. Based on the findings and discussion, it can be concluded that: (1) the students? activities  by using Jigsaw model have increased; (2) the students learning outcomes have also increased and they were above the completeness of classical learning, namely 94,8%; (3) the students? respond toward the use of Jigsaw  showed that the students were interested in learning by Jigsaw model.  In conclusion, it is expected  that the teachers apply Jigsaw as one of alternatives in teaching social science subject, for the students find this model attractive as well as interesting one; therefore, they do not feel bored and can increase their learning outcomes.Keywords: Activity, Learning Outcome, Social Science Subject, Jigsaw Model

Abstract

Dewasa ini banyak kita dapati pemakaian kata/unsur kata tradisional yang bermunculan di kalangan resmi. Pemakaian tersebut ada yang secara wajar dan ada pula yang rasa-rasanya kurang pada tempatnya, karena tampaknya terbawa oleh kebiasaan pribadi pemakaiannya. Penggunaan secara wajar terlihat jelas pada proses penyerapan kata-kata yang rupa-rupanya dapat menjadi sinonim terhadap kata-kata yang sudah ada dalam perbendaharaan bahasa Indonesia, misalnya kata kata: graha, kartika, pandega, pataka, prakarsa, swasembada, tunarungu, temu wicara, wisma dan sebagainya; ataupun sinonim untuk kata-kata serapan dari bahasa asing yang sudah mendarah daging, umpamanya: dampak untuk impact daur untuk cyclus kendala untuk constrain kisi-kisi untuk matrix lentur untuk flexible makalah untuk paper ranah untuk domain dan sebagainya. Sedangkan penggunaan kata/unsur kata lama secara kurang (tidak) pada tempatnya akan diuraikan pada pembicaraan lebih lanjut.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out whether there is any effect and how much the significance level of effect of The Power of Two models to the cognitive learning achievement of students on social studies at the VIII B class of SMP Sejahtera Bandar Lampung in academic year 2015/2016. This study used experiment research method with the type of one group pretest posttest design. Based on the analysis of quantitative data using the t test, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect and most of the effect from model of The Power of Two that is 0.61 when incorporated into the interpretation of significant correlations were high.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh dan seberapa besar taraf signifikansi pengaruh model The Power of Two terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada pelajaran IPS kelas VIIIB SMP Sejahtera Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Eksperimen dengan tipe One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Berdasarkan analisis data secara kuantitatif dengan menggunakan uji t dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dan Besarnya pengaruh yang diberikan model The Power of Two  sebesar 0,61 yang jika dimasukkan kedalam interpretasi korelasi termasuk kategori tinggi signifikan.Kata kunci: hasil belajar kognitif, model pembelajaran, the power of two

Abstract

Organizational capacity assessment of managing ecotourism based on community is important to do on the organization in determining the capacity enhancement plan, based on a needs assessment of self. Assessment of the capacity of the organization can monitor the effectiveness of previous actions, evaluate progress in increasing capacity and identify areas within the organization managers who need reinforcement. This research aims to examine and assess the conditions existing organizational capacity managing of ecotourism based on community through organizational capacity assessment on Mangrove Ecotourism Wonorejo Rungkut and Wisata Anyar Mangrove Gunung Anyar in Surabaya. The result of the organizational capacity assessment. Methods in this study is elaborate the assessment capacity of UNDP (2008) and Mwiya Mundia (2009). Indicators of governance which is a combined value at the location of the study there is Incipient level. This is different on the indicators, indicators of management practices and service delivery indicators of External Relations on the level of Emerging. On human resources indicators and indicators of sustainability there is a Mature level.
