Abstract

CV. Titian Mandiri is an in-package drinking water manufacturer with brand name “Ciryo” locating in Karanganyar. The presence of problem indication results in inefficiency of proceeding business process, particularly in business process flow of production, warehouse, shipment, marketing, and financial divisions. This makes an analysis and evaluation on business process performance and integrated business process redesign conducted so that the company performance will be optimum. This study began with mapping business process in the form of flow diagram for identifying the company’s business activities. Then performance measurement was conducted based on model developed by Beamon (1999). This model analyzes three measurement variables: resource, process and output for finding out the factors resulting in inefficiency of the business process. Performance improvement was conducted by redesigning the business process procedure based on concept Business Process Reengineering. Basic steps of BPR involves rethink, redesign and retool. Standardization of the resulting business process based on cross-divisional activities interrelationship involves marketing, production, logistic, and financial modules. Based on redesign as a proposal for dealing with performance inhibition, it is used an integrated business process design for each module developed.

Abstract

In general, small-scale vegetable farmers experience problems in improving the safety and quality of vegetables for supplying high-class consumers in modern retailers. Farmer Group and/or Cooperative (FGC) should be able to assist its members to meet the relevant provisions of modern retail on product specifications, delivery terms, and internal business requirements. This study proposed an agri-food supply chain (ASC) model that involves the corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities to enhance the business skills of the FGC as supplier of modern retailer. Multi-objective optimization programming is developed to determine the amount and timing of supply, level of farmers training skills, quality improvement target, and the CSR total cost. The results show that the proposed model can be used to determine the priority of programs in order to empower farmers groups as modern retail suppliers.

Abstract

RSUD DR Moewardi is a state hospital of central Java Province in Surakarta which gives health service. One of the important facilities in this hospital is the pharmacy division. Some of its duties are to order, to plan, and to control drugs inventory. There are 1200 types of drugs that divided into emergency drug and non emergency drug. The Emergency Drugs (ED) function is as life saving that divided into 1 st priority, 2 nd priority and 3 rd priority ED. The 1 st priority ED are the 57 drugs that have highest management level and don’t have an emptiness tolerance. In the drug inventory control, the hospital hasn’t applied a certain drugs inventory control system. The ordering system is only based on the planning without considering the onhand status. This condition causes an overstock or even a stock out. Beside that, the drugs have an expired date. When it almost expired in 3 months later, it must be exchanged to PBF. Sometimes the tardiness happens in the hospital. Therefore it needs the Decision Support System(DSS) aim to give an early warning to exchange the drugs that are almost expired in 3 months later and also to determine the order quantity and period. First phase is designing of model base using hybrid inventory control system that combined reorder point (ROP) and periodic review system. The second phase is designing of data base using normalization and entity relationship diagram. The last phase is designing of user interface covering input and output process. From examination result, this DSS can determine the order quantity and period and also give an early warning to exchange the drugs that are almost expired in 3 months later.

Abstract

Vehicle Routing Problem merupakan permasalahan yang berhubungan dengan penentuan rute distribusi optimal dengan melibatkan beberapa kendala untuk melayani sejumlah agen sesuai permintaan tiap agen. Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem merupakan salah satu variasi Vehicle Routing Poblem dengan kendala kapasitas kendaraan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini berua pembentukan model Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem pada permasalahan rute distribusi harian Solopos wilayah Kartasura-Klaten dengan algoritma sweep. Algoritma sweep terdiri dari dua tahap, yaitu clustering agen dan pembentukan rute untuk tiap agen yang telah dicluster dengan metode Nearest Neighbour. Maka didapatkan hasil berdasarkan perhitungan yang dilakukan diperoleh dua rute sesuai dengan cluster yang menempuh waktu total 5 jam 55 menit sesuai dengan kebijakan time windows yang diterapkan harian Solopos.

Abstract

Compilation of Daftar Urut Kepangkatan (DUK) is one of the routine duty in human resource unit of Sebelas Maret University (UNS). Variable which must be paid attention in compilation of DUK are position, year of service, occupation practice, education and age. The change in structural PNS is very dynamic, so that DUK’s renewal done every months. Existence of some variable which must be paid attention in compilation of DUK and also the change in structural PNS UNS, hence needed of integrated information system so that DUK is up to date and valid. One of the information system development method by paying attention and desire requirement of consumer is Rapid Application Development (RAD). RAD method use approach of prototyping. Using this method, design of information system will be focused at desire requirement of human resource unit UNS.

Abstract

Operasi pasar murah minyak goreng curah dimaksudkan untuk menstabilkan harga dan membantu menjaga ketersediaannya di masyarakat. Akan tetapi, terkadang penentuan jumlah minyak goreng curah yang dijual di operasi pasar juga belum direncanakan sehingga operasi pasar tidak sesuai sasaran. Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah menentukan lokasi operasi pasar yang strategis atau merupakan titik terdekat dari lima kecamatan dan kuantitas minyak goreng yang dibutuhkan untuk tercapainya operasi pasar dengan harga yang diinginkan dan mencapai stabilisasi harga. Metode yang digunakan untuk menentukan lokasi operasi pasar adalah metode pusat gravitasi satu titik dan dua titik. Sedangkan untuk penentuan kuantitas minyak goreng yang dibutuhkan untuk operasi pasar ditentukan berdasarkan hukum keseimbangan pasar. Dengan pengkombinasian metode pusat gravitasi dan teori keseimbangan pasar dapat ditentukan lokasi dan kuantitas yang tepat untuk operasi pasar minyak goreng curah di Kota Surakarta. Implikasi manajerial dari model yang telah disusun dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pertimbangan bagi Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan serta Tim Pengendali Inflasi Daerah (TPID) dalam menentukan lokasi dan kuantitas minyak goreng yang dibutuhkan untuk operasi pasar.Kata kunci : Hukum Keseimbangan Pasar, Metode Pusat Gravitasi, Minyak Goreng Curah, Operasi Pasar, Stabilisasi Harga

Abstract

PPSDM Migas is a company engaged in oil and gas. One factor that must be considered by the company is the distribution of workload to employees so that the effectiveness and efficiency of employees can be reached. The fact in the field, PPSDM Migas has just transferred its employees to PPSDM Jakarta, so there is a discrepancy between workload and number of employees. To overcome the problem of measuring workloads in PPSDM  Migas, this study uses a task per task approach.  This method will provide information about the allocation of employee human resources to complete the existing workload optimally. Based on the results of the workload measurement on PPSDM  Migas using the task per task approach it can be concluded that from the two positions as a pilot project there was one position which resulted in a mismatch between the workload and the number of office holders, namely 4 Tank employees and  Distribution  but  from  the calculation  results  it  takes  7  employees.  The position of Executor of Distillation Operations has the number of employees as many as 2 employees and from the results of the calculation required 2  employees, this shows the suitability between the number of employees and the workload on the position.  Based on the results of calculations from both positions, the position of Implementing Distillation Operations is included in the category of sufficient office efficiency. Whereas in the position of Implementing Tank and Distribution Installation get the medium category.

Abstract

In this paper, we concerned about improving inefficiences of the business processes at store room areagrocery products in a grocery company. Due to inefficiencies of the inventory management, it is necessary to improve them related with providing good information and data management. The main problem is miss information related with early warning system of lifetime products. They often have unsold inventory grocery products as impact of expired date. This journal analyzes a system to find out the need for system, then designs the system based on the system requirement obtained from the analysis. The information system of store room area grocery product is designed by using an object-oriented approach and UML modeling language to identify the actor, to make the system use case, to model the business process using the activity chart, to make interaction scheme using sequence diagram and to identify class. In the designing stage, this database and interface design is made. After database and interface design, the next stage is to make the program code by considering the use case and interaction diagrams that are made previously in modeling the object-oriented system. The result of this research consists of input constituting login form, product, suppliers, unit, category, action, location, and personnel data, addition, withdrawal, and action transactions, searching for product data, personnel data, location data and report input. Meanwhile the output constitutes withdrawal list, increment, product early earning reports approaching the expired date, product list, location list, personnel list, stock op name checklist, and the product master label. The outputs of the information system are reports and documents in monitor screen view and in printing. The validation showed that the information system designed can support the early warning system of expired date of grocery products in store room area.

Abstract

SBPPK (sistem berbasis pengetahuan untuk pengendalian kualitas) is a knowledge based system which using human knowlwdge that being planted in computer to help solving problem that needs special skill or expertise. This system can be used by anyone whose not an expert to increase their skill in specivic domain problem solving.SBPPK is designed by integrating quality control function that consist of X-R chart, NP chart, process capability, pareto diagram and also the ability to analyze the output. By using this system manufacturing statistical quality control application will take shorter time.
