Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas fisik dan kandungan nutrisi pelet lumpur sawit kering dan daun pakis merah untuk pakan kelinci. Variabel yang diamati adalah kualitas fisik yaitu berat jenis bahan pakan pelet, kerapatan bahan, kerapatan pemadatan tumpukan dan kerapatan pelet serts uji kualitas kimiawi pelet yaitu kandungan protein kasar, lemak kasar, serak kasar dan energi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan lumpur sawit kering dan daun pakis merah berpengaruh nyata terhadap berat jenis bahan pakan dengan nilai 0,52g/cm3-0,77g/cm3, kerapatan bahan 0,18g/cm3-0,21g/cm3, kerapatan pemadatan tumpukan 0,20g/cm3-0,24g/cm3, protein kasar 10,54% -13,55% lemak kasar 3,88% -6,15% dan serat kasar 5,80%-7,86%. Penggunaan lumpur sawit kering dan daun pakis merah berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap kerapatan pelet dengan nilai 0,85g/cm3-1,01g/cm3 dan energi 369,80 kalori - 376,95 kalori. Berdasarkan hasil uji kimiawi, penggunaan lumpur sawit kering dan daun pakis merah menjadi pelet dapat diberikan pada kelinci dewasa.  Kata kunci :  Daun pakis merah, kimiawi pelet, kualitas fisik pelet dan lumpur sawit kering.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pakan konsentrat yang mengandung tepung daun murbei terhadap performa sapi peranakan ongole. Percobaan ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok, dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 kelompok. Perlakuan terdiri dari P1 (Pakan hijauan berupa rumput lapang dan pakan konsentrat berupa murbei dan konsentrat komplit), P2 (Pakan hijauan berupa rumput lapang dan pakan konsentrat berupa murbei dan konsentrat jagung), P3 Pakan hijauan berupa rumput lapang dan pakan konsentrat berupa murbei dan konsentrat dedak padi, P4 (Pakan hijauan berupa rumput lapang dan pakan konsentrat berupa murbei dan konsentrat onggok). Parameter yang diukur adalah konsumsi pakan, pertambahan bobot badan harian, efisiensi pakan, Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC), dan R-C rasio. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tepung daun murbei pada konsentrat yang berbeda tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata (P 0,05) terhadap pertambahan bobot badan harian, konsumsi pakan, efisiensi pakan, Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC), dan R-C rasio. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa konsentrat yang mengandung tepung daun murbei dapat dikombinasikan dengan konsentrat tunggal seperti jagung, onggok atau konsentrat komplit.  (Performance of local cattle (Peranakan Ongole-PO) feed concentrates containing mulberry leave meal) ABSTRACT. The research has been conducted to study the ability of mulberry leaves that mixed in concentrates feed on the performance of Local cattle. A randomized block design, with 4 treatments and 4 blocks applied. The treatments consisted of 4 different mix of feed which were P1 (native grass and concentrate feed in the form of mulberry leaves and concentrate complete), P2 (native grass and concentrate feed in the form of mulberry leaves meal and corn concentrate), P3 (native grass and concentrate feed in the form of mulberry leaves meal and rice bran concentrate), P4 (native grass and concentrate feed in the form of mulberry leaves meal and tapioca waste concentrate). Parameters measured were feed consumption, daily body weight gain, feed efficiency, Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC), revenue cost ratio. The results showed that the mulberry leaves meal in different concentrate not significantly (P 0,05) affect daily body weight gain, feed consumption, feed efficiency and Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC), and revenue cost Ratio. It is concluded that based on the nutrient content, mulberry leaves meal concentrate can be combined with a single ingredient of concentrate feed such as corn, cassava waste meal or complete concentrate.

Abstract

Feed is one of the most important factors for the success of a livestock business.Rabbit?s growth can be optimal when the amount as well as the quality of the feed, and the nutrient is fulfilled decently. This study aims to determine the nutritional quality of rabbit feed that is in the form of pelet combined with musa paradisiacal formatypica and carica papaya. This study had been conducted for 3 months (March - June 2018) at the laboratory of Teknologi Hasil Pertaniandan Kesuburan Tanah, agriculture department, Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak. This study used randomized block design which are 5treatments and 5 repetitions; P1 (24% of Banana peel+ 0 % Papay leaves), P2 (18% Banana peel + 6 Papay leaves), P3 (12% Banana peel + 12 Papay leaves), P4 (6% Banana peel + 18% Papay leaves) and P5 (0% Banana peel + 24% Papay leaves). The analysis showsthat the treatment has significant effect (P<0,05) on moisture, ash, crude fat, crude protein, crude fibre and carbohydrates. The results of this study concluded that the value of the nutritional content in accordance with the needs of rabbits was obtained in treatment 4, namely 6% kepok banana peel and 18% papaya leaves. Based on the nutritional content produced, the feed can be given to adult rabbits.Keywords: Banana Peel, Papay Leaves, Proximate Analysis, Pellets

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan air jeruk sambal (Citrus microcarpa) pada air minum terhadap penurunan kadar lemak dan taraf lemak daging broiler. Materi yang digunakan adalah ayam umur 1 hari (DOC) strain CP 707 sebanyak 80 ekor yang ditempatkan dalam kandang berukuran (5,5 × 2,5 × 2 m) yang disekat menjadi 20 unit dengan setiap unit percobaan di isi 4 ekor broiler. Pakan yang digunakan adalah pakan komersial (BR10, BR11 dan BR12). Metode yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL), dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan dengan taraf  perlakuan P0  (0% jeruk sambal per 1 L air ), P1 (0,4% jeruk sambal per 1 L air), P2 (0,8% jeruk sambal per 1 L air) dan P3 (1,2% jeruk sambal per 1 L air). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam (ANOVA)  pada taraf  5% dilanjutkan dengan uji beda nyata jujur (BNJ). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan dapat meningkatkan persentase bobot karkas, penurunan persentase lemak abdominal dan persentase lemak daging broiler. Kesimpulan penambahan air jeruk sambal pada air minum dapat menurunkan lemak daging broiler dengan taraf  pemberian terbaik 0,8%.(The effect of native orange water (Citrus microcarpa) in drink water on broiler meat fat)ABSTRAK. This research aim to determine the effect of native orange (Citrus microcarpa) to drink water on percentage meat fat broiler and the best level for degrade meat fat. The used materials were day old chick (DOC) strain CP707 as many as 80 birds, were placed in cages with size of (5,5 ×2,5×2 m) is partitioned into 20 units an each unit in the experiment with the contents of 4 chickens. Commercial feed was  used, they were  (BR10, BR11 and BR12). Completely randomized design (CRD) was applied, with 4 treatment and 5 replications. The  level of treatments were  P0  (0% native orange for 1 L water), P1 (0,4 native orange for 1 L water), P2 (0,8% native oramge for 1 L water) and P3 (1,2% native orange for 1 L water). Data were analyzed using analysis of variance at level 5% and followed by honesty significant different (HSD).The result showed that there were increasing  percentage of carcass,  abdominal fat and meat fat. As a conclusion,  increment native orange to drink water can degrade broiler meat fat with the best level  at  0,8%.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh substitusi tepung kelapa (CM) dengan fermentasi padat (FS) dalam ransum terhadap kinerja kelinci jantan lokal. Penelitian ini dilakukan di peternakan percontohan Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Tanjungpura dan Laboratorium Nutrisi Ternak, Dinas Peternakan dan Kesehatan Hewan Pemerintah Kalimantan Barat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 8 minggu menggunakan 16 kelinci. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan empat perlakuan (P0, P1, P2, P3), dan empat ulangan dan masing - masing berisi satu kelinci jantan lokal. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah substitusi CM dengan FS, yaitu: P0 = 60% Field Grass (FG) + konsentrat 40% (15% CM + 0% FS); P1 = 60% konsentrat FG + 40% (FS 10% + 5% FS); P2 = 60% konsentrat FG + 40% (5% CM + 10% FS) dan konsentrat P3 = 60% FG + 40% (FS 0% + 15% FS). Parameter yang diambil adalah kenaikan harian rata-rata, konsumsi pakan, konversi pakan dan biaya pakan per perolehan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah konsumsi pakan 36,64 - 42,36 g / hari, rata - rata kenaikan harian 6,87 - 7,31 g / hari, kecernaan bahan kering 49,80 - 53,31%, dan kecernaan bahan organik 42,66 - 49,35%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa substitusi tepung kelapa dengan FS sampai 100% (15% dari total ransum) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja kelinci jantan lokal, namun sebesar 15% dari total ransum substitusi (P3) dapat menekan biaya makan per perolehan nilai.

Abstract

This study aims to Determine the success rate of the Artificial Insemination in North Kayong Regency of West Kalimantan Province roomates has been done by IB officers. Artificial insemination is the process of introduction or delivery of cement into the genitals of female cows by means of made devices. North Kayong districts Regency is one of the which is administratively established Republic of Indonesia based on Law no. 6 of 2007 is an area that is developing cattle. The location that Became the focus of the evaluation of the success of Artificial Insemination is in three districts of Maya Island district, Sukadana and Seponti. Data used in this research is secondary Data Obtained from inseminator. The parameters used in this evaluation are the Non Return Rate (NRR), Service per Conception (S / C) and Calving Rate (CvR). The results Showed that the average of the three sub-districts in North Kayong district was for the highest 90% NRR in Sukadana district and the Lowest score of 67% in the Mayan Island district. S / C Obtained the highest number of 3.4 in Maya Island district and the Lowest S / C number district of Seponti 1.8. The highest score was 92% CvR in Sukadana district and the cancel CvR score was 64% in the Mayan Island district. The Conclusions Obtained based on the value of NRR, S / C, and CvR on artificial insemination evaluation with the best artificial insemination implementation are Sukadana district, followed by district of Seponti and last is Maya Island district.

Abstract

The  research was conducted to study the ability of mulberry leave meal addition concentrates on the digestibility  nutrient  of Ongole Grade. This experiment used a randomized block design, with 4 treatments and 4 blocks. Treatments consisted of P1 (native grass and concentrate feed in the form of mulberry leaves meal and concentrate complete), P2 (native grass and concentrate feed in the form of mulberry leaves meal and corn concentrate), P3 (native grass and concentrate feed in the form of mulberry leaves meal and rice bran concentrate), P4 (native grass and concentrate feed in the form of mulberry leaves meal and concentrate tapioca waste). The experiment was conducted for 4 months with the adaptation periods for 2 weeks. Parameters measured were digestibility of dry matter (KCBK) and organic matter (KCBO), . The results showed that the mulberry leave meal addition on different concentrate did  significantly (P<0,05) on digestibility of dry matter (KCBK) and organic matter (KCBO). It is concluded that based on the nutrient digestibility, mulberry leave meal concentrate can be combined with a single concentrate such as corn, cassava waste meal or complete concentrate. Based  on  the  agricultural  production,  Indonesia  has  very  high  potential  to  increase  mulberry production  through  the implementation of adapted and liable technology. The  research was conducted to study the ability of mulberry leave meal addition concentrates on the performance of Ongole Grade. Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat desa Ampera Raya kecamatan Sungai Raya melalui kegiatan ternak kelinci adalah peningkatan kemampuan manajemen budidaya ternak kelinci secara intensif dan produktivitas petani ternak kelinci melalui teknologi pembuatan pellet pakan kelinci. Kegiatan PKM ini bekerja sama dengan mitra 2 kelompok tani ternak yaitu kelompok tani Master dan kelompok ternak Armada. Permasalahan mitra kelompok ternak Armada adalah budidaya masih ekstensif dan mitra Kelompok tani Armada adalah harga pakan kelinci komersial yang mahal. Metode pendekatan meliputi: Penyuluhan tentang pentingnya budidaya kelinci dalam pemeliharaan ternak khususnya pemeliharaan anakan untuk meningkatkan produksi karena induk kelinci memiliki sifat memelihara dan mengasuh anak yang lemah, menyebabkan banyak kematian pada anak kelinci dan pentingnya pengadaan bibit dan pakan secara mandiri, sehingga akhirnya akan dapat meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat kelompok tani ternak. Pelatihan dan Pendampingan mitra tentang teknologi perkandangan baterai dan pembuatan pakan kelinci berbasis limbah sagu. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat, melalui manajemen budidaya peternakan kelinci pengunaan kandang baterai dapat menurunkan kematian sebesar 50% dan penggunaan mesin pellet dapat meningkatkan performa produksi dengan pertambahan bobot badan yang lebih baik yaitu meningkat 20%.
