Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to calculate the binding energy and disintegration energy with the binding energy liquid drop model approach. This research is modeling research. The steps: 1) prepare supporting materials for research on stability and elements in the radioactive process; 2) reviewing materials that have been obtained previously; 3) do calculation simulation; 4) analyze and discuss the results of calculations; 5) conclude the results of the study. The calculation results show that the element  has the largest binding energy of 1805,1 MeV and has the smallest binding energy per nucleon that is equal to 7,584 MeV, while the resulting child nuclide  has the smallest binding energy of 1612,2747 MeV and has the largest binding energy per nucleon of 7,8266 MeV, so that the binding energy has a decreased graph while the binding energy per nucleon has a rising graph. The biggest disintegration energy in the uranium series decay process occurs at decay of alpha  to be  which is equal to 5,1037 MeV while the smallest disintegration energy occurs at beta decay becomes   which is equal to -0,2639 MeV. Key word: Binding energy, disintegration energy,liquid drop model.

Abstract

Abstract   Local Wisdom-based module "Coffee Bean Processing" is a form of a fully packaged and systematic teaching material that contains the processing of coffee beans that are associated with temperature and heat material.This type of research is R&D (research and development) development research.The purpose of the study was to analyse the validity and effectiveness of the local wisdom-based module "coffee beans Processing".Module validation consists of a duat stage that is expert validation and user validation.The validation result of the local wisdom based module is 3.58 and the user validation result of 3.78 with the category is very valid.The effectiveness of modules is calculated from cognitive learning outcomes and student learning activities.If the review of the N-gain score, the effective value of the local wisdom-based "coffee beans processing" effectiveness rate is 0.70 and belongs to the high category. Abstract

There same to purpose of this study was to determine whether there is influence of cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) is integrated with a media monopoly games Problem Solving approach to learning outcomes, why activities and why student responses. This research was conducted in SMAN Arjasa in August 2015. The samples used in this study is the cluster random sampling method . Before determining the sample, homogeneity test performed by ANOVA (analysis of variance) to determine whether all classes have the ability homoge. Learning outcomes measured using post test made by researchers. Results of t-test (independent sample test) showed no significant effect anatara NHT cooperative model to the learning outcomes of students with significant value 0.000. Activity student by using NHT as very active and showed a positive response. Results showed type of cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) is integrated with a media monopoly games Problem Solving approach has a significant impact on learning outcomes, activities and student responses.

Abstract

The reseach focuses on the implementation of Problem Based Instruction model with the demonstration method. The purposes of this research are to study the influence of the Models to student’s physics achievement of affective, kognitif, psycomotoric and student’s physics achievement retention. The kind of this research is experiment by modified post-test only control group design. Population of this research is X MIA Senior High School Arjasa Jember. Techniques to the collection data are observation, documentation, tests and interviews. Technique to analysis data was independent sample t-test with SPSS 16. The result of research showed that significant equals of student’s physics achievement of affective, kognitif, and psycomotoric are 0.000, 0.0015, 0.000 respectively or the value Sig (one-tailed)≤ 0.05. The result of the student’s achievement retention is 0.000 or the value Sig (one-tailed)≤ 0.05. The reseach can be concluded that there was a significant influences of Problem Based Instruction model with the demonstration method on student’s physics achievement of affective, kognitif, psycomotoric and the student’s physics achievement retention.

Abstract

Problem Based Learning Model assisted visual card media is learning model that based on problems in daily life that presented in visual card media, and need of an authentic investigation in accordance with the problem on visual card. This study purpose is to assess critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes that given problem based learning model assisted visual cards media and were not given the problem based learning model assisted visual cards media, and to know the response of the students in the application of problem based learning model assisted visual cards media. This research is a purely experimental study with pretest-posttest control group design. The result of data collection was Analyzed by descriptive presentation and statistics (t test). Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that 1) the critical thinking skills of students were given a problem based learning model assisted visual cards media are generally the same as students who were not given problem based learning model assisted visual cards media. 2) there is a significant difference on the learning outcomes of students who were given a problem based learning model assisted visual cards media and are not given the problem based learning model assisted visual cards media. 3) The problem based learning model assisted visual cards media received good response from students.

Abstract

An assignment on a review analysis in the form of a process picture of an environmental event on physics studies is a learning assignment which serve a problem in the form of a process picture on an environmental event which is connected to physics conception and must be finished by a student by analyzing the event using the logic and realitic physics cocepts. The objectives of this research are to describe the effective physics learning using an assignment of a review analysis in the form of a process picture on an environmental event, to study the students’ learning activenes, the students’ physics test results and the retention of the physics test results of the high school students after using this assignment of a review analysis in the form of a process picture on an environmental event. The type of this research is the actions research with a research design using hopkins cycle. The samples of this research are the students of classes X MIA 1, X MIA 4, and X MIA 5 of SMA Negeri Arjasa Kabupaten Jember of the academic year 2014/2015. The method of data collection includes documentation, tests, observation, and interview. The data analysis uses an effectivity test of physics learning, activeness percentage to study the students’ activeness during learning, t-test using t-test paired samples with the help of SPSS statistic v16. in order to study the learning results, a retention test to study the strength of the assignment on a review analysis in the form of a process picture of an environmental event on cycle III which is considered to be the most effective, the students’ learning activeness can be conidered highly active, especially the component of the students’ activeness in being attentive on the teacer’s explanation and group discussion, whereas the component of asking questions is considered less active. The students’ physics study results after learning using an assignment on a review analysis in the form of a process picture of an environmental event are higher than the students’ physics study results before learning with the analysis of t-test > ttable, retention of physics study results for the three classes on every cycle using the assignment on a review analysis in the form of a process picture of an environmental event is considered strong and more motivating for the students with the study result retention can show an improvement if being compared to the post test scores.

Abstract

Berpikir kreatif (creative thinking) merupakan proses berpikir seseorang yang berorientasi untuk memunculkan suatu gagasan atau ide baru yang termasuk ke dalam kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi atau HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills). Kemampuan berpikir kreatif merupakan kemampuan berpikir yang berbeda, responsif (peka terhadap permasalahan), dan memberikan solusi yang tidak biasa dengan cara yang berbeda dalam menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan. Ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran yang sesuai merupakan salah satu indikator membelajarkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Indikator kemampuan berpikir kreatif meliputi fluency thinking (berpikir lancar), originality thinking (berpikir kebaruan), elaborate ability (keterampilan mengelaborasi), dan flexibility thinking (berpikir luwes). Namun, realita yang terjadi di sekolah menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran kurang menekankan pada kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Salah satu upaya untuk membelajarkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning. Peneliti memberikan solusi dengan menyusun LKPD berbasis discovery learning berbantuan diagram V. Diagram V yakni suatu alat bantu yang membantu peserta didik untuk mengkonstruksi pemahaman terkait pengetahuan yang dimiliki. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif yang dilakukan di kelas XI MIPA SMA terkait tahapan-tahapan penyusunan LKPD dan diagram V dalam upaya membelajarkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif, kesimpulan yang diperoleh yakni LKPD berbasis discovery learning berbantuan diagram V dapat membelajarkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dalam pembelajaran fisika.Kata Kunci: diagram V, kemampuan berpikir kreatif, LKPD Discovery Learning, pembelajaran

Abstract

This research based on the lack of students interest in learning physics. The students need for the inovation of teaching materials that can make the learning process into a pleasant atmosphere for students. This research aims to develop on abstract in subject  physics to produce  Students Work Sheet (SWS) Accompanied by Physiscs Comic on The Subject Of Pressure in Junior High School. . This research is  using the 4D model. This product can be implemented to the class after pass validation process. This product is designed by using comics as a medium of learning.If students find a pleasant atmosphere in their study of the total involved in the learning process to deliver the final results of this succses. The results of expert validation is 89.5%. The result of the user validationvalue achieved was 82%. It mean the teaching materials has been declared valid by the validator. Based on the analysis to student cognitive score, the effectiveness of the SWS is 71.22%,it mean the SWS is perceived to have sufficient effectiveness.Students response score is71.6%. This is included in high respons. So it mean, SWS can be used as teaching materials.
