Abstract

Abstract Based on interviews with one of the SMAN 1 Sampit physics teachers, teaching materials used are still less related to the surrounding environment, while the 2013 curriculum requires contextual learning so that learning is more meaningful. Central Kalimantan has a variety of local wisdom, one of which is traditional games. Basic knowledge of traditional Central Kalimantan traditional games, has never been associated with physics learning. Based on this problem, the development of a local wisdom-based module is needed. This development research using Nieveen's development model consists of three stages, namely preliminary research, prototyping stage, and assessment stage, the purpose of this study is to describe student learning outcomes after using local wisdom-based physics modules. Field trials were conducted in class X MIPA B SMAN 1 Sampit with a total of 33 students. Student learning outcomes consisted of pretest and posttest scores, the average pretest score was 23.64 and the posttest was 72.67, with an average difference of 49.03. Learning outcomes analyzed using N-gain got the medium criteria with a result of 0.65%. Physics Module based on traditional game of Central Kalimantan can improve student learning outcomes and is suitable for use in physics learning material momentum and impulses. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal UN fisika SMA pada materi medan magnet. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XII MIPA SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Jember. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes tertulis yang terdiri atas lima soal UN materi medan magnet yang dimodifikasi dalam bentuk soal uraian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, presentase rata-rata keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal Ujian Nasional (UN) Fisika SMA pada materi medan magnet sebagai berikut: tahap menganalisis sebesar 33.13%, tahap mengevaluasi sebesar 29.77%, dan tahap mengkreasikan sebesar 21.05%. Tahap menganalisis memiliki presentase yang besar sehingga menunjukkan siswa mampu menguraikan informasi (diketahui dan ditanya) serta langkah-langkah penyelesaian soal yang diberikan. Sedangkan tahap mengkreasikan memiliki presentase yang rendah sehingga menunjukkan siswa tidak terbiasa memeriksa kembali jawaban sesuai data yang diketahui dengan langkah-langkah yang runtut

Abstract

Abstract The teaching and learning process of science, especially physics, will be meaningful if the teaching and learning process is appropriate with the nature of science, it means that learning physics is not only through the collection of facts, principles, laws, and theories, but also involves the process of knowledge is obtained. The learning process is beneficial in the skills of the students? inquiry, such as increasing social interaction between the students, giving the students the opportunity to do activities directly, guiding the students to develop scientific vocabulary, encouraging the development of problem solving skills, helping cognitive growth, improving attitudes towards science, and helping the students to build mental images from new ideas. The type of research used is experimental research. The research design used nonequivalent control group design. In determining the place of research using the purposive sampling area method. The research was conducted in SMAN 1 Purwoharjo in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The competencies and indicators of inquiry skills that will be used are: (1) observation (2) investigation (3) exploration (4) skills to find something new. The analysis technique used the Independent Sample T-Test using the SPSS version 23 program, which is used to analyze the effect of the virtual laboratory assisted inquiry model on the skills of high school student inquiry. Based on the results of this research, it is known that the virtual laboratory inquiry model significantly have effects to the skills of high school students? inquiry. Abstract

Abstract   This study was conducted with the  purpose of describing to produce a valid android based learning media, to know the effectiveness of android-based learning media on the materrial of  optical tools, to know the students' learning response after using android based learning media on the materrial of optical tools gravity. This research is a development research with Nieveen's development model. Field trials were carried out in class XI MIPA 4 SMAN 1 Pakusari with a total of 34 students.The data acquisition instrument used is a learning media validation sheet. Questionnaire method is used to determine student's learning respose. Analysis of pretest and posttest data using N-Gain to find out the effectiveness of android-based learning media on optical tools material . Based on the results of expert validation, android based learning media is categorized valid with the validity value of 84% and on the results of user validation categorited  very valid with the validity value 90,6 %, so it is suitable for use in learning activities. The level of effectiveness of android-based learning media Student learning outcomes consisted of the pretest and posttest scores analyzed using the N-gain got the high criteria with a result of 0.70%. The results of the distribution of questionnaire responses of students with aspects of the response consisting of Display, Student Learning Instructions, Learning Objectives, and Content with an average percentage of total responses was 91,8% % which is included in the category of "Very Positive" and means students are interested in using media in learning.   Keywords: learning media based on android, media effectiveness, media validity, student response

Abstract

  Abstract Student worksheet based on the guided inquiry with the snakes and ladders game is one of innovation teaching materials that is used as an alternative learning in the class .This study aims to knowing the the influence of students worksheet based on the guided inquiry with the snakes and ladders game towards student motivation dan learning outcomes .This study research is an experimental research with a population of all students in a class of xi mipa senior high schools 4 jember , and the sample used is students of class XI MIPA 1 and XI MIPA 3.The result of this study shows that after implementing learning using LKS based on guided inquiry with the snakes and ladders game the average of student motivation and learning outcomes reaches 80,44% and 91,29, this result shows that a student motivated to learn after and their learning outcomes increase.  Keywords : worksheet guided inquiry, motivation, learning outcomes, snake and ladders game

Abstract

Dalam pembelajaran fisika dibutuhkan bahan ajar yang didalamnya dapat menuntun siswa dalam membangun konsep-konsep melalui pengalaman langsung. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengembangkan lembar kerja siswa berbasis POE dalam materi medan magnet kelas XII SMA. Hasil dari pengembangan ini memperoleh validasi, efektivitas, dan respon siswa. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan desain penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) model Borg and Gall. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMAN Mumbulsari pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Data efektifitas didapat dari hasil pre-test dan post-test dan respon siswa diperoleh selama dan setelah pembelajaran. Hasil uji peningkatan efektivitas LKS berbasis POE dengan menggunakan analisis N-Gain memperoleh nilai 0,62 yang menandakan bahwa efektivitas dari lembar kerja siswa berbasis predict, observe, explain dikategorikan sedang. Selanjutnya data respon siswa yang didapatkan memperoleh persentase 87,22 % menandakan bahwa respon siswa sangat positif pada lembar kerja siswa berbasis POE.

Abstract

Gambar proses adalah gambar yang tersusun dari proses dan tahapan, dimana proses dan tahapan ini mengubah fenomena yang terjadi. Gambar proses akan sangat membantu siswa dalam menganalisis suatu fenomena dalam memahami konsep tanpa menghadirkan kejadian yang sesungguhnya. Gambar proses adalah salah satu media visual yang dapat dituangkan pada bahan ajar disekolah seperti pada buku ajar, modul, dan lain sebagainya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh buku ajar usaha dan energi berbasis gambar proses yang digunakan sebagai media dalam pembelajaran fisika terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar dan retensi hasil belajar fisika siswa SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperiment dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest Design yang dilaksanakan di kelas X MIPA 2 di SMAN 1 Banyuwangi dengan 30 siswa yang terdiri siswa laki-laki (13 orang) dan siswa perempuan (17 orang). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes awal, tes akhir, dan tes tunda. Setelah menggunakan buku ajar usaha dan energi berbasis gambar proses, terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar dalam keriteria tinggi pada pertemuan pertama, dalam kriteria sedang pada pertemuan kedua, dan dalam kriteria sedang pada pertemuan ketiga. Selain itu, hasil dari retensi belajar fisika siswa setelah setelah menggunakan buku ajar usaha dan energi berbasis gambar proses adalah 97,27% yang tergolong kriteria tinggi.Kata Kunci: Buku ajar, gambar proses, pembelajaran fisika, usaha dan energi, retensi hasil belajar

Abstract

This research focuses on the of Learning Cycle 7E model assisted props three-dimensional (3D) in teaching physics. The purpose of this research include: assessing the effect of the Learning Cycle 7E model assisted props three-dimensional against the scientific attitude of students in learning physics class X SMA, assessing the influence of the Learning Cycle 7E model assisted props three dimensions to the learning outcomes of students in learning physics class X SMA, describe the students motivation after following the Learning Cycle 7E model by using Learning Cycle 7E-assisted three-dimensional props. This type of research is experimental research. Data collection methods used were observation, test, documentation, and interviews. The data analysis technique used are independent sample T-test and descriptive analysis. Based on the descriptive analysis of the scientific attitude gained an average of 78,08%. Analysis of data from the cognitive aspects of learning 0,481 > 0,05. The data analysis of learning outcomes affective aspects of 0,017 < 0,05. The data analysis of learning outcomes psychomotoric aspects of 0,042 < 0,05. Analysis data of motivation to learn was an average 78,69%. Thus, the model-assisted learning cycle 7E model props three-dimensional (3D) significantly affects the learning of physics.

Abstract

This research is development research focused on the teaching material of physics based on Smart Student Physics Magazine (MSPF). The objectives of the research are to study validation, motivation, and students’ achievement by teaching material of physics based on (MSPF) on science learning at junior high school (focused on motion of the object material). Design of development research uses 4-D model. The population of the research is the students of class VIII at SMPN 1 Jenggawah, while the sample is class VIII B. The data collection technique are observation, documentation, test, and interview. The descriptive analysis of validation and motivation used percentage table of validation logic and criteria of students’ learning motivation assessment. The descriptive analysis of students’ physics outcomes used the average score of students learning outcomes. The result of problem formulation showed that fair validation score from experts is 3,99 categorized as valid enough and can be used on learning activity. The average score of students learning motivation is 80,04% and it is categorized on the category of motivated. The students science average achievement on affectiveis 82,76, on psychomotor is 94,92 and on cognitive is 71. It can be concluded that teaching material of physics based on developed (MSPF) is categorized as valid enough. However, it cannot create an outstanding outcomes yet in each domains.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze a model of cooperative learning techniques TGT firing line with a media card to the drawing and the motor activities and learning outcomes of the three affective, psychomotor and cognitive learners and response learners. This type of research is experimental study using pretest-posttest control group design and sampling using random sampling techniques. The research data in the form of drawing and the motor activities of learners are taken by observation. Results of the research and analysis of the data shows that drawing activities have an active category with a percentage of 79.97% and the motor actitivities have a very active category with a percentage of 81.4%. The study of students experimental group was higher than the control class looks at the difference in average value of each aspect. Learners respond very positively to the model of cooperative learning techniques TGT firing line card media accompanied with the percentage 89.71% and 10.29% of students responded negatively.
