Abstract

The aim of this paper is to discuss the use of gallery walk technique in teaching writing announcement texts to junior high school students. This technique is applied to help the students in organizing their ideas. In addition, it allows the students to share and exchange thoughts in a small group discussion. Besides, the students can also take part actively. The different activity given helps them to reduce the boredom during seating for a long time. It is due to the students go around the class to solve the problem that posted in the chart.In conclusion, gallery walk technique can help the teacher in teaching writing an announcement text to the students.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to determine the improvement of students' understanding of physics concepts in the interpretation of the indicator by using contextual learning at class XI SMAN 1 Gaung Anak Serka. The expected benefits of this research was to provide alternative learning to improved students' understanding of physics concepts and maximize the performance of teachers in achieving educational goals. This research was conducted on October 2014 to February 2015. The type of this research was a quasy experimental design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The subjects were two classes of XI IA at SMAN 1 Gaung Anak Serka there were class XI IA 1 as a control class with 23 students and class XI IA 2 as an experimental class with 24 students. From the data obtained there were differences in absorption and gain scores between the control and experimental classes. The average of absorption experiment class was 73.26% in medium category, while the average of absorption in the control class was 50.54% that was included in the category of very low. For the average of Gain score experimental class was 0.46 that was included in the medium category, while the average of Gain score control class was 0.13 that was included in the low category. So it can be concluded that contextual learning provided the improvement on students? understanding of physics concepts interpretation indicators at class XI SMAN 1 Gaung Anak Serka.Keywords: understanding physics concepts, interpretation indicators, contextual learning

Abstract

Telah dilakukan uji kesesuaian pesawat CT-Scan 64 slice merek Philips menggunakan detektor unfors raysafe X2 di Instalansi Radiologi Rumah Sakit Universitas Andalas.  Jenis pengujian yang dilakukan diantaranya, uji akurasi tegangan, uji liniearitas keluaran radiasi, uji indeks dosis CT (CTDI), uji posisi meja pemeriksaan dan uji kesesuaian laser penanda. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu akurasi tegangan memiliki rata-rata % error sebesar 0,86%; liniearitas keluaran radiasi memiliki CL (Coefisient of Linearity) sebesar 0,010; indeks dosis CT (CTDI) dengan rata-rata CTDI100 sebesar 15,0536; ?z posisi meja pemeriksaan sebesar 0; uji laser penanda ?laser  ? tebal slice minimum yaitu 0,5 mm. Pesawat        CT?Scan 64 slice merek Philips dalam kondisi andal menurut Paraturan BAPETEN Nomor 9 Tahun 2011.Kata kunci : pesawat CT-Scan, uji kesesuaian, unfors raysafe x2

Abstract

The utilization of flash cards is one of the teaching methods in early literacy learning within Bahasa Indonesia subject. These are simply cards that display the written word. Flash cards can be bright and colorful and make a real impact on visual learners. Among many methods, it was considered one of the best fit for children at reading age. This article aims to determine the extent of the use of flash card as a medium of learning in improving the reading skills of students of class I MIN Rukoh Banda Aceh for the academic year of 2012/2013. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is the research conducted in a classroom using specific learning media, which in this regard is the flash cards. Data for this study is gathered through test results, observation during the learning process, and interview with teacher and several selected students. Data were analyzed using descriptive-comparative technique, in which each test results of the students’ reading abilities were compared to each other. Further, the results is described in an assessment data in the form of grades. The findings shows that teaching process using flash cards as a medium of learning are able improve early reading skills of students of MIN Rukoh Banda Aceh, especially those who are in class I, for the academic year 2012/2013. Abstract

Abstrak. Pemberian air irigasi secara berlebihan yang tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan air tanaman akan mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman. Salah satu model irigasi yang memungkinkan untuk mengatur jumlah air sesuai dengan kebutuhan tanaman adalah sistem irigasi tetes. Penjadwalan irigasi secara otomatis sangat mendukung disaat cuaca yang susah diprediksi akibat adanya perubahan iklim global. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji kinerja mikrokontroler pada sistem irigasi tetes yang mampu bekerja secara otomatis berdasarkan perubahan kadar air tanah pada tanaman pakcoy. Penelitian  ini dilakukan di desa Lambhuk, Kecamatan Ulee Kareng, Kota Banda Aceh dengan ketinggian lahan 3,8 m di atas permukaan laut dengan ordo tanah regosol. Metode penilitian yang digunakan adalah tahap persiapan yaitu pengambilan sampel tanah untuk dianalisis di laboratorium, pembuatan jaringan sistem irigasi tetes, persemaian benih pakcoy, persiapan media tanam sebanyak 8 pot tanam, pengkalibrasian sensor kelembaban tanah, persiapan bibit pakcoy serta penanaman, dan pemasangan sistem kontrol irigasi tetes otomatis. Tahap pengamatan yaitu diukur tinggi dan jumlah helai daun pakcoy, dan ditimbang bobot segar pakcoy. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem kontrol irigasi tetes otomatis dapat memenuhi kebutuhan air tanaman pakcoy berdasarkan penentuan kadar air tanah pada keadaan air tersedia, dengan koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,687. Kinerja alat penyiraman otomatis dengan menggunakan mikrokontroler dapat berfungsi dengan baik dalam memberikan air ke tanaman sesuai dengan yang diinginkan, hal ini dapat dilihat dari kemampuan alat merespon perubahan kadar air tanah menyebabkan katup terbuka dan tertutup sesuai dengan setpoint yang telah ditentukan. Terdapat hubungan yang erat antara perubahan kadar air tanah terhadap pertumbuhan pakcoy dengan koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,92 dan 0,799, dan terdapat hubungan yang erat antara pemberian air dengan sistem irigasi tetes otomatis terhadap pertumbuhan pakcoy dengan koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,778 dan 0,696. Sistem irigasi tetes otomatis dapat mengurangi pemborosan air irigasi.Study of Application of Automatic Watering Equipment with Drip Irrigation System Based on Changes in Groundwater Level on Pakcoy (Brassica chinensis L.Abstract. Excessive administration of irrigation water that is inconsistent with crop water requirements will affect plant growth and production. One of the irrigation models that allows to regulate the amount of water in accordance with the needs of the plant is the drip irrigation system. Irrigation scheduling automatically is very supportive when the weather is difficult to predict due to global climate change. The purpose of this research is to test the performance of microcontroller in drip irrigation system that can work automatically based on changes in soil moisture content in pakcoy plant. This research was conducted in Lambhuk village, Ulee Kareng sub-district, Banda Aceh city with land height 3,8 m above sea level with regosol land order. The research method used is the preparation phase of soil sampling to be analyzed in the laboratory, the making of drip irrigation system network, the seedbed of pakcoy seed, the preparation of planting media of 8 planting pots, the calibration of soil moisture sensor, the preparation of pakcoy seeds as well as the planting and installation of the irrigation control system Auto drops. Observation phase is measured height and number of leaf of pakcoy leaf, and weighs fresh weight of pakcoy. The result of research indicates that automatic drip irrigation control system can fulfill the water requirement of pakcoy plant based on the determination of ground water level in available water condition, with coefficient of determination (R2) equal to 0,687 . The use of automatic drip irrigation control system has an effect on the growth and production of pakcoy. There is a close relationship between soil moisture change to the growth of pakcoy with coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.92 and 0.799, and there is a close relationship between water delivery with automatic drip irrigation system to the growth of pakcoy with coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.778 and 0.696.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus terdiri dari ; umur, lama Diabetes Mellitus (DM), Neuropati, Obesitas, Hipertensi, kebiasaan merokok, ketidakpatuhan diet DM, kurangnya aktivitas fisik, pengobatan tidak tertentu, perawatan kaki tidak teratur dan penggunaan alas kaki tidak tepat. Jumlah pasien Diabetes Mellitus yang berobat dan rawat jalan dari bulan Januari sampai dengan maret 2018 di Poliklinik Endokrin yang mengalami ulkus diabetika sebanyak 113 (8,25%). Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis faktor risiko terjadinya ulkus diabetika pada pasien Diabetika Mellitus di Poliklinik Endokrin Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh 2013, yang meliputi faktor umur, lama Diabetes Mellitus, Kepatuhan diet DM dan Keteraturan pengobatan. Desain penelitian menggunakan survey analitik, dengan desain cros-sectional. Jumlah sampel 93 orang. Menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa risiko terjadinya ulkus pada pasien DM berhubungan dengan faktor umur p-value 0.000 (p<0.05), faktor lama DM p-value 0.000 (p<0.05), faktor kepatuhan diet Diabetes Mellitus p-value 0.001 (p<0.05), dan faktor Keteraturan pengobatan p-value 0.002 (p<0.05). Penelitian ini memberikan saran kepada manajerial Poliklinik Endokrin RSUD Dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh untuk memberikan konseling tentang risiko terjadinya Ulkus Diabetikum pada pasien DM.

Abstract

Peusijuek is one of traditional rituals in the Acehness culture. This tradition is usually done to invoke salvation, peace and happiness in life. As one of the cultural heritages, the peusijuek tradition is rich in values and special meaning. One of them is the use of plants in the ritual of peusijuek, which is used as symbols for hopes and prays. This paper would like to discuss about the types of plants used in the peusijuek tradition so that it can be recognized by the wider community, as to increase knowledge about the cultural traditions of the Acehnese people.
