Abstract

AbstrakSalah satu bentuk seni yang paling menarik dari budaya visual klasik nusantara adalah seni dekorasi dalam bentuk desain iluminasi yang dapat ditemukan dalam naskah kuno yang tersebar di nusantara. Di Jawa Tengah, desain iluminasi dapat ditemui dalam koleksi naskah kuno Jawa yang disimpan di perpustakaan istana Mangkunegaran dan perpustakaan museum Radya Pustaka Surakarta. Namun keindahan dan keunikan desain iluminasi yang ada dalam naskah Jawa kuno tersebut hanya tersimpan di perpustakaan dan museum, sehingga belum bisa digunakan selain sebagai obyek penelitian dan kepentingan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Menginventarisir dan mengidentifikasi desain iluminasi naskah Jawa kuno sebagai bentuk visual. 2) Merevitalisasi desain iluminasi yang berada dalam naskah kuno Jawa ke dalam bentuk vektor digital sehingga dapat digunakan lebih mudah dan lebih luas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk menjelaskan masalah melalui pengumpulan data dari berbagai sumber yang telah ditentukan. Kata kunci: Iluminasi, Naskah Jawa Kuno, Ornamen, Revitalisasi AbstractOne form of art that most interesting from the classic visual culture of the archipelago is the art of decorating in the form of illumination design that can be found in ancient manuscripts spread throughout the archipelago. In Central Java, the illumination design can be found in the collection of ancient Javanese manuscripts that are stored in the library of Mangkunegaran palace and the library of the Radya Pustaka Surakarta museum. However the beauty and uniqueness of the illumination designs that exist on the ancient Javanese manuscripts are only stored in the library and museum, so it can not be used In addition to providing a research object and educational purpose. These study aims are 1) To Inventory and identify the design illumination of the ancient Javanese manuscript as a visual form. 2) Revitalize the illumination designs that are stored in the ancient Javanese manuscript into a digital vector form so that it can be used easier and broader. Abstract

Kuku Bima Energi is a brand of an energy drink produced by P.T. Sido Muncul, Semarang. Sido Muncullaunches an advertisement of version Mari Berwisata di Negeri Sendiri (Let’s go touring in our own country).The research is purposed to describe: 1). background of PT. Sido Muncul represents television advertisementKuku Bima Energy version Mari Berwisata di Negeri Sendiri; 2). Visual strategy of television advertisementKuku Bima Energy version Mari Berwisata di Negeri Sendiri; and 3). Visual form of television advertisementKuku Bima Energy version Mari Berwisata di Negeri Sendiri. The research uses qualitative method and casestudy approach. The research process is arranged based on the data gaining and correlation in order toaccumulate information related to visual strategy and advertisement structure. The analysis used is aestheticsMonroe Beardsley. The result of research shows that Kuku Bima Energi in its imaging has been succeed inusing the nationalism issues to bind consumers by raising up the cultural and tourism values through televisionadvertisement. Abstract

AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bentuk visual dalam iklan Oreo versi “Bayangkan Kuberi Oreo Saat Ramadhan” di televisi dengan menggunakan pendekatan Estetika Media Terapan. Dari analisis yang telah dilakukan berdasarkan kontekstual visual iklan yang membagi elemen gambar menjadi lima elemen yaitu: cahaya dan warna, ruang dua-dimensi, ruang tiga-dimensi, waktu/gerakan, dan suara. Iklan Oreo “Versi Bayangkan Ku Beri Oreo Saat Ramadhan” menggambarkan bahwa Oreo sebagai brand yang sangat akrab dengan konsumen, menghadirkan momen Ramadhan yang istimewa dengan saling berbagi menikmati keajaiban dan membangkitkan kembali jiwa kanak-kanak. Pada akhir iklan terdapat adegan yang menunjukkan bahwa iklan Oreo versi ramadhan bagian dari kampanye iklan global yang sudah ada yaitu "Berbagi Keajaiban". Selain itu, Iklan Oreo Versi Ramadhan ini merupakan jenis pengingat (reminder advertising), tujuannya untuk memberitahu pelanggan tentang keberadaan merek oreo yang menawarkan karakteristik dan penggunaan yang sama. Kata Kunci: iklan, televisi, Oreo, Estetika, Ramadhan  AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the visual form in the Oreo ads version  “Imagine Me Give Oreo During Ramadhan" on television by using the approach of Applied Media Aesthetics. From the analysis has been done based on contextual visual ads that divides the picture elements of video ads in five elements namely: light and color, the space of two-dimensional, three-dimensional space, time/motion and sound. The Oreo ads version "Imagine Me Give Oreo During Ramadhan" illustrates that the Oreo as a brand is very familiar with the consumers, presenting the moment of Ramadan special by sharing experience the magic and rekindle the spirit of childhood. At the end of the ads is contained scenes show that this Ramadhan version Oreo ads is part of a global advertising campaign that already exists is "Sharing Miracles". In addition, this Ramadhan version Oreo ads is a kind reminder (reminders advertising), aim to inform customers about the existence of Oreo brand still offers characteristics, and the same usage. Keywords: advertising, television, Oreo, Aesthetic, Ramadhan

Abstract

AbstrakJepara memiliki potensi besar dibidang seni ukir. Potensi ini dapat dilihat dari masa Ratu Kalinyamat dan R.A. Kartini. Motif ukir Jepara dapat dilihat sebagai kontruksi sosial dalam hubungannya dengan identitas kultural dan tradisi. Motif ukir Jepara telah menjadi identitas kota melalui wujud kreasi-kreasi motif ukir dan ditempatkan di berbagai sudut kota. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah berupaya menguatkan identitas Jepara sebagai Kota Ukir melalui pengembangan desain motif ukir. Solusi yang diusulkan penulis adalah sebuah pendekatan historis dan estetik desain. Pendekatan ini dapat diimplementasikan untuk menjelaskan pengembangan desain motif ukir di Jepara dan aktualisasi identitas Jepara sebagai Kota Ukir.  Data-data yang digunakan berasal dari narasumber, tindakan, arsip dan sumber tertulis. Berdasarkan data-data yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini, maka penulis menentukan analisis secara siklus guna menjelaskan pokok permasalahan yaitu pengembangan desain motif dan identitas Jepara sebagai Kota Ukir.  Kata Kunci: desain, identitas, Jepara, motif ukir.  AbstractJepara have the great potential in the fields of carving art. This potential can be seen from the time of Ratu Kalinyamat and R.A Kartini. Carving motif of Jepara can be seen as construction social in conjunction with cultural identity and tradition. Carving motif of Jepara has become identity cities through carving motif forms that placed in various city corner. The purpose of this research is trying to strengthen Jepara identity as a carving city through design development carving motif. The solution proposed writer is an approach to historical and aesthetic design. This approach be able to be implemented to explain design development carving motif in Jepara and actual Jepara identity as a carving city. The data used originates from speakers , the act of , archive and source of written. Based on the data, the writers determine analysis to explanation  the main issues that is the development of motif design and Jepara identity as a carving city. Keyword : design, identity, Jepara, carving motif.

Abstract

Pada mata kuliah Reproduksi Grafika diharapkan mahasiswa memahami bagaimana proses percetakan Final Artwork (FA) dengan benar, sehingga kualitas penciptaaan karya desain akhir mahasiswa akan memenuhi standar industri grafika. Hasil karya yang memenuhi standar mempunyai nilai ekonomi tinggi dan memiliki potensi untuk dijual kepada masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah website yang akan digunakan untuk menjual karya desain mahasiswa yang berkualitas secara online. Pengembangan website ini menggunakan Metode Pengembangan Perangkat Lunak Multimedia, dan untuk pengujian menggunakan User Aceptance Test. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebuah website dengan alamat galeridesain.com, yang merupakan media penjualan karya desain mahasiswa secara online dengan kategori : cover buku, layout buku, dan desain undangan pernikahan. Abstract

Graphic reproduction courses or printing methods are one of the courses that always exist in every college of Visual Communication Design in Indonesia, with this course students are expected to understand how the Final Artwork (FA) printing process is correct, the result is the quality of the design work Finally, students have met print-ready standards in accordance with the graphic industry standard so that it has the potential to be offered to the public at large as ready-to-use works, but unfortunately the student's work has only ended up in storage. This study aims to optimize the potential that exists in the final design work to be more widely useful. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach aimed at analyzing the quality of student design assignments in the Gafika Reproduction Method course, and creating an online gallery as a means of channeling existing design potential

World Carving Centre is an expression that most appropriate for Jepara. Jepara hava a big potential in Handcraft can be seen in a leadership Queen Kalinyamat and R.A Kartini. A crafting design motive this moment have changed, there can take off from the role community.  Who Design development motive carving who stay until now by the artist.Motive carving Jepara capable of being viewed as social construction into the room in conjunction with its cultural identity and tradition.
