Abstract

Abstract : This research is classroom action research that aims to improve learning process and to increase mathematics outcomes by applied the learning model of Problem Based Learning. The subject of this research is students in VIIA SMP Negeri 1 Rengat Barat in academic years 2018/2019, which amounted to 27 students. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students Mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative descriptive, while the students mathematic tests were analyzed in statistic quantitative descriptive. The qualitative descriptive showed an improvement of learning process from before the action to the first and second cycle. Most of students were very confidenced and actived in learning process, such as while they were finished mathemathic’s problems that given, presenting the result of problems and giving the conclusion of learning.The results of this research showed the number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria for knowledge increase from the basic score (40,74%) to (59,25%) at the first test and to (77,77%) at the second test. For the skills, the increase from the basic score (37,04%) to (51,85%) at the first test and to (77,77%) at the second test. The results of this research showed that appication of PBL can improve learning process and increase mathematics outcomes for students in VIIA SMP Negeri 1 Rengat Barat in academic years 2018/2019 for the subject matter algebra operations and functions.Keywords : Mathematics Outcomes, Problem Based Learning

Abstract

Ibn Hazm al-Andalusi (w. 1064) merupakan salah satu ilmuwan Islam terbesar pada era pertengahan. Dia merupakan seorang ahli fiqh, filosof, sejarawan, dan ahli tentang studi agama-agama dan aliran-aliran teologis dalam Islam. Ibn Hazm menjadi sosok fenomenal karena metode dan materi kajian-kajian yang ia geluti memiliki kekhasan yang membedakan dengan kajian-kajian keilmuan pada umumnya. Kekhasan ini kemudian menjadi daya tarik para ilmuwan modern untuk menelaah pemikiran Ibn Hazm. Namun, karena metodologi yang digunakan kebanyakan filologi, ada asumsi seolah-oleh Ibn Hazm jauh dari dimensi humanistik seperti toleransi dalam kajian-kajiannya terutama tentang studi agama-agama. Makalah ini berusaha membuktikan sebaliknya. Ibn Hazm merupakan salah satu tokoh yang menekankan pentingnya toleransi baik dari sisi agama maupun kemanusiaan. Hal itu dibuktikan dari penelurusan atas realitas social dimana ia hidup, sejarah perkembangan kepribadian, dan bahkan ambisi politik Ibn Hazm yang mengharuskan dia untuk melangkah dan berfikir dalam nilai-nilai toleransi

Abstract

Discussing about Islamic studies in the territorial context has long been mentioned by observers in contemporary Islamic studies after the collapse of orientalist’s paradigm, however, in the territorial context of Indonesia, a regional Islamic studies has not been mentioned at all. Whereas, materially, both in the context of humanity nor religion, it is very urgent for being researched and developed in Indonesia, both from science, research, or institutional side. This article tries to start the efforts above by targeting the Islamic studies of Sumatra. The growth history and also interaction’s dynamics of religion and socials, the struggle between religion and power as reflected in the results of studies about classical Islam of Sumatera, both in the colonialism and post-colonialism era indicated a shift in issues knots. In the context of Islamic studies, that fact is a prospective land and also a challenge for further investigation. Because in each shift, the existence of religion and religious are always in disadvantaged position. Therefore, it is needed to revitalize Islamic studies on Sumatra that was driven by the higher religious education in order to maintain the existence and contribution for meeting the various dynamics and relations issues, also the conflicts of interest among religion, humanity, capitalism, environmental and power which have been more complex lately, particularly in Sumatera. Abstract

Sociologically historically, pesantren have the power responsive and adaptive to various developments of globalization and the demands of contemporary society, so that schools can survive to this day. This situation can be seen from the efforts to modernize, innovation and creativity towards many things in it.And in between modernization, innovation and creativity that made pesantren in an effort to respond to globalization are:1) transformation of the leadership of the pesantren; 2) transformation of pesantren education system; 3) Transformation of an Institution of Pesantren; 4) transformation curriculum of pesantren; and 5) transformation of educational methods at pesantren.

Abstract

Studying knowledge is studying archeology of human creativities in understanding the process of dialectic. Therefare, knowledge is always promising and dynamic process of progression. In this context, Ibn Hazm adds the importance of values in the process. Axiological dimension in knowledge seems so strongly emphasized in the reading of Ibn Hazm descriptivly. However, the critical-hermeneutical reading of his ideas more fully and precisely shows how widespread Ibn Hazm emphasized the importance of the role and the epistemological dimension of knowledge. This article tries to present both these dimensions.

Abstract

The number of contractor companies, especially in the field of roads every year continues to increase. Based on data obtained from LPJK website (Construction Services Development Agency) Province of Aceh Year 2016, shows that from 2,717 road contractors in Aceh Province, 1% of them are big qualification, 10% middle qualification and 89% small qualification. The problem is from the increasing number of road contractor companies in Aceh Province, it has not been followed by an increase in qualification and performance. These improvements can be seen from the quality of work, the timeliness of completion of implementation, and the efficiency of resource utilization of personnel, capital, and technology. This study aims to analyze the relationship and influence between contractor's qualification factors on the quality of road construction project, and to know the dominant factor in contractor company's qualification affecting the quality of road construction project in Banda Aceh City. This study used qualitative and quantitative methods through questionnaires, where the respondents were addressed to 90 road contractor companies. The contractor company has implemented projects from 2010-2016, with funding sources from APBA. The independent variables reviewed are contractor qualification factors consisting of legal factors, technical factors, and administrative factors, while the dependent variable is the quality of road construction projects. The results show that the legal, technical and administrative factors all have a very high relationship to the quality of road construction projects in Banda Aceh City. The contractor's qualifying factors all have a significant effect on the quality of road construction projects in Kota Banda Aceh of 91.6%. The dominant factor in the qualification of contractor companies affecting the quality of road construction projects in Banda Aceh is the technical factor. This suggests that when engineering factors are improved by contractors, the quality of road construction projects will increase.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPemanfaatan teknologi secara otomatis memberi kemudahan dalam penyampaian sebuah informasi. Dalam penelitian ini pemanfaatan teknologi dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan animasi untuk menyampaikan pengetahuan tentang sejarah pahlawan  Aceh  yang telah  berjasa dalam mempertahankan  daerah  tanah  lahirnya, dan  juga  mempunyai peran  pentingterhadap kemerdekaan negara Indonesia ini dalam mempertahankan wilayah ujung barat pulau sumatera dari penjajahan bangsa asing. Namun sayangnya pengetahuan terhadap sejarah perjuangan pahlawan Aceh pada generasi muda masih rendah. Hal ini dikarenakan kurangnya minat generasi muda dan kurangnya kepedulian masyarakat dalam menerapkan ilmu pengetahuan sejarah kepada generasi muda. Dari permasalahan ini maka penulis melakukan penelitian tentang perancangananimasi interaktif pengenalan tokoh pahlawan Aceh berbasis Adobe Flash. Software yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Adobe Flash Professional CS5, Adobe Photoshop, Format Factory, dan GoldWave sebagai software pendukung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif yang merupakan metode penelitian yang lebih difokuskan  dengan  situasi atau  fenomena-fenomena  yang diteliti. Adapun  juga tujuan  dari penelitian  ini adalah  untukmemperkenalkan dan memberi ilmu pengetahuan sejarah pahlawan Aceh kepada setiap generasi muda dan untuk mengingatkan kembali atau mengenang akan jasa para pahlawan. Kata Kunci : Pahlawan Aceh, Animasi Interaktif, Sejarah

Abstract

The discourse of kalâm (Islamic theology) in Indonesia has its long historical root. The discourse has initially emerged alongside the process of the spread of Islam in Indonesia. The dynamics of the discourse among various segments of the Indonesian Muslim society have found their rhythm from time to time. It should be noted, however, that the discourse has not yet found its genealogical pattern. This article, therefore, attempts to find the genealogical foundation and the pattern of studies of kalâm in Indonesia together with its trends. The developing reasoning of kalâm in the mediaeval periods of Islam, i.e. after the 12th century, tended to be strong in terms of its orthodoxy compare to the discourse itself. This subsequently becomes a source of inspiration for the discourse of kalâm in Indonesia until nowadays. As a result, there has been a sort of general trend that the study of kalâm in Indonesia has remained stagnant. It can be, among other, observed from the process of studying kalâm as knowledge reference, its development and formalization, and critique of the discourse, which indicate unprosperous condition for the discourse itself.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a class action research that aims to improve the learning process and to increase the outcomes of mathematics learning of the students by applying learning cycle 5E. The subjects of this research are the students of class VII7 SMPN 14 Pekanbaru at the second semester of academic years 2017/2018 as many as 35 students with heterogeneous ability. This research consist two cycles. Each of them has four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Learning device used in this research consists of Syllabus, Lesson plan, and Student work sheet. The data collecting instruments consist observation sheet (learning process) and mathematics achievement test. The data were analized by narrative descriptive and statistical descriptive analysis. The data were obtained from the observation sheets of teacher and students activities that showed the learning process has improved after the model being implemented. Data obtained from students mathematics achievement test showed that the frequency of students who reach the category of good enough and very good is increasing from the basic score to quiz I and from quiz I to quiz II on competency in knowledge and skill. Other than that, the percentage of students who achieved KKM competency knowledge from basic score to quiz I increased by 20% and from quiz I to quiz II increased by 22,86% and competency skill from basic score to quiz I increased by 20% and from quiz I to quiz II increased by 11,43%. In conclusion, the implementation of learningcycle 5E model can improve the learning process and increase the outcomes of mathematics learning of the students of grade VII7 SMPN 14 Pekanbaru at the second semester of academic years 2017/2018 on rectangular and triangular materials.Key Words: Learning Outcomes of Mathematics, Learning Cycle 5E
