Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan metode pembelajaran Contextual Teaching Learning terhadap hasil belajar dan Self-Esteem siswa pada mata pelajaran PKn. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Kuasi Eksperimen karena pada penelitian ini subjek tidak dikelompokkan secara acak, tetapi peneliti menerima keadaan apa adanya. Sampel berdasarkan populasi tersebut dipilih dua kelas yaitu kelas V di SDN 1 Rangkasbitung sebagai kelas kontrol dan SDN 1 Muara Ciujung Timur sebagai kelas eksperimen. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan teknik penyebaran angket, tes perlakuan dan perbuatan serta tes tertulis bentuk uraian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Hasil belajar siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran CTL lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran biasa, 2) Self-Esteem siswa yang mendapat metode pembelajaran CTL tidak lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran biasa.  Kata Kunci: Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL), Self-Esteem , PKn  Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of learning methods Contextual Teaching Learning for learning outcomes and Self-Esteem students in the PKn. The method used was Quasi-Experiments for the study of this subject is not grouped randomly, but researchers accept what their circumstances. The population-based sample have two classes of fifth grade at SDN 1 Rangkasbitung as the control class and SDN 1 Muara Ciujung Timurt as an experimental class. The collection of data carried out by the technical questionnaire, the test treatment and deeds as well as a written test in narrative form. The results showed that: 1) Learning outcomes of students who obtain CTL better learning than students who received the usual learning 2) Self-Esteem learning methods CTL student gets no better than students who received regular learning.. Keywords: Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL), Self-Esteem , PKn

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan utama penelitian ini untuk menyelidiki pencapaian dan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif matematis siswa serta self-esteem matematis siswa, sebagai akibat dari model Advance Organizer. Penelitian ini adalah peneltian kuasi eksperimen dengan non-equivalent control grup design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa MTs Negeri Bayah, dan pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu dengan memilih kelas VIII sebanyak dua kelas sebagai sampel. Satu kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen yang mendapat model Advance Organizer dan satu kelas lagi sebagai kelas kontrol yang mendapat pembelajaran biasa. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatf matematis, skala self-esteem matematis, serta lembar observasi. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji-t, uji-t’, dan uji Mann-Whitney menyimpulkan bahwa pencapaian dan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif matematis siswa yang mendapatkan model Advance Organizer lebih baik daripada siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran biasa; peningkatan self-esteem matematis siswa yang mendapatkan model Advance Organizer tidak lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran biasa. Abstract

ABSTRACT   Mastery of pedagogical content knowledge ability becomes capital for individual to achieve mastery in learning process in class either cognitive ability or teaching ability. The purpose of this research is to describe and examine the mastery of pedagogical content knowledge of PGSD students PPLK 2017 participants. The method used in this study is the survey method and research subjects are students majoring in Primary School Education that became PPLK 2017 participants. The research instrument consists of pedagogical content knowledge. The result of the research shows that the mastery of PCK (Pedagogical Content Knowledge) of PPLK participant is 80,8% and this shows that PPLK student of PGSD UNTIRTA Department has excellent ability in that case.   Keyword: pedagogical content knowledge, teaching ability.   ABSTRAK   Abstrak: Penguasaan kemampuan pedagogical content knowledge ini menjadi modal bagi individu untuk mencapai penguasaan dalam proses pembelajaran dikelas baik secara kemampuan kognitif maupun secara kemampuan mengajar. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan dan mengkaji penguasaan pedagogical content knowledge mahasiswa PGSD peserta PPLK 2017. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey dan subyek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan sekolah dasar yang menjadi peserta PPLK 2017. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari tes skala pedagogical content knowledge. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa penguasaan PCK (Pedagogical Content Knowlage) mahasiswa peserta PPLK sebesar 80,8 % dan hal ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa PPLK jurusan PGSD Untirta memiliki kemampuan yang sangat baik dalam hal tersebut.   Kata Kunci: pedagogical content knowledge, kemampuan mengajar.

Abstract

This research aims to develop mathematics student activity sheets on cube and rectangle box volume material, to determine the quality of mathematicsl activity sheets developed and to find out the user's response to mathematics activity sheets, and to understand students' understanding after using a sheet of mathematics activity. The development research method used in this study refers to the research design of the 4D model developed by Thiagarajan which consists of 4 stages of development namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The subjects of this study were 30 fifth grade students at Panancangan Elementary School 2. The results of the study were (1) the average level of feasibility of the mathematics activity sheet reached 84.6% which was included in the category of "very feasible", obtain an average percentage of 97% which is included in the category of "very good", (3) the teacher's response to the sheet of mathematics activity gets an average percentage of 83% which falls into the category of "very good" and (4) understanding test students obtain an average value of 86.03 which shows students' understanding in the "very good" category so that it can be concluded that the mathematics activity sheet was successfully developed into a better teaching material because it has been prepared according to the design and is able to provide learning benefits.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran animasi PowToon pada mata pelajaran matematika di kelas IV, khususnya materi keliling dan luas bangun datar. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model 4-D (define, design, development, and disseminate). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Karangtumaritis yang berjumlah 22 siswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan tes, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian didapatkan, 1) skor rata-rata dari validasi ahli dengan persentase sebesar 88% yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat layak”; 2) skor rata-rata kepraktisan dengan persentase sebesar 93,33% yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat praktis”; 3) skor rata-rata dari respon siswa dengan persentase sebesar 94,73% yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat baik”; 4) skor rata-rata dari post test sebesar 76,14 yang termasuk dalam kategori baik sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran animasi PowToon dapat memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa kelas IV mengenai mata pelajaran matematika pada materi keliling dan luas bangun datar.This research aims to develop PowToon animation learning media on mathematical subjects in grade IV, especially on the material circumference and area of plane. This research was the kind of Research and Development (R&D) using the 4-D model (define, design, development, and disseminate). The subject of this research was the grade IV SDN Karangtumaritis with totalling 22 students. Data collected with the tests, observation, question form, and documentation. Data analysis was done with a descriptive analysis. The research results obtained, 1) the average score of validation experts with percentage of 88% that are included in the category of "highly feasible"; 2) the average score of practicality with a percentage of 93,33% is included in the category of "very practical"; 3) score the average of the percentage of students with response 94,73% are included in the categories "excellent"; 4) the average score of the post test of 76,14 are included in the categories “good” so it can be concluded that the PowToon animation learning media can give insight to grade IV on subjects of mathematics on the material circumference and area of plane.

Abstract

Development of Exploratory Student Worksheets Based on Banten Cultural Context in Mathematics Subjects in Elementary Schools. The purpose of this research to describe the development and feasibility process of the student worksheets based on Bantenese culture, to know the student’s understanding after using student worksheet in the topic of geometry especially volume. This research is the research and development (RnD) using 4-D models (Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination). The subject of this research was the fifth-grade students of SDN Serang 3 consist of 20 students. The data in this study were collected using the questionnaire and test. Based on the results of this research obtained a score with a percentage from content experts 84.16% with very feasible categories, from media experts 85.83% with very feasible categories, 79.99% from linguists expert with feasible categories, 99.33% from user responses with very good categories and 86.75% the test results with very good categories. The results of this research indicate that the product can be interpreted to be effective in increasing students' understanding of the geometry topic, especially volume.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa serta strategi pembelajaran yang masih bertumpu pada guru. Salah satu alternatifnya yakni diterapkalah strategi pembelajaran Problem Based Learning, karena strategi ini diharapakan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pencapaian akhir dan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Problem Based Learning lebih baik dari pada siswa yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Inkuiri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi ekperiment dengan desain non-equivalent control group. Teknik sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dimana kelas IV-A sebagai kelas ekperimen dan kelas IV-B sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil analisis data menunjukan rata-rata skor posttest kelas ekperimen 75,03 dan kelas kontrol 68,7. Rata-rata data Gain kelas ekperimen 0,59 dan kelas kontrol 0,51. Hasil analisis tersebut memberikan kesimpulan bahwa pencapaian akhir dan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas ekperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol.                                                                    Kata Kunci : Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, strategi pembelajaran Problem Based Learning AbstractThe research is motivated by the low mathematical problem solving abilities of students and learning strategies that are still based on the teacher. One of the alternative is to apply the learning strategies of Problem Based Learning, because this strategy is expected to improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This study has a goal whether the final achievement and improvement of students' mathematical problem solving abilities using Problem Based Learning learning strategies is better than students who use Inquiry learning strategies. The research method used was a quasi experiment with a non-equivalent control group design. The sample technique used purposive sampling technique, where class IV-A as the experimental class and class IV-B as the control class. The results of data analysis showed an average posttest score of experimental class 75.03 and control class 68.7. The average Gain data of the experimental class is 0.59 and the control class is 0.51. The results of the analysis provide the conclusion that the final achievement and improvement of experimental class mathematical problem solving abilities are better than the control class. Keywords: Mathematical Problem Solving Skill, Strategies of Problem Based Learning

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find the usage of Jarimatika method in improving counting skills ability for low grade students on multiplication 6 to 10. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method. The sample of this study is grade III elementary school. Sample selection by purposive sampling. The study was conducted at SD Banjar Agung 4 Serang Regency with a population of all class III at the elementary school. Data was collected using several techniques of documentation, observation, tests and interviews. This study uses a prerequisite test that is normality test and homogeneity test using SPSS 19 program.The results of this study, there is an improvement in students? counting skills on multiplication 6 to 10 which can be seen by increasing the average score of students in the post test and based on the calculation of the t test with a significant value of 0.343 (exceeded the value of 0.05) and students are more enthusiastic and not quickly forget the multiplication calculation.

Abstract

 The study aims to develop thematic teaching materials in the form of lectora inpire-based learning media in the environmental sub-themes where I live. The subjects of this study werw fourth grade students of SDN Cilegon 1 Academic Year 2018-2019. The feasibility of this product was based on the validity level of lectora inspire-based thematic teaching materials, user responses to lectora inspire thematic-based teaching materials and student understanding after using lectora thematic-based thematic teaching materials inspire. Data collections techniques used questionnaire sheets, questionnaires and student response questionnaires, student comprehension test sheets and documentation. The result of the reseacrh that have been done are (1) the average score of the validation of the expert team is obtained with a percentage of 92.74% which is included in the category of ?very feasible? (2) the average score of students responses with a percentage of 94.07 included in ?very decent? category (3) post test average score of 88 which has reached the KKM value in the category of ?very good? so it can be concluded that thematic teaching material in the form of lectora inspired-based learning media is suitable to be used in the environmental subtme where I live in class IV and can provide understanding to fourth grade student especially on thematic learning.

Abstract

Kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis memiliki tujuan penting dalam pembelajaran matematika, memberikan pengertian bahwa materi yang diajarkan bukan hanya sekedar hafalan, namun lebih dari itu dengan pemahaman siswa dapat lebih mengerti akan konsep materi pelajaran. Maka dari itu perlu diterapkan suatu pembelajaran yang inovatif yang dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk mengembangkan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa pada materi penyajian data. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan desain non-equevalent control group design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dimana VA sebagai kelas eksperimen sebanyak 26 siswa dan VB sebagai kelas kontrol sebanyak 26 siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen 81,19 dan kelas kontrol 73,19. Adapun untuk uji gain rata-rata kelas eksperimen 0,69 dan kelas kontrol 0,53. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pendekatan realistik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman matematis, dengan pencapaian dan peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang mendapatkan pendekatan realistik lebih baik daripada siswa yang mendapatkan pendekatan kontekstual. The conceptual understanding of mathematical ability have an important goal in mathematics, gives the sense that the material being taught not just rote, but more so with the understanding that students can better understand the concept of the subject matter. Thus the need to apply an innovative learning that can be applied in mathematics to develop students' mathematical understanding capabilities. The purpose of this study to determine the application of Realistic Mathematics Education approach to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts in data presentation material. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with non-equevalent control group design. Sampling using purposive sampling technique, where the VA as many as 26 students experimental class and control class VB as many as 26 students. The results of data analysis showed an average of 81.19 posttest experimental class and control class 73.19. As for the test average gain of 0.69 experimental class and control class 0.53. Based on the results of the study concluded that the realistic approach can increase the ability of mathematical understanding, achievement and increase the ability of understanding mathematical concepts that students get a realistic approach better than students who get a contextual approach.
