Abstract

This study aimed to know that the implementation of classroom visit supervision can improve the performance of teachers SD Negeri 2 Kalimanggis in learning management. Subjects in this study were teachers at the SD Negeri 2 Kalimanggis, Kaloran District, Temanggung. The procedure used in this study consisted of three series of activities that will be carried in repeating cycles, include (a) planning, (b) the action by observation, and (c) reflection. The research approach used action research methods, while the data collection used study of documentation, observation, questionnaires and interviews. The results showed an increased ability of teachers to prepare lesson plans and manage the learning of the first, second, to the third action. The conclusion was the classroom visit supervision can improve the performance of teachers at SDN 2 Kalimanggis in learning management. Suggestions given to teacher was need to utilize the supervision activities as a source of information to improve teachers competence and performance. For the school principle need to utilize the result of this study as a reference in conducting research, while for school supervisor also need to utilize the results of this study as one of the references in the activities guidance towards principal and teachers in improving their performance.

Abstract

The graduatiton Program Master of Management Education Satya Wacana Christian University Salatiga. Supervisor Prof. Dr. Slameto, M.Pd. This study is to determine that through the implementation of supervision class visiting can improve the performance of teachers in the learning management. The subjects of this study are teachers in SD Negeri 2 Kalimanggis, Kaloran, Temanggung.  The procedure used in this study consists of a series of three main activities undertaken in a repeating cycle, including (a) plan, (b) action by observation, and (c) reflection. research approach using action research methods, while the method of data collection using the study documentation, observations, questionnaires, and interviews. The inference that supervision class visiting that can improve the performance of teachers in the learning management. Suggestions given to teachers, is taking  advantage of supervision activities as a source of information to improve the competence and performance, for principals use the results of this study as a reference in conducting research, while for school superintendent will use the results of this study as one of the references in activity guidance to the heads of schools and teachers to improve their performance.

Abstract

Abstract: Competency Improvement in Implementing KBM Through Implementation of Class Visits Supervision Based on Self Evaluation for Class III Teachers in the First Division of UPT. Dinpendik of Kaloran Subdistrict, Temanggung Regency in 2016, Research on the Action of Kindergarten / Elementary School Supervisors. Theteacher becomes an agent of learning in developing the potential of students to become learning inputs. Teacher certification guarantees recognition of the mastery of four competencies (personality, social, pedagogic, and professional) as a system. The teacher becomes the main actor in the teaching and learning process. The teacher is aprofessional educator who has duties, functions, and an important role in educating the nation's life. This study aims to find out that through the implementation of supervision of class-based visits, self-evaluation can improve the teaching competence of teaching and learning activities for third grade elementary school teachers in the first division of the UPT. Dinpendik of the District of Kaloran, Temanggung Regency. The subjects in this study were the third grade teachers in six public elementary schools in the Dabin I UPT Dinpendik District of Kaloran District, Temanggung. The procedure used in this study consists of a series of three main activities carried out in a repeat cycle, including (a) planning, (b) actions with observation, and (c) reflection. The research approach uses action research methods, while the data collection method uses documentation, observation, questionnaire, and interview studies. The results of the study indicate an increase in the ability of teachers to manage learning (KBM). The first cycle of the third action with the average results obtained from the six teachers in the third cycle of the third action 72.63 and in the second cycle the second action 87.70. Improving teacher competence in the management oflearning also has an impact on improving student learning achievement that is taught by teachers who receive supervision of class visits, it is seen from the results of UTS in the first semester of 2016/2017 with a mean of sixth grade Semester I 72.42 increased to 76, 91 average in 2016/2017 semester I UAS. The conclusion that supervision of class visits based on self-evaluation can improve teacher competence in class III at SD Dabin I UPT Dinpendik Kec. The newspaper in carrying out KBM.
